For some reason (probably because Google is embarrassed someone did a better job than them), the normal uBlock Origin is now unable to be downloaded. According to a comment you can inspect element and turn it back on, but I couldn't find how to edit the button element so go download uBlock Origin Lite instead. It's the same thing and made by the same dude, so go get it if uBlock Origin is giving you a hard time downloading it. (I didn't realize my uBlock Origin disappeared until I saw this and immediately went to go download the lite version.)

So essentially I began with Cybertronian units with explicit definitions in canon that are also widely used in fandom (ie. Vorn = 83 years, Joor = 6 hours, Groon = 1 hour). I then worked my way out from those and tried to keep to rough factors of 6/8/10.

Some terms that did have explicit canon definitions had to be slightly skewed from their value (ie. Breem: 8 → 6 minutes, Klik: 8 → 6 seconds) if their definition contradicted another definition that made more sense/fit better. 

At any rate, obviously no one is obligated to use this standard, but canon Transformers content has been unfortunately… awful at establishing any universal units of time, their relationship to each other, or their equivalents to human units of time.

So this occasionally makes fanfiction an absolute nightmare for people like me with a crap memory who don’t want to constantly have to scroll through a thousand pages of the wiki to remind themselves what the hell a groon is.

So, naturally, I simply spent far too long whipping up this at-a-glance guide to keep track of it & on the off chance that the fandom might adopt it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

First round pregnancy poll ended yesterday so time for me to bang out the last couple drabbles! Inspired by that cute art you sent in discord a little while back uwu

Optimus vents make a hideous wheezing noise as he inhales, and Prowl frowns. Somehow, despite Ratchet's strict order of bedrest, he sounded worse than he did yesterday. And even worse than he had the day before. It'd taken them all by surprise (and more than a little fear), when he'd suddenly collapsed out of nowhere earlier in the week. Optimus had been in the middle of his morning fuel, leaning against the wall and oddly quiet. Then, there was the clattering of a cube hitting the ground, and the dull thud of a body following soon after.

He'd collapsed from fever, and Ratchet had given him a very unkind rant about taking better care of himself. He'd jabbed him in the arm with an antiviral injection, then left their leader in Prowl’s capable servos.

“Watch him,” the medic had growled. “Make sure his aft stays put.”

Easy enough, because their Prime didn't seem to have the energy to even sit up, lst alone try to leave his berth to work.

Optimus exhales, and his vents make an awful rattling sound. Prowl frowns. He really doesn't sound good at all.

He drifts closer, studying his face. His whole form is wet with condensation, from the incessant streaming from his vents, and he’s steaming. Even in fitful recharge, his face is pinched in a frown. He must be so uncomfortable.

Prowl gently brushes two digits against his forehelm. He's so warm it'd probably be dangerous for a human to touch him. Poor thing… Prowl presses his palm against his head. Optimus murmurs something unintelligible in his sleep, then starts coughing–an ugly, thick noise that speaks of all the build up current clogging his ventilation system. He rolls over with a great heave of effort, and Prowl's servo slides to cup his cheek instead.

Feverbright optics peak open, bare slits releasing an intense cyan glow. The corners of his mouth twitch when he sees that it's Prowl, and turns to nuzzle his nose into the other mech's palm.

“How are you feeling?” Prowl whispers.

“...ok.” His voice rasps terribly, like his vocalizer been put through a grinder. The single syllable is laced with static, and sends him coughing all over again.

“I'm sure,” Prowl shakes his helm. “You're burning up.”

“Yeah…” Optimus groans in a very un-Optimus-like fashion and suddenly starts squirming, kicking at the thermal sheet carefully draped over him. His optics slip closed again and his lips barely part as he mumbles, “S'hot… so hot..!”

“That's the fever talking,” privately, Prowl allows himself a fond smile. He'd dare say the Prime is cute like this, sick and grumpy and barely coherent. “One moment.”

He slips away and returns in record time, with a large microfiber cloth heavily soaked and visibly wet. They hold fluid exceptionally well, and dunking it in a barrel of ice water made the whole thing perfect. He gently sets it across Optimus's forehead, and the Prime sighs with relief.

“...s'good…”

Prowl thinks he'll go back to sleep, if the exhausted smile is any indication, but then his expression suddenly switches to a frown. His jaw clenches, and he curls in on himself.

“Optimus?”

“...c- cooold…” he whines. “So cold…!”

“Also the fever talking,” Prowl pulls the thermal sheet back up and tucks it around his shoulders. “Is that better?”

“Mm…” he seems to be drifting off again, and Prowl is relieved. The more rest he gets, the sooner he'll recover. “Th'nks… Prowl…”

“Anything for you, Optimus.”
