Fandom Mama! Long time no ask. I am seeing stuff on Twitter about Chloe/Daisy being in Secret Invasion that I thought you would be best to ask you. Is she in it?

To my knowledge, NO, Chloe/Daisy will not be in Secret Invasion, she said as much in a recently interview. And before anyone yells at me, yes I know very well Marvel has NDA's, actors have lied, and and hides things all the time. But I still don't think we will see here, there is just no indication that the story or the MCU is going into Inhumans/Secret Warriors right now. And usually there is something, somewhere, that has leaked from set, just a little to hint of that surprise. I have heard none of those rumblings.

I wholly own I could be wrong on this one. I know there are people out there that are very confident she will show up. I've been on that I will die on this hill confident about a theory over the years too. I've hit and missed over the years, but like my overall track record on the whole theorizing and predicting things. For me the fun was in the predicting, research, discussions, asks, and metas.

I am not on the die on this hill with Daisy being in Secret Invasion.

Will I enjoy it if she doesn't show up, you bet! I'm so excited for this one.

It will be really nice to watch a who can you trust kind of show and not be petrified about it and its fallout like I was during AOS.

If IF, Daisy does appear in Secret Invasion I can not emphasize enough that IT WILL NOT BE THE SAME DAISY WE KNOW AND LOVE FROM AOS.

I've well established in many asks that thanks to the time loop AOS is off in a whole other branch of the timeline about a forest away from where the MCU is now. And the show was running years behind where Endgame would up. So our, Deke's and whatever many time streams they spun off via the loops and making waves in the Season 7 timeline is off in their own happy little worlds. Fitzsimmons have HEA in Perthshire (they will pry that from my cold dead hands), Robo Coulson is off seeing the world, May is running the Academy, Mack is the Director, Elena is the top Agent with Piper and Robo Davis, and Daisy is an Astro Ambassador with Sousa and Kora (again you will take that from my cold dead hands).

If Daisy shows up she will have a completely new backstory that will fit with what the writers of Secret Invasion needed. No team family, different origin story, no Sousa, different attitude and personality, heck a different take on her powers could happen. We saw in Season 7 how changes to the timeline, big and small, could impact things down the line. Then there was the fresh take we got on Ghost Rider on the show, completely different than the one we'd seen on screen years ago. Robbie's story was adjusted to fit the AOS 4a storyline.

Robbie is also proof AOS is way off in its own timeline thanks to the Darkhold.

At this point I think its best for everyone to just settle in for the ride. Unless we get an ABC intern level of finale photo leak, rip rando intern we love you, we are likely not to get any confirmation either way until the show actually airs.

Its totally cool to hope for it if you want it. While its totally cool to be against it if you don't. And its fine to be in the middle and just be along for the ride like I am. As usual have fun with the theorizing and Manage Expectations. Please...don't make me dig through my blog for that post again.

thanks for checking in on me...and whomever reached out to @eclecticmuses if it was you or someone else. It made me cry and feel some love from my fandom family.

I'm doing just okay in full honesty.

I have had some very difficult things happen IRL that hit me like a train, truck, and titanic all at the same time. The short, less detailed answer is my partner is leaving after lying to me for the entirety of our relationship. Dealing with the end of my marriage is a devastating thing to go through and there is much more to it I will not go into publicly.

Medically and mentally I haven't recovered from the medical incident (non Covid) at the beginning of 2020. I will not ever fully recover and I am slowly figuring out how to manage my new normal. I also do not qualify for Disabilty due to falling into a terrible bit of no man's land i the rules. But I am here and that is what is important.

The kids are good, we are making plans to attend a con this fall (they are very much hoping for some AOS presence there) though the kiddo has grown into quite the horror fan. She still loves to cosplay and AOS is very much still i her rotation.

For those of you who like to send me prompts, please keep them coming. I like to write to help me feel better and have an creative outlet.

When I first found Tumblr I was just looking for a place to scream with other people about Jemma getting eaten by the evil Space Rock. I NEVER imagined what a beautiful, loving, and amazing community and family that I would find from it. I am humbled so often to have people who care about me and enjoy my content or I payed a part in their fandom experience.

HEY! Did you see the New Rockstars Video? It really looks like Chloe is going to be coming to the MCU now!

I have seen it, for those who haven't you can check it out HERE.

The question of Chloe/Quake turning up in the MCU has been around as long as I've been in the fandom and I get an ask of this variation often.

Referencing the video a lot of his logic needs to be chucked out the window because:

AOS hasn't been in the 616 Universe since they noped out of there timeline in Season 5.

We have no idea how many times that the team had to go through the loop in order to save the world. From Fitz's meltdown in the flash forward it had been a fair few.

Every loop spun off its own new timeline.

Daisy did not survive in many if not all of those.

That video assumed that they were in both the 616 or 843 (whatever Universe that Scarlet Witch totally took out the illuminati).

The video also failed to take into account timing. AOS did not have a 5 year time jump as the MCU did. The only time jump AOS had from the end of Infinity War to the end of the show was in the search for Fitz....and that wasn't 5 Years. The last time we saw the team was well before the events of Endgame and everything that came after.

That's not saying we won't see her at some point.

Between the loops and the whole blowing up the timeline a few times in Season 7 there are an unknown number of universes that have Daisy and the rest of the team.

What I am saying is IF WE SEE A VERSION OF QUAKE EVER IN THE MCU IT WILL NOT BE THE DAISY/QUAKE WE KNOW FROM THE SHOW. This goes for anyone from AOS they might pull in again. The writers will likely give her a whole new backstory and could even change how her powers work. She won't have Sousa or Kora.

Not to mention there were Secret Warriors that AOS used very differently than the comics so one should be ready for that too. Yoyo and Hellfire notably.

I jealously guard the Happily Ever After we got in the finale. As much as I love Fitzsimmons I don't ever want to see them on screen again because I don't want to lose the beautiful ending they had. And I will defend it with torches and my stick.

So take all the speculation with a grain of salt and manage expectations accordingly.

FANDOM MAMA! I need a nice calm down, its going to be okay, and grief session post from you from Secret Invasion! It came out of no where!

Just finished watching myself and yeah there are feelings but per usual my mind is spinning and its time to bust out the cork board. Since this heads into a new fandom where I'm not known for spoilers we are going under the line. Just like the early AOS days, awww.

I don't know how much help i can be. That was definitely a heart wrenching way of kicking off the Season in a big way and show they mean business.

Maria was definitely on my list of not going to make it overall, but I didn't think it would be Episode one. From the previews she seemed like so much more of a player over all and I want to think they'd give her a bigger bang of a send off. Though it has a bit of the Coulson shock value flare to it.

That has my theory addled don't trust freaking anything brain entertaining that might not have been the end of her.

She seemed indeed human. The deaths of the Conspiracy Agent and hers were very similar, same weapon, same lingering shot. In both cases the bodies were left behind. Meaning anyone (cough Skrulls cough) could pick them up. The Skrulls may have the ability to heal them or the weapon was meant to make it look like they died. Meaning she could be used as shell or popped into those fancy pods to get the information and memories. Maria has a dangerous amount of information that is trouble for a lot of people in the hands of the wrong person.

Then I was thinking that in the chaos of everyone running in all directions, explosions, Maria was nabbed in the choas, and a double took the hit. They made a point of showing how fast they changed their looks, it just took a second out of sight. We saw Skrulls will revert to their true form after they die, but they can also take quite a bit of damage, that shot may have been nothing for who was impersonating her so Fury thinks she's dead.

Her returning at a peak moment when we are in the middle of not trusting anyone on the screen would make things ever so complicated. There is no way Fury would trust her, even if it was indeed the real Maria miraculously back because he watched her die.

There are lots of places they could take her with her clearance that could do some serious damage. If Fury doesn't get the word out, Rhodes for example could agree to meet her and walk in a trap. Though he is on the not trust list at the moment too. Basically everyone is currently on the not to trust list ATM.

Plus we don't know where Ross is, is he in one of those fancy pods and his image/knowledge being used. Or is he off hiding elsewhere.

But even if we see her again no matter what it could be the end for her and I have very little hope of her making it through...there is a small bit there though.

For the AOS fans reading this, buckle up we have got Season 4B nightmare situation. At least in 4B we had a finite number of suspects, now its any number of new and old faces that could be in the mix. Heck, the same face might not be safe with one being good and one being a evil Skrull.

The feel I get from this series is someone's story is coming to and end, Maria and Fury are some of the last of the OG's left. So like we've seen in a lot of the recent movies, a torch will be passed one way or another.

For now, hang tight, it will be okay, and know we are in for quite the ride!

Did you see the rumors that are out there that Chloe is going to be in Secret Invasion as a new version of Quake?

Rumors have been flying for ages that Chloe will be in Secret Invasion for over a year now. And we still do not have any sort of confirmed announcement from anyone I consider reputable, like Chloe herself, Marvel, Disney, or someone who gets a picture of her on the set in costume.

The only reason we have a pretty good feeling on Clark being in it as a deep dive IMDB slip of of someone listed as his driver. And like many IMDB boo boos that particular one is gone now.

For now I'm leaving it at a, "It Could Be". Chloe has been quiet and Secret Invasion has been pretty locked down. But I do want to caution AOS fans that if she is reprising her role as Quake for it, she will not be the Quake we know. Thanks to the multiverse, who knows how many trips through the Loop, and Time Travel fun times of Season 7 AOS spun themselves off well away from the MCU protecting our canon from whatever Hades the MCU pulls. And I for one like it that way and will defend our HEA with my dying breath. If there are name drops of other AOS characters again, not the ones we know.

A Secret Invasion Quake will not have Daniel Sousa as her boyfriend, a sister named Kora, another sister named Jemma Simmons, Mack will not be the Director of Shield. If they pull her in my money would be on them wanting to use the Secret Warriors (I have also heard rumors of them reimagining Creel). They have that team from the comics to pull from and any ones we did see on AOS again can be reimagined and even recast to fit with what they are going for. Meaning we could see a new Hellfire (James), Absorbing Man (Creel), and Yoyo (Elena). Plus there were other members of that team that my brain can't pull from the theory dregs right now.

Yes, I'm back. I am feeling a bit better mentally. Thanks to everyone for the messages and asks checking on me. For those sending AOS prompts I am working on a couple of them right now, I'm slow but I do try to get to them all.

I am for sure watching Winter King and loved the first episode, so will naturally be posting and passing along articles and stuff if that is what you mean. But I will never be able to be on the level of spoilers and theories I was with AOS, I wasn't watching the filming of it that close but my ask box is always open.

did you see that somebody added chloe to the google cast list of secret invasion. Is that something anyone can just add, because I always thought those were unreliable?

Hi Anon,

Yeah, that is a bit of a puzzle because I don't know how one edits the Googles like that and who exactly can. Clark was confirmed via his driver in IMDB so lots of digging...and that's been removed. It's like how we knew BJ would be back for the Framework, his stunt double listed himself and we got screenshots before it got deleted.

I'm not saying she won't be in it but that is far from confirmation for me. There are so many unknowns in when it takes place in the overall timeline and what Universe its pulling from. With the multiverse in play it might not be the AOS versions of the characters or could merely be them being impersonated by Skrulls....Yay not knowing who is who, wheeeee.

For me to confirm someone would be showing up in AOS I'd need either:

Picture of them on set. And full disclosure I am not doing what I did for AOS for anything else.

Not my 100% confirm but seeing a bunch of the cast and crew suddenly start to follow them on social media. Cough Dove cough.

Them confirming they are doing it.

Listing in IMDB be it the actor themselves, an assistant, or stunt double.

I'm also pretty jealously guarding the ending for AOS. I'm old and seen a lot of shows end. It is so rare to get an ending like we did. Pretty much Happily Ever After's all around. Yes, there was loss, Enoch but in my happy brain Deke tracked him down in his Universe and they are Besties and Fitzsimmons will eventually find a way to get back to him. TLDR As much as i want to see Fitzsimmons again I want them to be safe in Scotland with Alya and I have a big stick to guard that with.

Having the characters show up again can mess with that HEA that I love so much. An out of that of course is the we are in a different timeline and the Coulson and Daisy there would be a total blank slate for the writers to work with, able to fill their backstories as they need too to fit the story they have in place. Same goes for Skrull doubles of them rolling in and just inserting themselves into the story. However, if the Framework taught us anything its be careful what you wish for.

For now, I'm firmly in the wait and see camp and will insert the "Manage Expectations" lecture here (haven't had to use that guy in a bit). Chloe has been insanely quiet on social media and could have easily been filming something we don't know about. Or she could just be taking a break from Social Media.

For Hawkeye is there any chance that the Rolex belongs to Coulson? That is who they are protecting?

I would be shocked if it was, and if it was it wouldn't be the Coulson we know from AOS. The AOS timeline ended before the events of Endgame, they kinda of ended mid blip for the main MCU timeline. Meaning a Coulson (or any other characters) we'd see from AOS wouldn't be the ones we knew from the show. they would have different back stories and events that would have gotten them to where they are now.

Which I'm totally down with for the most part since our Happily Ever After is safe in their little branch and if Deke is safe in his. And I don't know if the old Cap Cards are enough to tell the audience for the MCU Coulson liked cool old Shield stuff. Only fans of the show know that. But its something worth filing away.

Clint said that "He got out," and that limits the list down for me quite out bit between whose identities are just out and about (pretty much everyone), who is very publicly working, who is dead, and who is potentially in hiding.

There is always a chance it was so important, belonging to someone good or bad, that it was being kept there for safe keeping during the snap.

Top Picks:

Steve: He's off with his Happily Ever After, enjoying his retirement and likely the family he built with Peggy. But that doesn't change how many enemies he made a long the way.

Tony: While he's dead, pulling a look he's alive now wouldn't be done in a Disney+ Show. That kind of reveal would be a No Way Home leave the entire theater screaming kind of moment (glares at the multi verse and prepares for feels). But anything that belonged to Tony Stark likely has all sorts of tech or secrets or access to secrets. And if it's not Tony's it could have been Howard's kind of thing.

Fury's: We haven't seen/heard much of Fury for a very long time. On top of that we don't know how long the Fury we saw was a Skrull. AND Secret Invasion is coming, so that could be how they get the ball rolling on that....or Hawkeye ends with a huge Skrull reveal and those of us who survived AOS's LMD arcs settle into the blanket fort.

Clint: he picked it up at some point in his ronin times and it ties to a big bad.

Mockingbird: We know and love AOS’s version of this character in Bobbi. And in the comics she is heavily tied to Clint professionally and romantically. But with our Bobbi likely not and option we could get a surprise in Laura was this Universes Mockingbird. Remember when we have zero back story is when writers go absolutely wild. It could also explain the skills she showcased in the episode and why she was so close to Nat. It would also be insane for the track suit squad to show up and then get a surprise clobbering.

It's a Surprise and either a new character that isn't in play yet but the watch is what brings them in play or connects to something.

I also feel that it was important that they pointed out it was a Rolex. Those are expensive and something that can be handed down for generations.

Regardless the Rolex is our McGuffin meant to move the story along in a major way.

Hey there! I thought the Darkhold reference in Wandavision was awesome for AOS fans, but I’m a little worried it might interfere with AOS canon. I also heard that not only does this book look different in Wandavision, but that the Darkhold was also in the show Runaways too. Could an explanation be created to explain these differences, or is Marvel starting to leave AOS in the past and hoping people forget eventually that AOS existed? 😕

(Also, I’ve seen so many trolls insisting on YouTube that AOS isn’t “canon” anymore, which just pisses me off, frankly, and I don’t believe that’s necessarily true)

The way I see it is AOS Canon is currently locked and safe off in its own universe.  I established that the AOS timeline is about 3 years behind where the MCU is as the MCU Is operating post snap right now, and Shield ended maybe 2 is years after it.  

One of the good things to come out of Season 5 was the Time Loop, we are aware of at least two loops, but we honestly have no idea how many times they tried and failed to break it.  Each failure would have started off another timeline.  And Season 7 gave us another 2 with the one we ended in and the hot mess one Deke is in.  Both of which there is zero evidence of the snap happening or anything else recently tied to the MCU.  So in my mind we are save.  Anyone we see from AOS again is likely to come in with a different backstory basked on what is needed for the current story and events.  

It is also worth mentioning that in the Comics the Darkhold can change its appearance, so it could indeed be the same one, and it would allow them to bring in Robbie if they want too.  As he would have stayed in the pre time loop jumps timeline.

I don’t think its that they forget AOS ever existed, its that the story is well beyond where AOS was and same for us.  AOS moved on from the MCU and essentially created their own Universe which I’m totally happy with.  Meaning whatever hades is coming in the MCU AOS is safe off there in its own HEA bubble.

Some Things Are Better the Second Time Around

As she moved towards what had become their home Jemma could hear Alya asking questions about whatever she had chosen for her bedtime story that night. Alya was cuddled against Fitz, his arm wrapped around her, with a book between them. Jemma’s heart swelled from the sight, she would never tire of seeing their daughter in her husband's arms.

Jemma noted that the book wasn’t one of the many story books Enoch had brought back, rather a now worn photo album that they had put together of their friends and family after they’d arrived. Neither one had wanted to risk losing them should their phones give out at some point and it was nice to have the physical reminder to show Alya everyone she had yet to meet.

“Mama is so pretty,” Alya said pointing to the page, “like a Princess.”

“Yes she is Monkey,” Fitz said as he gazed at the picture himself.

“Will I look like a Princess when I get married?” Alya asked.

Jemma felt her stomach twist when she realized what pictures they were looking at. Their wedding was one of her favorite things as it combined her family and pictures of a world she had yet to know. The waterfall, trees, and flowers fascinated her to no end.

Hi, what do you think of the chances of the AoS characters being in the films/D+ originals via the multiverse? Clark was in What If, Ming being in Star Wars makes it difficult, Chloe quit Powerpuff due to scheduling issues when Secret Invasion began filming in the UK (despite her denial), Iain said he'd jump on it (though they'd have to guarantee his availability since it was implied that he signed on for "Us" sometime before November 2018, when S7 was announced), Elizabeth said she'd love to.

Now that the multi verse is fully in play I'll say never say never with anyone depending on what the story demands for the upcoming projects both now and farther down the line. Thanks to the multi verse anyone can be worked in one way or another. Multi Verse also allows writers to make their own backstories they need and can ignore what they want from AOS.

My top two pics to see show up would be Clark and Chloe. Clark just because of what a fixture he is in the MCU and how many projects we've already seen him in. And Chloe because of Quake's comic arcs, one of which has her as Director of Shield and others leading teams of Inhumans.

And as much as I love Fitzsimmons and would absolutely love to see them again I am super torn about seeing them again. The ending they had was just so wonderful and I know full well that kind of Happily Ever After is rare in TV. I would hate to see that messed with even if its in another timeline. Then there is the downright healthy fear I have of Framework 2.0 in some sort of Hades hellscape of a timeline where we'd see them evil, killed, or worse (like I don't think any of us want a story arc where they are forced to work with the baddies in order to protect Alya and their family). *That was not a suggestion writers out there *

That all being said I won't be shocked to see at least one of them pop up at some point in time.

How did you handle all that ask and speculation stuff for AOS? I am in other fandoms now and they have people who do speculation posts but they are usually wrong or rude about their ideas. I guess I got used to how you would do things and miss it.

Hi Anon,

I miss doing the whole theory and ask thing too. Hard to believe it's been a year since Season 7 started.

When I first started throwing theories out there I wasn't known so when they'd hit or miss it wasn't a a huge deal. As time went on I and my theories became more well known I knew I was really putting myself out there when I'd throw all those ask answers, meta, and predictions out. And that wasn't always easy...Framework and end of Season 5 I'm looking at you.

I knew in putting myself out there that I had to accept that there would be those who disagreed with me. Some would offer a spirited debate and others would just send me Anon hate. In order to keep doing what I was doing I was okay with that. Others just aren't. Be it an ego thing, a mean asks hurt thing, or a if I wish for this idea hard enough it will actually happen thing. At the same time everyone is free to make their blogs as they like. Some will be open to discussing or debating their speculations while others won't

WandaVision SPOILERS So Wanda has the darkhold now and is reading it and we know that the darkhold corrupted the people who read it so do you think she could be the vilain of Doctor Strange 2 ?

 Villain or no NOTHING GOOD IS GOING TO COME FROM HER READING THAT FREAKING DEMON BOOK!  Robbie needs to come and that thing back stat!  Also in the very alarming category of things was that she will be the one who takes out the Warlock.  I have concerns for said Warlock who may or may not be Doctor Strange...or that is a decoy and the Warlock is the real baddie hurtling towards us.

Okay so back to the Darkhold.

Many a weary Agents of Shield fan will remember the not so fun times of Season 4 it brought about.  Everyone who read the Darkhold started out doing so with good intentions...only to become a villain.

Lucy and her team were trying to make the world a better place.  Only it made them the evil ghosts and brought Eli into the mix.

Radcliffe merely opened it to help save Fitz, Coulson, and Robbie and that was enough to get its hooks in him.  While AIDA did read it to and did save them...AIDA 2.0 on the other hand was influenced by Radcliffe and then her own wants.

And for everyone who read it, it didn’t end well, not to mention those closest to the reader often were hurt as well.  Lucy’s husband, Robbie for Eli, and Fitz for AIDA/Radcliffe.  That alone is giving me great pause with Scarlet Witch reading it as I am incredibly worried for Vision and Billy and Tommy...no way we aren’t seeing them again.

The hard thing that is in play here is we don’t know how much the MCU Darkhold is going to have in common with the AOS Darkhold and the Comic Darkhold (that is why my whole there is something evil in the Darkhold wanting out theory came back from the dead in the closing moments).  

It already got a bit of a makeover and AOS never mentioned specific chapters on anything or anyone, rather it was just showing the reader what they wanted.  

From there its where the writers want to go with it.  As I believe as it was on AOS the Darkhold is going to be a very heavy plot device to allow them to steer things where they want it to go story wise and make some more ‘magical’ leaps happen.

Something else on my Radar was that we had Wanda enjoying tea and Scarlet Witch deep in study and hearing her kids.  

After all that rambling I need to bring it back to your original question in that do I think the Darkhold corrupts Wanda and makes her the Baddie of the next Doctor Strange Movie.   And right now, I’m on the fence.  

One side of me can see her being a fabulous red herring villain, perhaps even being the one that sends us into said multiverse of madness, only for and epic villain plot twist during Doctor Strange.  While the other saw many of those warning signs they did with Fitz before they unleashed The Doctor on us.  Teasing many times how bad it would be if she was the villain, Agatha warning she had released something very, just as they did with Fitz in warning what would happen if his tech was used the wrong way.   IE she’s been the fake villain a few times so hold onto your hats for when she is the REAL villain.

No matter what I think she will have a big roll in helping the poop hit the fan simply by not flinging that book into the sun the second she got her hands on it.  Her using the book could simply be a way of pulling her into whatever Doctor Strange has going on as I imagine using that kind of Magic combined with the Evil Book has to somehow show up on Doctor Strange’s radar.  

Scarlet Witch....could also be trouble if it is coming down to a fight for control of her body with Wanda wanting to do one thing and Scarlet Witch wants to do another.

For now we are stuck with some good old wait and see for more clues until we can start to but things together better.
