Hello again, Autobots, Decepticons and gentlebeings of all persuasions! Moderator @eerian-sadow here, with all the details for the upcoming Jazz Week, where we celebrate the smoothest, coolest cat ever produced by Hasbro.

Of course I’m talking about Autobot Jazz! 

Jazz Week, or Autobot Jazz Week to keep confusion among the music festival crowd to a minimum, is a themed prompt week that will run during August. The dates for 2022 are August 7-13, in fact.This does overlap AUgust, unfortunately

BUT!!

You can absolutely overlap your challenges. In fact, I encourage it! I don’t expect anyone to turn out two or three or more pieces per day, so please double or triple dip for THIS challenge. After all, it’s fine to wear the same dress to more than one party. ;) AND this is an “All Fanworks Welcome” challenge! Whether you paint, draw, write, knit or make floral arrangements, any andd every fanwork that celebrates Jazz is happily welcomed here. 

And importantly, there are prompts. Here’s the 2022 Jazz Week list: 

August 7: Big bang/Playing Coy

August 8: True Colors/Rocket Fuel

August 9: Car Wash/Dreams

August 10: Wishes/Blood

August 11: Last Leg/Another Life

August 12: Human Error/Earth Music

August 13: Creator’s Choice

Like 2021, there are two prompts per day. These are intended to be an either/or sort of deal and you are not in any way expected to put both in one creation or to respond to both prompts with individual pieces, they’re just there to give options. In fact, if neither prompt inspires you, that's okay too! Prompts are for inspiration not requirement.

Well, all good things come to an end, and so we say goodbye to the 2022 round of Jazz Week. Y'all made some great contributions this year and we are so thankful you joined in to make our third year of the event successful! If you have a piece in the works still, go ahead and finish and post it! Mod eerian checks every few days for more goodies to reblog til the end of the month. (Also, tags seem to be weirder than usual so if we missed your piece, feel free to @ us!)

Next year's event date is already determined! We'll see you again July 16-22, 2023!
