#n#ahhhhhh what a month for reading!#cackle was fun? cute? but extremely not what I was expecting#I kept thinking someone was going to roast and eat someone else for supper perhaps#This Thing Between Us is so so so good. so beautiful. so incredibly marvellous and I loved it#one of my favourite things I’ve read this year I just adored it and it was a balm and it was painful and it was so good#Cirque Beserk was a bit of good fun! a slasher novel quite literally#Other Terrors oh boy oh boy#I enjoyed a select four or five stories particularly well#the ones I enjoyed I LOVED. but the rest ranged from bad to dull to just not for me#Daisy Darker!!! SO much fun!!!!! one of my favourite new mysteries I had a delightedly good time with it#Medicine Walk is so special. I’d wanted to read Wagamese for so long and I’m glad I finally did#I listened to a radio clip of him talking about writing this book for his two sons as a way for them to understand their relationship with#him better#When We Were Birds is another favourite book of the year I looooooved it. so beautiful#i loved Yejide I loved her family I loved the writing I loved the way the characters begin to intertwine I loved it#Autumnn! my first ali smith novel and certainly I’ll be reading more from her#this book swept me away I was reading and reading and came up for air forgetting I wasnt seeing the story happen right in front of me
