What motivates me? Hatered? Is it love?
I love this song so so much and the fact that I assosiate different parts of it with different characters is just so!!
I had this idea back in June but due to the lack of time I didn't do it, and when I finally sat to do a sketch my brain went "you know what? This pose is actually super difficult for you, let's not do it". Then I sat to it last week and did the first image in like (added up) 7 hours? Add or take, I'm bad at time
I would talk more about how I view Purple's relationship with Navy but the talking part of this post is already long enough, plus I think it deserves its own post

I rewatched AVM episode 29, and I think there’s something the fandom may not have been clear enough.
In this montage, Purple was telling Green how they grew up under the harsh training of their father Navy, eventually Navy left their family, leaving them alone to face their mother Orchid's death. Do note that we were watching this from Purple's POV, and in Purple's POV, Navy left because they consistently failed to meet Navy's expectations due to a lack of resilience and combat prowess. It's not far fetched to say that Purple was blaming themselves for their parents' separation and possibly even for their mother's death.
But is Navy's departure really Purple's fault? Definitely not. If we compare the height of Purple and Navy in this scene, it's safe to assume Purple was just a child or a preteen when Navy left.
Would any parent with their right mind would be so dissatisfied with a child's performance(who is no older than 13), that they chose to leave their family? This is the equivalent of a father abandoning his middle schooled children because they can't do well in school. Highly unlikely.
A more reasonable explanation is that Navy left because of him and Orchid's incompatible parenting styles. We can see in the montage that Orchid had always been very lenient with Purple, offering them her arms to hide from Navy.
Orchid definitely disagreed with Navy's parenting methods. She could have accused Navy of hurting Purple(whether it is true or not is really up to debate), and Navy could be frustrated at Orchid for always letting Purple hide away from challenges, which could also be true. This was the source of their conflict and eventually, coparenting with Orchid became insufferable to Navy. So, Navy chose to leave this family for good.
Navy left because of the conflict between him and Orchid, not because of Purple.
It saddens me to see Purple bearing the burden of their parents' mistakes. This kid had been through so much, and none of that was their fault. It was truly fortunate that they met Mango, a parent that wouldn't expect too much from them and wouldn't be overly indulgent either.

Hi!
You can decide not to answer if you don't want to, and I won't absolutely judge anything, but what kind of relationship you see for the Hollow Heads?
Just curious
Tl;dr: Hollow heads are all siblings
Sorry if you meant it feelings-wise, but I used this ask to explore and put on paper some of my interpretation and story/world building
