I'm so invested in this poll, that vintage ladies have become present on my mind on a daily basis... So for a moment, I forgot many of them aren't alive anymore, and I thought "I should follow Ava Gardner on Instagram" 🤦‍♀️😂

Such highs and such lows, this was Ava. Nothing between. Like a queen one moment, a scared child the next. At times so romantic, so sweet, like a girl of seventeen years old. She was very romantic, a strange, romantic creature. The things she did were not those of an ordinary person. - Claude Terrail on Ava Gardner, Love Is Nothing

I know you like family asks ☺️ I just have the one story, maybe you'll like it maybe not. So years ago my mom and I went on a road trip and at one point we saw there was an ava gardner museum and we were like well there isn't anything else around here might as well go. So we went to the museum and we saw all the stuff about her life and career and whatever and it was a nice time with my mom for one of the last trips we had together before she died. And so now whenever I think of ava gardner I also think of that memory and that trip which is a nice gift for her to give me. Also the thing I remember most from the museum is the costumes they had on display which were tinyyyyyy. Like ava has so much personality and presence you'd think she was bigger but she was SMALL
Thank you for sharing!
