I’m fascinated by how much my shape changes depending on how much I eat. I’m short and all that food has to go SOMEWHERE. So it just pushes out the big gut I’ve grown in every direction, softness growing taut, stretch marks stretching as much as they can.
A couple of weeks ago I was traveling, and got a hotel near the airport to stay at before I drove back home the next morning. The flight was across the country, so by the time I got in, I was just ravenously hungry. It was a little after midnight, so all that was open was a Dennys that was fortunately only a five minute drive away.
Delirious from jet lag and hunger, I had zero inhibitions about what I ordered. I started off with buffalo tenders and a slam burger with fries and a soda. The waitress tried to take the menu once I’d ordered, but almost in panic, I reached out to keep it “in case I was still hungry” (which got me a skeptical look).
I ate the first round pretty quickly, feeling my belly gurgle appreciatively as I filled up. To be honest, I probably could have stopped there, I haven’t been pushing my limit very often lately, but I was feeling reckless.
The waitress came back and I ordered a berry pancake grand slam and a chocolate shake. There was enough time between orders that I was starting to notice how full I actually was. My belly felt nicely round when I felt it under my hoodie - not huge, but definitely round enough that a discerning eye or touch would notice the difference. I rubbed out a short belch to try to make a little room and dug in.
The eggs and hashbrowns went pretty quickly, but the pancakes started to feel like a bit of a slog, especially weighed down by the chocolate shake. That was what really stretched my tummy out, all the thick chocolate milk shake. I was trying to stifle little involuntary groans from how much my belly was aching by the time I drank the last of it.
Getting up, I realized that my hoodie, while still baggy, was now draped over my considerably rounder belly. It felt almost like my belly had made the sweater into a tent.
Anyway, I made it back to the hotel, and spent the rest of the night taking care of my very tight, sore tummy. The dairy did a real number on me, along with enough food for three people. Idk what it is about diner stuffings, but they just hit different 🤤
Figured I would share my own trans time line even though it's scary as a new person to tumblr. I am so very happy now since I started transition. Stay silly.
