maybe it just hits me even harder because they decided gen and ichiro should be complete tools in the following adaptions but ichiro being so genuinely concerned for saku's wellbeing fucks me up so hard oTL like they're both so cuuuutteeeeeee they're both so touchy they're always holding each other somehow like ichiro wrapping his arms around him when he's sad or scared or saku holding his arms or shoulder when they talk or that one photo on the cafe wall where ichiro's petting his head 😭 or when they were holding hands when saku was telling everybody about kazu like GGFRRWAAWEYUYHGJHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! the anime had its moments though. what the fuck
