there's something just amazing about john gaius being all "i saved the world, but not for me", blatantly riffing off of lord of the rings, which no one will ever call him on, bc he's the only person who remembers lord of the rings. to make matters worse better more, he's not even quoting the book. he's quoting the movie. so lame, you think, and then you remember where the movies were filmed and about the hobbit tax and the māori stuntpeople who only ever got to play "evil ugly" orcs and easterlings and all of that and oh boy it's all connected here isn't it

but it also is unambiguously hilarious of him to compare himself to frodo. it's like if frodo set out to destroy sauron but orcs kept trying to arrest the fellowship and call him a charlatan on the middle earth news or whatever and also halfway through he gets hit up by gondor and they tell him that denethor just died and they need him to use the ring to reanimate his corpse and he just does it. and in the end frodo loses it and destroys all of middle earth except sauron who runs away on a spaceship

Wait so after all the John flashbacks when does Harrow realize that John Gaius ascended into godhood at the sacrifice of 10 billion people and an immortal (it’s the fucking planet man it’s 4.5 billion years older and only getting older) and then consumed its soul as the cherry on the divine necropie yeah?

And Harrow herself was born from the sacrifice of 200 people and achieved lyctorhood at the death of a immortal being (Gideon can regenerate and came back at least a dozen or more deaths making her nigh-immortal if not immortal until proven otherwise, by the time she impaled herself) 

like we get it--Harrow is meant to mirror Jod but like I think she's going all the way like she did necromancy in the river THE FIRST TIME SHE WAS EVER IN THE RIVER AND SHE WAS A TEENAGER

Harrow’s even more of a baby god than the lyctors. Like the lectors are demigods, but Harrow really is a baby god.

We’ve seen through Corona that when people from the Houses join Blood of Eden, they receive a new Edenite name. We aren’t told who gave her the name Crown Him with Many Crowns in NTN, but I believe that we will find out that it was Pash. It makes sense if we think about which biblical figure Pash correlates to: John the Baptist. In baptism, a person is christened with a name, just like Corona was christened Crown. But John the Baptist is called the Baptist not just for baptizing the average Tom, Dick, and Harry. He also baptized Jesus. And we have a perfectly good lesbian Jesus ready in the wings to ask to be baptized.

This is why I believe that Gideon/Kiriona will join BoE and Pash will give her a new name.
