Something had me thinking a lot about Breath of Fire V/Dragon Quarter, so I ended up drawing Ryu and Bosch today.

Well, I sketched it out the other day, did the lines mostly last night, and then colored it today, haha.

...I replayed the final boss a whole lot because it was fun to watch the ending, back when I was younger. Between that and having the art book and the soundtrack to the game, BOFV is very firmly engraved into my memories. OwO

Ordinary life on your level, doing day to day mission, fall down to the depths , find an ancient remenent and have to help each other reach the surface, which was long ago sealed due to contamination, meet up with the Rebel alliance and work together to defeat / escape the higher ups who are just controling the underground for their own benefit, and eventually, the one with all the knowledge and anicent lore etc, does a final sacrifice to allow the innocent who cannot speak to escape to the green world above, and never seeing it yourself
