Teaching myself audio editing for reasons and I am enjoying it way more than I thought I would. It's like kind of relaxing and meditative tbh...
#ramblings of an arrow#probably good for me to have a hobby that isn't art#sadly it's still like... at a screen.... which.... it's fine#Batty would like for me to get a hobby that doesn't involve a screen and like ok I am WORKING ON IT#simply... hard to do....#have you considered audacity is free and doesn't make a mess and I don't have to clean anything up#anyways I'm having a great time#being silly goofy with it#have we considered: funniest and best idea ever#big theme of the campaign is the evils of capitalism and corporate monopolies#how fucking funny would it be to have fake ad reads for different fake sci-fi fantasy corporations#in the middle of 'episodes'#personally *I* think it's a great idea#and fuckin' hilarious#anyways this is mostly just for me#littol side skill am teaching myself#and if I get good enough at it perhaps it's something I'll be able to add to a resume#tbh that could be a fun job......#podcast editor....#perhaps#it's just kinda relaxing meticulously going through and cutting all the unnecessary pauses#and umms#and unneeded 'likes' and other filler words#and I can cut out my own stutters which is nice#not that there's anything wrong w/ stuttering#simply it's way more listenable if I cut them out#also ok look like not to brag or anything but like#I am not a half-bad amateur voice actor tbh.....#there are parts where I might.... rerecord some of the things I've said and edit better versions in#mostly for practice learning how to use this
