Story: 2/5 - Though it tries to do something inventive by blending horror with wartime tension, its meandering middle and rushed ending prevent its ideas from being fleshed out.
Performances: 3/5 - Serviceable. Parker is lively and likable.
Cinematography: 2.5/5 - Fine, but hardly creative.
Editing: 3/5
Music: 2.5/5 - Cliche, though mostly fitting.
Choreography & Stunts - 3.5/5: Its climactic fight scene is pretty solid, with a convincing stair fall.
Effects & Props: 2.5/5 - Not much creativity was implemented to counteract the film's low budget. The fog is passable, though.
Sets: 3/5 - Limited and a bit generic.
Costumes, Hair, & Make-Up: 3/5 - Considering its budget, the scarring make-up is quite decent.
Comedy rarely ages well, and there is stuff in there that doesn't work anymore or is just plain incomprehensible out of its original context, but there's still some bits that are quite funny, and it's blissfully light on Stooge-based shenanigans. Not bad for a nearly 100 year old movie.
