Aastha Vidya Mandir students exhibit Artificial Intelligence - Viksit Bharat that first time for Dantewada

▪️District Level Exhibition was organized on National Science Day by the District Administration and ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India.

National Science Day was celebrated through organising the District Level Science Exhibition by District Administration and School Education Department of Dantewada in collaboration with ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India Limited Kirandul in an indoor stadium.

Under the National Invention Campaign, a quiz competition was also organized by Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan and School Education Department, Dantewada, Government of Chhattisgarh.

For the first time in Dantewada district, a unique and innovative project on the topic Artificial Intelligence - Viksit Bharat was seen, whose exhibition was given by the young scientists of Aastha Vidya Mandir English Medium School Jawanga under the innovative thinking and guidance of lecturer Amujuri Biswanath. Class 11th students Sagar Bhaskar, Vibhor Jain, Manoj Mandvi and Kartik Markam gave an excellent presentation of 3D printing working model using Artificial Intelligence technology.

Similarly, an exhibition of Integrated Soil Testing, Fertilizing cum Watering Machine working model was presented by 9th class students Harsha Jha, Amanprasad Bhuarya, Rainoraj Markam, Kush Kunjam and Ishant Tati. This innovation became an attractive center for the visitors to see the exhibition.

Academician Amujuri Biswanath said that Artificial Intelligence - Viksit Bharat technology exhibition was shown for the first time in Dantewada district. Aastha Vidya Mandir English Medium School is the only residential school in the entire Chhattisgarh where 3D printing machine and lathe machine are available, which benefits the students in skill development and learning livelihood related works. Students learn and become perfect only through practical experiments. Organic fertilizers are used in Dantewada district, in such a situation use of Integrated Soil Testing, Fertilizing cum Watering Machine related to agriculture is very beneficial. On this occasion, the chief guest, special guests, public representatives, Collector Mayank Chaturvedi, District Panchayat CEO Kumar Bishwaranjan, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Revenue Jayant Nahata, District Education Officer Raj Kumar Kathoute, District Mission Coordinator Shyamlal Sori, Assistant Director Ahilya Thakur, ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India Limited Kirandul General Manager Prashant ji, Assistant Manager Dr. Tejprakash and other officers observed and praised the model of young scientists of Aastha Vidya Mandir and congratulated them.

While the human toll of the disease has been immense, journalists like Gaur are not just covering the tragedy of the situation. They’re also fighting for transparency and accountability from a government that has tried to clamp down on criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his handling of the pandemic. As the crisis unfolded, Modi was initially slammed by the international press for not doing enough to prevent the catastrophe, and for downplaying the number of fatalities. In Modi’s home state of Gujarat, three of the top local language newspapers — Sandesh, Divya Bhaskar and Gujarat Samachar — have consistently questioned the official statistics on the second wave through their coverage. Divya Bhaskar reported in mid-May that nearly 124,000 death certificates had been issued in the prior 71 days in Gujarat, about 66,000 more than during the same period last year. The state government reported that only 4,218 were related to Covid. Most recent deaths have been attributed to underlying conditions or co-morbidities, Divya Bhaskar said, citing doctors and families of victims. The newspaper said its journalists dug out the data by going to districts and municipal corporations. Similarly, Sandesh, a Gujarati newspaper that dates back nearly a century, has been sending its reporters to mortuaries, hospitals and crematoriums to count the dead so the paper can publish daily figures. And, on May 9, the Gujarat Samachar newspaper criticized a decision by the Modi government to press ahead with a planned $2.8 billion renovation of Parliament, with the headline: “Even as people are fighting life-and-death situations, public servant becomes dictator.” Have Indian media owners really become bolder? This type of accountability reporting hasn’t been the norm at many leading Indian media outlets for the past few years. But it is hard to sell the government’s narrative to readers as Covid-19 cases continue to rise uncontrollably across the country. “The pandemic concerns 99% of the population. They [media owners] are also shrewd businessmen and they know that toeing the government line at this point makes no sense,” said Mahesh Langa, a Gujarat-based journalist with the English language The Hindu newspaper, which has also written about the large-scale of under-reporting of deaths in the state. But pushing back on Modi may also be bad business for newspapers, as government ads are a major source of revenue, especially as the pandemic-related economic slowdown has hit other advertisers hard. And while firewalls exist to isolate business interests from the editorial operations, those barriers can sometimes come under pressure during troubled times. Prominent Indian media groups also have interests in other industries, according to a report by Reporters Without Borders, which said most of the leading companies are owned by “large conglomerates that are still controlled by the founding families and that invest in a vast array of industries other than media.” For example, the family that owns the Dainik Bhaskar Group also has businesses in sectors ranging from real estate to power. Reliance Industries, the conglomerate headed by Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, owns Network 18, which includes the CNN-News18 TV channel, a CNN affiliate. Promoters of many TV channels and newspapers need to stay in the good books of the ruling party, said Sekhri of Newslaundry. They “tread on eggshells” when it comes to the government because they need favorable regulatory policies for their various businesses, which can range from telecom to oil, he said. However, it is becoming increasingly difficult for many media platforms to be servile when there is mounting public anger against Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party, Sekhri added. “They realize their reporters will get beaten up if they go on the streets,” and not report the truth, he said. But telling the truth can get journalists in trouble. “India is one of the world’s most dangerous countries for journalists trying to do their job properly,” according to Reporters Without Borders, which ranks the nation 142 out of 180 regions on its World Press Freedom Index. “In the last decade, 154 journalists in India were arrested, detained, interrogated or served show cause notices for their professional work,” according to an analysis by Free Speech Collective. “Sixty-seven of these were recorded in 2020 alone.” There’s also the mental toll that doing such reporting takes. “If you are not mentally strong, you will not be able to stand the scenes that unfold in the field,” said Dhaval Bharwad, deputy chief photographer for Divya Bhaskar, which is also owned by the Dainik Bhaskar Group. Despite the challenges, many Indian journalists appear ready to continue trying to get to the truth. In the capital, Delhi, the magazine Outlook India created a stir on Twitter last week, when it used the cover of its new issue to criticize the government for inaction, styling it in the form of a missing persons poster. “This is not an act of bravery on our part,” Ruben Banerjee, the editor-in-chief of Outlook, told CNN Business. “We are just objectively reporting. कांग्रेस के सामाजिक समीकरण का फार्मूला धूल में मिल गया और नतीजतन बिहार में फूल खिल गया। भाजपा बढ़ती जा रही है और कांग्रेस बिहार में 70 सीटों पर लड़कर भी सिर्फ 19 पर जीत हासिल कर पाई। कांग्रेस ने इस विधानसभा चुनाव में टिकट बंटवारे में जो कुछ किया उस पर पार्टी के अंदर ही चौतरफा सवाल उठ रहे हैं। सदाकत आश्र�� में 'कांग्रेस बचाओ, दलाल भगाओ' का नारा गूंज रहा है।

बड़े नेताओं पर लग रहे आरोप

कांग्रेस के चुनाव प्रभारी शक्ति सिंह गोहिल, कैंपेनिंग कमेटी के अध्यक्ष अखिलेश सिंह, वरिष्ठ नेता सदानंद सिंह और पार्टी के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष मदन मोहन झा पर आरोप लगाए जा रहे हैं। कांग्रेस ने बिहार कांग्रेस विधायक दल का नेता अजीत शर्मा को बना दिया। वे भूमिहार जाति से आते हैं। प्रदेश अध्यक्ष मदन मोहन झा ब्राह्मण हैं। कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष समीर सिंह राजपूत जाति से हैं। इन्हें एमएलसी भी बनाया गया। कैंपेनिंग कमेटी के अध्यक्ष अखिलेश सिंह भूमिहार जाति से हैं। पार्टी उन्हें राज्यसभा भेज चुकी है। अगड़ी जाति पर कांग्रेस की मेहरबानी इतनी कि प्रेमचंद मिश्रा को भी एमएलसी बना चुकी है।

सामान्य 56 सीटों में से 33 अगड़ी जात वालों को मिला था टिकट

अब बिहार चुनाव की बात करें तो 11 भूमिहार, 9 राजपूत, 9 ब्राह्मण और 4 कायस्थ को टिकट दिया गया था। दूसरी तरफ एक टिकट अति पिछड़ी जाति (कानू) से हरनौत में कुंदन गुप्ता को दिया। कांग्रेस ने कुल 70 सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ा। इसमें 14 सीट रिजर्व थे। अनुसूचित जाति से 13 और अनुसूचित जनजाति से एक सीट थी। यानी अनुसूचित जाति और अनुसूचित जनजाति को छोड़ दें तो बची 56 सीटें। इन 56 सीटों में 33 अगड़ी जाति को टिकट दिए गए। यह सब तब किया गया जब यह जगजाहिर था कि अगड़ी जाति का रुझान भाजपा की ओर है।

अब जब चारों तरफ से पार्टी के अंदर ही टिकट बंटवारे में सामाजिक समीकरणों की अनदेखी और लेन-देन के आरोप लग रहे हैं तो पहली तलवार कांग्रेस प्रदेश अध्यक्ष पर लटकी हुई है। भूमिहार जाति के अजीत शर्मा को विधायक दल का नेता बनाने के बाद प्रदेश अध्यक्ष का हटना तय माना जा रहा है।

क्या कहते हैं अन्य नेता

कांग्रेस के कस्बा विधायक इफाक आलम कहते हैं कि टिकट बंटवारे में कुछ तो गलती हुई ही है। इसकी जिम्मेवारी अध्यक्ष सहित सभी को लेनी चाहिए, उम्मीदवार को भी। जमालपुर से कांग्रेस विधायक डॉ. अजय कुमार सिंह कहते हैं कि मैं तो चुनाव जीत गया, इसलिए मैं कैसे बता सकता हूं कि चयन ठीक नहीं रहा।
