I was looking up old cartoons I used watch as a kid , Like Street Sharks, The Zeta Project, Men in black: the animated series. (the series takes place some time after the first movie.) Godzilla the animated series and Big Guy & Rusty. And then I stumbled on one that I was soo sure was fever dream conceived in the farthest depths of my six year old mind: Cadillacs & Dinosaurs.

[Apparently Cadillacs & Dinosaurs was based off of a comic book series called Xenozoic Tales, Capcom even made a video game as a tie-in with the show but even though it was popular it only had 1 season.]

Does anyone remember that cartoon Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot? It was this weirdly patriotic American cartoon about a boy robot named Rusty acting as a sidekick to this giant military robot called Big Guy, saving the day from robots and aliens and stuff. But unbeknowst to Rusty, Big Guy wasn't a robot, he was a mech piloted by this one soldier friend of his, who had to keep it a secret from Rusty.

So anyway, I googled it, and apparently it was cancelled aftet six episodes, it's remaining 26 being released like years later.

And also it was created as a comic by Frank Fucking Miller. Big Guy apparently cameos in a Sin City comic.
