Chris chan adjacent thing that annoys me:

Nobody ever brings up how the og trolls literally just, groomed a child. Groomed a 13 year old into thinking it was okay to sext a grown ass adult, and then be on THAT video call.

And THEN everyone acts like bluespike was the worst most horrid person in the saga, fucking ignoring every adult who derived so much sadistic joy from fucking with someone, they were willing to put a child in danger.

Like say what u want about Chris, but it took over 15 years of being a lolcow and essentially just going full on cuckoo, for them to commit a sex crime

I've always wondered about Bluespike, honestly. I've heard mixed things as to whether he was really 13 or young but not that young, whether he was nudged into doing what he did by the adults or whether they just didn't stop him (or at least, didn't try to stop him until things were clearly off the rails). I'd love to be a fly on the wall for that whole thing, just to know what really went down.

sure we should take people's ages into account when talking to them but i get really annoyed when people use their age as an excuse to do whatever they want without consequence. theres a difference between "I didn't know any better because i was 14" and "Actually I'm allowed to do this because I'm 14"
