ACC Announces Fall 2016 Dean's and Merit List

Alvin Community College recognized students for making the Fall 2016 Dean’s and Merit Lists during a reception on February 13.

To be eligible for the Dean’s list students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average for 12 or more credit hours in a semester and no course with a grade lower than a C. To be eligible for the Merit List, a student must have 7 – 11 college-level semester hours during a semester with a minimum 3.5 GPA with no F or incomplete. College-level courses exclude credit-by-exam, nontraditional, transfer, or developmental courses.

Lee Shines as Rebels Win Series Over No. 16 Kentucky

For the second time this weekend, junior Kaitlin Lee dominated in a complete game effort, leading No. 24 Ole Miss to a 4-0 shutout over No. 16 Kentucky Sunday afternoon claiming the series.

In her third appearance against the Wildcats (24-8, 5-4 SEC), the JUCO transfer was lights out, allowing only five hits with no walks and a pair of strikeouts. It marked her second complete game of the series, as she improves to 8-4. Behind her, the Rebels’ (24-11, 2-7 SEC) defense was just as efficient, helping turn a double play in the fourth in a key moment in the game.

Offensively, Ole Miss took an early 1-0 lead in the first, and used a big 3-run sixth to add a trio of insurance runs. Sarah Van Schaik, who powered two home runs in Friday’s 7-1 win, picked up an RBI in the first. Kaylee Horton and Elantra Cox added the other RBI in the sixth, while the Rebels tallied nine total hits against UK’s Shannon Smith and Meagan Prince.

Ole Miss kicked its offense into motion early on when Cox reached on a leadoff walk and Kylan Becker singled sharply to left. After a fielders’ choice for the first out, Van Schaik singled to center scoring Becker, putting the Rebels on top 1-0.

Kentucky threatened in the third after a leadoff bunt single, then sacrifice bunt allowed the runner to advance all the way to third. But, Lee worked a big strikeout and a groundout stranding the runner there, keeping the Rebels on top 1-0.

The Wildcats had their biggest chance of the afternoon in the fourth when Alex Martens reached after being hit by a pitch, and Jenny Schaper dropped a bloop single to center putting two on with no outs. But, in the very next at-bat, Breanne Ray lined out to Paige McKinney at short and she turned the double play thwarting any threat from UK.

Kentucky again put pressure on in the fifth after a 1-out double from Bailey Vick and she moved to third on a groundout, but Lee again got Erin Rethlake on a strikeout to strand another runner in scoring position. From there, Lee was in cruise control as she retired the final six Wildcats in order.

The Rebels scored three more in the sixth when Dylinn Stancil got the frame started with a pinch hit single back up the middle, and Courtney Syrett also singled through the left side. Alyssa Gonzalez then delivered a pinch hit single, before Horton reached on a fielders’ choice to second, when everybody was safe scoring Grayce Majam for a 2-0 lead. After a double play to third scored McKinney, Cox singled back up the middle scoring Horton, capping the scoring at four runs for Ole Miss.

Cox finished the game going 1-for-3 with an RBI and a walk, while Kylan Becker again had a solid day at the plate with a 3-for-4 performance and a run scored.

Ole Miss Men’s Tennis Drops Heartbreaker to LSU

The Ole Miss men’s tennis team built a 3-0 lead behind the doubles point and singles wins on courts one and four, but LSU saved match points on court six and rallied for a 4-3 win Sunday at the LSU Tennis Complex.

The match came down to some third sets on several courts. LSU pulled to within 3-2 by winning three-setters on courts five and two, before tying it up on court three by taking a third set tiebreaker. The match hinged on court six, where Grey Hamilton had three match points in the second tiebreaker go away. He led 3-1 in the third set and had game points for 4-1, but LSU rallied and ended up winning the match 4-6, 7-6(8), 6-4 to clinch.

The Rebels started the day winning a close doubles point. Tim Sandkaulen and Filip Kraljevic won 6-3 on court three and then Zvonimir Babic and Ricardo Jorge took court two 7-5 to give Ole Miss the early 1-0 lead.

Things seemed to be going the Rebels’ way when they took five first sets including a dominating 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles from 38th-ranked Gustav Hansson against 56th-ranked Justin Butsch. Fabian Fallert added a 6-3, 6-2 win on court four against Agie Moreno to push the lead to 3-0.

In the one match where LSU won the first set, Kraljevic battled back to get the second, but then LSU’s Julian Saborio won a close third to put the Tigers on the board.

Sandkaulen won a first set tiebreaker, but LSU’s Gabor Csonka came back to take the second 6-3 and then dominated the third 6-0 to make it 3-2 with both remaining matches in the third set.

Jorge won his first 6-4 against Nikola Samardzic at No. 3 singles, but Tiger won the second 6-4. The third would go to a tiebreaker, which Samardzic edged 7-5 to tie the overall score.

Hamilton led 3-1 in the third, when Samuelsson won three straight games to go up 4-3. Hamilton tied it at 4-4, before Samulesson won the final two games to clinch.

School Records, Big Marks Highlight Ole Miss Track & Field Weekend

In what has already been a banner 2017 for the Ole Miss track & field program, the nationally ranked Rebels turned it up another notch at the Pepsi Florida Relays over the weekend.

Competing against a loaded field of the nation’s top college teams and a slew of the world’s top professional athletes, Ole Miss athletes broke two more school records, set 19 outdoor personal bests and recorded some of the nation’s best times and marks this season.

“A lot of good things happened over the three very long days,” head coach Connie Price-Smith said. “We had a lot of season bests, personal bests and got some regional qualifying marks out of the way. It’s good to have a solid second meet with everything going in the right direction.”

The 13th-ranked Rebel men enjoyed especially superb performances from veteran throwers Brian Williams and Dempsey McGuigan and mid-distance standout Craig Engels.

Williams won the discus invite in Gainesville with a spin of 60.95m/200-0, breaking his own school record from last weekend. He ranks No. 2 in the nation in his signature throwing event. The transfer from Iowa Central Community College also had a strong shot put, throwing an outdoor personal-best 18.30m/60-0.5 to place sixth in the invite section with a mark that ranks him among the NCAA’s top 20 this year.

In the hammer throw, McGuigan tossed a season-best 69.45m/227-10 to finish fourth overall and second among collegians in the competition. He ranks third in the NCAA this year.

Engels opened his outdoor season with an 800-meter run of 1:46.96 that ranks him fourth in the NCAA this year. It was just off the 1:46.03 that he ran for a fourth-place finish at last year’s U.S. Olympic Trials.

Other men with standout performances included Derek Gutierrez in the 800 meters (personal-best 3:44.39, No. 6 in school history) and Kevin Conway in the discus (personal-best 53.99m/177-1, No. 4 in school history).

The No. 23 Ole Miss women had a huge weekend, led by the amazing exploits of junior thrower Janeah Stewart.

For the second straight weekend, the junior college transfer from Iowa Central Community College set personal bests in all three of her events with some impressive distances. She broke her own school record in the hammer throw (64.69m/212-3) and had PRs in the discus (56.39m/185-0) and shot put (16.90m/55-5) that both rank No. 2 in school history. She is top 10 in the NCAA in all three events.

“Janeah had an exceptional meet,” Price-Smith said. “Her events were spread out all over the place. She really competed tough and always finds a way to rise to the occasion. It’s nice to see her break the school record and be able to do it when it counts.”

Sophomore Maddie McHugh carried her momentum from a strong indoor season by running an outdoor personal best of 2:07.99 to move up to No. 7 in school history and top 25 in the NCAA this year.

Junior Jolie Carbo ran a speedy 53.44 in the 400 meters to move up to No. 6 in school history and among the top 25 in the NCAA this year.

Carbo also helped the 4×400-meter relay (Jasmin Allen, Carbo, Aisha Newsome, Mercedes Mattix) to a nice showing by qualifying for Saturday’s final and running a season-best time of 3:38.31 that is No. 10 in school history.

“Jolie ran a great 400 and came back and ran a nice relay leg yesterday to qualify and a great one today,” Price-Smith said. “Running the splits she’s running now, she should drop her best time even more.”

Speaking of relays, the Rebels’ 4×100-meter squad of Nicole Henderson, Shannon Ray, Deanna Tate and Breanna Tate clocked a season-best time of 44.80 that ranks them No. 8 in school history.

Junior Shelby Brown made her debut in the 3000-meter steeplechase and ran an impressive time of 10:30.61 that ranks her No. 4 in school history.

Other personal bests in Gainesville included Jeanette Paul in the 100-meter hurdles (13.92, No. 9 in school history) and Annika Larsson in the hammer throw (57.14m/187-6, No. 4 in school history).

“A lot of girls had PRs or very close to PRs. It was a really good all-around meet,” Price-Smith said.

Ole Miss sent five runners to run the 10,000 meters at the Stanford Invitational on Friday.

Coming out on top for the women was junior Anna Braswell, whose personal-best time of 33:47.22 in her first 10K on the track ranks her No. 2 in school history and just eight seconds off the school record.

The only man at Stanford was senior Wesley Gallagher, who ran a time of 29:33.81.

“Our athletes were competing against some of the very best this weekend,” Price-Smith said. “National champions, runners-up and professionals. They have a great outlook though. Their times got better from last week and they’re going in the right direction. I think they have a good sense of reality that they’re getting better regardless of who they’re going against.”

Ole Miss returns to action next weekend at the Tennessee Relays in Knoxville.

Episode 4. Dalton: *He mumbled soft and sat up slowly, looking around a bit confused* where did they go? Alex: ...... uhhhh Wyatt: They had to go home *he smiled friendly as he quickly stepped forwards and reached a hand to Dalton* Let me help you up Dalton: *He hesitated a bit, then grabbed Wyatt's hand and dragged himself up* Thanks *his voice sounded tired and he looked just as tired as he sounded* Who.... who are you guys? Alex: Friends? *he smiled friendly* we were at the show, and on my way home I found you here in the alley, you were pretty far gone. I think your band members left? Is there anywhere you can sleep for the night or? Dalton: *He frowned soft and pressed a hand against his temple, trying his best to keep up with it all* Uhhhh wait... I don't... they left? Travis: Yeah, with the bus... Dalton: ....... fuck Alex: *He tried to smile as friendly and inviting as possible* Well I'm Alex, and this is Wyatt and Travis.. you can crash at my place, if you want, we were just about to get a cab out of here anyway... I have a guest room with private bath... Dalton: *He looked a bit suspicious at the 3 of them* Alex: .... food.. water... it's much safer than a cold alley... and it's only a very short cab ride away... Dalton: ...... how short? Alex: A couple of minutes.... Dalton: *He sighed soft and nodded* yeah... okay... Alex was it? Alex: Yeah *he smiled soft* Dalton: *He slowly reached a hand towards Alex* Dalton.

Raven: What happened back there? *He looked at Andy with a curious frown as they were back in their hideaway*

Andy: Nothing? *he shook his head lightly* it doesn't matter...

Raven: It looked like it mattered....

Andy: *He sighed deep* Maybe it did? But I can't concentrate on that right now. At the moment, what matters the most, is that you are safe and here *he smiled soft* anything else has to wait for another time.

Adrian: Where are you taking me? *he looked at Sam through narrowed suspicious eyes*

Sam: Does it matter, as long as we get the privacy you want?

Adrian: I have a feeling I'm about to regret this?

Sam: *He chuckled soft* Probably...

Adrian: *He sighed deep* Fine, whatever, as long as I get some privacy with you.... and no sisters to stick their heads in an interrupt *a low rumbling from inside him slowly escaped*

Sam: *He chuckled soft* No sisters where the portal will take us, I promise....

Adrian: *He nodded soft* Good, that's a start at least *he grunted soft*

Sam: Can you walk through the portal?

Adrian: What are the other options? *he snorted cynically*

Sam: Well... I could carry you *he smiled rather amused*

Adrian: *He glared soft* I'll walk, thank you...

Sam: *He chuckled warmly and offered a hand to Adrian* something to hold onto?

Adrian: *He hesitated for just a second, then grabbed Sam's hand, holding it tight, but didn't say a word*

Sam: *He tried his best to keep his excitement inside, then took a step forwards to the portal* Let's go!

Adrian: *On the other side of the portal, he looked around a bit, questioning where they had landed themselves*

Sam: We're in Romania *he said in a lowered, careful voice*

Adrian: ....... *he sighed soft* so the clinic.... why do I feel like this is an ambush, Sam? *he let go of Sam's hand and took a rather painful step backwards*

Sam: *He frowned soft at Adrian's missing hand in his* It's not... and it's not the clinic... yes, we are technically close, we are on the land that belongs to the clinic, but that land is pretty vast, and we wont run in to anyone, unless we want to. We're safe here, and no one will bother us... and I was thinking *he looked at the forest surrounding them* once dawn sets in, we could take a look at our surroundings... it's very peaceful and full of lush nature... I think you would like it here... *He sighed soft* Look I am not recruiting you or anything like that, but you have to take a look at it sooner or later, so I thought we might as well get it over with? *he smiled a bit apologizing* I'm sorry.... I should have asked you first...

Adrian: Yes... and the answer would have been no *he took a deep slow breath* but I also get why you did it... and since we're here... I guess... I will give it a shot.... for you *he sighed soft* but if I hate it, I'm leaving.

Sam: *He smiled soft* We're both leaving then, and you will never have to come back, I promise.

Adrian: *He looked a bit suspicious at Sam* no more surprises....

Sam: *He nodded soft* No more surprises.

Adrian: *He grunted soft from pain* Where do we go then? *he looked at the surrounding nature*

Sam: Well, you can't really see it from where we stand, but there's a hidden cabin just over here... can you make it by foot? It's about a minute or two by foot in your current tempo... just below this hill we stand on...

Adrian: Can I just lay down and roll?

Sam: *He chuckled warmly* Well... yeah... but the offer of getting carried also still stands *he smirked teasingly*

Adrian: *He rolled his eyes* I'll walk

Sam: *He hesitated a bit, wanting to offer his hand again, but wasn't sure he could handle a rejection again*

Adrian: *He hesitated a bit as well, then grabbed Sam's hand, squeezing it gently* You lead the way...

Sam: *He smiled soft and nodded* Straight ahead...

Adrian: *He nodded soft and slowly took a step, grunting soft from pain*

Sam: I hate this... seeing you in pain...*he sighed soft and squeezed Adrian's hand, gazing at him, his eyes full of love*

Adrian: *And in that moment, he could swear he felt his heart take an extra beat*

Alex: We're here *he smiled soft at Dalton sitting on the backseat of the cab* If you still wanna come in? Or I can take you to a hotel?

Dalton: I don't have any money on me....

Alex: I'll pay

Dalton: You don't have to *he frowned rather uncomfortable*

Alex:..... it wouldn't be an issue. And they would have a phone so you can call your band, maybe they could come pick you up?

Dalton: *He looked out the window, starring rather blank at the house next to the parked car, trying to decide if he trusted the stranger or not*

Alex: If you're uncomfortable with this, perhaps it's best I at least drop you off somewhere public, warm and safe?

Dalton: *The thought of spending a night god knows where wasn't appealing either, so as the by now impatient cab driver started drumming his fingers against the steering wheel, he made a quick decision* You have a spare room?

Alex: With it's own bathroom and a lock on the door, you don't have to spend time with me at all, and if you lock the door, I can't even bother you.... *he smiled as friendly as possible* it's just me and my cats

Dalton: You have cats?

Alex: Yes, you're not allergic, are you?

Dalton: No, I have a cat too... Banana

Alex: *His face lit up* Really? That's great!

Cab driver: Really great *he mumbled irritated*

Dalton: *He snorted soft, still somewhat drunk* Yeah, okay... I think we better get out

Alex: *He chuckled soft* Yes, that's probably a good idea, let me just pay...

Adrian: *As they walked through the door of the small cabin, he couldn't help but wrap his arms around Sam and kiss him passionately*

Sam: *He moaned soft and welcoming, quickly fumbling to turn on a small light so they wouldn't stumble in the dark* I love you *he whispered against Adrian's lips*

Adrian: I.... want you....

Sam: *He chuckled soft between kisses* I want you too.

Alex: *As he had locked them into the house, he smiled warmly at Dalton* This is obviously the kitchen, take whatever you need, nothing is off limit... if you follow me upstairs, I'll quickly show you to the guest room *he gestured gently in front of him*

Dalton: *He nodded soft, but was nervously tucking at his sleeve* Yeah...

Alex: *He nodded once and confirming, then led Dalton to the stairs and up to the second floor* The only room at ground floor is the kitchen... up here I have my living room, it's just through here, there's a big bathroom as well... Over there *he gestured at a door* is my bedroom and private bath... in here *he gently pushed a door open* is the guest room... It's not too fancy, but there's a comfortable bed to sleep in and a clean bathroom *he smiled soft* There's towels in the dresser at the foot end of the bed, the sheets are clean, and there's a laptop in case you want to contact someone... and most of all there's a key in the door, and it's the only one, I don't have a spare, so if you find the whole situation creepy, feel free to lock the door, I wont disturb you unless there's a fire or something like that *he smiled soft* I promise you are perfectly safe here, Dalton.... I'm not some old pervert, despite the hair and beard *he gestured at his gray hair* It's dyed *he sighed soft* although after the evening I have had, I guess I might as well just dye it back to it's usual dark brown*he chuckled soft*

Dalton: *He squinted his eyes questioning*

Alex: Don't worry about it, just a failed date...

Dalton: .......

Alex: ..... this... this isn't the date I am referring to, just to be clear...

Dalton: ..... I didn't think it was? *he pulled his shirt a bit awkward*

Alex: Yeah... sorry... I'm not used to people being uncomfortable in my company, I guess it makes me nervous?

Dalton: ...... I'm always uncomfortable

Alex: *He chuckled soft and warm* alright, I'll get out of your hair, I'll bring a tray up with something to drink and eat, and otherwise I'll get out of your way. I'll probably go hang in the living room for a while with a glass of red before bed.

Dalton: *He nodded soft, clearly not knowing how to respond to it*

Alex: right... I'll knock the door and just leave the food out here

Dalton: *He nodded soft* ..... thank you... Alex.

Alex: *He smiled soft* No problem, Dalton. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raven: *His eyes turned blood red, as he allowed his claws to sink into his victims neck, observing his father beneath him, as if he was nothing but a prey and he himself nothing but a predator, devoid of any emotion* Are we done?

Andy: *He sat whimpering in a corner*

Bree: Bran!

Raven: I said, are we done? *he snarled at his father*

Roy: I thought you were just getting started?

Raven: I'm gonna fucking kill you!

Roy: In front of yerr mother?

Raven: I don't give a shit!

Roy: Nah, you never did care much aboyt anyone else but yeself, an that's why yerr always starting some sort of trouble, as a matter of fact, while yeh were gon, yeh mum and ah had this conversation, that life would 'ave been a lot easier, had yeh never been born...

Bree: ROY!

Roy: As a matter of fact, ah shed probably just of taken care of it mehself when I found out she was pregnant with yeh. We wanted a girl anyway, we alrady had two perfect boys!

Ronan: That's enough!

Roy: Oh come on, weh'ave all been thinking it at some point, Brandubh always gets in trouble, an then all the family has to throw everything in their hands to make it all better again, it's always been that way, one letdown after-

Bree: THAT'S ENOUGH ALROY!!!

Raven: *A loud agonizing roar escaped him as he slashed his claws through his fathers chest and blood splattered everwhere*

Roy: *In a quick move he was on top of Raven, and now he was the one with his hand on his son's throat* I might as well just end the family disappointment here!

Ronan: DAD!!!!

Bree: ALROY!!!!!

Raven: *He looked at his dad with teary eyes* do me the fucking favor!

Andy: NO!!! *He threw himself on the floor next to them, somehow managing to shield Raven with most of his upper body* Fucking stop! *He whispered soft between his sobs* both of you!

Bree: ALROY!!! DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE, IT WILL BE THE END OF US ALL!

Ronan: DAD!!! *He stood next to them, placing a hand on his dad's shoulder* One move from you....

Roy: what yerr going to do son? *he looked up at Ronan with a wide grin*

Ronan: *He looked at his dad with an authorial frown*

Eonan: Nothing I haven't already done *he said, as he suddenly stood behind his dad, and leaned over, pressing a finger against the back of his father's neck, and in an instant the man fell limp over Andy's back* I'll take him to Belphegor *he said in a firm voice as he looked at Ronan, knowing the only right thing was for Roy to face the head of the family*

Ronan: *He nodded confirming*

Eonan: *He looked at Bree, and forced a soft smile* I'm sorry

Bree: Not I, get him out of meh face! *she said with an angry frown*

Raven: *A loud hollow sobbing escaped him as Eonan disappeared with Roy, and the weight on top of him was suddenly only Andy's*

Bree: Oh mah sweethearrrt!

Ronan: Mom, I'm sorry, but not now, please.

Bree: *She frowned and was just about to protest, but instead turned around and headed into the kitchen*

Ronan: *He kneeled down next to the two boys on the floor, stroking his brother's hair* Raven *he spoke in a soft, loving voice* Those words he said are not true, I hope you know that? We all love you very much...

Raven: *He nodded soft, but the tears in his eyes spoke the truth, for in this moment, he couldn't believe any sweet words at all. I'm sorry *was all he managed to say, before he disappeared*

Andy: *He curled up in a sobbing ball on the floor as Raven was gone*

Ronan: Andy *he sighed soft as he stroke the blue haired boy's back* It's okay... he's home in his room... right now everything is just very overwhelming for him, we need to give him a bit of time. Usually when he's in that mood, the only ones that can get near him are Eonan and I, so try not to take it personal.

Andy: I'm not! I'm just scared he's going to disappear again!

Ronan: No *he spoke in a calm voice*

Andy: How can you be so sure?!

Ronan: If he was making a run for it, he would be gone already.

Andy: How do you know he's home? *he sat up, looking suspicious at Ronan as he tried to dry his eyes* You're not the tracker

Ronan: That doesn't mean I can't sense him and his feelings if he lets me. *He sighed soft* How about I bring you and mom home to our place, and then we wait for him to tell us when he has some space for us again?

Andy: *He sniffled his nose and nodded soft* I would like that, please...

Ronan: *He nodded soft and reached a hand to Andy* Let's go get mom then, Eonan can meet us back at home when he's done.

Alex: *As he was done in the kitchen, he carried the tray to Dalton's door, leaving it outside, before gently knocking the door, then he carried his own glass of red wine and his bowl of mixed cheesy nuts and grapes to the living room, and sat down in front of the tv, turning it on before sipping the wine, as he put his feet up*

Dalton: *He slowly opened the door and peeked out, noticing the tray right away. There were a plate with a sandwich, ham and cheese as far as he could see, two water bottles, a bag of chips, a coke, a chocolate bar, and an apple. He smiled soft and picked up the tray, carrying it into the room and placed it on the bed. He starred at it for a moment, then sat down and started devouring it, as if he hadn't eaten for days*

Raven: *He sat quiet on his bed as someone knocked the door to his room. He didn't answer, he already knew who was coming*

Ronan: May I come in?

Raven: You're going to anyway *he sighed soft*

Ronan: *He forced a soft smile and stepped in, closing the heavy wooden door behind himself* Aye... I think you need to see a friendly face *he slowly walked up to the big bed, and sat down on the edge of it* How are you holding up?

Raven: I'm done crying if that's what you want to hear? *he said with a tired blank look on his face* I'm just... done

Ronan: *He sighed soft and reached towards his little brother, stroking his hair gently*

Raven: Don't do that *he almost sighed in a trance-like voice*

Ronan: Don't do what?

Raven: You know exactly what you are doing *he said in an almost purring tone* how's Andy?

Ronan: In the kitchen with mom and Eonan, eating the world's largest bowl of ice cream *he chuckled soft as he continuously stroke Raven's hair*

Raven: *He moaned soft, feeling his body relax and get really heavy, buzzing tingling sensations spreading through it* Roe...

Ronan: Mh? *he knew exactly what he was doing to his little brother, and he knew he needed it, so he slowly pulled himself up in the bed, so they sat side by side, and wrapped an arm around Raven's shoulders, continuing to stroke his hair to soothe him*

Raven: *He moaned soft and leaned against his brother, burying his face in his armpit for a moment*..... you're... sweaty...

Ronan: Mh... I guess the thought of losing my little brother makes me break some sweat?

Raven: *He took a big sniff of Ronan's armpit before he turned his body a bit, wrapped his arms around Ronan and let himself slide down, face planting into Ronan's crotch*

Ronan: *He chuckled soft, and let his hand travel down Raven's back, stroking him firmly* Don't choke yourself down there...

Raven: *He mumbled something against Ronan's crotch*

Ronan: I have no idea what you just said?

Raven: *A soft chuckle escaped him, before he reached up, grabbed Ronan's shirt and strongly dragged him into bed, then moved around a bit, till they laid face to face* I said, can we just cuddle tonight? As much as you are making me majorly horny, and I appreciate you knowing exactly what I need and what buttons to push, I honestly right now, more than anything else, just need to feel safe.

Ronan: *He nodded soft and smiled, as he reached out stroking Raven's cheek* Whatever you need.

Raven: *He nodded soft and fumbled around, trying to take his clothes off*

Ronan: I thought you just said no sex?

Raven: I didn't say NO sex *he chuckled soft* I simply asked if we could cuddle instead, cause right now it seems more important to me, to be intimate that way.. besides, you know I sleep naked.... and I feel closer to you if.... we're both naked *he smirked soft*

Ronan: *He couldn't help but laugh, then slowly started unbuttoning his shirt* Aye.. I can take a hint.

Raven: *His smirk grew bigger, and for the first time in as long as Ronan could remember, he finally saw a spark of life in his brothers eyes again*

Chapter 21 - Thanks, Dr. Phil.

Episode 3. *At a small forest hut, somewhere in the Canadian mountains* Raven: *He kept holding Andy tight until his crying started slowing down* Andy: You scared me! Raven: *He sighed deep* I'm sorry. Andy: Are you staying? Raven: *He sighed even deeper* I can stay for the night, but that's it. I will get tracked by my clan if I stay any longer. Andy: *He sniffled his nose and pulled a bit away from Raven* When are you gonna stop this running and come back home? Raven: ... I don't know Andy? *he looked at him with apologetic eye* I'm sorry, but it's complicated. Andy: *He sniffled his nose again, trying to dry his eyes* Pete is worried, even if he tries not to show, and he asks about you all the time. Ben does too.... I think it's pretty stupid if you keep staying away cause you think they don't want you. Raven: Asking is not the same as wanting to be with someone, Andy. *He sighed soft* However, I'm not so sure it's only that by now. It's hard to explain... Andy: *He sighed soft* Why don't you try to talk to me like you used to? Or am I one of the bad guys as well now? Raven: *He sighed soft* No one is a bad guy, but me.

Andy: You know what, cut the crap *he frowned deep* I just... can we both put our self pity aside for a while and just try to fucking talk? *he suddenly took a look at their surroundings, they appeared to be in an old wooden log hut, judging by the howling wind outside they were somewhere cold* w Where the fuck are we even?

Raven: *He sighed soft and kicked his boots off* a safe-house... but that doesn't mean I can stay more than 12-15 hours, they will track me. I'm sorry, I just need more time *he looked at Andy with sad eyes*

Andy: *He sighed deep* Okay, fine. But can we please sit down and try to... I dunno man... Raven... *he sighed again* please talk to me. I'm fucking terrified you're just gonna take off again and I wont see you for months, or know if you are dead or alive! You know *he said with a cracking voice* I get you... I completely get you why you felt and feel like running away from it all. But if you are still doubting THEIR love, at least... consider to stay for the people who you are sure love you *he sniffled his nose as tears gathered in his eyes again* please consider that I know what you were going through, and maybe I was just as scared and lost as you were? And maybe I also tried what I thought was best to keep him alive. We all did. And I know it's easy to just 'move on' cause now things are 'better' than they were when we were right in the eye of the storm. But that doesn't mean it didn't leave very deep scars on us. It doesn't mean that it doesn't all come crashing over us in the middle of the night when we are alone with our thoughts. Or when we are taking 2 minutes to relax in the shower. It doesn't mean it wasn't another trauma on the trauma pole. It's not something that just goes away because he isn't actively seeking to kill himself any longer. It never goes away. I still wake up some nights, checking if he has been online, left a trace of life somewhere. I still panic when I wake up in the morning and there's no good morning from him. I still fear the worst every time his mood is gloomy, trying to look for signs that he's about to leave again. As if I know it's just a matter of time that he figures he no longer cares enough to stay anyway *his voice broke again* and I know it's on Adrian's mind as well. I see it every time I mention Ben's name. The fear, the worry, the sadness. But we don't ever speak about it... he keeps it to himself, and lets me talk, all I get in return are annoyed grunts or him changing the subject. And all I get in return from you, is you running away! We were all 3 in it... whether we liked it or not. Why can't we sit down and try to work through it? Please?! I don't want to lose you too!... again! Please!! *he started sobbing hard, barely able to stand on his legs* I love you so much! *he coughed hard from sobbing* I can't lose you too! Please! I fucking beg you, Raven! Please! *He coughed again, this time much more violently as he felt he was about to puke, quickly running towards a door, he hoped would lead to the outside world, relieved as he ripped it open and saw it was indeed to the outdoors, shocked as he saw they were located in a forest, covered in snow! But he didn't have time to react or question as he fell to his knees and puked in the snow*

Raven: *His solid foot steps came closer, and he quickly kneeled down next to Andy, placing a hand on his shoulder, letting warmth spread it's way to Andy's body*

Andy: Don't! They will find you...

Raven: ...... let them *he sighed soft and continued to use his healing power to settle Andy's stomach and make him feel better*

Ronan: Raven *his voice was soft but cautious*

Raven: *He sighed deep as he looked up at his brother, standing few meters in front of them* It's fine. I'm not running.

Eonan: *He stepped out of nothing next to Raven* Good, cause I'm tired of chasing you. *He forced a soft smile* What do we do with you now?

Andy: *He moaned soft as he came*

Raven: *He sighed soft and squeezed Andy's shoulder gently, but kept looking at his brothers* I wont run anymore, but I also can't deal with the others yet....

Ronan: *He nodded soft* Fair enough.

Eonan: They are not far behind. So we better get out of here then.

Ronan: *He nodded confirming*

Bree: Not without me!

Raven: *He flinched as he heard her voice*

Bree: *She placed a hand on his shoulder, stroking it soft* Andy, grab onto me boi an ah will take us somewhere safe!

Raven: *He smiled soft and nodded at Andy* It's gonna be fine, I promise.

Andy: *He nodded soft and quickly leaned in, wrapping his arms around Raven, then they were gone*

Adrian: *As he slowly drove down the small hill to his house, to park Andy's car, he already noticed him, sitting in his garden, on the hood of his black GTO. He sighed soft and slowly let the car roll the rest of the way on it's own, parking it just outside the gate. Then he slowly got out, and walked through the gate, all the way up to him, stopping right in front of him* What are you doing here? *He spoke in a lowered deep voice*

Sam: I'm sorry, I shouldn't be here *he made a move to jump off the hood*

Adrian: Sammmmhhh *his voice rumbled low as he planted a hand on each side of Sam's thighs, pressing his palms tight against the hood of the car* I think that's up to me to decide, since this is my lot, isn't it?

Adrian: I simply asked WHY you are here....

Sam: *He sighed soft* I don't know? I.... missed you... I didn't think you would come home and find me-

Adrian: Stalking me? *he lifted an eyebrow*

Sam: *He chuckled soft* Right. I'm sorry, I'll leave...

Adrian: *He shrugged lightly* My date left with Raven, so I'm free as can be, since my other boyfriend refuses to pick up his phone. I called him 3 times on the way over here, nothing. So I guess it's best to leave him to cool down before I give it another try... *he sighed deep*

Sam: What's going on? *he looked towards his dad's car, then back at Adrian* Dad's with Raven?

Adrian: It's a long story, I'm not really in the mood for it, I just came from Sparkle's and the drama over there still has my head rolling

Sam: *He burst out a soft snort* Oh dear!

Adrian: Mmhh *he leaned in, planting a tender kiss on Sam's neck* I need a bath *he mumbled against Sam's skin* I need to just soak for a while

Sam: *He sighed soft from the feeling of Adrian's lips against his skin* Well... there's a bath located not so far from here... and the house is empty....

Adrian: Is that so? *he planted another kiss on Sam's neck, this time a bit more sensual* does that bath come with you in it?

Bree: *He smiled relieved as she stood in front of her son* You'll be safe here, at least for a night.

Raven: *He sighed soft* Mom, you shouldn't be helping me, he's gonna get pissed!

Bree: Yah! *she planted her fists in the sides of her waist* N what yeh think he's gunna do abuwt it? *she snorted soft then reached out tussling Andy's hair* May ah please have a tiny moment with meh wee one?

Andy: *He sighed soft and nodded as he let go of Raven, looking around a bit questioning at the larger room they now stood in, full of modern furniture, looking mostly like something out of a home decor magazine*

Bree: Ets a sayfe 'ouse! *she smiled warmly*

Andy: Yeah that seems to be the only answer I get

Ronan: Andy *he smiled warmly* come with me to the kitchen, I'll answer everything you need

Andy: *He sighed soft, then glared at Raven* Don't you dare leave again!

Raven: *He shook his head lightly* I basically just turned myself in, I'm not going anywhere. I promise.

Andy: *He looked a bit hesitating*

Bree: Go on luv, ah promise he will stay just where he is *she chuckled warmly and winked at Andy*

Andy: *He hesitated a bit more, but then slowly walked towards Ronan*

Ronan: *He quickly wrapped an arm around Andy's shoulders, to try to comfort him* We're still in Canada *he smiled soft* No one will search for us here, they will assume we already fled the country.

Andy: *He sighed soft* Okay... and now what?

Ronan: *He kept slowly leading him towards the kitchen in the other end of the big dining/living/kitchen/study room* Now we get you to the kitchen, get your face washed and get you something to drink

Andy: *He sighed soft* Okay..

*Back in the valley of Hidden Springs someone knocked Sparkle's front door*

Sparkle: *She sighed soft and stood up from her seat on the couch, slowly walking to the door, opening it wide*

Daniel: *He smiled soft* Sup?

Sparkle: *She chuckled soft, relieved to be met with his usual casual approach to life* Sup?

Daniel: *He quickly walked in, giving her a big tight hug, then sniffed a bit in the air* Something is burning?

Sparkle: *She chuckled soft as few tears rolled down her cheeks, relieved he was there* No, well I guess it was. It's fine, it's turned off.

Daniel: So pizza then?

Sparkle: *She chuckled again* Pizza would be perfect, yes.

Andy: *He frowned soft as he looked at Ronan* What's gonna happen to him now?

Ronan: Nothing, I promise.

Andy: But he broke several laws

Ronan: At this point everyone just wants him home. Even our father, although he's still angry, and definitely wont admit he's worried *he forced a soft smile at Andy* Raven will most likely be put on some stricter rules for a while, but other than that, nothing will happen.

Andy: Are you sure?

Ronan: 100% Andy. Our grandfather has ordered it. Anyone who goes against that, would have to deal with him, and no one dares to do that. Trust me. Not even our father would.

Andy: *He took a deep shaky breath* I'm still so fucking terrified he's going to leave again *he sobbed soft as he leaned over the kitchen table, to try to keep himself standing, an overwhelmingly large wave of sadness washing over him* It's not just that I was losing Ben, over and over every single day, desperately trying to hold onto him, but I also lost a very important piece of myself.... and now that he's back *he broke out in a deeper sobbing*

Bree: *She squeezed Raven a little tighter, then let go* Ah think the blue one need yeh *she smiled soft at Raven* Bran... Ah shud warm yeh butt *she chuckled soft* for making yeh ol mum worry so long! *She sighed deep* Go ahead *she nodded in the direction of the kitchen* Ronan and ah will stay, there's a guest room down the hall, we will goe there n set up a protective spell, just in case, so no one can enterrr the house without my permission. We will stay till tomorrow afternoon, then we better relocate. All of us. For that we can't take the blue haired with us. I need teh get us to an underworld location, for when we contact yerr grandfather.

Raven: Am I in trouble? *He looked at his mom a bit worried*

Bree: No, me love. But yerr father is still very angry. So we must set some rules before yeh can surface, which might make him even more angry *she chuckled soft* Let's just say it's best yeh stay under his radar for a while, even if he worries too.

Raven: I find that hard to believe *he frowned soft*

Bree: I know *she smiled warmly and stroke his cheek* But he does, in his own way.

Raven: *He sighed soft and looked towards Andy* I told him I wouldn't run away again, I can't leave so soon.

Bree: Leaving and running is not the same, let me try n talk teh him.

Raven: *He frowned soft*

Bree: Oh come on, yeh don't even trust yer mum anylonger?

Raven: *He sighed soft* yes... yes I do *he forced a soft smile and nodded*

Sam: *He forced a soft smile at Adrian, as he was done filling the bath tub* There you go...

Adrian: *He smiled soft* I thought you were going in with me?

Sam: I uhm... *he scratched the back of his neck nervously* I'll just go grab me a tea, then I will... join you

Adrian: *He looked a bit suspicious at Sam, but said nothing. Instead he slowly got undressed and sank his body into the warm bath, Sam had made, enjoying the smell of the earthy home made bath oils he had dripped in the water*

Sam: *He entered the room few minutes later, sipping a mug of tea as he observed Adrian*

Adrian: *He was by now laying against the edge of the bathtub with his eyes closed* You're staring *he mumbled and opened an eye to look at Sam*

Sam: *He sighed soft and sipped his tea again* It's 1st of December

Adrian: *He looked a bit questioning at him*

Sam: It's past midnight...

Adrian:.... and?

Sam: *He shrugged lightly* I'm worried about Christmas this year. It's really important for dad... and I guess for me as well, since I grew up with big cozy Christmas celebrations. But everything is a huge mess. Nothing is the way it's supposed to. People losing or nearly losing their loved ones. Fights. Break ups. Lost love..... *he hung his head a bit* forbidden love...

Adrian: *He sighed deep and sat up more straight* Will you please come over here?

Sam: There's nothing I want more, but it makes me feel like a terrible person

Adrian: *He frowned soft* Why?

Sam: My dad... Benjamin... you....

Adrian: Me? *He looked at Sam with a confused frown*

Sam: I don't know? It's most likely just a feeling. But it is as if I somehow trapped you in this situation, and now you don't know how to get out of it. And then there's my dad being sad about whatever you and I are doing, and Benjamin too, he wont even pick up your calls.

Adrian: First of, your dad and I had a good talk, and he's very honest when he says he's okay with you and I, as long as he gets to have more time with me while we are a fresh new couple, and now he's off with Raven *he forced a soft half smile* Benjamin isn't picking up, either cause he's busy, or he's angry. Both will pass at some point, I am sure, but if I don't hear from him by tomorrow evening, I will swing by NY. I just like to give him a bit of space first and see if he contacts me when he's had a bit of time for himself. If not, I will of course try to contact him face to face. But please stop feeling guilty towards Ben. I'm the one in a relationship with him. I'm the one who hast to fix things if something isn't right. This isn't your responsibility in any way, neither is it your responsibility to 'be true' to Ben. Ben has agreed to be in a poly relationship, so that's what he got. He knows about you and I, it isn't a secret from him, and he might disagree, but so do I about him and Raven. That doesn't mean I ever told him not to see him. And neither has Ben done with you. He's jealous, yes. I'm sure of it. And I am sure that's why he isn't picking up. But I also hope he remembers I am jealous of Raven too, very much in fact. On top of that he's a demon, and Ben knows very well what I think of demons, even the more "friendly" kind. *he sighed deep* But I never told him not to see him. I actually encouraged it, even when it meant Ben almost completely left me to be with him. I just wanted him to be happy, or the very least, find a reason to stay alive, when I couldn't be. If Ben is not okay with you and I, he has all the rights to pick up his phone and tell me, and we can try to work out some sort of agreement, but he isn't. Until then, there's not much I can do. And no matter what, I’m not stopping seeing you, unless you yourself tell me you want nothing more to do with me. I still can't promise you anything, but I do love you, I do care about you, and I wold like to at the very least see where this maybe could head, if we just... try to date a bit, maybe? *He sighed soft* If you want?

Sam: .......

Adrian: It's Christmas, Sam *he smiled soft* how about some Holiday romance?

Sam: *He burst out a soft chuckle, getting a bit wet eyes* That's awfully romantic, coming from you.

Adrian: I know, that's why I need a bath *he chuckled soft* I feel dirty!

Sam: *He couldn't hold a chuckle back and let it escape*

Adrian: *He sighed relieved from seeing a smile on his Beta's face* Sam, you're too kind. Stop thinking about others for a moment and think about what you want. And just for the record, I'm not half as trapped in this as you think I am. I might not know 'how to get out of it', but who says I want to 'get out of it'? *he smiled soft*

Sam: *He sighed soft and looked a bit hesitating at Adrian*

Adrian: What do you want, Sam?

Sam: ..... Christmas romance?

Adrian: It starts over here then *he pointed at the bath tub water*

Sam: *He chuckled again and took another sip of his tea, then placed the mug next to the sink and slowly undressed* Lina wont be home till tomorrow, she went to visit some friends.

Adrian: *He nodded soft* Useful info

Sam: *He chuckled soft, and shook his head, then suddenly paused as he was about to take his pants off*

Adrian: Change of mind? *he looked a bit disappointed at Sam*

Sam: No... not at all... give me a moment *he quickly took his pants off* just so you know I will be back

Adrian: *He chuckled soft* Good move!

Sam: *He chuckled as well and shook his head as he quickly left the room*

Adrian: *He observed Sam from his spot in the bathroom, the way his hips moved as he walked, not feminine, but elegant. He watched as Sam walked to the kitchen, opened a closet, grabbed a bottle of red wine, and two glasses, then quickly made his way back to the bathroom* Even better move *he said with a slightly cheeky smile*

Sam: *He chuckled soft and opened the wine, poured in both glasses and handed one to Adrian as he walked to the bath tub* Sit still, I'm coming in *he said in a soft voice and nodded for Adrian to spread his legs* make space

Adrian: *He quickly spread his legs and reached a hand to Sam, assisting him into the tub. And as Sam sat down between his legs, he planted a soft kiss on Sam's shoulder* Thank you for joining me...

Sam: *He sighed pleased* Thank you for getting dirty.

Chapter 32 - December days & December ways.

Episode 6. Bree: Brandubh! *She quickly stood up, scooping an arm under his neck, gently raising his head, as she fumbled with her belt* It's gonna be alright! Raven: *He coughed lightly again, fumbling as he grabbed for Adrian's wrist, looking at him with pleading eyes* Adrian: *He looked at Raven with a deep frown, then at Bree* is he going to be okay? Can I help?! Bree: Oh luv, just hold his hand, he will be as good as new in a moment *she finally managed to untie a small flask from her belt, opening it with her teeth, then poured the green liquid into Raven's wound* Hold him! *She quickly pressed her palms against Raven's shoulders* It's gonna be alright now! Raven: *He nodded quick, fear taking over his eyes* Adrian: *He looked at Raven's hand on his wrist, hesitating for just a moment before he locked his other hand around Raven's, giving it a tight squeeze* Raven: *A long loud agonizing roar escaped him as his wound slowly started healing, turning him pale in his face, turning his eyes glowing red* I HATE HIM!!!!! *his voice echoed through the hundreds of hallways*

*Back at Saint Greer Islands, the cab slowly parked outside Red household*

Andy: I'm sorry I have to go *he smiled apologizing at Malou* if it's too bad I can call them and tell them I'll be home a little later?

Malou: No, it's okay, I just need to lay down, I'll handle it *she grunted lightly*

Andy: Are you sure?

Malou: *She nodded lightly and forced a soft smile* It's okay.

Andy: Okay *he took a deep breath and turned around, paying the cab*

Dalton: I thought you would take it home?

Andy: Nah, it's only a few minutes walk from here, there's no need for the extra trip and having to make a u-turn at the end of the road, it can be tricky at night *he shrugged lightly and thanked the cab driver, tipping him extra, then wishing him a good night before he drove off*

Malou: I'll go unlock the door *she pointed towards the house and smiled soft at Andy* get home safe please!

Andy: *He nodded soft* Call me if you need anything.

Malou: *she nodded soft then hurried towards the front door, eager to get out of the cold, out of her clothes, and into her bed*

Andy: Hey *he walked a little closer towards Dalton, lowering his voice* take good care of her please *he looked at him with a worried frown* It's her IBS acting up, probably the alcohol or something she ate, it will pass again, it's just she gets very uncomfortable and private about it and shy and all that. And she doesn't like people to know about it, or to talk about it. But if you can keep an eye on her, that would be great.... just give her some space to begin with, but check up on her within the next 30 minutes, so she knows she's not alone.

Dalton: *He looked back at the house, nodding soft* Of course! *He looked back at Andy with a soft frown* anything particular I can do?

Andy: *He shrugged lightly* Don't judge her, and be gentle... she might be in pain, and she already feel embarrassed enough.

Dalton: *He nodded lightly* well there's no need to be embarrassed about feeling sick...

Andy: Yeah well.. it doesn't always work that way *he forced a soft smile and lit a cig* I better get going, I'm sorry...

Dalton: No, that's completely okay, we will manage *he smiled soft* thank you.

Andy: Call me if there's anything, I'm only few minutes away.

Dalton: *He nodded again, then spontaneously leaned in, giving Andy a quick hug* Get home safe.

Andy: *He sighed soft, taking a deep breath of Dalton, speaking in a soft lowered voice, as he wrapped his arms around Dalton, hugging him tight, lightly digging his fingers into Dalton's jacket, wishing he could hang on like that forever* I will.

Dalton: *He instantly felt Andy's need for the hug and hung onto the hug a little longer*

Andy: Alright *he said after a long sigh and slowly let go, a decision that was more than hard* I have to

Dalton: Yeah *he nodded soft and stuck his hands in his pocket, noticing he felt kinda bummed out the hug had ended?* I better get in as well *he nodded back at the house*

Andy: Right *he kicked a small stone, it was more than hard taking that first step away from Dalton* my phone is open all... all the time...

Dalton: *He nodded again* I'll get the new phone charged now, then send you my new number.

Andy: Cool *he smiled soft, suddenly feeling a strong urge to flirt with Dalton, catching himself mid smirk, feeling butterflies swirl in his stomach* I'll see you *now a full on smirk spread on his face*

Dalton: *His face instantly lid up in a warm smile* see you, Andy!

Andy: *He chuckled happily and smiled so bright his eyes got starry, then he took a couple slow steps backwards, stuck his hands in his pockets, and quickly turned around, walking in the direction of his house. Whatever had just happened, he hoped Dalton had felt it too!*

Dalton: *He chuckled soft as he walked through the large metal gate and up the stair, for some reason feeling sorta giddy and full of warm energy inside. He quickly stepped into the house, locking the door behind him, being greeted by both Malou's cats and his own, screaming for food* Alright alright! Hello to you too! *he chuckled warmly and got his boots and jacket off, then quickly made it to their food bowls, surprised to see them already filled* Liars! *he chuckled lightly and shook his head, then looked slightly worried up the stairs to the second floor* Should I go up now? *he looked down at Malou's female cat, Bunny* Is your mommy okay? *He sighed soft as he looked back up the stairs, deciding it was probably best to take Andy's advice and give her a bit of space at first. So he decided to head for the kitchen instead to grab a cup of coffee to sober completely up on*

Malou: *Meanwhile she was sitting on the toilet with stomach cramps, anxiety making her panic about the pain and discomfort. It was very rare by now she would get cramps, which was such a blessing, but at the same time, it was also a luxury getting to forget just how bad it could be* Shit shit shit shit shit! *she groaned between cramps and tried her best to focus on her phone instead of the anxiety, scrolling Facebook intensely for some much needed distraction! Regretting she had no one to hold her hand in these kind of situations any longer!*

Raven: *He groaned soft as he looked at Adrian with a light frown* I'm sorry you had to see that!

Adrian: *He shook his head firmly*

Bree: Well Ah for one was glad he was 'ere! *she smiled apologizing at Adrian* family fights eh? Always dramatic, whether it's humans or demons!

Raven: Mum, this isn't just a "family fight" stop brushing it of! *he frowned deep at his mom*

Bree: *She sighed deep* How are yeh?

Raven: I'll live... whether he wants me to or not.

Bree: Bran et's not like

Raven: That's exactly what it's like mum! *he slowly sat up on the table, looking at her with angry eyes* are you going to do anything about this or not?! Cause if you wont, I will! Or perhaps I should just stay away forever this time!??! *He quickly jumped off the table and stormed out the dining hall, down a corridor*

Bree: *She looked after her son with a sad frown, then quickly turned towards Adrian* How are yeh darling?

Adrian: I'll manage! *he frowned deep* Where is he going? He told me to stay close to him at all time.

Bree: He's probably heading to his grandfathers office, let meh show yeh the way luv. Follow me.

Adrian: *He followed Bree down the same corridor as he had seen Raven disappear into*

Bree: Yeh mean a lot to him, did yeh know?

Adrian: *He grunted soft*

Bree: Ah know, he's a bit of a weird one, but his hearrrrt is in teh right place. 'N Ah can easily see yerr in et! *She smiled soft at Adrian*

Adrian: *He grunted again*

Bree: Not much of a talker ah take et? *she chuckled warmly* alrrright, ah can take a hint *she nodded soft, then stopped by a large oak door* right, he is much nicer than Rrrroy... of course yeh can wait out here, but there's a big chance Raven might orb out, and I wouldn't know where he would go next, that would depend on mood, so ah suggest yeh go on in luv.

Adrian: *He frowned questioning* But it's an office?

Bree: That's alrrright luv, Belphegor doesn't mind. If he's busy the door will be locked

Adrian: Belphegor?....... THE demon? *he froze in his spot, knowing more than enough about demons, to know Belphegor was one of the very first*

Bree: Yes, he's a bit of a celebrity *suddenly something seemed to catch her eye, one of Adrian's runes on his hand* Ahh.... Ah suppose that makes sense *she pointed at Adrian's protective rune* yeh a vessel.... well ah thought there were something approachable about yeh *she chuckled lightly*

Adrian: *He squinted his eyes*

Bree: Ah suppose yeh didn't appreciate that joke *she sighed soft* for what et's worth, I want to thank yeh for what yeh did back there, it mustn't have been easy, underrrstanding well now that yeh know what demons are capable of, knowing yeh probably don't want teh be here in teh firrrst place.

Adrian: ..... I just want to get Raven and get out of here, please.

Bree: Alrrright *she quickly knocked the large door, and slowly opened it, stepping inside, then reached a hand back out, grabbed Adrian's hand and yanked him inside* Sorry to intrude *she smiled warmly at a tall man, standing bent over a desk, Raven standing across the wooden table, with his arms crossed over his chest, and angry expression plastered on his face*

Belphegor: Yes, come on in Bree *he lifted his head and noticed Adrian* The human too!

Bree: Come on, luv *she quickly dragged Adrian closer to the table and stopped next to Raven, Adrian stuck between them*

Belphegor: Right. *He took a deep slow breath, then straightened up, looking down at them all with no certain expression* Why must there always be such a fuzz when Brandubh returns home. Can anyone answer me that?

Adrian: ....... if I may?

Belphegor: *He lifted a surprised eyebrow* You're a part of this meeting, it seems, which in my office means you have just as much right to speak as the next person. By all means, proceed.

Adrian: *He sighed soft* It seems to me, that Raven's father is an abusive asshole.

Belphegor: .......

Raven: *He turned his head and looked surprised at Adrian, a sort of amusement growing on his face*

Belphegor: ........... that's my son you are talking about.

Adrian: .... my condolences.

Raven: *He burst out a soft snort*

Belphegor: ...... as much as you seem to amuse my grandson, and I at the very least can appreciate you for that. I can't seem to decide if you are bold, courageous, or just plain stupid.

Adrian: *He sighed deep* Then we are two.

Belphegor: *He raised his eyebrow again, surprised at Adrian's sincerity* None the less.... what you did could have had fatal consequences, and I can only hope you will listen closely when I tell you, Roy rarely gives a warning more than twice. Sigma or not, you are on our turf now, you best behave a such.

Adrian: So I should stand around and watch a bully hurt his son and quite possibly his wife as well?

Belphegor: *The eyebrow was raised again, then he turned towards Bree, a deep frown slowly forming on his forehead* Is this true Breanna?

Bree: .......

Belphegor: Your hesitation is all I need *he turned around and grabbed a sword, marching towards the door in big steps*

Bree: NO! OISIN!

Belphegor: *He paused his steps and turned to face her* Has he laid a hand on you again?

Raven: Again?! MUM!!! *he rushed towards his mom, looking at her both shocked and angry* Tell me this is a fucking joke! Has he hurt you?!

Bree: No... ah... Bran yeh know how he gets, he doesn't mean et, et's just

Raven: YOU GOTTA BE FUCKING KIDDING ME!?!? WHEN THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING TO STAND UP TO HIM!??!?!!!

Bree: Bran please! Yeh know he's a good man!

Raven: I KNOW NO SUCH THING!! WHEN THE FUCK WAS HE A GOOD MAN EVER IN MY LIFE MOM!?!! WHEN HE USED TEH BEAT ME UP AS A KID!??!?! *the Irish accent starting to take over again* WHEN HE BRRROKE THE NECK OF MEH PUPPY?!??!?! WHEN HE NEARLY STRANGLED MEH TEH DEATH CAUSE AH ACCIDENTALLY BRRROKE HIS HARMONICA?!?!?!

Bree: Bran he never meant teh

RAVEN: HE FUCKING MEANT ALL OF IT MAH! AND THE FACT THAT AH COME TEH LEARN HE HURT YEH TOO JUST PROVES TEH ME HOW MUCH OF A FOOKIN ARSEHOLE TEH MAN IS!!!! AND YEH'RE STILL DEFENDING 'IM!!! *He spat on the floor in front of her* Either yeh fucking do what yeh shud 'ave dun all them yerrrrs ago, or yeh will never see meh again! *And then he disappeared*

Bree: BRAN!!!! *She broke out in a heavy sobbing, pressing her face against Belphegors chest*

Adrian: *FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK?!!!!!!!!!!! *He quickly left the room, heading aimlessly down the corridor, thinking if he at the least could make it to the entry hall, he could go out for some air while he could gather his thoughts and think what to do next! But he didn't make it many steps down the hallway, till he felt someone firmly grab onto his shoulder. He instantly spun around, more than surprised to see a not so familiar face, yet familiar enough*

Elliot: Hey *he smiled somewhat awkward* you know who I am, right?

Adrian: *He nodded soft, Elliot, Andy's long lost demon boyfriend, that no one ever talked about, cause he always seemed to be distant, out searching for his roots and purpose in life, or something like that* Elliot.

Elliot: *He smiled somewhat apologetic* I overheard...

Adrian: *He frowned deep* another stalker?

Elliot: *He let out a soft shy chuckle, scratching the back of his neck* yeah well, not as talented as Raven. Should I take you home? I bet you wanna get out of here?

Adrian: Technically, I can get myself home any time I want... how about you tell me where to find Raven instead? I prefer not to leave without him.

Elliot: *He looked at the ceiling above them, then grabbed onto Adrian again, jumping tall, and suddenly they stood in the room above*

Elliot: Sorry *he shrugged lightly* He's in the bathroom *he pointed lightly towards a door in the corner, a light sobbing sounding from somewhere behind the door* Just shout if you need anything.

Adrian: *He grunted soft* He would hate me if I didn't mention

Elliot: I'll contact him soon *he smiled soft, then quickly sunk back down through the floor and was gone*

Chapter 32 - December days & December ways.

Episode 5. *Hours went by, more alcohol and food went in, people were slowly starting to roam around the living room. Some still one the floor, others on the couch lost in different conversations, switching seats here and there, mixing and mingling.* Raven: *He suddenly looked a bit out of place, a frown on his forehead as he suddenly stood up and took a few steps towards the door, before he turned around to look at Adrian from across the room* Adrian: *He spotted the sudden change in the man, a look he had never seen on his face before* Andy: Hey, where’re ya going? *He looked at Raven with a wide smile* Raven: I'm sorry... I gotta swing by the castle, McKinney business... Andy: You mean the big castle? Raven: Yeah *his frown only grew deeper* Andy: *He stood up slow* Will your dad be there? Raven: *He sighed deep and heavy* Adrian: *Suddenly recalled Andy complaining about the father, and his relationship with Raven. Seeing Raven looking already tense and defeated, made him stand up fast* I'll go with you! Raven: *He looked at Adrian more than surprised* Andy: *He chuckled hoarsely* Wait what?!

Adrian: I'll go with you *he repeated as he started walking towards Raven, stopping only about a meter from him* I don't think you should be going alone, specially after having had alcohol.

Raven: The alcohol is the only thing that will keep me away from fighting him.

Adrian: *He frowned lightly* Still.

Andy: So you're willing to walk into a castle full of demons for Raven? *he smiled wide and amused as he joined them*

Adrian: *He looked at Andy with a more than serious look on his face* You're all 3 welcome to stay and take whatever you need. *He smiled at the others apologizing*

Raven: You don't have to-

Adrian: *He quickly turned back towards Raven, grabbing his arm, speaking more firmly this time* I'm going with you.

Andy: *He chuckled lightly, amused by the fact that Adrian was bossing Raven around*

Malou: Actually, I think I'll head home too, I'm getting a bit tired, I feel like the alcohol is wearing of

Adrian: I don't want you to be driving now *he looked at her with a soft frown* call a cab! The cold might hit you and you could get pretty hammered again, and they are still promising snow. If you fall, you might freeze to death out there before someone finds you!

Malou: *She nodded lightly* Yeah, okay *she frowned lightly by the thought*

Andy: I can drive!

Adrian and Raven: NO!

Andy: *He chuckled amused*

Dalton: I'll call a cab, Andy do you wanna come with us or?

Andy: So you're heading home too now? Everyone's leaving? *he looked at them all with puppy eyes* But the night is still young!

Malou: Yeah I'm sorry, I don't feel too well in my stomach right now, but you're welcome to come with Dalton, I'll probably just head to bed soon *she lightly pressed a hand against her stomach*

Andy: *He knew all too well it probably meant she had stomach cramps and was uncomfortable with the company by now, and just wanted to escape so she could get to lay down on her stomach or go to the toilet* Do you want me to keep you company? You know I don't mind... *he spoke softly*

Malou: *She nodded quick and looked away shyly*

Dalton: Yeah can I have a cab for *they could hear him speak further away*... how long will it take? ..... Okay... thank you very much, we will wait by the road. *He smiled at the others as he hung up* They will be here in maximum 5 minutes... I'll quickly help clea-

Adrian: There's no need *he smiled warmly* I'll take care of it later, just blow out the candles before you leave, please.

Dalton: *He nodded confirming* I'll take care of that.

Adrian: Thank you *he smiled soft at Andy* I'll see you soon *he leaned in, planting a gentle kiss on Andy's lips*

Andy: Mhh *he moaned soft, then looked at Raven as their kiss parted few seconds later* You fucking make sure he gets sent home safely in case anything goes down or you have to stay or whatever other crazy shit will happen over there! *he glared lightly*

Raven: I promise *he nodded soft, then grabbed Adrian, holding him tight against him, then they were gone*

Dalton: *Already busy blowing candles out*

Andy: Right *he smiled apologizing at Malou* I'll just throw some food in the bowls just in case *he sighed soft*

Malou: *She nodded lightly, well knowing Andy was worried now, and quickly went to pick up at least ash trays and stuff that wasn't good for the cats to get into*

Raven: *He landed in the hallway of the McKinney castle, sighing soft as he let go of Adrian* You really didn't have to...

Adrian: I'm well aware, Raven. *He slowly stepped a bit away so he was at a comfortable distance*

Bree: Mah wee boy! *she exclaimed as she spotted them from down a hallway*

Raven: Right...there's no time to prepare you for any of this, so try to hang on, and whatever happens, stick to me okay, or you might get lost or join a cult or some shit *he forced a soft chuckle, then two firm arms wrapped around him, the long haired woman squealing as she hugged him tight* Et's soh nice seeing yeh 'ome!

Raven: Mum! *he chuckled lightly* I brough a guest!

Bree: Oh! *She quickly backed away from Raven, planting a couple kisses on his cheeks, then turned around, facing Adrian, studying him for a moment* ah see yeh did! And a handsome one of that! *she smiled big and bright* well tell me yeh name lad! *she held a greeting hand towards Adrian*

Adrian: Adrian *he said in a neutral tone and grabbed her hand, shaking it firmly*

Bree: *She shook it back, then let go with a satisfied smile* Strong lad, confident shake, ah like 'im!

Raven: *He chuckled lightly* He's the Sigma, so please make sure he stays out of harms way!

Bree: Ohhhhh *she studied Adrian closer* he's the one!

Adrian: *He lifted an eyebrow slightly, observing her back. She was nothing like Raven, neither in looks nor personality. She was loud and bubbly and a tad too friendly for Adrian's taste! She looked mostly like Ronan, although her personality was far larger than any of the McKinney brothers, as far as he could judge*

Raven: *He chuckled amused, being able to read Adrian pretty well, he could easily see he was already getting overwhelmed* mum, it will just be a short visit this time... where is he?

Bree: Nonsense! Let's go grab some grub in the kitchen! Yeh came just in time for supper!

Raven: Mum! We already ate! *he sighed soft*

Bree: Oh shush yeh brat! At least have a drink with yerr mum beforrre yeh fly off again!

Adrian: A beer sounds nice *he politely offered*

Bree: HAH! There yeh go! *she quickly wrapped an arm around Adrian's shoulders* Ah'll show yeh the way!

*A few minutes later they were sitting by a table in a corner of the dining hall, with each their pint of beer*

Raven: Mum.... honestly, you had to pick the biggest mugs you could find?

Bree: *She winked at Adrian* He looks like a man who can hold his liquor!

Raven: He can, but that's not the point.. the point is we aren't staying very long. As a matter of fact, I can't wait to hear what he's up to now, and why he called me here?

Bree: Ah wouldn't know luv, ah haven't seen ‘im all day.

Raven: Typical.

Roy: What's typical is yeh showing up, then going straight for the beer before yeh find me. May ah always remind yeh duty comes first?! *his voice suddenly rumbled over the table*

Adrian: *He slowly looked up, worrying what may greet him above them, then starred blank into a face that looked almost exactly like Eonan. Just a lot less friendly that is!*

Roy: *He didn't as much as breathe in the direction of Adrian, as his large torso turned more towards Raven*

Raven: *He sighed deep* here we go.

Roy: Am ah emberrrassing yeh son?! Perrrrhaps yeh should take care of our matter firrrst then, beforrre yeh settle down for fun!

Bree: Oh rrrrelax Rrroy! We 'ave a guest!

Roy: *He placed his palms on the table and leaned over them, so Adrian could no longer see their faces* Ah told yeh, woman! STAY OUT OF THE WAY! *his voice thundered* Orrr else

Raven: Or else what?! *he stood up fast, his voice sharp and full of something dark Adrian had never heard in it before*

Roy: Ah warn yeh Brandubh! Sit down or

Raven: Or what?!?!! *his voice by now was ice cold, and so was the wind that suddenly seemed to chill the room. And it was just like that Adrian noticed the lively dining hall had fallen completely silent*

Roy: *He reached out, grabbing Raven by the throat, picking him up and slammed him down on the table, instantly stabbing a large sword through Raven's chest, gritting his teeth as he bent over his son*

Raven: *He moaned loudly and coughed something black up into his mouth* So yeh would kill yerr own son?! *he spoke this time in a hoarse tone with a thick Irish accent Adrian had never heard from Raven before*

Adrian: *He stood up so sudden that he knocked over his chair and reached an arm over Raven, planting his palm firmly on the table, as he looked up at Roy with a deep frown, now standing between them, somewhat shielding Raven* I think that's enough!

Roy: *He glared firmly at Adrian* Yeh know boy, I could tear yeh to pieces with a snap of my fingers*

Adrian: *A low growl rumbled through the whole castle*

Roy: *Something changed in his eyes, he looked almost surprised, as he slowly stood back up tall, and slowly stepped backwards a few steps, looking at Adrian in disbelief, then he quickly grabbed the sword, firmly pulling it back out of the table, and Raven in a swift move, stuck it back in his belt and left the room*

Chapter 10 - Sharp tongue and teeth.

Episode 1. (Short recap:) Peter: *He reacted fast as he heard a loud knocking on the bedroom door, immediately hoping it could be Raven. But on his way over the floor, nearly stumbling over a box of candles, he realized it probably wouldn't be him just yet, cause why was he using the door then? Highly unusual of Raven to use a door! He quickly yanked the door open, frowning soft as he noticed Bree outside, then forced a jolly smile* Bree! Bree: *She smiled warmly* Peterrrr Peter: *He sighed soft as he became anxious* Is he Bree: He's awake, and alrrrrright under the circumstances. Ah came to talk to yeh for a moment. *She peeked over his shoulder, smiling soft at Ben, laying on the bed* Alone, my dear, ah apologize... it will onleh take a shorrrt moment. Peter: *He turned around, nodding soft at Ben* I'll be just outside the door, I wont go anywhere. Ben: *He nodded soft and sniffled his nose* Promise? Peter: *He nodded eagerly and forced another jolly smile* Of course pancake! Ben: *He chuckled soft between his tears* Stupnut! Pete: *He sighed soft as he closed the door behind him and looked at Bree* Bree: *She reached out and slapped Pete's back head a little, cleaning up her accent, to make sure Pete would understand* Peter Franco! Yerrr family! And family means forever! Family also means don't forget the ones who save yerrr arse!!! *She frowned soft* We all have understanding and respect for *she nodded towards the door, meaning Ben* But while my son is healing, you best say hi to him once in a while, he saved yerr life after all! Pete: Erhm.... Bree: Noh!!! Yerr let me finish firrst! That boy went through hell teh find ya! Literally! He nearly lost his life, giving you yerrs back! Pete: But..... Bree: *She frowned even deeper* Pete: *Swallowed hard* Bree: He spoke! He spoke in his demon form! A thing that is actually impossible. My son did the impossible, to bring yeh home! No one believed it could be done. But here we are. So beforrre yeh get all caught up in the little one in there, and forget all about him, please remember my son and the fact that he has been the first demon teh speak human language, in his demon form. I am not saying yerr aren't allowed to reunite with another dearrr person. But to push me son aside for *she nodded at the door again* is a very painful fact teh wake up to! Pete: *He frowned deep* Your husband told me to stay away, before he brought Ben here. Bree:................... *she looked as if she was just about to explode* THAT WEASEL!!!! Pete: *He snorted soft* Bree: *She quickly linked her arm with Pete's* Well 'ow about we go grab Benjamin, get some food, and all go greet Bran then? I'm sure he's worried about yeh both *she winked at Pete and squeezed him tighter against himself* Ah hear wedding bells! Pete: *Started sweating* Ehm! Bree: Oh rrrelaxxxx, yeh can marry them both! (Recap over) Pete: *He looked more nervous than anything* Bree: *She laughed loud and warmly* Let's see we make it to our wee Bran before we starrt the wedding bells!

Raven: *He laid quiet on the bed, starring at a small candle next to it, trying to avoid eye contact with his dad. The air in the room was thick. Uncomfortable. It was not a secret that Roy was displeased with his sons doings. And the fact that his brothers and a larger portion of the McKinney clan had followed him to hell, breaking several important rules. He sighed soft, hoping his mom would return soon, break the silence* Bree: ROY! May I speak a worrrd with yeh out here? Roy: *He frowned deep, but stood up, walking out into the hallway* Bree: Go on luv *her voice was mild and encouraging* Peter: *He quickly stepped into the room, trying to avoid Roy's grumpy eyes. He walked carefully over the floor and jumped into bed* LICORICE!!!! Raven: *He startled as he turned around, looking straight at Pete's smiling face, laying only few cm next to him* Peter: *He smiled even brighter, true happiness radiating from his whole face* Raven: *His eyes filled with tears, then he rolled to his side and pressed his face against Pete's neck as all the pain and sadness he had been holding back, in order to keep going, came washing over him. Loud devastating sobbing escaping him as he wrapped his arms around his mate* Peter: Licorice? *He frowned soft, wrapping his arms around Raven. But this time he knew no jolly comments could save the day. Raven looked tired and pale, almost gray. He had carried both himself and Benjamin, for many weeks. He had to get it out. So Pete did what he thought would help the most. He dug his fingers into Raven's long hair, and started caressing it, hoping it would somehow soothe him* Ben: *He went to the bathroom connected to the medieval looking bedroom, washed his face, then dried it. Then went back to bed, grabbed a bottle of water from the small fridge Ronan had provided them with, and grabbed a bag of chocolates too, jumping back up on the bed. He drank a bit of the water, then nommed a couple of chocolates, feeling sorta buzzing yet empty in his head. He had cried for hours, since he had gotten reunited with Peter. In between the crying, he had managed to catch Pete a bit up on things, but not a lot. Mainly just answering stupid questions. He suddenly realized he promised Adrian to call, and picked up his phone, quickly dialing his numbder as he shoved another chocolate in his mouth.* Adrian: Mmh? *he sounded tired as he picked up at the 3rd ring* Ben: Oh! Did I wake you? *he mumbled with his mouth full of chocolate* is it late there? I can call tomorrow?! Adrian: *He groaned soft* Ben... it's okay, but I can barely understand what you are saying... are you okay? Ben: *He looked lost for a few seconds, then he realized his mouth was full and quickly swallowed* No! I'm okay *he chuckled soft* I had my mouth full of chocolate! Adrian: *He chuckled soft and sat up, lighting a cig* that makes me happy to hear *he took a drag of the cig, trying his best to keep his happy tears inside* How are you? Ben: I'm kinda mooshy.... but okay... *he sighed soft* it's so nice to have him back! It kinda feels like he was just on a vacation now? *he scratched his hair while he thought about his own words* I mean, he's exactly the same Pete, just... maybe a bit tired, but I guess we all are? *He quickly shoved another chocolate in his mouth crunching it* How are you? Is Andy with you? Adrian: I'm okay... tired... and no, Andy is not here. I saw him yesterday. But I needed some space for myself today. Digest some stuff. Ben: .......... *he sat up more straight, getting a serious tone and expression* Is something wrong? Adrian: No. Not wrong per say. Just some changes in my life *he sighed soft and took another drag* It's nothing for you to worry about, and I really prefer to figure it out before we talk about it... if that's okay for you? Ben: ....... are you sure you are okay? Adrian: ........... yeah..... no.... *he frowned deep* no, I'm not okay. Ben: ..... *he swallowed the chocolate* Should I.... should I come home? Adrian: No, sweetheart. Sam is here. Technically Akin too. *He sighed soft* I want you to spend some time with Pe- Ben: Akin is there? Did something happen to you? Did you get hurt? *his voice instantly grew worried* Adrian: Ben, no. I'm okay... it's some wolf business. It's fine, Sam is here for some.... sleepover *he really didn't want to worry Ben, and technically it wasn't a lie* And Akin came by to talk with Sam.... *which technically wasn't a lie either* I went to bed... they are talking outside. Some stuff happened yesterday, I'm okay... but at the same time not.... I mean I am okay *he sighed deep* it's just a mouthful and I need to figure what to do about it... it's nothing to worry about. Really, I mean it. It's nothing that can harm me in any way... lets say it's a sort of a job opportunity or a career path.... I just don't know what to pick... that's all. It's a mouthful and I guess it's just overwhelming, that's all. Ben: *He sighed soft and frowned, worried about Adrian, worried he should be back in Hidden Springs with him instead* If you need me, I can come home. Adrian: I need you. But I also need you to be with your friend, for now. You need this, Ben. I need you to come home and be okay again... do you understand? Ben: *He nodded soft, he knew he had to heal from the loss of Pete now that he was back. He sighed deep* Okay... but if it gets worse, just call me okay? Adrian: I will *he smiled soft* I love you. Ben: I love you too.... but... Adrian: But what? Ben: *He sighed soft* ........ what about Andy? Could he.... *he frowned deep, feeling a sting of jealousy in his stomach* Adrian: I'm fine, Ben... it's fine. Sam and Akin is here as I said.... I really just want some sleep. I promise. *He sighed soft* As long as you are okay, that's what matters most to me. Hang out with Peter, get some healing done, and come home when you feel ready. That's all I really need. Ben: *He nodded soft* Okay. Adrian: Thank you. Ben: *He sighed soft* Sweet dreams when you lay down. Adrian: Sweet dreams to you too, Ben, when the time comes. Take care, okay? Ben: I will *he nodded soft* Adrian: I love you. Ben: I love you too. Adrian: *He smiled soft* Give me a call soon again. Ben: I will.
