I present to thee, The McKinney Brothers Father & mum. (Ronan, Eonan and Raven's parents) I'm trying to unwind from an intense and physically hard day, and of course I sat down with newprofilepic, and decided to do some more McKinney's, cause dang them demon genes! :3 I'm quite satisfied with these two, apart from the obvious AI mistakes, they are exactly how I would imagine them :)

Single Chapter 32
AO3
“But, he is just a baby!” He grins at his wife.

“No Sassanach, Julia and Kyle are babies,” he looks to Kyle playing with pieces of wood on the floor at their feet and Julia nursing contently “Brianna is a wean and Fergus a man grown.”

Brianna is helping Mrs. Crook make bannocks. At nearly seven, she loves to help wherever she can.

“It is just, we missed so much time with him, just getting him when he was older than Bree. Then I missed three years. Seeing him go off to live his life is tough.”

He nods. “Aye, but he will always be our son. He has to live his own life though. Think about it this way, we will be gaining another daughter and then grandbabies.”

“Oh bloody hell!”

Kyle looks up. “Mama, that a bad word.”

“Yes. Forgive me,” a shake of her head, “grandparents. That is crazy while having little children. They will be aunts and uncles,” another shake of her head, “Marsali is only fourteen, isn’t she?”

“Aye, but old enough.” She has to constantly remind herself that this time is different. Still.

“Brianna nor Julia will be married before they are eighteen. I don’t care that they will be considered old maids.”

He nods thoughtfully. “Aye. As my daughters none would dare call them names. It will be as you wish.”

“Thank you. Maybe the McKinney ‘s will deny him, at least until she is older.”

He shakes his head. “Fergus is a Fraser, my eldest son. A fine catch. They won’t .”

She sighs again.

“Don’t fret, Sassanach. The lass will be prepared for marriage. It will be a year or so away anyway. Fergus shall have to build her a home.”

“We have plenty of room here.”

He grins. “Aye but, they will wish their own place and it is customary. He needs to show he can provide.”

“Good.” He laughs and kisses her head and then the head of his baby girl. Scooping Kyle up, he asks,

“Would you like to go see to the horses?”

“Aye papa.” He carries him out.

Celebrating Black Sci-Fi & Fantasy
It's Black History Month and it has already been a crazy ride. Book bans rage across the country trying to silence diverse voices while our country uplifts and celebrates Black History & Culture. For this month I want to celebrate Black SciFi & Fantasy and share some of my favorite reads the past few years.
First I have to share the amazing anthology, edited by Patrice Caldwell, that brought 16 authors together in a book full of Black Sci-Fi goodness.
A Phoenix First Must Burn edited by Patrice Caldwell
Sixteen tales by bestselling and award-winning authors that explore the Black experience through fantasy, science fiction, and magic. Evoking Beyoncé’s Lemonade for a teen audience, these authors who are truly Octavia Butler’s heirs, have woven worlds to create a stunning narrative that centers Black women and gender nonconforming individuals. A Phoenix First Must Burn will take you on a journey from folktales retold to futuristic societies and everything in between. Filled with stories of love and betrayal, strength and resistance, this collection contains an array of complex and true-to-life characters in which you cannot help but see yourself reflected. Witches and scientists, sisters and lovers, priestesses and rebels: the heroines of A Phoenix First Must Burn shine brightly. You will never forget them. Authors include Elizabeth Acevedo, Amerie, Dhonielle Clayton, Jalissa Corrie, Somaiya Daud, Charlotte Davis, Alaya Dawn Johnson, Justina Ireland, Danny Lore, L.L. McKinney, Danielle Paige, Rebecca Roanhorse, Karen Strong, Ashley Woodfolk, and Ibi Zoboi.
Next I have to share Tomi Adeyemi's Legacy of Orisha trilogy, the first book being Children of Blood & Bone. The second book, Children of Virtue & Vengeance, was just as good and I'm eagerly awaiting the last book of the trilogy.
Children of Blood & Bone by Tomi Adeyemi
They killed my mother. They took our magic. They tried to bury us. Now we rise. Zélie Adebola remembers when the soil of Orïsha hummed with magic. Burners ignited flames, Tiders beckoned waves, and Zélie’s Reaper mother summoned forth souls. But everything changed the night magic disappeared. Under the orders of a ruthless king, maji were killed, leaving Zélie without a mother and her people without hope. Now Zélie has one chance to bring back magic and strike against the monarchy. With the help of a rogue princess, Zélie must outwit and outrun the crown prince, who is hell-bent on eradicating magic for good. Danger lurks in Orïsha, where snow leoponaires prowl and vengeful spirits wait in the waters. Yet the greatest danger may be Zélie herself as she struggles to control her powers and her growing feelings for an enemy.
I have to add Tracy Deonn's Legendborn to this list because this book was so much fun! The sequel, Bloodmarked comes out in November and I honestly can't wait.
Legendborn by Tracy Deonn
After her mother dies in an accident, sixteen-year-old Bree Matthews wants nothing to do with her family memories or childhood home. A residential program for bright high schoolers at UNC–Chapel Hill seems like the perfect escape—until Bree witnesses a magical attack her very first night on campus. A flying demon feeding on human energies. A secret society of so called “Legendborn” students that hunt the creatures down. And a mysterious teenage mage who calls himself a “Merlin” and who attempts—and fails—to wipe Bree’s memory of everything she saw. The mage’s failure unlocks Bree’s own unique magic and a buried memory with a hidden connection: the night her mother died, another Merlin was at the hospital. Now that Bree knows there’s more to her mother’s death than what’s on the police report, she’ll do whatever it takes to find out the truth, even if that means infiltrating the Legendborn as one of their initiates. She recruits Nick, a self-exiled Legendborn with his own grudge against the group, and their reluctant partnership pulls them deeper into the society’s secrets—and closer to each other. But when the Legendborn reveal themselves as the descendants of King Arthur’s knights and explain that a magical war is coming, Bree has to decide how far she’ll go for the truth and whether she should use her magic to take the society down—or join the fight.
Lastly I want to add two debuts that I have not read yet, but are sitting on my TBR pile. Both have receive rave reviews and I can't wait to lose myself in these unique stories that reflect Blackness.
Skin of the Sea by Natasha Bowen
A way to survive.
A way to serve.
A way to save.
Simi prayed to the gods, once. Now she serves them as Mami Wata--a mermaid--collecting the souls of those who die at sea and blessing their journeys back home.
But when a living boy is thrown overboard, Simi goes against an ancient decree and does the unthinkable--she saves his
life
. And punishment awaits those who dare to defy the gods.
To protect the other Mami Wata, Simi must journey to the Supreme Creator to make amends. But all is not as it seems. There's the boy she rescued, who knows more than he should. And something is shadowing Simi, something that would rather see her fail . . .
Danger lurks at every turn, and as Simi draws closer, she must brave vengeful gods, treacherous lands, and legendary creatures. Because if she fails, she risks not only the fate of all Mami Wata, but also the world as she knows it.
Within These Wicked Walls by Lauren Blackwood
What the heart desires, the house destroys...
Andromeda is a debtera—an exorcist hired to cleanse households of the Evil Eye. When a handsome young heir named Magnus Rochester reaches out to hire her, Andromeda quickly realizes this is a job like no other, with horrifying manifestations at every turn, and that Magnus is hiding far more than she has been trained for. Death is the most likely outcome if she stays, but leaving Magnus to live out his curse alone isn’t an option. Evil may roam the castle’s halls, but so does a burning desire.

-          You should see me in a crown- Leah Johnson Liz Lighty has always believed she's too black, too poor, too awkward to shine in her small, rich, prom-obsessed midwestern town. But it's okay -- Liz has a plan that will get her out of Campbell, Indiana, forever: attend the uber-elite Pennington College, play in their world-famous orchestra, and become a doctor. But when the financial aid she was counting on unexpectedly falls through, Liz's plans come crashing down . . . until she's reminded of her school's scholarship for prom king and queen
-          Tell me How you Really Feel- Aminah Mae Safi Sana Khan is a cheerleader and a straight A student. As she's casting her senior film project, she knows she's found the perfect lead - Sana. There's only one problem. Rachel hates Sana. Rachel was the first girl Sana ever asked out, but Rachel thought it was a cruel prank and has detested Sana ever since.
-          Like a love story- Abdi Nazemian It's 1989 in New York City, and for three teens, the world is changing.
-          I Wish You All the Best- Mason Deaver At turns heartbreaking and joyous, I Wish You All the Best is both a celebration of life, friendship, and love, and a shining example of hope in the face of adversity.
-          The Falling in Love Montage- Ciara Smyth Saoirse doesn’t believe in love at first sight or happy endings. If they were real, her mother would still be able to remember her name and not in a care home with early onset dementia. A condition that Saoirse may one day turn out to have inherited. So she’s not looking for a relationship. She doesn’t see the point in igniting any romantic sparks if she’s bound to burn out. But after a chance encounter at an end-of-term house party, Saoirse is about to break her own rules. For a girl with one blue freckle, an irresistible sense of mischief, and a passion for rom-coms.
-          The Fascinators- Andrew Eliopulos Living in a small town where magic is frowned upon, Sam needs his friends James and Delia—and their time together in their school's magic club—to see him through to graduation. But as soon as senior year starts, little cracks in their group begin to show. And James reveals that he got mixed up with some sketchy magickers over the summer, putting a target on all their backs.
-          The Dark Tide- Alicia Jaskina The Wicked Deep meets A Curse So Dark and Lonely in this gripping, dark fairy-tale fantasy about two girls who must choose between saving themselves, each other, or their sinking island city
-          Summer of Salt – Katrina Leno Georgina Fernweh waits with growing impatience for the tingle of magic in her fingers—magic that has been passed down through every woman in her family. -          Sawkill Girls- Claire Legrand Marion: the new girl. Awkward and plain, steady and dependable. Weighed down by tragedy and hungry for love she’s sure she’ll never find. Zoey: the pariah. Luckless and lonely, hurting but hiding it. Aching with grief and dreaming of vanished girls. Maybe she’s broken—or maybe everyone else is. Val: the queen bee. Gorgeous and privileged, ruthless and regal. Words like silk and eyes like knives, a heart made of secrets and a mouth full of lies.
-          The Priory of the Orange Tree- Samantha Shannon A world divided. A queendom without an heir. An ancient enemy awakens. The House of Berethnet has ruled Inys for a thousand years. Still unwed, Queen Sabran the Ninth must conceive a daughter to protect her realm from destruction – but assassins are getting closer to her door. Ead Duryan is an outsider at court. Though she has risen to the position of lady-in-waiting, she is loyal to a hidden society of mages. Ead keeps a watchful eye on Sabran, secretly protecting her with forbidden magic. Across the dark sea, Tané has trained to be a dragonrider since she was a child, but is forced to make a choice that could see her life unravel.
-          I was Born for this- Alice Oseman For Angel Rahimi, life is only about one thing: The Ark – a pop-rock trio of teenage boys who are currently taking the world by storm. Being part of The Ark’s fandom has given her everything – her friendships, her dreams, her place in the world. Jimmy Kaga-Ricci owes everything to The Ark too. With new terms thrown at her – asexual, aromantic – Georgia is more uncertain about her feelings than ever.
-          The Last Beginning- Lauren James-  (you probably need to read the next together first which I HIGHLY recommend) Sixteen years ago, after a scandal that rocked the world, teenagers Katherine and Matthew vanished without a trace. Now Clove Sutcliffe is determined to find her long lost relatives. But where do you start looking for a couple who seem to have been reincarnated at every key moment in history? Who were Kate and Matt? Why were they born again and again? And who is the mysterious Ella, who keeps appearing at every turn in Clove's investigation? For Clove, there is a mystery to solve in the past and a love to find in the future, and failure could cost the world everything.

Fox news Schrager's mock: Ruggs over Jeudy? New names! - NFL.com
Tumblr media
Fox news
Good days away from draft week, my mock aspects some new names it is doubtless you'll maybe maybe not be conscious of. That is continuously an spell binding time within the pre-draft process, with intel and smoke monitors coming rapid and indignant.
I might present one closing mock subsequent week sooner than the 2020 NFL Draft kicks off, however here is how this no-alternate mannequin labored out recently. Maintain at it.
College: LSU | Year: Senior (RS)
The Bengals might perchance maybe additionally to find supplied a king's ransom for the rights to take Burrow. Even in that divulge, I can not watch them accepting a deal. The Ohio-reared Burrow returns home to the Buckeye Issue.
College: Ohio Issue | Year: Junior
My colleague Bucky Brooks recently ragged the phrase "gold jacket" to describe Younger on NFL Community. Or not it is not that loopy. One total manager urged me Younger might perchance maybe rep an even better impact than reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year Carve Bosa staunch had in San Francisco.
College: Ohio Issue | Year: Junior
Okudah screams "Patriot Advance." He's all business, a student of the game and absolutely deflects consideration in phrases of others raving about his play. Lions total manager Bob Quinn, vice president of participant personnel Kyle O'Brien and head coach Matt Patricia were all brought up throughout the Pats machine. Factual fit here. Goodbye, Darius Fracture. Hello, Jeff Okudah.
College: Iowa | Year: Junior
I've long previous forwards and backwards many events between the top three tackles here: Wirfs, Jedrick Wills and Mekhi Becton. Wirfs, out of the NFL O-line manufacturing facility in Iowa Metropolis, is considered by many because the "cleanest" of the bunch. Improbable athlete, versatile and handsome.
College: Oregon | Year: Senior
Many, many years ago, Dolphins team clinical doctors failed free agent Drew Brees on his physical and the Saints ended up signing him almost right this moment thereafter. No one's failed Tua Tagovailoa on his physical -- on the least that I know of -- however there's ample uncertainty and whispers across the league about what the Dolphins are doing here that I might recent an different option. Herbert -- big arm, wholesome, Academic All-American and Senior Bowl/mix conceal-stealer -- is now and again a extra swish Door No. 2.
College: Alabama | Year: Junior
GM Tom Telesco treats this stuff admire authorities secrets and tactics, and I to find the sensation he takes proper indulge in throwing all people for a loop seemingly every single year. The Chargers might perchance maybe scoot a diversity of ways here, no matter whether or not Tua is on the board. The thought of featuring Derwin James and Isaiah Simmons within the again of Melvin Ingram and Joey Bosa is very tempting. As is drafting one of many top offensive tackles. Tagovailoa to Los Angeles at No. 6 would be a licensed fit for all events eager. Tyrod Taylor for a year; Tua from there. But here's a bet. I repeat -- a bet.
College: Clemson | Year: Junior (RS)
Matt Rhule extremely values character, management and mosey. Add within the native tie-in, and Simmons falling to No. 7 would be a substantial fit for the Panthers' rebuild below a brand new regime.
College: Auburn | Year: Senior
The doubtless pairing of Kyler Murray with feeble Sooner teammate CeeDee Lamb grew to transform far much less seemingly after the DeAndre Hopkins alternate. Insert Brown, an anchor for the Cardinals' defensive line. The Auburn product might perchance maybe rep left college early closing year, however he returned and improved his draft stock immensely.
College: Florida | Year: Junior
There is loads of like for Henderson within the scouting neighborhood, and I've spoken to coaches who grunt he's bought some juice to him that Jeff Okudah couldn't. Both is at risk of be top 10 picks, and the Jaguars -- who parted ways with Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye over the last six months -- would gladly scoop Henderson up here.
College: Alabama | Year: Junior
One other offensive take care of off the board, and this one is believed of a Day 1 starter. Cleveland, peaceable in need of offensive line support even after the Jack Conklin signing, is in a licensed role to nab one of many top OTs on this class.
College: Louisville | Year: Junior
If Wills, Wirfs, Becton or Andrew Thomas is peaceable on the board at No. 11, I take into consideration the Jets will scoot offensive line over huge receiver. A mountain of a man who measured in at 6-foot-7, tipped the scales at 364 kilos and ran a 5.1 40-yard poke, Becton might perchance be the left (or appropriate) take care of to offer protection to Sam Darnold.
College: Oklahoma | Year: Junior
If the Raiders are the principle team to recall a receiver, I deem Lamb's the principle wideout off the board. A fancy, physical, gregarious and handsome pass catcher, Lamb's drawing comparisons to DeAndre Hopkins -- and that isn't a loopy comp.
College: Alabama | Year: Junior
Ruggs over Jerry Jeudy? In Kyle Shanahan's offense, I'm in a position to look at it. That 4.27 mosey is at risk of be the supreme complement to what Deebo Samuel brings to the table. Ruggs isn't actually staunch a burner, either: He runs routes, has improbable hands and might perchance attain the microscopic things.
College: Georgia | Year: Junior
Conserving Tom Brady appropriate in 2020 must be the greatest thing for Tampa's offense. The Bucs' offensive line isn't actually rotten, however they would maybe maybe additionally use one more proficient big physique. Thomas might perchance maybe scoot as high because the top 10 if there's a poke on tackles, even supposing he's considered by most groups because the fourth OT off the board.
College: Alabama | Year: Junior
There is talk about of the Broncos inviting up within the principle spherical to to find one of many top huge receivers. If things play out this method, and they fabricate not have to alternate, this might perchance be the very supreme divulge for Denver. Jeudy is the top huge receiver on on the least about a groups' boards.
College: South Carolina | Year: Senior
I've heard top-10 buzz on Kinlaw, however he's peaceable an unfinished product on the sector. Off the sector, his story is as keen as any on this class -- and he's an grownup well beyond his years. Tall fit for the Falcons, who added a pass rusher in Dante Fowler Jr. all over free company. Crawl Kinlaw real into a defensive line that already has loads of young, hungry skill, and Atlanta's pass bolt is at risk of be one to worry about.
College: Alabama | Year: Junior
This might be loads sooner than the attach some assorted mocks rep McKinney going, however I deem he fills an instantaneous need for the Cowboys' protection. In a position to taking half in either safety role, he's a flexible sport-changer who's positively NFL-ready with a high soccer IQ. The losses of Byron Jones and Jeff Heath actually thinned out Dallas' secondary, however McKinney has the extra or much less superior skill situation to support personal the void on Day 1.
College: Houston | Year: Senior (RS)
After getting their quarterback at No. 5, the Dolphins take this opportunity to give a enhance to Justin Herbert's safety. Alongside with Jones -- a 6-7, 320-pounder, who logged four seasons as Houston's starting left take care of -- would be good. He's been a uninteresting-in-the-process riser who might perchance maybe discontinue up coming off the board throughout the top 15 picks.
College: Oklahoma | Year: Junior
Is linebacker a dire need for the Raiders, a team with proper concerns at nook and safety? Maybe not, especially with what they did in free company. But ought to you is at risk of be shopping for a mosey-setter of the unit for the prolonged-duration of time future, there would be no better franchise cornerstone and chief than Murray. Classic managers and coaches rep raved about his interviews, and he additionally occurs to be a sideline-to-sideline LB who crushed the mix. A Day 1 starter at OU, Murray used to be a team captain by his sophomore season. Mike Mayock prides himself on procuring leaders throughout the draft.
College: LSU | Year: Sophomore (RS)
Calais Campbell is long previous and Yannick Ngakoue's future with the team is a huge question designate. Chaisson is at risk of be the man to pair with Josh Allen for future years. Quiet severely uncooked, the 20-year-ragged has substantial room to develop, however he's naturally explosive off the brink.
College: LSU | Year: Junior
All people's thinking huge receiver -- no matter what -- at No. 21 for the Eagles, however that isn't how Howie Roseman now and again rolls. Queen is considered even better than Kenneth Murray on some groups' boards, and I might perchance maybe watch Philadelphia going with an instantaneous sport-changer on protection. Despite staunch one big season at LSU, Queen tore it up, and might perchance wander sideline to sideline with ease. This would be a huge swing -- especially with Justin Jefferson peaceable on the board -- however I deem the linebacker group is loads thinner than the receiving corps.
College: LSU | Year: Junior
Commerce Stefon Diggs and discontinue up with Jefferson with one of many four picks bought? Not rotten if it actually works out this method for Minnesota. Jefferson assign apart up learn about-popping numbers closing season at LSU, however there were skeptics on his mosey heading into the mix. He then ripped off a 4.43 40-yard poke, dazzled in interviews and showed why he's the fourth-supreme wideout -- on the least -- on this draft.
College: FAU | Year: Senior
First time you rep considered Bryant's name within the principle spherical of a mock draft? Don't be afraid -- I'm in a position to look at it going down. Original England has tried to to find Jared Cook and Hayden Hurst in again-to-again offseasons, and not using a success. Bryant is a huge physique who can both make a choice balls and block. He isn't Gronk, however nobody is. What he can be is a constructing block for whomever Bill Belichick and Josh McDaniels groom to be the QB of the long term.
College: Arizona Issue | Year: Senior
The like for Aiyuk in league circles is loads stronger than what we're hearing within the media. In speaking with just a few GMs, even with the deep wideout class, Aiyuk is anticipated to attain off the board in Spherical 1. I've bought him going to Original Orleans, a team that has very few holes, however might perchance maybe use one extra receiver if the Saints are going to make a poke for Drew Brees' elusive 2d Neat Bowl ring this season. Michael Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders and Aiyuk would personal a actually dreadful 1-2-3.
College: Boise Issue | Year: Junior (RS)
I rep not considered Cleveland mocked to transfer within the principle spherical anyplace else yet, however the 6-6 tower had an famed mix, and I've heard he's been substantial within the virtual interviews throughout this process. There is legit top-20 talk about around his name now, however I deem 25 to the Vikings appears to be like to be a licensed fit.
College: Georgia | Year: Junior
I purchased crushed (nearly!) by Dolphins fans for slotting Swift to them with this secure in my closing mock draft, however I'm sticking with it. Swift does it all and might perchance impact Miami's offense in a mode that Josh Jacobs did for the Raiders a year ago. He'll be the supreme participant available here, and whether or not the market price of running backs has diminished or not, that have to not impact rookies who will make far not up to veterans shopping for 2d contracts. Swift is advanced, rapid, solid and might perchance both make a choice and block. He'd be a substantial addition to Miami's backfield.
College: Penn Issue | Year: Junior
Notorious-Matos is 6-5, 266 kilos and an athletic specimen. Penn Issue's supreme defensive lineman over the closing two years can to find to the passer and discontinuance the poke. I fabricate not watch him escaping the principle spherical. The Seahawks need extra juice off the brink, even supposing they within the slay discontinue up re-signing Jadeveon Clowney.
College: Iowa | Year: Junior
The Ravens fabricate not transfer up and peaceable to find one of many top defensive linemen on this class. He's 6-5, 275 kilos and all business. A flexible athlete who, in his high college days, used to be all-convey in soccer, all-convey within the discus and a 1,000-point scorer in basketball. He made performs as a freshman, and then bought severely better as a sophomore and a junior. The adoring note on the mix used to be that he performs "mean." Ravens DC Don "Wink" Martindale is at risk of be the supreme match.
College: Georgia | Year: Sophomore (RS)
Born in Brooklyn, Original York, Wilson took his talents to Athens, the attach he used to be one of many most agile offensive linemen in college soccer a year ago. With the shortcoming of Jack Conklin and a substantial have to support giving Derrick Henry the rock in Arthur Smith's offense, this can make loads of of sense. Google Wilson's high college pictures. He's about 300 kilos and takes snaps as a Wildcat quarterback.
College: Texas Tech | Year: Senior
Lightning-rapid linebacker who fought through a shoulder damage to poke on the mix for scouts (posting a 4.54 40). Blake Martinez is now not in Inexperienced Bay, so here is his replacement. This class' substantial WR depth enables the Packers to address that need later on.
College: TCU | Year: Junior (RS)
The 49ers will rep the telephone traces (or whatever personal of communication groups are using on this virtual draft) originate here, as they fabricate not preserve a 2d-, third- or fourth-spherical secure for the time being. That is an very supreme role for a team that desires to alternate up and stable that fifth-year option on a first-spherical secure. If the 49ers preserve assign apart, I watch Blacklock as a licensed fit. He's now two years eliminated from a 2018 Achilles damage and is seemingly one of many few dominant interior defensive linemen within the draft. Is he DeForest Buckner? No. Not yet, on the least.
College: Michigan | Year: Junior
The Chiefs are returning 20 of 22 starters subsequent season. In assorted words ... learn about out! In the occasion that they decide to transfer supreme participant available, Ruiz might perchance maybe additionally very well be that man. In a position to taking half in either heart or guard, he's an brilliant participant who can both support offer protection to Patrick Mahomes and be a mauler within the poke sport. Kansas Metropolis can scoot anyplace with this secure, however offensive line is by no method a rotten different.

Chapter 22 - A spark of life.
Episode 4. Dalton: *He mumbled soft and sat up slowly, looking around a bit confused* where did they go? Alex: ...... uhhhh Wyatt: They had to go home *he smiled friendly as he quickly stepped forwards and reached a hand to Dalton* Let me help you up Dalton: *He hesitated a bit, then grabbed Wyatt's hand and dragged himself up* Thanks *his voice sounded tired and he looked just as tired as he sounded* Who.... who are you guys? Alex: Friends? *he smiled friendly* we were at the show, and on my way home I found you here in the alley, you were pretty far gone. I think your band members left? Is there anywhere you can sleep for the night or? Dalton: *He frowned soft and pressed a hand against his temple, trying his best to keep up with it all* Uhhhh wait... I don't... they left? Travis: Yeah, with the bus... Dalton: ....... fuck Alex: *He tried to smile as friendly and inviting as possible* Well I'm Alex, and this is Wyatt and Travis.. you can crash at my place, if you want, we were just about to get a cab out of here anyway... I have a guest room with private bath... Dalton: *He looked a bit suspicious at the 3 of them* Alex: .... food.. water... it's much safer than a cold alley... and it's only a very short cab ride away... Dalton: ...... how short? Alex: A couple of minutes.... Dalton: *He sighed soft and nodded* yeah... okay... Alex was it? Alex: Yeah *he smiled soft* Dalton: *He slowly reached a hand towards Alex* Dalton.
Raven: What happened back there? *He looked at Andy with a curious frown as they were back in their hideaway*
Andy: Nothing? *he shook his head lightly* it doesn't matter...
Raven: It looked like it mattered....
Andy: *He sighed deep* Maybe it did? But I can't concentrate on that right now. At the moment, what matters the most, is that you are safe and here *he smiled soft* anything else has to wait for another time.
Adrian: Where are you taking me? *he looked at Sam through narrowed suspicious eyes*
Sam: Does it matter, as long as we get the privacy you want?
Adrian: I have a feeling I'm about to regret this?
Sam: *He chuckled soft* Probably...
Adrian: *He sighed deep* Fine, whatever, as long as I get some privacy with you.... and no sisters to stick their heads in an interrupt *a low rumbling from inside him slowly escaped*
Sam: *He chuckled soft* No sisters where the portal will take us, I promise....
Adrian: *He nodded soft* Good, that's a start at least *he grunted soft*
Sam: Can you walk through the portal?
Adrian: What are the other options? *he snorted cynically*
Sam: Well... I could carry you *he smiled rather amused*
Adrian: *He glared soft* I'll walk, thank you...
Sam: *He chuckled warmly and offered a hand to Adrian* something to hold onto?
Adrian: *He hesitated for just a second, then grabbed Sam's hand, holding it tight, but didn't say a word*
Sam: *He tried his best to keep his excitement inside, then took a step forwards to the portal* Let's go!
Adrian: *On the other side of the portal, he looked around a bit, questioning where they had landed themselves*
Sam: We're in Romania *he said in a lowered, careful voice*
Adrian: ....... *he sighed soft* so the clinic.... why do I feel like this is an ambush, Sam? *he let go of Sam's hand and took a rather painful step backwards*
Sam: *He frowned soft at Adrian's missing hand in his* It's not... and it's not the clinic... yes, we are technically close, we are on the land that belongs to the clinic, but that land is pretty vast, and we wont run in to anyone, unless we want to. We're safe here, and no one will bother us... and I was thinking *he looked at the forest surrounding them* once dawn sets in, we could take a look at our surroundings... it's very peaceful and full of lush nature... I think you would like it here... *He sighed soft* Look I am not recruiting you or anything like that, but you have to take a look at it sooner or later, so I thought we might as well get it over with? *he smiled a bit apologizing* I'm sorry.... I should have asked you first...
Adrian: Yes... and the answer would have been no *he took a deep slow breath* but I also get why you did it... and since we're here... I guess... I will give it a shot.... for you *he sighed soft* but if I hate it, I'm leaving.
Sam: *He smiled soft* We're both leaving then, and you will never have to come back, I promise.
Adrian: *He looked a bit suspicious at Sam* no more surprises....
Sam: *He nodded soft* No more surprises.
Adrian: *He grunted soft from pain* Where do we go then? *he looked at the surrounding nature*
Sam: Well, you can't really see it from where we stand, but there's a hidden cabin just over here... can you make it by foot? It's about a minute or two by foot in your current tempo... just below this hill we stand on...
Adrian: Can I just lay down and roll?
Sam: *He chuckled warmly* Well... yeah... but the offer of getting carried also still stands *he smirked teasingly*
Adrian: *He rolled his eyes* I'll walk
Sam: *He hesitated a bit, wanting to offer his hand again, but wasn't sure he could handle a rejection again*
Adrian: *He hesitated a bit as well, then grabbed Sam's hand, squeezing it gently* You lead the way...
Sam: *He smiled soft and nodded* Straight ahead...
Adrian: *He nodded soft and slowly took a step, grunting soft from pain*
Sam: I hate this... seeing you in pain...*he sighed soft and squeezed Adrian's hand, gazing at him, his eyes full of love*
Adrian: *And in that moment, he could swear he felt his heart take an extra beat*
Alex: We're here *he smiled soft at Dalton sitting on the backseat of the cab* If you still wanna come in? Or I can take you to a hotel?
Dalton: I don't have any money on me....
Alex: I'll pay
Dalton: You don't have to *he frowned rather uncomfortable*
Alex:..... it wouldn't be an issue. And they would have a phone so you can call your band, maybe they could come pick you up?
Dalton: *He looked out the window, starring rather blank at the house next to the parked car, trying to decide if he trusted the stranger or not*
Alex: If you're uncomfortable with this, perhaps it's best I at least drop you off somewhere public, warm and safe?
Dalton: *The thought of spending a night god knows where wasn't appealing either, so as the by now impatient cab driver started drumming his fingers against the steering wheel, he made a quick decision* You have a spare room?
Alex: With it's own bathroom and a lock on the door, you don't have to spend time with me at all, and if you lock the door, I can't even bother you.... *he smiled as friendly as possible* it's just me and my cats
Dalton: You have cats?
Alex: Yes, you're not allergic, are you?
Dalton: No, I have a cat too... Banana
Alex: *His face lit up* Really? That's great!
Cab driver: Really great *he mumbled irritated*
Dalton: *He snorted soft, still somewhat drunk* Yeah, okay... I think we better get out
Alex: *He chuckled soft* Yes, that's probably a good idea, let me just pay...
Adrian: *As they walked through the door of the small cabin, he couldn't help but wrap his arms around Sam and kiss him passionately*
Sam: *He moaned soft and welcoming, quickly fumbling to turn on a small light so they wouldn't stumble in the dark* I love you *he whispered against Adrian's lips*
Adrian: I.... want you....
Sam: *He chuckled soft between kisses* I want you too.
Alex: *As he had locked them into the house, he smiled warmly at Dalton* This is obviously the kitchen, take whatever you need, nothing is off limit... if you follow me upstairs, I'll quickly show you to the guest room *he gestured gently in front of him*
Dalton: *He nodded soft, but was nervously tucking at his sleeve* Yeah...
Alex: *He nodded once and confirming, then led Dalton to the stairs and up to the second floor* The only room at ground floor is the kitchen... up here I have my living room, it's just through here, there's a big bathroom as well... Over there *he gestured at a door* is my bedroom and private bath... in here *he gently pushed a door open* is the guest room... It's not too fancy, but there's a comfortable bed to sleep in and a clean bathroom *he smiled soft* There's towels in the dresser at the foot end of the bed, the sheets are clean, and there's a laptop in case you want to contact someone... and most of all there's a key in the door, and it's the only one, I don't have a spare, so if you find the whole situation creepy, feel free to lock the door, I wont disturb you unless there's a fire or something like that *he smiled soft* I promise you are perfectly safe here, Dalton.... I'm not some old pervert, despite the hair and beard *he gestured at his gray hair* It's dyed *he sighed soft* although after the evening I have had, I guess I might as well just dye it back to it's usual dark brown*he chuckled soft*
Dalton: *He squinted his eyes questioning*
Alex: Don't worry about it, just a failed date...
Dalton: .......
Alex: ..... this... this isn't the date I am referring to, just to be clear...
Dalton: ..... I didn't think it was? *he pulled his shirt a bit awkward*
Alex: Yeah... sorry... I'm not used to people being uncomfortable in my company, I guess it makes me nervous?
Dalton: ...... I'm always uncomfortable
Alex: *He chuckled soft and warm* alright, I'll get out of your hair, I'll bring a tray up with something to drink and eat, and otherwise I'll get out of your way. I'll probably go hang in the living room for a while with a glass of red before bed.
Dalton: *He nodded soft, clearly not knowing how to respond to it*
Alex: right... I'll knock the door and just leave the food out here
Dalton: *He nodded soft* ..... thank you... Alex.
Alex: *He smiled soft* No problem, Dalton. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Raven: *His eyes turned blood red, as he allowed his claws to sink into his victims neck, observing his father beneath him, as if he was nothing but a prey and he himself nothing but a predator, devoid of any emotion* Are we done?
Andy: *He sat whimpering in a corner*
Bree: Bran!
Raven: I said, are we done? *he snarled at his father*
Roy: I thought you were just getting started?
Raven: I'm gonna fucking kill you!
Roy: In front of yerr mother?
Raven: I don't give a shit!
Roy: Nah, you never did care much aboyt anyone else but yeself, an that's why yerr always starting some sort of trouble, as a matter of fact, while yeh were gon, yeh mum and ah had this conversation, that life would 'ave been a lot easier, had yeh never been born...
Bree: ROY!
Roy: As a matter of fact, ah shed probably just of taken care of it mehself when I found out she was pregnant with yeh. We wanted a girl anyway, we alrady had two perfect boys!
Ronan: That's enough!
Roy: Oh come on, weh'ave all been thinking it at some point, Brandubh always gets in trouble, an then all the family has to throw everything in their hands to make it all better again, it's always been that way, one letdown after-
Bree: THAT'S ENOUGH ALROY!!!
Raven: *A loud agonizing roar escaped him as he slashed his claws through his fathers chest and blood splattered everwhere*
Roy: *In a quick move he was on top of Raven, and now he was the one with his hand on his son's throat* I might as well just end the family disappointment here!
Ronan: DAD!!!!
Bree: ALROY!!!!!
Raven: *He looked at his dad with teary eyes* do me the fucking favor!
Andy: NO!!! *He threw himself on the floor next to them, somehow managing to shield Raven with most of his upper body* Fucking stop! *He whispered soft between his sobs* both of you!
Bree: ALROY!!! DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE, IT WILL BE THE END OF US ALL!
Ronan: DAD!!! *He stood next to them, placing a hand on his dad's shoulder* One move from you....
Roy: what yerr going to do son? *he looked up at Ronan with a wide grin*
Ronan: *He looked at his dad with an authorial frown*
Eonan: Nothing I haven't already done *he said, as he suddenly stood behind his dad, and leaned over, pressing a finger against the back of his father's neck, and in an instant the man fell limp over Andy's back* I'll take him to Belphegor *he said in a firm voice as he looked at Ronan, knowing the only right thing was for Roy to face the head of the family*
Ronan: *He nodded confirming*
Eonan: *He looked at Bree, and forced a soft smile* I'm sorry
Bree: Not I, get him out of meh face! *she said with an angry frown*
Raven: *A loud hollow sobbing escaped him as Eonan disappeared with Roy, and the weight on top of him was suddenly only Andy's*
Bree: Oh mah sweethearrrt!
Ronan: Mom, I'm sorry, but not now, please.
Bree: *She frowned and was just about to protest, but instead turned around and headed into the kitchen*
Ronan: *He kneeled down next to the two boys on the floor, stroking his brother's hair* Raven *he spoke in a soft, loving voice* Those words he said are not true, I hope you know that? We all love you very much...
Raven: *He nodded soft, but the tears in his eyes spoke the truth, for in this moment, he couldn't believe any sweet words at all. I'm sorry *was all he managed to say, before he disappeared*
Andy: *He curled up in a sobbing ball on the floor as Raven was gone*
Ronan: Andy *he sighed soft as he stroke the blue haired boy's back* It's okay... he's home in his room... right now everything is just very overwhelming for him, we need to give him a bit of time. Usually when he's in that mood, the only ones that can get near him are Eonan and I, so try not to take it personal.
Andy: I'm not! I'm just scared he's going to disappear again!
Ronan: No *he spoke in a calm voice*
Andy: How can you be so sure?!
Ronan: If he was making a run for it, he would be gone already.
Andy: How do you know he's home? *he sat up, looking suspicious at Ronan as he tried to dry his eyes* You're not the tracker
Ronan: That doesn't mean I can't sense him and his feelings if he lets me. *He sighed soft* How about I bring you and mom home to our place, and then we wait for him to tell us when he has some space for us again?
Andy: *He sniffled his nose and nodded soft* I would like that, please...
Ronan: *He nodded soft and reached a hand to Andy* Let's go get mom then, Eonan can meet us back at home when he's done.
Alex: *As he was done in the kitchen, he carried the tray to Dalton's door, leaving it outside, before gently knocking the door, then he carried his own glass of red wine and his bowl of mixed cheesy nuts and grapes to the living room, and sat down in front of the tv, turning it on before sipping the wine, as he put his feet up*
Dalton: *He slowly opened the door and peeked out, noticing the tray right away. There were a plate with a sandwich, ham and cheese as far as he could see, two water bottles, a bag of chips, a coke, a chocolate bar, and an apple. He smiled soft and picked up the tray, carrying it into the room and placed it on the bed. He starred at it for a moment, then sat down and started devouring it, as if he hadn't eaten for days*
Raven: *He sat quiet on his bed as someone knocked the door to his room. He didn't answer, he already knew who was coming*
Ronan: May I come in?
Raven: You're going to anyway *he sighed soft*
Ronan: *He forced a soft smile and stepped in, closing the heavy wooden door behind himself* Aye... I think you need to see a friendly face *he slowly walked up to the big bed, and sat down on the edge of it* How are you holding up?
Raven: I'm done crying if that's what you want to hear? *he said with a tired blank look on his face* I'm just... done
Ronan: *He sighed soft and reached towards his little brother, stroking his hair gently*
Raven: Don't do that *he almost sighed in a trance-like voice*
Ronan: Don't do what?
Raven: You know exactly what you are doing *he said in an almost purring tone* how's Andy?
Ronan: In the kitchen with mom and Eonan, eating the world's largest bowl of ice cream *he chuckled soft as he continuously stroke Raven's hair*
Raven: *He moaned soft, feeling his body relax and get really heavy, buzzing tingling sensations spreading through it* Roe...
Ronan: Mh? *he knew exactly what he was doing to his little brother, and he knew he needed it, so he slowly pulled himself up in the bed, so they sat side by side, and wrapped an arm around Raven's shoulders, continuing to stroke his hair to soothe him*
Raven: *He moaned soft and leaned against his brother, burying his face in his armpit for a moment*..... you're... sweaty...
Ronan: Mh... I guess the thought of losing my little brother makes me break some sweat?
Raven: *He took a big sniff of Ronan's armpit before he turned his body a bit, wrapped his arms around Ronan and let himself slide down, face planting into Ronan's crotch*
Ronan: *He chuckled soft, and let his hand travel down Raven's back, stroking him firmly* Don't choke yourself down there...
Raven: *He mumbled something against Ronan's crotch*
Ronan: I have no idea what you just said?
Raven: *A soft chuckle escaped him, before he reached up, grabbed Ronan's shirt and strongly dragged him into bed, then moved around a bit, till they laid face to face* I said, can we just cuddle tonight? As much as you are making me majorly horny, and I appreciate you knowing exactly what I need and what buttons to push, I honestly right now, more than anything else, just need to feel safe.
Ronan: *He nodded soft and smiled, as he reached out stroking Raven's cheek* Whatever you need.
Raven: *He nodded soft and fumbled around, trying to take his clothes off*
Ronan: I thought you just said no sex?
Raven: I didn't say NO sex *he chuckled soft* I simply asked if we could cuddle instead, cause right now it seems more important to me, to be intimate that way.. besides, you know I sleep naked.... and I feel closer to you if.... we're both naked *he smirked soft*
Ronan: *He couldn't help but laugh, then slowly started unbuttoning his shirt* Aye.. I can take a hint.
Raven: *His smirk grew bigger, and for the first time in as long as Ronan could remember, he finally saw a spark of life in his brothers eyes again*

Here’s our first 2-round NFL mock draft of the season
Tumblr media
Goodbye, Super Bowl. Hello, draft season.
The Super Bowl is, like, old news. All that matters now is the 2020 NFL Draft. Well, that and free agency, the future of Tom Brady, a potential new collective bargaining agreement, and contracts for big-name players like Drew Brees, Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper, Jadeveon Clowney, and Byron Jones.
Phew.
But who are we kidding, the draft is what matters the most. So this week, with draft season officially underway, we look at what could happen in the first two rounds, with a possible twist developing with the No. 1 pick.
1. Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Burrow, QB, LSU
Are things getting interesting with the first overall pick in the draft? Burrow said on The Dan Patrick Show that he wants to play for a team “committed to winning Super Bowls.” Former Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer said Cincinnati never really tried to win a Super Bowl. The deeper connection between the two is that Carson Palmer’s brother, Jordan Palmer, is training Burrow in the pre-draft process. Burrow is still the prohibitive favorite, but this is an interesting quarter turn.
2. Washington: Chase Young, DE, Ohio State
There is seemingly less intrigue with the second pick than the first. We haven’t heard from Young in some time, and he’s not the type to slate teams anyway. This is one of the easiest picks to project ever.
3. Detroit Lions: Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn
For as easy as it is to predict Young to Washington, it’s still difficult to get a grasp on what the Lions could do with the third overall pick. This could be a spot for a trade up if Miami gets anxious about missing out on Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The Lions could also go a few different directions if they make the pick. This week, it’s Brown, the brutish defensive lineman who pushes blockers around with ease.
4. New York Giants: Jedrick Wills, OT, Alabama
Wills is a pro-ready run blocker, which is a good thing for a franchise that took a running back with the second overall pick in the draft two years ago. And while he’s not quite as accomplished as a pass blocker, Wills’ athleticism leads you to believe he should develop just fine in that area.
5. Miami Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama
The Dolphins need Tagovailoa, even if he sits a season behind Ryan Fitzpatrick. The question is whether or not they’ll take him at No. 5. With three first-round picks this year, the Dolphins have plenty of ammunition to do whatever they want.
6. Los Angeles Chargers: Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa
Let’s go full weird with this one and say the Chargers somehow land Tom Brady. It’s ridiculous, of course, but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport floated the possibility. If that’s the case, the Chargers could wait yet again to draft a quarterback early. Then, landing Wirfs would be smart. He can slide right into the right tackle spot and finally solve the problematic position for the Chargers.
7. Carolina Panthers: Isaiah Simmons, LB, Clemson
The Panthers have had either or both of Thomas Davis and Luke Kuechly at linebacker since 2005, but now Carolina goes into the offseason needing to address the position. Davis left last year and Kuechly shocked people by retiring on Jan. 14. Simmons, while not a traditional middle linebacker, would make for a nice partnership with Shaq Thompson.
8. Arizona Cardinals: Mekhi Becton, OT, Louisville
Becton in the top 10 and over Andrew Thomas of Georgia might seem strange, but don’t discount it. NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah rates Becton far ahead of Thomas, and he might not be alone.
9. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jeff Okudah, CB, Ohio State
If Okudah drops this far, the Jaguars would pass on offensive and defensive linemen for him. Okudah is a day one starter, which the Jaguars need at cornerback. Other than A.J. Bouye, Jacksonville doesn’t have much at the position.
10. Cleveland Browns: Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia
The Browns need a player like Thomas. In the two years since Joe Thomas retired, the Browns have been an inconsistent mess at left tackle. Andrew Thomas is arguably the best pure left tackle in this draft, and he would help jumpstart a Cleveland offense that was spotty last season.
11. New York Jets: Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama
During the draft process, there is often fluctuation on where we think the wide receivers will get drafted. In 2018, for instance, DJ Moore vaulted over Calvin Ridley to be the first wide receiver selected. If there’s a wide receiver who could jump to the front of the line this year, it might be Ruggs. Even though he was Alabama’s third-leading receiver in 2019, his speed could help him separate from the pack of first-round receivers.
12. Las Vegas Raiders: Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon
If the Raiders decide to move on from Derek Carr this offseason, they could begin their era in Las Vegas with a rookie quarterback. It’s never been Jon Gruden’s nature to rely on rookie quarterbacks, but he might not be able to resist an athletic 6’6 signal caller.
13. Indianapolis Colts: CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma
If Ruggs is the first wide receiver taken, it will lead to a domino effect with the next few wide receivers after him. Even if Lamb gets jumped over by someone else, it’s difficult to see him falling outside the top 15. The Colts could be a landing spot as they look to add a receiving weapon to pair with T.Y. Hilton. Now if only they could find someone to throw the ball.
14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Javon Kinlaw, DT, South Carolina
The Buccaneers may have just taken Vita Vea in the first round two years ago and allowed the fewest rushing yards per game last season, but they could be in need of a defensive lineman. Tampa has several free agents up front, including interior linemen Beau Allen and Ndamukong Suh, and edge players Shaq Barrett and Carl Nassib. Kinlaw is a combination lineman with his size and power to play the run, and athleticism to get after the quarterback.
15. Denver Broncos: Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama
Even if they don’t get Ruggs, the Broncos would do well with another Alabama wide receiver in this draft. Jeudy isn’t the flashiest, but he’s a consistent receiver who makes defensive backs look foolish with his quick cuts on routes.
16. Atlanta Falcons: A.J. Epenesa, DE, Iowa
If Epenesa had better sack numbers last season, his draft buzz might be louder. But after being asked to set the edge and play the run more, he proved his worth as an all-around defensive end.
17. Dallas Cowboys: Xavier McKinney, S, Alabama
McKinney over LSU’s Grant Delpit might seem surprising, but the feeling on this year’s two top safeties could go back-and-forth in the lead up to the draft. McKinney is a capable coverage safety and in nickel situations will come down and play linebacker. While he’s not quite on Simmons’ level in that regard, McKinney’s skill set is attractive.
18. Miami Dolphins (via Pittsburgh Steelers): Josh Jones, OT, Houston
With six picks in the top 70, the Dolphins have a chance to rebuild their entire franchise this offseason. Pairing Tagovailoa with a left tackle like Jones would give Miami an identity on offense.
19. Las Vegas Raiders (via Chicago Bears): Laviska Shenault Jr., WR, Colorado
The Raiders want speed on the outside to take some pressure off running back Josh Jacobs and tight end Darren Waller. That could eliminate Tennessee’s Tee Higgins and LSU’s Justin Jefferson. While both are good receivers, neither is a burner. Even at 6’2 and 220 pounds, Shenault has speed. He’s versatile too. In Colorado, he worked outside and at slot, but also lined up at running back and wildcat quarterback.
20. Jacksonville Jaguars: (via Los Angeles Rams): Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson
After DJ Chark, Jacksonville’s wide receivers are confounding. Chris Conley, the team’s second-leading receiver, caught only 47 of 90 targets this season, which is miserable. Dede Westbrook has caught 66 passes on 101 targets in each of the last two seasons, but only averaged 10 yards per catch in 2019. Higgins is a big-bodied receiver who knows how to go up and get the ball, and is hard to take down after the catch.
21. Philadelphia Eagles: CJ Henderson, CB, Florida
Although the Eagles need to address wide receiver, cornerback is arguably just as big of a hole. Henderson is a man coverage ace who rarely allows first downs and can lock down his side of the field.
22. Buffalo Bills: K’Lavon Chaisson, Edge, LSU
Chaisson is something of a one-trick pony, but that trick is a good one. He is almost exclusively a standup speed rusher off the edge. He doesn’t play with a lot of power or technique. But when you can fly past blockers, you don’t need those things.
23. New England Patriots: Terrell Lewis, Edge, Alabama
If Tom Brady leaves New England, this becomes the most fascinating pick of the first round. You just have to wonder if, at 67 years old, Bill Belichick will want to try and make a go of things with a rookie quarterback. Instead, he could lean into what he knows best by taking a versatile pass rusher like Lewis, who was coached up by someone Belichick trusts in Nick Saban.
24. New Orleans Saints: Jordan Love, QB, Utah State
Somehow, somewhere Love should land in the first round. The fifth year of control on a rookie contract quarterback is just too valuable for it not to happen. Especially regarding a quarterback who might be best served sitting a season to refine his immense talent.
25. Minnesota Vikings: Austin Jackson, OT, USC
This is a pick I’m stuck on, even if it’s this deep into the first round. Jackson is one of the best pass blocking left tackles in this draft thanks to quick feet that help him mirror speed rushers and ride them around the pocket. Kirk Cousins will like that.
26. Miami Dolphins (via Houston Texans): Grant Delpit, S, LSU
If Delpit drops in the draft, the Dolphins shouldn’t hesitate to take him with their third first-round pick. Miami has to make several upgrades to the secondary, and Delpit can help fix a middling, at best, pass coverage unit.
27. Seattle Seahawks: Julian Okwara, Edge, Notre Dame
Okwara may not be a freaky speed rusher like Chaisson, and some prefer fellow Irish pass rusher Khalid Kareem, but he has size and good enough athleticism. Most importantly for Seattle is that Okwara has length at 6’5 and can keep blockers out of his pads. With the right coaching, he can be a steal.
28. Baltimore Ravens: Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU
With MVP Lamar Jackson, the Ravens will go into the 2020 season as one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl. For the most part, the Ravens are set on offense with one glaring problem. That would be a No. 1 wide receiver. Marquise Brown is a good player, but maybe not a lead target. Jefferson could be.
29. Tennessee Titans: Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma
Murray may not be a traditional pass-rushing linebacker, but he can do enough to be a worthwhile pick for the Titans. Murray has good speed for a linebacker and can be an asset on blitzes.
30. Green Bay Packers: Patrick Queen, LB, LSU
Packers linebacker Blake Martinez is a free agent, and Green Bay could let the tackling machine walk. While his tackle numbers are impressive — an incredible 443 the last three seasons — he just doesn’t make a lot of splash impact plays. Instead of paying him, the Packers could replace him with Queen, a high-level athlete with range.
31. San Francisco 49ers: Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama
If the Super Bowl showed one thing about San Francisco’s defense, the team has some questionable play at cornerback. Diggs is a little raw, but it’s hard to say no to a 6’2 cornerback with athleticism and physicality.
32. Kansas City Chiefs: Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU
While Chris Jones is Kansas City’s biggest free agent, it cannot be discounted that the team could lose cornerbacks Bashaud Breeland and Kendall Fuller this offseason. If either is gone, and there’s a little run on linebackers late in the first round, the Chiefs could turn to Fulton.
SECOND ROUND
33. Cincinnati Bengals: Brandon Aiyuk, WR, Arizona State
34. Indianapolis Colts (via Washington): Neville Gallimore, DT, Oklahoma
35. Detroit Lions: Jeff Gladney, CB, TCU
36. New York Giants: Zack Baun, LB, Wisconsin
37. Los Angeles Chargers: Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah
38. Carolina Panthers: Jacob Eason, QB, Washington
39. Miami Dolphins: D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia
40. Arizona Cardinals: Marlon Davidson, DL, Auburn
41. Cleveland Browns: Prince Tega Wanogho, OT, Auburn
42. Jacksonville Jaguars: Isaiah Wilson, OT, Georgia
43. Chicago Bears (via Las Vegas Raiders): Cole Kmet, TE, Notre Dame
44. Indianapolis Colts: Yetur Gross-Matos, Edge, Penn State
45. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Lucas Niang, OT, TCU
46. Denver Broncos: A.J. Terrell, CB, Clemson
47. Atlanta Falcons: Lloyd Cushenberry, OG/C, LSU
48. New York Jets: Josh Uche, Edge, Michigan
49. Pittsburgh Steelers: Hunter Bryant, TE, Washington
50. Chicago Bears: Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia
51. Dallas Cowboys: Ross Blacklock, DT, TCU
52. Los Angeles Rams: Curtis Weaver, Edge, Boise State
53. Philadelphia Eagles: K.J. Hamler, WR, Penn State
54. Buffalo Bills: Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU
55. Atlanta Falcons (via New England Patriots): Damon Arnette, CB, Ohio State
56. Miami Dolphins (via New Orleans Saints): Khalid Kareem, Edge, Notre Dame
57. Houston Texans: J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State
58. Minnesota Vikings: Cameron Dantzler, CB, Mississippi State
59. Seattle Seahawks: Adam Trautman, TE, Dayton
60. Baltimore Ravens: Jonathan Greenard, Edge, Florida
61. Tennessee Titans: Raekwon Davis, DL, Alabama
62. Green Bay Packers: Donovan Peoples-Jones, WR, Michigan
63. Kansas City Chiefs (via San Francisco 49ers): Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, LSU
64. Seattle Seahawks (via Kansas City Chiefs): Bryce Hall, CB, Virginia

K. Imani’s 2020 Faves
What a year! I decided to use a fancy planner to keep track of my reading this year and I started off on my usual pace, but with quarantine and a slew of so much literary goodness, I'm on track for a new reading record. I knew this year was going to be a banner year for Black SciFi/Fantasy and I wasn't disappointed. So, of course, this list will be full of Black SciFi/Fantasy because I couldn't get enough!

NFL Mock Draft — 2020
Feel the rhythm! Feel the rhyme! Get on up, it’s mock draft time!
That’s right ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for my annual mock of the 1st Round in the 2020 NFL Draft.
I’m going to start off my article with a little additional information; I will be listing out my top players for each position.
Lets just jump in, shall we…
Quarterback 1. Tua Tagovailoa 2. Joe Burrow 3. Justin Herbert 4. Jalen Hurts 5. Jordan Love
Running Back 1. D’Andre Swift 2. Jonathan Taylor 3. Clyde Edwards-Helaire 4. J.K. Dobbins 5. Cam Akers
Wideout 1. Jerry Jeudy 2. CeeDee Lamb 3. Justin Jefferson 4. Henry Ruggs III 5. Tee Higgins
Tight End 1. Cole Kmet 2. Thaddeus Moss 3. Albert Okwuegbunam 4. Hunter Bryant 5. Harrison Bryant
Offensive Tackle 1. Tristan Wirfs 2. Jedrick Wills Jr. 3. Andrew Thomas 4. Mekhi Becton 5. Austin Jackson
Interior Offensive Lineman 1. Cesar Ruiz 2. Lloyd Cushenberry 3. Netane Muti 4.Nick Harris 5. Joan Jackson
Defensive Line 1. Chase Young 2. Derrick Brown 3. Javon Kinlaw 4. K’Lavon Chaisson 5. Yetur Gross-Matos
Linebacker 1. Isaiah Simmons 2. Patrick Queen 3. Kenneth Murray 4. Zack Baun 5. Willie Gay Jr.
Cornerback 1. Jeff Okudah 2. CJ Henderson 3. Kristian Fulton 4. Trevon Diggs 5. A.J. Terrell
Safety 1. Xavier McKinney 2. Grant Delpit 3. Antoine Winfield Jr. 4. Jeremy Chinn 5. Ashtyn Davis
And kickers and punters obviously don’t matter.
Now, before I jump into the actual picks I know that there are some debatable rankings, mainly at the quarterback and the wideout position.
I ranked Tagovailoa over Burrow because Tagovailoa is a more proven player; he had been a star with Alabama for a few years, while Burrow had one season of greatness, though yes, it may have been the greatest collegiate quarterback season ever it was still only one. It’s also worth noting that he (Burrow) transferred from Ohio State to be the starter at LSU, not compete for the starting position at Ohio State had he stayed. Lastly, is the age; Burrow will be 24 this year, while Tagovailoa has just turned 22.
The other ranking that may catch people off guard is the ranking of Ruggs III being my fourth wideout. To most there is a top tier at the position, that being Jeudy, Lamb and Ruggs III in whatever order. My top tier is Jeudy and Lamb and then the second tier would be Jefferson and Ruggs III. I have Jefferson ahead of Ruggs III solely because I trust the size of a player like Jefferson more than the speed from Ruggs III. Speed is sometimes deceptive; look around at the NFL landscape, how many of the fastest players (at their respective positions) are the best or at the top? Now of course that is an even bigger debate, but for me I’ll trust a guy who is only 0.1sec slower but is a bigger human being.
Now, now is the time!
Let’s get this baby rolling!
Please note, I will not be predicting trades in this mock. Trades are inevitable, though with everything going on in the world this time around I wouldn’t be surprised if there are less trades than typically. My prediction, because that’s what this article is all about, is 5 trades.
Cincinnati Bengals — Joe Burrow, Quarterback Remember what I said about the Tagovailoa comparison above? Forget it! Cincinnati is going all in on the former Heisman, National Champion. Burrow has the ideal size that you want in a quarterback, and though he may be a touch older than the front office would like, with age comes maturity, and Cincinnati needs that and a vocal leader to bring them back to relevancy.
Washington Redskins — Chase Young, Defensive End Arguably the best player in the draft, and if it wasn’t for his (questionable) suspension in the middle of the Buckeyes season he would have set the NCAA sack record. Young is a generational edge rusher and adding him to an already loaded front in Washington will give you 2019 San Francisco vibes when the 49ers added Nick Bosa.
Detroit Lions — Jeff Okudah, Cornerback How does Matt Patrica want to build his team? All signs point to him chasing the successes he had in New England, and though that hasn’t worked for him, he’ll still keep trying… It’s unfortunate for Okudah as he is head and shoulders the top cornerback in this years class with a good combination of length, speed and aggressiveness. Just pull a Jalen Ramsey in a few years, Jeff!
New York Giants — Tristan Wirfs, Offensive Tackle As badly as the Giants need defensive playmakers, taking Wirfs, the most complete offensive tackle in the draft as well as an Iowa alum, seriously, check the track record of Iowa offensive lineman - they are tremendous! Wirfs will help solidify the picks of Saquon and Daniel Jones in the previous two drafts, Dave Gettleman’s job depends on it.
Miami Dolphins — Tua Tagovailoa, Quarterback The last time Miami passed on a shorter quarterback with a major injury the year prior was Drew Brees. Not this time. Tagovailoa is the player that Miami essentially set their sights on WAY back in September when they were getting blown out. Tank for Tua exists solely because of Miami. This is their guy, and if you think some late chatter is going to change their minds then you are dead wrong. Tagovailoa brings excitement and hope back to a Dolphins franchise that hasn’t had it since another Dolphin dawned #13.
Los Angeles Chargers — Justin Herbert, Quarterback Herbert is a calm, cool and collective guy. He’s not a rah-rah guy. I guess what I’m trying to say is, he’s a California guy. He fits the LA market to a T and aside from quarterback, that is exactly what the Chargers need, a market(able franchise quarterback). Herbert has all the intangibles that you want in a quarterback; I would compare him to a more accurate Josh Allen.
Carolina Panthers — Isaiah Simmons, Linebacker Out is Kuechly. In is Simmons. I don’t want to say that Simmons can replace Kuechly right off the bat, but he brings the sideline-to-sideline and passion to the game that is eerily similar. On top of that Simmons has the athleticism to play both safety spots as well as slot corner. Simmons is one of the few can’t-miss-prospects in this years draft. But just to throw some doubt (shade?) in your mind, remember that Seattle thought linebacker Aaron Curry was a can’t-miss-prospect in ’09.
Arizona Cardinals — Derrick Brown, Defensive Tackle First surprise of the draft! Most, if not all, have Arizona taking an offensive tackle to further protect Kyler Murray. I believe that the current offensive line that Arizona has put together is average, but there have been plenty of great offences, Super Bowl winning offences that win with an average o-line. Kyler has the escapability to make an average line good, just look within their division, Russell Wilson has had (at best) an average o-line his entire career. I give the nod to Brown here as it’s the defence of Arizona that needs to step up; aside from Chandler Jones and Patrick Peterson, Arizona needs an infusion of talent on the defensive side to truly soar.
Jacksonville Jaguars — Xavier McKinney, Safety The Jags are an interesting team in this years draft, as they are clearly rebuilding though there are so many positions that need to be filled/upgraded. I want to go offensive tackle here, but going with a pick that makes sense isn’t Jacksonville’s style. Under the Caldwell/Marrone regime defence has been there go-to in the 1st round. McKinney has the ability to play both safety spots as well as corner, he’s a player that can be thrust into the starting lineup and would feel seamless.
Cleveland Browns — Jedrick Wills Jr., Offensive Tackle Cleveland is the biggest beneficiary of Arizona and Jacksonville going against the grain as it’s been no secret that they are in desperate need for o-line help. New head coach Kevin Stefanski knows the difference what a good offensive line can do for a quarterback - just ask Kirk Cousins when he was the OC for Minnesota. Wills Jr. provides Cleveland with a winners mentality and is in the mix for the best tackle in this years draft. It’s a no-brainer.
New York Jets — Henry Ruggs III, Wideout The most glaring needs for the Jets have been offensive tackle and wideout, I went with the latter on this one, but not necessarily the name you thought. Ruggs III gets the nod here as New York and Darnold need a game changer at the wideout position, a true home run hitter. Ruggs III is what Robby Anderson could never develop to be. Adam Gase has a tendency to take risks in the 1st round, he has to hit eventually, right?
Las Vegas Raiders — Jerry Jeudy, Wideout It’s almost poetic that Jon Gruden selects a true number one receiver from Alabama after having a true number one receiver from… Alabama. Look, Gruden just wants to a build a team his way… I don’t want to say that Jeudy is an Amari Cooper clone, but… This is what I wrote about Cooper in 2015 “…Cooper is the best wideout in the draft and has the better hands and route running…”, now I know that wasn’t groundbreaking stuff, but it still holds true for Jeudy.
San Francisco 49ers — CJ Henderson, Cornerback There’s a reason San Francisco made the trade for a premium pick, my guess is that they know how good their defensive line is (plus how expensive it’s getting) but also know how their corners were exposed in the Super Bowl. As good of a corner Richard Sherman is, he’s never been a fast guy and with his speed starting to slip it’s time to find a successor. Enter Henderson who is a well sized corner with the only real issue being his tackling, but on a 49ers defense with their GM being a former DB with impeccable tackling skills, I think he’ll pick it up just fine.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers — Mekhi Becton, Offensive Tackle Easy, easy pick. Tampa needs to protect Brady at all costs. With Becton they easily get the highest ceiling lineman in the draft. Brady has a knack for making his tackles look elite, but with Becton, I don’t think he’ll need to try very hard.
Denver Broncos — CeeDee Lamb, Wideout Denver has been a good landing spot for a wideout, and the chips fall in that direction as well. Lamb is arguably the best wideout in this years class with great hands, route running and body control. He’ll be added to an offensive that could be sneaky good with a ton of young talent; add in Lamb alongside Sutton, Fant and the big arm of Lock and they could be building something special in Denver.
Atlanta Falcons — Andrew Thomas, Offensive Tackle Atlanta is in limbo with this pick, do they go along the defensive line which they have swung and missed too many times, or do they go along the offensive line where they’ve dealt with injuries the last few seasons? Here I’m going with the local Georgia Bulldogs kid, Andrew Thomas. In him, Atlanta finally finds a bookend tackle to pair with Jake Matthews. Atlanta was at it’s best when they were scoring a ton of points, and signing Todd Gurley to a 1-year deal tells me that that is the direction they want to go.
Dallas Cowboys — Cesar Ruiz, Centre Even with a ton of defensive linemen still on the board, Dallas stays true to themselves and drafts the best centre in the draft to replace Travis Frederick to his shockingly but unsurprising retirement. Similar to Tyron Smith back in 2011, Ruiz is a young player at just 20, but with Dallas’ elite offensive line, Ruiz will fit right in and learn from some of the absolute best.
Miami Dolphins — Javon Kinlaw, Defensive Line Miami adds a gem at the 18th spot with Kinlaw, who has outstanding length, size and explosiveness for a man his size. For as bad as Miami was last year, they are building something special down there in South Beach. With the free agent acquisitions and adding game changer draft picks, maybe Flores was right in selling the farm last year to restock in this years draft.
Las Vegas Raiders — Yetur Gross-Matos, Defensive End Mike Mayock loves the potential and the versatility, Gross-Matos (underrated name) gets the nod as he has tremendous upside with the ability to add to his already 6’5 frame. Playing him opposite last years picks in Ferrell and Crosby, Oaklan…uhh Las Vegas starts to build depth along a defensive line that can match up against a trending upward division that is the AFC West.
Jacksonville Jaguars — Kenneth Murray, Linebacker Despite the addition of Joe Schobert, the Jags look to further strengthen their linebacking core. Murray needs development in coverage, though that is typically anchored by Myles Jack. Murray has the potential to develop into a hybrid of Schobert and Jack as he is the perfect blend of athleticism and instincts.
Philadelphia Eagles — Justin Jefferson, Wideout Philadelphia may have shown their hand a little bit in addressing the cornerback position through free agency and acquiring Slay, so it’s no secret (or surprise) that they target a wideout in the 1st round. Jefferson exploded this past year for LSU as he provides the perfect blend of speed, size and hands. He will finally provide Wentz with a reliable, healthy target that he has needed throughout his entire tenure of being an Eagle.
Minnesota Vikings — K’Lavon Chaisson, Defensive Line Out with the old and in with the new! Minnesota and Everson Griffen opted to mutually part ways this off-season and though corner and wideout may be a bigger priority, they are pleasantly surprised to see Chaisson still available this late in the draft. Chaisson already has the move and explosion to excel at the d-end position, the one thing he needs is a bit more mass. The challenge is accept by head coach Mike Zimmer who has a knack in getting the most out of his front seven.
New England Patriots — Zack Baun, Linebacker Baun is the typical do-everything-player that Belichick absolutely loves (though you’d never know). Baun plays best as an outside backer with experience rushing off the edge, think Mike Vrabel in his prime and to a lesser extent, Tedy Bruschi. I know some are thinking Jordan Love here, but I suspect that Belichick is holding on with his belief in Jarrett Stidham; I also believe that if Jalen Hurts is available in the second that’s when New England would give thoughts to upgrading their quarterback position.
New Orleans Saints — Jordan Love, Quarterback Drew Brees is done after this year, right? I mean, how much more heartbreak can this man sustain… Sean Payton finally finds the real successor to Brees (sorry Taysom) in Love. Love has the potential and the raw ability to be great in this league, though I do feel he needs a little seasoning, and who better to learn from then one of the all-time greats. Patrick Mahomes has been the lazy comparison for Love, to me I feel he fits more of a Cam Newton mold; time will tell.
Minnesota Vikings — Josh Jones, Offensive Tackle Minnesota has been trying to revamp their line for what feels like a few years now. Jones gives them a potential impact blocker for the future. The knock on him is that he is a raw player that needs to improve in the running game, which can be viewed as a knock as Minnesota loves to run the ball, but with an elusive back like Cook and a more statuesque quarterback in Cousins, Minnesota opts for improvement in the pass game.
Miami Dolphins — Lucas Niang, Offensive Tackle Miami wisely invests in an offensive tackle after securing their quarterback of the future in Tagovailoa. Niang is one of the most well-rounded tackle prospects in the draft, though he doesn’t have eye-popping measurements he has the ability to grow and be a day one starter for the Dolphins.
Seattle Seahawks — Trevon Diggs, Cornerback Seattle is always a hard team to predict, as they either, by an analysts standpoint, reach for a guy that would have been available in later rounds (see Bruce Irvin, James Carpenter, Rashaad Penny…) or they trade out of the spot all together. This year however they take a corner with a ton of upside and can be a bit of hothead and/or vocal (like his brother, Stefon). Diggs brings a ton of athleticism, which is perfect as sometimes his aggressiveness gets in the way.
Baltimore Ravens — Patrick Queen, Linebacker Baltimore missed more than they thought when CJ Mosley cashed in a year ago. Queen has a winning pedigree and will give Baltimore exactly what they were missing when they got gashed continuously by Derrick Henry in the playoffs. Queen isn’t at the Ray Lewis level of linebacker, though I can see him easily matching (if not passing) the level that was Mosley.
Tennessee Titans — Austin Jackson, Offensive Tackle Sometimes it’s as easy as addition from subtraction. Tennessee didn’t want to shell out top dollar for Jack Conklin who, in his own right is a very good tackle, but the price tag was out of reach. Jackson fills the void, and though he has some deficiencies; he has room to bulk and add strength, he won’t be asked to take the premier left tackle spot as Taylor Lewan has that position locked down.
Green Bay Packers — Tee Higgins, Wideout Aaron Rodgers needs another receiver. Aaron Rodgers can’t do it all himself. Aaron Rodgers expresses frustration with his receiving core… There are dozens of these statements and all showcase the same thing, Aaron Rodgers needs help, and that’s ok! Who doesn’t?! Higgins give Rodgers a big-bodied redzone threat that he has never had (at the wideout position). He won’t light you up with his speed, however his catch radius is phenomenal. He reminds me of another former Clemson Tiger, Mike Williams.
San Francisco 49ers — Jeremy Chinn, Safety It was a coin flip between Jeremy Chinn and Grant Delpit. Both are two of the bigger safeties in the draft, and both can play multiple positions, the difference is what those other positions are; where Delpit is more finesse, Chinn brings the hammer as he can play the hybrid safety/linebacker position. Infuse Chinn into a Robert Saleh defence and the potential is endless.
Kansas City Chiefs — Kristian Fulton, Cornerback The lone weakness working against Kansas City is their secondary, they have elite and depth at almost all positions aside from cornerback, nothing close to a lockdown corner. Fulton sticks to his receivers like glue; press coverage is unbelievable. His only real knock is he has above-average speed and was suspended for a year, que the Marcus Peters comparisons. Andy Reid has never been wavered by character issues.
Well there you have it!
Thank you for taking the time to read my prediction for the 1st Round in this years 2020 NFL Draft. If you have been reading since the start back in 2013, thank you for the support.
This year should definitely be an interesting year, as we will be witnessing the first every virtual draft. How will it go down? Will it get hacked? Did the NFL really need to announce that Roger Goodell will be making the picks from his basement which is probably a palace? Tune in!
Enjoy the draft next Thursday ladies and gentlemen! There is literally no excuse seeing as we are all locked inside, and unless Netflix releases Tiger King: The Exotic Return, we’ll all be tuning in #ratings

Fox news Three-round mock draft: Tua to Redskins - NFL.com
Tumblr media
Fox news
Tua Tagovailoa at No. 2. It could perchance perchance well furthermore happen!
The Washington Redskins face the identical spot that the Arizona Cardinals encountered in 2019 with Josh Rosen and Kyler Murray: Attain they alternate the quarterback they drafted in the valuable round a one year ago (Dwayne Haskins, on this case) and seize a extra proficient participant on the spot?
In this mock, I pronounce yes. Contemporary head coach Ron Rivera has to form the name that is ideal for his crew's future. He can no longer effort in regards to the resources historical on players earlier than he arrived.
Coaches are below stress to present a success ends in a bustle. They set apart no longer like time to attend for a participant they didn't draft to meet his promise. To paraphrase Invoice Parcells, coaches are on the total no longer too occupied with having their cooking judged on groceries supplied by the outdated regime.
This mock furthermore reveals some diversified blood in Spherical 3 when in contrast with my outdated version, as the NFL Scouting Mix helped pick some tiebreakers between possibilities fighting for positioning in the aid live of Day 2 (Rounds 2-3). As that you simply would possibly compare, I in reality like included a pair of first-round trades and projected compensatory picks for the third round (Picks 97-104) according to free agent departures final spring.
Spherical 1
College: LSU | one year: Senior (RS)
Burrow suggested newshounds on the mix that he'll play for whoever drafts him, knocking down the discuss that he'd refuse to suit up for the Bengals. He has the confidence to lead a franchise to victories -- so long as the abilities around him is sufficient sufficient to encourage his efforts.
College: Alabama | one year: Junior
As I mentioned up top, we now like considered this story earlier than -- fresh coach wants his hang QB in the constructing despite the franchise spending a first-round seize on the spot a one year earlier (SEE: Cardinals in 2019). Tua's abilities will not be any doubt worthy of this seize, and it would be easy to seem at Ron Rivera wanting this young man in the constructing, even though it advance parting with the No. 15 total seize from a one year ago, Dwayne Haskins.
College: Ohio Exclaim | one year: Junior
The Lions are elated to seem on the steady defender in the class tumble to them.
College: Oregon | one year: Senior
PROJECTED TRADE WITH GIANTS. Miami wants a quarterback. Herbert's starter-caliber arm and mobility impressed scouts on the mix. Transferring up one neutral to aid off other ability Herbert suitors will not be any longer an weird transfer -- the Bears made that transfer a pair of years ago to land Mitchell Trubisky.
College: Louisville | one year: Junior
PROJECTED TRADE WITH DOLPHINS. Or no longer it's sophisticated to seem at GM Dave Gettleman passing on a 364-pound tackle who can solidify the offensive line in entrance of the crew's two outdated top picks, QB Daniel Jones and RB Saquon Barkley. I suspect the Giants will win a second-round seize this one year moreover a 2021 center-round seize on this projected alternate.
College: Utah Exclaim | one year: Junior (RS)
Admire suggested newshounds that the Chargers were among the teams he met with on the mix, and L.A. would possibly perchance furthermore fair be prepared to chalk up Admire's high interception total in 2019 (17) to a neutral of the QB attempting to enact too noteworthy for a median crew.
College: Ohio Exclaim | one year: Junior
Four quarterbacks in the live six advance a pair of defensive stars are falling to some cosy teams on this effort. The Panthers positively like a need at cornerback, so Okudah's presence is a godsend.
College: Georgia | one year: Junior
Thomas takes over at supreme tackle for the Cardinals so that Kyler Murray can breathe much less difficult in the pocket.
College: Clemson | one year: Junior (RS)
I don't understand how noteworthy luckier the Jaguars can win. Discovering a top-5 abilities in Simmons sitting here at No. 9 is a decide. The ultra-athletic linebacker can play anyplace.
College: LSU | one year: Sophomore (RS)
PROJECTED TRADE WITH BROWNS. The Falcons transfer as much as win the draft's second-ideal edge rusher.
College: Iowa | one year: Junior
The Jets' O-line is a mess supreme now. Wirfs affords them a substantial protector whether he's at guard or tackle.
College: Oklahoma | one year: Junior
GM Mike Mayock is calling for a receiver who will possible be every productive and a clear impact in the locker room.
College: Auburn | one year: Senior
If the Colts are unable to win their quarterback here, then touchdown the draft's top defensive tackle is a nice comfort prize.
College: Alabama | one year: Junior
Wills would be a gentle fetch to change supreme tackle Demar Dotson if the free agent will not be any longer re-signed.
College: Alabama | one year: Junior
Uniting the silky tender weak Tide receiver with Courtland Sutton would be vast for Drew Lock's say.
College: South Carolina | one year: Senior
PROJECTED TRADE WITH FALCONS. The Browns are fortunate to search out a abilities devour Kinlaw here to aid them mend their porous bustle defense.
College: Florida | one year: Junior
Byron Jones would possibly perchance furthermore fair depart in free company, leaving a void at corner for Dallas. Henderson is a fluid mover and can play the ball.
College: USC | one year: Junior
Jackson fills the outlet at left tackle that used to be created when the Dolphins shipped Laremy Tunsil to the Texans earlier than final season.
College: LSU | one year: Junior
The Raiders can high-tail this intense, athletic playmaker into the center of their defense for the following numerous years.
College: Alabama | one year: Junior
The Jags must level-headed level-headed be looking out for out tear catchers, and the utilization of Ruggs in a Deebo Samuel-devour neutral makes all kinds of sense. Comprise in thoughts that Chris Conley and Dede Westbrook are as a result of turn into free agents in 2021.
College: Clemson | one year: Junior
Including one more playmaker to the receiver corps is a high precedence for the Eagles.
College: Oklahoma | one year: Junior
With the live receivers off the board, the Funds fetch the steady participant readily available. Murray can play outside if the crew retains Tremaine Edmunds in the center.
College: Alabama | one year: Junior
Devin McCourty is a free agent and Patrick Chung is entering his mid-30s, so there is a need at safety. McKinney's a gentle prospect who can operate Invoice Belichick's defense.
College: Washington | one year: Junior (RS)
Drew Brees' resolution to proceed having fun with possible advance that Teddy Bridgewater will transfer on in free company. Head coach Sean Payton would possibly perchance furthermore fair retain in thoughts Eason's ability situation too tempting to tear on.
College: Alabama | one year: Senior
Diggs didn't take a look at on the mix, nonetheless he moved effectively in the on-subject drills and is prepared to fetch on worthy receivers (devour his brother and future teammate -- no lower than on this mock -- Stefon) on the outside.
College: Wisconsin | one year: Junior
The Dolphins invest even handed one of many picks they obtained in the Laremy Tunsil alternate in Taylor, who ran a blistering 4.39-second 40-yard poke at 226 kilos and caught the ball extremely effectively in mix drills.
College: TCU | one year: Junior (RS)
Blacklock joins his weak teammate, L.J. Collier, on the Seahawks' defensive line, which would perchance perchance furthermore compare a mass exodus in free company.
College: Penn Exclaim | one year: Junior
Whereas Imperfect-Matos is on the total belief to be a 4-3 defensive live prospect, he has confirmed he can transfer effectively sufficient when standing on the threshold for the Ravens to retain in thoughts him for their 3-4 defense.
College: Clemson | one year: Junior
With Logan Ryan a free agent, the Titans seize up a gentle corner who can bear the void if he departs.
College: Houston | one year: Senior (RS)
It is unclear if free agent supreme tackle Bryan Bulaga will return to the crew in 2020. Jones would possibly perchance furthermore hunch from the left to the ideal aspect of the line as a rookie.
College: Utah | one year: Senior
San Francisco must add players to the secondary and Burgess' versatility form him a coveted prospect.
College: Georgia | one year: Junior
I don't even are looking out for to imagine how steady the Chiefs' offense will possible be with Swift in the fold.
