Eye Dreamers
A Performance by Sara Debevec and Sara Noe
October 28, 7pm $5-10 donation
Debevec and Noe create an immersive world where the daily habit of observing oneself is transformed into a psychedelic television show with interviews, talkshow banter and human/animal transformation. Tune into the Eye Dream TV Live Feed to see behind the scenes.
Sara Debevec is a multimedia performance artist, writer and curator based in Los Angeles. Her performance practice stems from avant-garde cabaret and she likes to explore themes of gender, identity, belonging, states of being and the anthopocene, through animal archetypes. Her work has been shown in venues and galleries such as The Roundhouse in London, Greenhouse in Berlin, Pioneer Works in New York and Think Tank Gallery, 18th Street Arts in LA.
Sara Noe is a video artist and performer living in Los Angeles. Her work combines nature, lights and moving images to create psychedelic pieces that emanate the feeling of the story rather than the narration. Her work has been shown at festivals such as Broke LA (formerly Brokechella), venues such as Los Globos and galleries such as Human Resources.
