What if the Creator God was the colour of the sunrise and loved his creation. What if he loved watching his world evolve on its own. What if he loved to learn from it..

This is Bryx! Or The Singularity, as he's called. He's such a lovely individual :]

The one who created the world. They acquired their colours during the first sunrise, as they were in love with the beautiful sight. The Singularity watched the world change and evolve on its own, learning so much from their own creation. 

They exist in a realm outside of time, which slowly became to resemble a collection of rooms that (usually) make no sense. They love human architecture, but don't understand that the designs serve a purpose. So they just make rooms that look pretty.

An incident forces them to live among the Earth, where The Singularity takes the name Bryx Argo

The Singularity is a sweetie pie by the way. Very pleasant and not at all aggressive! He (or they, whatever you wanna use) likes learning things!

His realm has a lot of liminal spaces, he likes adding to them whenever he observes a new style of architecture he finds interesting!

Also he's gay. He has a husband (eventually). Because of course the grand deity is always in love, it's my favourite

Bryx Argo Wenlock

A brief look

What if the creator god who was the colour of the sunrise was forced out of his realm and had his powers taken away from him. And then he found a guy and fell in love with him. Anyway his name is Bryx Argo

He's studying the rifts that open up around the world, which he knows lead to his realm, but someone else is behind him since he doesn't have the ability to open those anymore.

He targets Vynn, believing he was the one he saw while he was attacked as The Singularity. Upon finally capturing him, he realizes Vynn not only doesn't have his powers, but has no magic of his own. He feels incredibly guilty and tries to make it up to him. They go on to solve various mysteries together :]

Bryx is, initially, very angry. Upon having his power taken, The Singularity is hurt and upset that his creation, what he loved so so much, would turn on him. His sadness morphs into intense hatred, causing him to decide to end the world and start again, once he obtains his powers again.

The times he spends with Vynn makes him realize though that he doesn't actually hate the world, he wasn't betrayed on the whole, it was just a small group, which ultimately doesn't matter if they appreciate the Singularity or not. Vynn doesn't find out Bryx is The Singularity for a while. Despite that, Bryx learns to love the world again through spending time with him.

Some design notes because I love talking about them!

His glasses are his haloes, they're devoid of light now though and cannot create gateways to his realm. For now, they help him see from his left eye.

His outfit is soooooo tacky on purpose. Bryx does not get fashion. He read the safety requirements, hardly understood them, and then just manifested this weird (and really unsafe) hazmat suit/coat. Vynn is a clothing designer, so he has words for Bryx about his fashion choices.

Bryx sometimes has wings, they're the colour of his head "feathers" when he's The Singularity.

Bryx is tall, but still shorter than Vynn.. hopefully I'll have him drawn soon
