Of Heaven and Fire Part 14

So, I have been so writer’s blocked for this part. I restarted it several times trying to get it right because the part after this flowed like water and you can blame Lover’s Death and Without You by Ursine Vulpine and Annaca, Surrender by Natalie Taylor, Sober by Bad Wolves and especially Pictures by Judah and the Lion featuring Kacey Musgraves for the next few chapters.

Of Heaven and Fire

Part 14

Like Matae predicted, within two weeks, all your suitors bowed out. It was almost comical to see how they would literally wake up one morning and realize- that you were not the woman for them. They were all gracious with their withdrawals and gave many gifts of goodwill. 

You were relieved when Suriel was the first to do so, promptly going after your sister Yaviane who was a little weary at first but once the two got to know each other, realized they were fated and were soon inseparable. And Suriel assured you that if the council were to go after Brock, how he would help you expose them. 

Your elder sister Misia seemed to catch Oriles eyes, while Railtor realized your other elder sister Shakaia was a better fit for him before Cordene was drawn to your other older sister Audrilora who was closer in age to him than you were. 

However at the end of the two weeks, you were still just a little bit anxious to see if the same phenomenon would happen to Brock all while the nightmares intensified, as you were able to see more and more, like a crumbled cloth being smoothed out. However, much to your relief, he did not. Instead he acted towards you the same as before, if not more reassuring that his love for you would never fade. Cordene and Suriel made the cloud cities for the orcs permanent structures and Onvam happily took Vraum to the sister colony who were happy to have him and the fish from his own boats up his own river to them. 

Two months passed and the nightmares grew infrequent and things fell into their new ways easily. Cugas and Kaive were themselves inseparable and Kaive was all too happy to take to the sea with Cugas and fell into the life of a fisherman easily and it was a prosperous time for everyone as you grew to accept that the council never was going to give back Brock’s cloak and with Brock’s insistence, you let it go. 

All your former suitors built a home for you in a cloud, each adding their own touches as a blessing for you. Which you happily accepted and it was soon filled with all kinds of treasures from all the realms and you even made a spot for it to settle in Stormbreaker after the solstice celebration but for now, it was attached to Drauch. 

Usually a week or two before the solstice every woman in the colony seemed to have their period, except for you and your sisters who had started to court their own suitors. Because they themselves didn’t have their moon blood, you thought nothing of it that you did not get yours because you were so focused on making sure your life in Stormbreaker would be as smooth and comfortable as possible besides you were busy teaching Brock the dances since you would be spending your solstice dancing with him and only him. The only problem was that Brock- didn’t have a lick of rhythm. No matter how hard you tried working with him, he would always do it just half a beat off because he was always trying to watch you and mimic you but was just a touch slow about it. But honestly, it didn’t bother you too much because you loved him anyway. 

The day of the solstice, you were so happy, you were with Brock, dancing in the engaged circle where you didn’t switch partners and you still had fun dancing until your feet were sore and when the solstice was done, you spent a whole day resting in your new home wrapped up in his embrace before spending another day just having all the sex you wanted because you were practically married by all standards. 

But the happiness was not to last. The moment you two left the house to get something to eat, Brock was arrested and thrown in prison and the moment he left you, the nightmares came back with a vengence and with an intensity that made you never want to sleep again, no matter how badly your body needed it. 

It seemed Matae had been right, that the council would not let you be with Brock. In retaliation, you demanded that they drop the charges and let you and Brock leave in peace or else you would make good on your own threat. They didn’t think you had the capabilities. But when they denied it, you very publicly made your own accusations to the entire council and with Suriel backing you up and showing the whole colony that what you were accusing them of was true. It didn’t matter what lies they tried to spin, you had them dead to rights and the whole colony revolted against the council because the colony felt just as betrayed as you had been just as this part of the nightmarish prophecy became clear in your mind. 

For another month, there was one huge trial. Every counselor was found guilty of multiple crimes, Matae even came and proved that he had been tasked with stealing all of these orc’s baby’s cloaks on order from the council and how the council had purposefully asked your brother and your brother in law to get the last one because they knew that you would not kill them on sight. It was revealed that not only was Suchi guilty of this, but others, and when the truth was exposed, the colonies themselves felt broken and the guilty councillors were all cast out of the colonies and suddenly all dropped off the face of the planet and could not be found anywhere.  

However through all of this Brock remained imprisoned and the judges judging his case was filled and refilled over a dozen times. But once an honest and upright judge was found from a colony half a world away, you felt like you had a chance at justice for Brock since you were not the one accusing him and his accusers were impossible to find and you hoped that his case would be thrown out. Even though your prophetic dreams showed otherwise. 

But sadly, in Brock’s trial, he and his shaman were still found guilty of the crime of enslaving a moura which was proven even by your own account and theirs because of the physical shackle and rope and both were sentenced to death by hanging and you were put under a special spell to keep you from changing into any form than your human one and if you intervened, you too would be arrested and tried as a criminal yourself for interfering and obstructing of justice. 

So here you were, changing into sackcloth to show your grief before Matae reappeared in the room, looking guilty. 

“What are you doing here?” You asked as you tried to tie a belt around your itchy garment but you were too numb to notice. 

“To offer my apology.” Matae said. “Your life is going to be very hard from here, raising a little one all on your own.” Matae finally said which made you look up at him. 

“What?” You asked. “What little one?” You asked. 

“The little boy in your womb, it’s Brock’s, four months strong already.” Matae answered as you looked at him in confusion. It was true in the last month or so, you seemed to have become a voracious eater and had put on a fair bit of weight because of the stress of Brock’s trial. 

“I’m not...I’m not…” You tried to argue before Matae pulled his own version of lira light and touched your chest before you looked down to see the lights over your womb that were the most beautiful mix of your moura light marks and Brock’s. One way moura’s showed pregancy is a moura baby would have their own moura light marks around them that would show around the womb and you felt your legs give out and Matae managed to catch you and help you sit down on the floor before you broke down into sobs as you clutched at your middle while Matae did his best to comfort you. 

“What if..” You tried to ask but Matae just shook his head no. “No, they won’t change it.” Matae finished for you. 

“What do I do?” You asked. 

“Tell Brock and take care of yourself.” Matae advised. 

After you managed to regain composure you gathered the food you had prepared for Brock, his last meal as Kaive and Cugas helped you carry it and walked with you to the prison to spend the night on the other side of the bars since you were not allowed in the cell with him and you came to see his family on the other side of the bars. In all of this, they never once blamed you for any of this and they were so happy to see you stand up to your entire colony to defend them and especially Brock and you fought for what was right and for justice and you had given it your all, and it still...was just not enough. And they all understood that Brock was sacrificing himself in order to ensure Stormbreaker’s success and glory, sometimes it had to be written in blood before it could be written in gold. 

And Brock- he was surprisingly accepting of all of it. As if he had known all along that this is how it was going to be and he was at peace with it. That to you was what made you furious at first, that he didn’t fight against any of it. He never once fought against those who arrested him or the jailors or the judges or the jury or anything. He was unashamedly honest about everything and freely admitted his guilt and accepted his punishment without fuss or arguing. Like he was a sacrificial lamb being led to slaughter if it meant the rest of his “flock” wouldn’t be, as if securing a greener pasture free from predators that offered all kinds of shelters was the ultimate goal. His only regret was that you would be so hurt by his death and he urged his family to comfort you and care for you in his absence. 

“There’s the love of my life.” Brock tried to coo at you as he gave you the most loving adoring smile as he reached for you through the bars as you went to him and grasped his hands as you simply returned his adoring look the best you could before you broke down and wept again as he did his best to hold and console you through the bars as the food you prepared was added to the other food the rest of his family made as he sat down as close to the bars as he could be as you sat next to him as it was the last full family meal. 

It was so surreal, that if the bars had not been there, everyone acted as if they were back at home, talking like they usually did and sharing the meal like they were used to, still telling stories and legends as each person tried to come up with ways of telling this story to the future generations and were able to put such a grand and proud spin on such sad circumstances until it came around to you. 

“When this story gets told, it should be told like this...” you began, your throat tightening as you forced a brave smile through your tears as you squeezed Brock’s hand extra tight. 

“Since the dawn of time, firebirds would come and breathe fire on the lands, the fires consuming everything it touched, pushing the clans to the seas. And even there, the firebirds dove to eat the fish right from the nets. The clans could only look and see the golden nests the firebirds built in the tall mountains, glittering like a jewel, forever out of reach. But there was a wise warchief who decided to catch the firebirds. Now to catch one he had to be quick, cunning and strong, for firebirds are never caught in traps, not of wood or of iron, but the wise warchief used silver which worked it’s charm. With his silver trap he climbed the mountains, and krept through the scorched earth. He caught a young fledgling by surprise in his silver trap and brought it home. To the firebird he revealed the devastation the fires brought and how so few fish were caught because the firebirds took even them. And in turn the firebird revealed herself and the secrets of the firebirds and how to make golden nests that fire can not burn or destroy. And with these secrets the warchief built his clan with fireproof gold so that nothing would ever destroy it. The warchief used kindness with the firebird instead of revenge and it brought the clan a blessing hundred fold. When he let the firebird go, she stayed. She chased off the others so that the ground could heal and bear its fruit and grains. She invited the sea to give up it’s treasures until there was no more want. She blessed the warchief and he blessed her.” You emphasized as you brought Kihro’s hand over to rest on your lower belly as your voice cracked with the flood of emotions and the meaning behind your words were not lost on anyone and soon everyone cheered which made you laugh through your tears as you were practically swarmed with hugs and congratulations and questions on how you knew before you turned on your lira light to show them the baby and turned Brock’s on to show how it was a boy and it was his. 

“Dad, her child is going to be my only heir and the next warchief.” Brock insisted as everyone agreed before everyone took turns to invent legends to tell the little one about their great father once they came into the world and you fell asleep, laying on a bed roll on the prison floor, with Brock laying behind you, his arms through the bars to wrap around you, his hand never leaving your belly. His words of love and encouragement filling your ears. Thankfully your last night with him was filled with blissful, restful sleep. 

Come morning, you and Brock’s family were escorted out of the prison before you went out into the courtyard of justice where the gallows were as you sat down and prepared yourself for what was to come as the colony came out to witness it. 

Your eyes were too flooded with tears to really see Brock clearly as he and his shaman were led out as you squeezed Rhosland’s hands so tight you feared they would break when all of a sudden a clear shield enveloped the crowd and dragons, being rode by Kaive and Matae flew down and breathed fire over Brock and the Shaman before the nuses could be hung around their necks, the moura’s tasked with executing them fleeing for their lives because the fires were so hot and intense that Brock and his shaman were instantly turned to ash along with the gallows and the ground was scorched. 

It all happened so fast, within the span of a heartbeat and the dragons took to the air and went back to their caves immediately and you just sat in stunned silence before a Zirvush tree grew at your feet and delivered Brock’s gold moura collar but the moment you touched it, it turned to ash and you were left holding ash in your hands. 

You were both saddened yet relived, because if Brock could be reborn in the ashes, he could return to you. This way- justice was served with mercy. 

So you waited until the shield lowered when the temperatures of everything cooled and you still sat there and you waited. You waited to see if he would rise from the ashes. 

And you waited, and waited, and waited. One by one and then family by family and group by group the colony left and returned to their normal lives. Even Brock’s clan left the site and returned to Drauch with their heaping piles of gold. Some food vendors even came and brought food for you to eat while you waited which you were thankful for, since you knew you had to take care of yourself in order to care for the little one in your womb. 

You waited until the sun went down and you lit torches over the ashes to illuminate them so that if they stirred, you would see it. You stayed up all night and by dawn you had passed out, and when you woke up, Kaive had returned to you and kept vigil for you and when you woke with a start, Kaive was there to assure you that you didn’t miss anything. That nothing stirred in the ashes. 

Then a storm came and you didn’t want the ashes to get swept away and scattered in the run off so you swept up every bit of ash and put it into huge jars before Brock’s family brought the jars of ash into your home and you left Suchi, flying your home back to Stormbreaker and settling it down in it’s spot that you and Brock had prepared for it. You then took the ashes and scattered them over the land around your home, offering every prayer to every god, even Zirvush, to return Brock to you and that hoping that the fact that his ashes were now at his home, he would rise now. 

No sooner had you scattered them before a rainstorm came, big fat raindrops drenched the earth and you had to take shelter in the house and watch and wait until it grew dark. 

Lightning struck outside your home and you went out to see the Shaman had risen from the ashes as a dragonborn orc, which to you felt appropriate since moura’s and dragons would always be allies and the clan was overjoyed that their spiritual leader had returned to them and it gave you hope that Brock would return too. 

Come morning, the ground around your house was thick with all sorts of vegetation, spices and fruits and vegetables and all kinds of grains grew around the house and even grew out, from there, even a Zirvush tree had grown and on it’s branches were the bronzed collars of all the councilers who had sinned against the orcs and you knew that Matae had killed them in vengence for you over his own guilt. You would make a crown of the collars for Brock to wear once he returned. 

The whole clan called out for Brock before they noticed a mighty golden eagle flying over the clan before it landed and transformed into Brock who was shaken and dazed and confused as to how he had been a bird before everyone swarmed him. So grateful he had come back as they all made way for you to go to him and hug him. 

But instead of returning your hug, he froze. 

“Uh, excuse you” Brock frowned in confusion as managed to pull you off of him and looked at you like he didn’t know you and didn’t like it that someone he didn’t know was hugging him. 

“Brock, do you know who I am?” Rhoslan asked, wondering if he had some kind of amnesia. 

“Of course I know who you are mom,” Brock frowned before he started naming everyone off that was around him. 

“But I don’t know you.” Brock said as he continued to frown at you.

MC House Challenge! ❤️💛💙💚

This is  @kyril-hphm​ ‘s amazing idea!  I wanted to do it daays days ago but... Some shit happens everyday right? And ı also wanted to try different style to draw hairs, ım sure one day ım gonna figure it out. (ı realized ı made their eyes color wrong...damn.)

So here ı am with my girls!

Gryffindor Night ❤️

She is LOUD. You think Slytherin Night is loud enough? Just wait to hear this Gryffindor's voice. Bill use her in the mornings when a few Gryffindor couldn’t wake up in the time. Also need a silent moment in the common room? Just ask her, ım pretty sure even Ravenclaw Tower can hear her "Shut the fuck up!"

Also yes, this Night is not shy about swearing. But she is mostly creating absurd swear sentences. "For the fuck sake Merula, ı dont give a fuck about your fucking power GO AWAY AND FUCK SOMEBODY ELSES EAR WİTH ALL YOUR SHİT" As you can guess, she is bff with Merula.

İf you cant hear her voice, there is 2 possible place she can be. Quidditch Pitch and detention.

She is playing as a Chaser and this is the one of the only way to shut her up. Like Rath, she let her skills speak for her.  Even its just a practise, Night is always so focussed in game, sometimes her looks scaring Charlie away. She really loves Quidditch, this adrenaline. Oh and she loves the victory of course. That makes her second Skye. Poor poor Orion..

For the detention part, she is in there more than she is in  her own dorm room. Unlike Slytherin Night, she is a fan of Tonks and Tulip's pranks and loves to mess with grumpy Filch. Also detention is not that bad. With Jae here, there is always a way to have fun. Charlie always says that one day Night and Jae's closeness will blow their towers up. Everyone is just waiting for this day. Even McG.

Lets talk about her relationship with Jacob. They were really close when they are little. Because of their last name's bad popularity (ım planning to explain this later), they didnt have any friend other than each other. When Jacob left home, she lost not just her brother but also her best friend too. (Lucky for her, in Hogwarts there will be Rowan)

She dyed her hair red right before coming Hogwarts. To show everyone how she is gonna be Gryffindor just like her brother. Also while everyone talking shit about Jacob, Night refused to believe her precious brother can do something bad like that.

giggles Wanna gossip about her? Like her best friend ,she has a big fat crush on Bill. You should see how she blush when Bill compliment her. She cant help it he is "too fucking cool"!

Night and Rowan spend so many nights to talking and fangirling about him. But after realizing that he see her as a sibling,  not a lover, she was a little heartbroken and tried to date some other guys who is like him. She ended up single of course, because no one can be perfect like him.

İf you want chaos, Gryffindor Night is your girl!

Hufflepuff Night 💛

My favorite thing about this Night is her smile. İts so warm and full of love..I should admit she is the purest Night but she is too good for her own. This is the why she is entire Hufflepuff's little sister. Especially Diego's. But nor she or me can decide that he fancy her or just love her as a little sister. you know, because its Diego...

Not so suprisingly ,She loves to take care of her friends, just like Orj Night, but this girl is doing it more serious. She is the mom friend of their group. She is gonna make sure you eat all your meal and drink enough water. And if you didnt, well you need to deal with her.  Also Night will remind you to take right books for your class if you two have same class. "Did you study for todays quiz? Oh why didnt you?! Come on ı can tutor you! We only got 11 minutes but nevermind that!" Dont worry she got you. Aand One more thing, she has best shoulder to cry. Im not kidding, she will hug you until you feel better and ı can guarentee you that her kind hug and angelic voice will help you calm down.

İn the other hand, Huff Night is not good at handling her own bad emotions. Her anxiety level is a little higher than other Night's.

She is not a "so different" person. İts her words not mine. Being Rhea makes her a little bit special of course but not in the good way. She is just average girl with a unlucky family, thats all. She loves her loved ones more than she loves herself, and always wish that she can be powerfull just to protect them. But sadly she dont believe she can, she is not like Merula. Not that brave or confident . Or Tonks. Not that talented. Or Penny. Not that pretty and popüler. Aah ah, this pure girl has a lot in her mind(or should ı say her heart?) but so shy to talk about them. Damn girl, go and talk about this to Rowan (While you still can...Can you imagine how she break after she cant save her best friend..?)

Enough, İts time to tell you happy thing about her life!   She was very suprised and happy (but mostly suprised) when Merula ask Night to be her date. They started to date in fourth year. (Everyone thanked Night for making Merula more calm and tolerable. Night said that Merula dont need to be tolerated)  Well they have their up and downs of course. Before Rakepick betray them, fifth year was pretty good (Night cried for her girlfriend when she learn about Merula's parent) but unfortunate thing  that  happened in buried vault, made their hearts to apart. Night still love her deeply and wishes  she was powerfull enough to save her from Rakepick so they would still next to each other now.(I know ı said "happy thing". Thats why ı wont tell you that after Rowan's death Night thinks maybe its best if Merula far from her. No ı wont tell you that)

But dont worry about her! She is gonna smile no matter what because her smile can make someone else smile too! İf you love tea and cookie, please let her know your favorite cookie. Her mom sending her delicious Turkish tea and she will be happy to share with you!

Ravenclaw Night 💙

After Slytherin Night, Ravenclaw Night is my second favorite. I really love her general mood.

As you can see, she is the only Prefect Night. And there is simple reason for that, she is perfectionist. She didnt became Prefect because she wants to help others, she became one to make sure everything is right. All other Night helped their Rowan to be Prefect but Ravenclaw Night dont believe that other Ravenclaw's will listen Rowan. She herself is more suited, just like Chester. (She really respect Chester) But dont get me wrong, Night dont underestimated Rowan. She just believe Prefect should be more serious and Rowan's heart is so pure for that.

And unlike Hufflepuff Night, this girl have a lot faith in herself. When Night is doing something, she knows it will be perfect because she wont stop untill its perfect.  

I should warn you about her, she loves to complain. "Damn ı have to do all work. Why cant you do anything  right on your own? İt was easy, even for you. Go and do something else ım gonna finish this one. No stop wait dont do anything. Just. Go."

Just like this,she can easily tell "rude" words. Even if she didnt trying to be rude.  She is just saying whats true! İts not her fault that truth is more bitter than lies. And sorry but truth has to be told. Even if someones heart can get hurt. Lies can make everything worse than a little heartbreak. İts like a poison that tastes good and late effecting. They should thank her for not poisoning them.

Her friends? She dont have a lot. Because of her rude attitude, a lot of people dont get near her often. Fine by her. She dont want "extras" anyways. Her little group of friends is enough for her. Also she have Rowan, right? Rowan is her true soulmate. This two girls can spent hours in library and this is their favorite hang out. Honestly all Night need is Rowan and some book, she can live without any other people, thanks. But she can admit Talbott and Badea are pretty good too. Especially Talbott. He is her second best friend, if she has to give it a number. (This two became friends a little too fast. They have so many similarities. Biggest one is "Fuck Peoples" motto. They even have a ugly t-shirt that saying that. Andre died when he saw it for the first time.)

I think her mom Selina is responsible for Night's reckless behaviour. She was already angry to Jacob for leaving her behind and being ignored by her only parent makes her..ıdk, like that? She tried so hard to make Selina to notice her daughter is still with her.Tried to make her portrait with her pastel pencils, tried to brush her long hair and dressed like a princess, tried to write " I love you" in her mirror.  But little Night's little heart couldnt understand that pain of losing her son (just like how she lose her husband.) When she came to Hogwarts, she give up about her mom." İf a mother dont need to worry about her own child, then ı dont need to worry about anyone else too." But of course, she is not that heartless like she likes to think.

I think you can imagine that other students calls her names. Like "freak" or "selfish" or "egoist". She mostly just ignore them (because she dont believe they are worth to explain why she is not these name) and pretend like nothing had happened, Talbott and Rowan know she actually care and wants to be more "good". More "likeable". She is just making everyone uncomfortable when she walks in and she know it. But there is nothing she can do. İts in her blood. She is just like her mother.

I feel like ı talk too much about bad thing. İts time to tell moments when Ravenclaw Night smile. She dont have a normally smiley face but of course she smile. And you know what? İts mostly because of her boyfriend. This girl has a big soft spot for Barnaby. She literally melt every time he talk. İn the beggining she thinks he is just some stupid Slytherin and not worth lose any time but after being friends (which is a miracle) she can punch you in the face if you call him stupid. (Dont test about how hard she can punch.)

How the heck this boys heart can be this beautiful? Like, boy your parents nothing but shit to you how did you turn into biggest and cutest puppy in the world? And again, how did he love her? I mean, look at Night and look at Barnaby. They are so different and he can be with literally every witch in schooli and yet he is with Night. She dont know what she did to be this lucky but she is not planning to let him go. Just watch her.

(And ı dont know if she will notice you if you dont talk with her. She will talk with you politely at first, dont worry. Just try to not say something about her being bad prefect or something bad about her friends or boyfriend, you will be fine.)

Slytherin Night 💚

It's finally Original Night's turn to shine. How about starting with why she is most masculine looking Night?

İt was because of Selina. After Jacob left, he was the only thing Selina talk about. She talked about how she misses him playing violin, his eyes that he took from her husband, his gentle voice. Unlike Ravenclaw Night, this didnt make our Night angry. İt made her jealous. She decided that if she wants to make her mom happy, she should remind her Jacob. Maybe if she can do this, her mom would miss him less and smile more to Night. So she asked Selina to cut her hair like Jacob's.

While she growing, she tried to act like Jacob. She learned violin, wore his old clothes. She even answered when Selina called her "Jacob". And it worked. Selina started to smile more, started to talking with her more, even she cook  special meals sometimes. Menu was always full with Jacob's favorites but it doesnt matter to Night. Her mom did it for her!

İn Hogwarts, she learned that she is nothing like Jacob. Hello,  dissappointment. She was too loud, too energetic, too friendly. She learned that she can't be Jacob for her mom. At first, it  freaked her out.

Thats why she didnt want to go Celestial Ball. Didnt want to wear dress and made her hair longer. (She did want. She just didnt let herself.) And when Andre and Rowan keep asking about,, Night finally tell them everything. You know what happened? Her two angel friends talked about hours how they love her in the way she is, how she dont need to be Jacob because its her own life and she deserved to be happy.

After a lot of hugs and crying, Night wore the dress that match her name, kept her hair short.

I made this too longer ı guess ( ı was planning not to tell about Slytherin Night...) but ı always wanted to explain why ı love her. İm proud of that she can make her peace with herself. Selina is still problem for her, and still will be problem in the future too but right now Night is free from the cage she made it herself. Of course sometimes her anxiety hit her and made her feel like she is all wrong but its not a something a few late night flying cant solve.

Am ı gonna make it longer because ı wanna talk about Night and Talbott relationship? No, there will be another time for that.

She is always open for more friends. Wanna play quidditch or make/ listen music or drink tea or cook something? Night will be happy to join you in literally everything.

When I started this I said to myself, ‘right, now that school has finished, I have all the time in the world to write posts and keep up to date with posting regularly, maybe post 2-3 times a week!.’ yeah, no. that did not happen. Instead, I spent my time watching Netflix, TV shows mostly but the occasional film. So today, I am going to share TV shows that I watch currently or have watched in the past that I highly recommend.

TV shows

Pretty Little Liars - this show is known by basically everyone. For those who may not know about it, it has a good variety of genres, mystery, romance, thriller, crime, comedy. I think this show is one that would be described as ‘a girl’s show’, the beginning is a but teen and awkward acting, but when I started watching it, I did not care. People get hooked on it so fast and it is so enticing, however, like the summer of 2014, I binge watched it the whole of summer and I did get pretty sick of it as it got quite predictable at times, but give it time and damn. Pll has officially finished now but it is still a great watch for anyone who likes any genre.

Orphan Black - this show is v hard to explain. Click for the trailer. It’s about clones, so Tatiana Maslany (the actress of all the clones) is a goddess, and how they are trying to find out who made them and why they are being hunted. I fell in love with all thr characters so easily and it is very hard to stop watching. It can be quite grusome and explicit at times but it just adds to the story. It genuinely is really hard to explain without giving too much away, so watch the trailer and if you’re interested, watch the first episode and I guarentee that you will want episode 2. If you watch this, attention is needed like a lot, because they refer back to things in season 4 that happened in season 2. But super duper worth the work.

Friends - now this is the most classic comedy, romance, drama show ever. If you don’t know what it is then you have not lived, and when you do watch it, you’ll finally understand all those jokes your friends made and all the quotes on memes you’ve seen.WATCH IT. Even if you’ve already watched it a thousand times before, watch it again, and again, and again.

The Big Bang Theory - I would say that the set up of this show is similar to Friends, a solid group of friends, a well known apartment, a regular meet up place etc. So if you’re into chilled shows with comedy and science, this will tick your boxes.

Bates Motel - drama, mystery, thriller, crime, romance, this is what will be found at the Bates Motel. This show is based off the classic thriller film, Psycho. It has been majorly spread out over like 3 seasons, but it shows Norman Bates before the ending of the film. It shows how his mental health showly gets worse and when it started and why etc. With the addition of his brother, Dylan, and friend, Emma, the audience can really connect with Norman and Norma as their lives are shown. It’s quite haunting as Norman is cray cray for taxidermy, but I got used to it quite quickly. A good watch, but needs attention as I forgot things that they mention like season 1.

Teen Wolf - i find this show really enjoyable, the first couple of seasons are... they aren’t slow, but it’s just all quite basic, like ‘oh look, another fight. yep, he’s a wolf too, cool.’ but it is still amazing. It starts to pick up at season 3, season 4 is kinda like ‘how they gonna fix this mess?’, season 5 is like ‘woah, there’s a shit load of new creatures, like damn.’ and season 6 (final season) is like ‘well shit. there is now way they are fixing this mess.’ It is all incredible and all the actors and actresses are pretty sweet (on the eyes). Comedy is included, and it will make you cry at some point.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine - similar set up to The Big Bang theory and Friends as being a sit-com, it is really enjoyable, i am currently watching it for the third time. Each episode is like a different scenario, i know thats the same with every show but this show is about cops and each episode is a different case. The characters are awesome and the actors play their parts so well. Comedy is the #1 genre, but there is drama and mystery (some). It for real is hilarious though! watch watch watch.

Modern Family - this show is seriously the best, just having all the different connections with each character and the diversity. I love it so much. It’s like a scripted reality show, there isn’t much I can say about it as it doesn’t really have a plot line, it’s just one huge family each with their own story. 100 percent, watch.

Parks and Recreation - similar to Modern Family in the sense of the filming technique, the characters look at the camera and they have interviews. Again is so funny and amazing and there’s just all humour types for everybody. Also, everyone will love Ron Swanson. (Sidenote: Chris Pratt stars in it which might intice a few).

Those are the main shows that I’ve watched before that I loved the most, but I am going to label some editional ones quickly that can’t go unmentioned.

13 Reasons Why - this heartbreaking show about a girl who commits suicide tells her story of what led to her decision. like srsly, your heart will melt.

Merlin - based in Camelot with Prince/King Arthur and the Knights of the round table, this show is legit, all about the magic. Main character is Merlin who has to keep his magic a secret from the royal family as it is against the law, and punishable by death, Slight hiccup, he is a servant for Arthur. Humour, romance, drama, fantasy, mystery.

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air - this show is so hilarious, the personality of Will is amazing and something that I think a small part of everyone can relate to. A great chilled out watch for people who love old shows. 

H20: Just Add Water - now i know this is a ‘childs’ show, and i did watch it in my childhood, but because it wasn’t when I was like 2, I remembered it and have re-watched it since. It’s basically about three girls that get turned into mermaids and have to keep it a secret from everyone they know, one problem, they can’t touch water. #dilemma

Sherlock - this show is amazing! i cannot stress enough how good this is. I haven’t watched it in ages because it finished, but it’s just Sherlock Holmes being savage af and solving crimes in the process. Mystery, drame, thriller, comedy, romance, oh hell no moments, Benedict Cumberbatch. It is the whole package.

iZombie - I have been a dedicated watcher of this show for ages, and i love season 1 and 2, but season 3 just didn’t do it for me. It got a bit too confusing and lost what they had is the first seasons. I mean, don’t get me wrong, the last episode of season 2 i was like ‘omg damn, what’s gonna happen now, this is such a cliffhanger omg i must know’ and then i googled when the next season was out, but now that the third and final season has finished i’m kinda like ‘hmm, i think i would’ve been okay leaving at season 2′. So i highly recommend season 1 and 2 for sure.

Now I’m just gonna write titles of shows that should definately be watched by everyone ever

Bad Education - comedy based in a british secondary school with Jack Whitehall as the main character (so you know it’s gonna be good).

Santa Clarita Diet - a woman becomes a zombie and tried to figure out how to deal with it, comedy, drama, mystery.

Outnumbered - sit-com about a british family of three children with the two parents that are now, outnumbered.

Scream - 100 percent mystery, thriller, crime, horror. best thing to ever happen ever and total shocker. Based off the classic film, Scream.

American Horror Story - I’ve only watched season 1, 2 and 3 (Murder House, Asylum and Coven), i really enjoyed them and have re-watched them. Can be really creepy and weird, would not recommend watching in the dark.

Big School - sit-com in a british school, David Walliams stars as the weird teacher trying to date the new French teacher.

Once Upon a Time - literally combines every fairytale, classic novel etc. i really enjoyed it but i couldn’t bulk binge watch it as it would annoy me as it got somewhat predictable. #lol

Miranda - best little show ever, a woman living in Surrey trying to figure her life out. Comedian plays the role of Miranda and shows how i think everyone whats to live.

How I Met Your Mother - a show similar to Friends and The Big Bang Theory, Ted narrates each season to his children telling the story of how he met thier mother and the years before. I would definately recommend as there is a major plot twist on the very last episode that will make you super happy but also super sad.

Riverdale - this awesome show is about a murder that everyone gradually forgets about and then at the end is like ‘oh yea’, there is only one season so far with a gripping finishing episode. but another is coming soon. it looks like it’s set in the 80′s-90′s if they had iPhone 7′s. totally worth the watch.

The Wrong Man’s - a british comedy show written and produced by James Corden. two men are in the wrong place at the wrong time and their lives slowly but surely, fall apart. might watch again soon actually.

Now i’m finally done. I’ve genuinely just listed every tv show i’ve every watched. I of course love The Simpsons and Futurama, but I thought people would want to hear more about tv shows that aren’t cartoons... ya know. 

I hope this helped anyone with their tough decision of what to watch next, and it’s summer now so there’s plenty of time.
