     With her he was always at risk of getting distracted; in a safe situation at least. And he was not going to put any blame on his girlfriend, oh no. She was a true f o r c e in more ways than just one and it was entirely his own fault for permitting her to distract him. Freed was entirely aware.

     This time at least, he was able to intertwine the mischief with their current activity. They had failed to specify any rules beforehand and so he would simply play by his own. Complete freedom in creativity, execution and… unfair play. Was it still unfair if they didn't clarify the boundaries beforehand? He would argue that, no, it was not.

     He's had her exactly where he wanted her to be. After disappearing from her sight in the middle of their sparring match there was only one thing for him to do now; as swift as an arrow and movement defined by utmost accurancy. In one moment he was gone and in the next he manifested right behind Cana, purple-glowing runes shaping his existence without a sound, smirk on his lips showing before his eyes did until he was in full shape again. Signature rapier in his left hand moved, flying towards the brunette until its blade was mere inches away from her throat. With how he had trapped her between his sword and his body now Freed had the situation in his control again, or so he would assume.

     His free right hand travelled towards her as well, calloused fingers cupping her chin as he leaned in far enough so his lips were close to her right ear. She would feel his breath against her skin as he emitted a low chuckle. "Is this a loss, Cana?" D e v i l i s h , and voice reduced to an almost sensual whisper. "I know you can do better than that." In fact he loved training with her, knowing how big the potential was that slumbered within her despite her being powerful already. He wanted to l u r e it all out of her.

Though right now the nature of situation had clearly shifted and perhaps it had been bound to end this way from the beginning.

Seriously, what did that woman do to him?

His memories of the incident were still hazy at best, only pieced together by bits and pieces he heard from his guildmates.

Apparently, Juvia unwittingly used a potion that made rivals out of each other. He ended up facing off with Happy of all people – err, cats. That probably explained why he kept seeing different versions of a terrified Happy in his mind.

But what he didn't understand was while everyone else stayed inside the guildhall (hence its dilapidated state), he ended up all the way to Galuna Island, where he finally came to his senses.

Just what the hell happened to him?

The door to Master Makarov's office closed with a thud, and Gray watched Juvia as she made her way to one of the guild's tables, eyes guilt-ridden and downcast. It didn't seem that bad, though, as he saw the Master wave her off with a grin on his face as if he were more amused than mortified of the whole situation. That was a big deal, considering that any form of guild renovation angers the tight-pursed old man.

And he wasn't the only one who seemed to be uncharacteristically taking things in stride. He watched Cana as she sat beside the water mage, draping an arm over her shoulders (the other wrapped around a keg, what else?) and whispering something that made the blunette turn bright pink. On Juvia's other side sat Erza, who pressed the timid girl close to her breastplate in what appeared to be a bone-crushing hug.

Gray scoffed at the unfairness of it all. If it were him or Natsu who destroyed the guild, Erza wouldn't be that merciful. He shivered as he imagined all the scary things she would've done to them.

But everything was back to normal now – all the damages repaired and the effects of that damn potion having worn off. At least, for most of them.

Gray couldn't say the same thing for himself because truth be told, there was a funny feeling at the pit of his stomach that would show up now and then. Though he didn't remember much about what happened, that feeling often surfaced with the memory of floating in the warm sea, the rays of the sun hitting his face...

... and a blushing Juvia cradling him in her arms, a soft, almost loving look shining in her dark blue eyes.

The thought of it made blood rush to his cheeks. If he didn't know any better...

Something clicked in his mind.

A love potion.

But no, she wouldn't dare.

... Would she?

Gray sighed audibly, raking his hands over his face. Ever so slightly, he snuck a peek at Juvia and saw her still uncomfortably sandwiched between Cana and Erza, both of whom looked to be teasing her about something.

Sure, she hung out with him a lot, but it was no big deal. She was still quite new to the guild, and he was one of the first ones she met, though the circumstances could have been better. Still, he was probably one of the few people she easily grew accustomed to, as he had gone with her on missions until she got used to being part of Fairy Tail.

In other words, they were friends. And friends did not give love potions to each other. Besides, why would he be the only one affected when almost the entire guild took that potion?

He dismissed the ridiculous thought.

Gray hadn't realized he had been staring at Juvia for quite a while until she looked up and locked eyes with him. He quickly looked away, but the sight of those big doe eyes brought back a rush of fragmented memories that made something in his chest flutter.

Juvia holding him in her arms. Juvia looking affectionately at him. Juvia's voice calling his name.

Really, what the hell was wrong with him?

"Gray-sama?"

He was so distracted that he hadn't noticed Juvia come up to him. She seemed to be a little on edge, her hands clasped tightly in front of her and her eyes looking everywhere but him.

But if there were anyone who could finally answer all those goddamn questions running through his mind, it would be her.

Gray cleared his throat. "Hey, Juvia. That was some wild potion stuff you did, huh," he said, followed by a tiny smirk.

It was meant to be a joke, but the way Juvia flinched as if burned made him immediately regret what he said. Honestly, he was just trying to make small talk! He really had a knack for making things awkward.

He was about to say sorry when Juvia beat him to it. "Juvia's sorry, Gray-sama! She didn't mean to cause so much trouble. She didn't know it would affect everyone that way!"

Her eyes started to water, and Gray felt panic rising in his throat. He could not deal with crying girls, let alone Juvia, who had the ability to flood the guild with her tears.

He quickly shook his head and said, "Hey now, don't worry about it! Worse things have happened here. And no one's blaming you for anything, see?" He gestured towards their guildmates, each one minding their own business as if the guild were not in total shambles just the day before.

Juvia looked around her, then returned her eyes to him. She didn't seem pacified at all. "But you're not mad at Juvia, are you?"

Gray's lips curved into a tiny smile. "Why would I be mad?" It amused him how Juvia looked more concerned about his opinion than the rest of their guildmates. It even filled him with a certain pride that she would have such high regard for his feelings.

Plus, she really looked cute with that bit of crease on her brow and that tiny tremble on her lips.

Wait, what?

Gray narrowed his eyes. "Unless... you did something different with me?" After all, he still didn't have the tiniest idea how he ended up on an island, for goodness' sake.

Juvia looked taken aback. A blush bloomed on her pale cheeks as she started to fiddle with the hem of her top. "Umm, well, Juvia... sort of made you drink the whole potion."

"What?!" Gray asked incredulously. Well, that definitely answered how he made it to Galuna Island. And why he kept on seeing the image of Juvia holding him in her arms. "But why did you do that?"

Juvia quickly turned as red as a tomato. "U-uh... Ju-Juvia... Uhm..."

Suddenly, it all made sense. Why Juvia was always so shy around him. Why she spent a lot of time with him. Why she always invited him on missions. And why she made him gulp a whole potion and not someone else.

A smirk crossed his face. "Oh, I know now."

"Y-you do?" He didn't know it was possible, but Juvia's face got even redder. He was definitely spot on.

"It's because..."

Juvia gulped.

"... you want me to be your rival! Right, Juvia?"

He grinned at her. Juvia might look sweet and innocent, but he would never forget the fact that behind that timid exterior lies a badass mage. Not only had he struggled to battle against her before, but he also fought beside her several times during missions, giving him a pretty good idea of how strong and awesome she really was. He felt a sense of pride swell within him that such a powerful and accomplished mage would choose him to be her rival.

"Err... does Gray-sama want Juvia to be her rival?" she asked him. He chuckled at how she looked so unsure of herself.

Gray was about to answer, "Of course!" but stopped himself. Yes, he was honored that Juvia wanted him to be her rival, but...

"Well, I was thinking more of partners, you know," Gray started. "Don't get me wrong, Juvia. I think you'd be a great rival, but our powers are so alike, so it might be a better idea if we team up instead of –"

Gray wasn't able to finish what he was saying as an ecstatic Juvia suddenly lunged at him and wrapped her arms around his torso. He froze at the sudden contact as he was not expecting such a reaction from her.

Juvia looked up at him and asked, "Gray-sama really wants Juvia to be his partner?" Her eyes were so bright, it looked like a ray of sunlight cracking open a piece of blue sky.

That funny feeling stirred in his stomach again.

"Why not?"

Juvia let out a squeal, hugging him tighter. He wondered how this sometimes shy, always excitable girl could be the same gloomy rain woman he first met months ago. Though he didn't have anything against the past Juvia, he decided that he liked this version better.

Even if she was squeezing the heck out of him.

"Uh, Juvia, could you –?" he asked as he tried to push her away. She relented, smoothed her dress over, and gave him a sweet, loving smile.

There goes that weird, fluttery feeling again.

At that moment, Gray concluded two things: One, that those odd stirrings were probably due to his potion overdose. And two, that they were going to fade over time.

He had never been so wrong in his life.

A/N: I entered the Gruvia fandom during the 100YQ, so it’s challenging to write Gray not yet having strong feelings for Juvia. But their wild ride from enemies to lovers is what endeared me to them the most, so hopefully I get more inspiration to write fics encapsulating their journey. I hope I somehow captured their early friendship here (and Juvia’s little crush on Gray, obvious to everyone except him, lol).

Lucy is not weak nor usuless.

i dont understand people says lucy didnt defeat acnologia. but they accept natsu did. hOW CAN U SAY THAT? OKAY SHE IS NOT THE ONLY ONE PERSON BUT NATSU NEITHER. she used all the people’s magic power and natsu used all dragon slayer’s magic power. she planned all things. if she didnt, they couldnt catch acnologia and probably ishgar would be destroyed. sO SHE ISNT A WEAK CHARACTER.

she is not like erza, natsu, cana or other guild member because they always fought and went to jobs on their childhood. but she wasnt. also i dont think her father to let her studied magic. (her mother died because of magic, why would he let to study her?) i mean she literally started using magic at the age 16-17. but still she is so powerfull.

she has got stardress, she could open the three gates same time and she could open the celestial spirit king. she defeated jackal, lamy (?), short-term mard geer and she was the only one save the all guild. if she wasnt there fairy tail would lose.

we have a lot moments like that. but toxic people just says “she there is because of fanservice.” DUDE DO YOU THINK SHE IS THE ONLY ONE? gray always naked. literally he is. also in the manga all of character do the fanservice. but animation studio cencor them. (why r u put just lucy’s fanservice?)

also she is so smart.

i mean, love my little girl or shut up ur fucking mouth. cause u dont have a real excuse to hate her.

power scaling in the Fairy Tail Universe is very fucked up (though that proabably applies to other animes, too) but literally, these four belong to the most powerful people the FT guild has. Laxus, Mira and Erza are official S-Class anyway and they fucking slay. then we’ve got a canon panel of Erza telling Freed a long time ago that he’s definitely ready for S-Class missions (after they sparred together - bonding moment!). and that dude is crazy strong with two OP magic on his hands. plus, if Acnologia hadn’t happened and Freed hadn’t decided to lose the fight against Cana and Lucy on purpose, then he would’ve become S-Class that year and no one can convince us otherwise, so, yea...

F*UCKING POWER COUPLES

Laxus really isn’t into gossip, but whenever he’s alone at the bar and Mirajane talks to him, he’s actually gonna listen. Mira appreciates that

Mira also teases Laxus a lot about his boyfriend and his soft sides

sparring matches ! ! ! demon vs. demon, sword fights and competitive challenges.

Mira definitely has a thing for Erza in a maid outfit, so Laxus once saw his opportunity to tease back

Erza and Laxus honestly have a beautiful older/younger sibling bond, it’s beautiful

this is a very debatable topic, but if Laxus would ever be asked to be guild master and he decided to decline it for whatever reason, he’d probably be happy to see Erza as guild master again

Mirajane was very surprised to hear that Freed managed to practice dancing with Erza so she’d get better and less wild for some fancy ball mission but she didn’t mind.

Freed and Mirajane often cook together, and they also help their partners with their own cooking skills

Laxus realized that Erza has horrible drawing skill and Erza was really upset/pouty/angry when Laxus told her, but then she actually calmed down and Laxus practiced drawing with her every once in a while. he doesn’t really tell anybody, though.

Mirajane showed Laxus bits and pieces of how to play the guitar. Mira and Freed sometimes play music together (she has her guitar, Freed can play piano)

Erza insisted on them joining her on a stage play mission...  It was hilarious, Mirajane kinda loved it, and Freed and Laxus weren’t as amused

since spending more time with Freed and Laxus, Erza and Evergreen’s rivalry has also continued to be less intense. It’s still there, but in a less dangerous way.

Mirajane hadn’t forgotten her promise that she would spend the next Harvest Festival with Freed (and others), so they did and she insisted on taking many photos of them and their partners and everyone.

For the sake of myself I won't talk about all of them but only the mains of my recent stories. The Layers are also out because there's 57 of them, I'll just keep Cana because I see you're into the Arcana 👀

So let's start with her ! Cana is a girl, my apprentice, her full real name is Darla Morgasdottir and she is Lucio's sister. She is very kind and protective, ready to put her life on the line (as shown during the plague). As one of the Layers she has some special abilities, in game this shows as her knowing what to do at certain times. Her Ego is named Déluge and he can control destiny.

•She is self aware in some realities/routes.

• Cana loves having friends and family around her, her cat familiar Coony is like half of her soul,

•Mélusine (@nimusicaltrash apprentice) is like a little sister to her !

Next up is Luard. He's my own Oc for my story The Traveller's Journey and the main character along with the next one. Luard us a demon from a race closest to human in appearance, so he possesses horns and pointy ears. He is very calm and composed, he has this sage aura surrounding him. He is loving and cares a lot about his family. Luard is a loving father,

• He crave peace and understanding between his people and humans.

• His purple eyes means he has affinity with thunder lightning, yet he's more proficient in fire magic

• His horns lacking ornaments other than very simplistic ones symbolise grief.

Ambre is the second MC of TTJ, she is a bright young woman looking for her father who instead fall upon Luard and they have to travel together. She is energetic and loves to learn, she has an open mind and easily adapts to new environments. She loves reading, learning, and talking.

• She is the daughter of the Hero and has an incredible magic potential

• Her favorite animals are foxes

• She does a 360° after meeting Luard

Orville is the dad of the MC of a new story of mine that still doesn't has a name (neither does the mc). He's a guardian watching over the forest that takes most of the small country they live in. He loves joking around and teasing his daughter. He's this crazy sage aura. He loves tending to the little creatures of the forest

• Orville isn't his real name, he forgot it, Mc's mother gave it to him

• He has scars from barbed wire on his head and neck from when hunters tried to take him down

• Mushrooms and tree bark are growing on him but he doesn't mind

Narish is from NoDol (D stylized), he's a police officer that is in charge of the case of recent murder plaguing the city. He's short tempered and snarly, only like coffee, stay cats and dogs, and sometimes people.

• Clinton Balagoire, his subordinate, is his only human friend

• Has an unhealthy obsession with the local weirdo

• once spend four days awake to catch a spider in his flat. He called in sick as well. He was not victorious.

Barchal, local weirdo and engineer, is an adept of teasing. Especially Narish. He's a creator that has done wonders for the city, and yet is the officer's main suspect in the murders. He's a workaholic fueled by coffee and sheer willpower

• Had a friend named Anthony that passed away soon after Barch open his workshop

• his library is full of books about deities and strange alchemy myths

• His workshop is so messy Allan once disappeared for days under piles of blueprints.

Allan is what could be called either a umonculus or a chimera, he is not human in the slightest and tends to frighten people by his appearance. He's a very sweet and the naive creature, always willing to help his 'father'. He loves playing around and helping Barchal.

• his favorite task is making coffee

• he can't speak nor make any kind of cries/sound

• He thinks Narish is funny

Jack is from Underground Wanderers, he seems to be a talking skull that also can use a little magic. He helps the Mc in exchange for finding his body as they climb the different levels. He's annoying and presumptuous, sees himself as some kind of superior being and is a real dick. Despite all that he also has a softer side he shows Mc after a while. Deep down he cares and enjoy her company.

• May have made him a hot human for the ending

• Uses magic through singing. Dislike any remark comparing him to bards

• Came here to become a 'Caretaker' yet can't remember where he came from of when exactly he came here

Cleïa is the Mc mentioned above, she is very sweet and shy, she got trapped underground because of a haunted house trip that turned sour. She's frightened easily and doesn't like people much, probably has anxiety problems but it never got checked out. She loves reading, resting, and write everything that happens in a notebook

• Always has a satchel but it's filled with useless stuff

• Slapped Jack the first time because he scared her

• Where does the bandage on her cheek comes from ? Who knows, not me

Taya is from Blurred memories, she's an energetic young woman that lives with her brother but longs for adventure. She can't stay in place and tries to get stuff done all the time. She loves stories and myths and want to learn always more about everything around the world

• proficient in water magic

• is forbidden near any alcohol

• Has mismatched eyes

Oliver is her big brother (but Hezekiel is the oldest of the family). He is composed and calm, very mature and civil. The epitome of a gentleman. He owns a bar in the human part of their world and tries to slowly change the reputation of witches. He loves a good cup of tea and a nice book, as well as naps.

• can be too strict but cares deeply

• his best friend is the reason for a creepy legend and is basically a living cryptide.

• his the Guardian of the youngest prince but doesn't do his work right because he doesn't care.

Tad is a young man the same age as Taya, he's the third prince of the witches and tries to be like Oliver who he fancies. He's shy and clumsy but does his best in everything he does. He's hard working, just not talented. He loves the sea and spending time with his friends

• Has a sea shells collection

• Has three perfectly aligned beauty marks on his right cheek

• Did a power move once and started getting more secure about himself since (it'd be a spoiler sorry)

Bäriste is a Demon under the form of a late teenager girl (19) that comes from my story It Started Before Us. She's an adept of sarcasm and tease, loving to just mess with people and their lives. She can be a bitch and is detached from emotions in general

• It's her last reincarnation so she's making the most of it

• Her hair split in the middle on each side and gets darker and horn-like

• Has a necklace she never takes off

Last but not least, Gayl is a werewolf, also 19, attending the same school as Bäriste. He acts cool and mysterious but is actually socially awkward and dislikes people in general. He loves peace and quiet, which he never gets at home since he has a very big family. He loves them a lot too tho.

• Fall in love of Bäriste on sight, to his latter utmost horror.

• he wears glasses which is ironic since werewolves have good eyesight. He's the only one in his family

• His best pal is a vampire that tried to feed off Bäriste and would have been killed if Gayl hadn't intervene by accident.

ok so. im taking this idea from @mika-milano bc their post was very well written, entertaining, and just a rly good idea. so check their post out!:) and thank u for the idea!

and now. a disclaimer.

so im 19 now. i started watching fairy tail when i was 14. this show has been very near and dear to me for a long time. it was one of the first anime i ever watched, and it has my favorite all time ship (gruvia ofc). also i would kind of be lying if i said that most of the reason i still keep up with the manga and show wasnt bc of gruvia. bc it is lol. but. it DEFINITELY has its flaws. and here r some of my opinions on them.

1. so much doesnt make sense

ok listen lol. i think we can all say that its kind of obvious when mashima hasnt thought things through or just pulls things out of his ass out of nowhere. i dont wanna go too in detail about this because if im being honest, there is a lot that i just flat out don't remember. what i can remember is that as the story continued to go on, things seemed to make less and less sense.

2. the best arc is the tower of heaven arc

wow ok. i cant really tell u why i love this arc so much. but i do. im not even a jerza or erza stan (i love them both, but like not my fav pairing or character by any means). but idk. something about this arc was so intriguing, intense, emotional, and just enjoyable to watch. seeing the depths of erza's background and her relationship with her past, jellal, natsu, and the rest of the guild was just amazing. idk why this arc sticks out so much to me, but it really does.

3. lisanna shouldve stayed dead

now this one isnt even bc i hate lisanna or anything. i like lisanna! i even like nali! (not as much as nalu but still). her death had such a great impact on her siblings, natsu, and the rest of the guild and watching them all have to grow past it was incredible (especially for mira and elfman!). and then they just brought her back. not only did they bring her back, but they brought her back for NO REASON! she just became another side character! when she came back to life she had no further impact on ANYTHING! and it made the whole "natsu's childhood love/bestfriend" thing seem so much less important and way more fake.

with this one im mostly just talking about makarov. but still. waaaay too much death bating. like they died and then magically came back to life. too much of it. felt like nothing was ever really at stake. im saying this but like if juvia had actually stayed dead i would have thrown a FIT lol

10. fairy tail's old animation was way better

Gajeel Redfox

-Quirk: Spikes - Gajeel can fire off iron spikes from his body, in various sizes, all of them very sharp. This quirk hurts him a bit to use, since he’s u know, firing sharp spikes of iron from his body, but he’s fine, I promise :’)

-Often feels like he’s gotta stand out and be the biggest, baddest hero around since his quirk, while useful, isn’t the flashiest like Natsu or Laxus’.

-Starts out out at the lower end of the academic spectrum, but he has dyslexia and once he has the resources for help, his grades shoot up.

-Has an intense rivalry with Natsu, the both of them often getting into trouble for their little sparring sessions that get out of hand.

-Doesn’t dare that his piercings are probably against school rules, he’s 2 Cool 4 School

-Also has to have a heavy iron filled diet for his quirk like Erza. They swap recipes!

-Despite knowing how to cook real food he’s just so gross. He’s eaten open Skittles that have been under a couch for years.

-Quirk: Hellspawn - His quirk gives him the ability to create barriers that have to abide by a basic rule. More rules means more energy, bigger barriers mean more energy, and the longer he holds a barrier, the more energy it needs, u get the idea. He is very resourceful with this quirk and has found many uses for it other than for defensive purposes

-In terms of appearances, one of Freed’s parents has a quirk that makes them look demonic, which followed and transferred to Freed. He’s got large, black horns on his head and one eye has a purple iris with black screla.

-Because of his looks, he didn’t have many friends growing up, since they were scared by his appearances, often saying he has a “villain’s” look. He never bothered to make them think differently about him, so he grew up rather lonely and thinking he didn’t need friends.

-His first friends came in the form of Laxus, Bickslow and Evergreen, who asked for him to be their rider in their first Sports Festival. They haven’t left him alone since.

-Class Rep! He likes being the one to help carry out rules and orders, and is able to keep a cool head in a stressful situation. He’s a wonderful leader!

-Often has to be forced to sleep since he’s 2nd in grades and works very hard at school. He’s so tired someone please help him

-Do not come between him and his coffee in the morning if you value your life

-Gay but like we know

-Also has the biggest crush on Laxus, but is very decent at hiding it. Only decent though, he is a bit of a useless gay when it comes to Laxus

-Quirk: Glitter - Able to fire off blasts of sparkling energy from her fists. These blasts can be quite hot, so she has to be careful not to use her quirk too much otherwise she risks damaging her skin.

-Daughter of the famous pro-hero, Gildarts Clive which causes her Stress, knowing she’s expected by the world to follow in his footsteps and be just as good, if not better than him, one day.

-Failed the physical portion of the entrance exam, due to anxiety, and got placed in General Studies her first year at UA for good academic scores. But u know she works hard to be able to transfer to the Hero Course

-Best friend is Lucy, met her before Cana was able to transfer to the hero course. Fellas, is it gay to want to work harder for your dreams because a pretty girl said she believes in you? Is it also gay if you wanna kiss that girl?

-Makes jokes about dropping out all the time when school gets just a little more difficult

I HC that Laxus is the Erzajane wingman, sort of taking the gay friend role for Mira (sometimes Erza). And Mira can have his back with Freed. (Sorry idk if u ship Fraxus). But anyways ya, Laxus knew before anyone else how Mira felt and when they got together.

no you DO NOT understand how deeply this resonates with my entire soul, anon!! I’m even planning on writing a fic about this ahhh. 

In my mind, it goes something like this:

Laxus and Mirajane date when they’re like… 17? And it’s super awkward and they don’t even especially get along but there’s something about each other that is familiar; safe. Worth the risk.

Soon after they become each other’s first time and it’s super uncomfortable for them both.

Even now, as adults, they don’t talk about it.

Soon after, Laxus breaks down and tells Mirajane that he doesn’t like her, not like that, and he thinks there’s something wrong with him because she’s attractive but he isn’t attracted to her and he should be but there’s something… missing. Something not right.

And he apologises and he’s crying and it’s vulnerable, the most vulnerable Mirajane has ever seen him.

And despite the absurdity of the situation and the uncertainty of her own heart, Mirajane laughs.

Because ohmygodimsogladimnottheonlyonenotintothis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She comes out to him a week later, after talking to Cana about how she knew that she was attracted to men and women.

Still, Laxus is the first person she ever told, and then Lisanna dies and it’s Mirajane’s biggest regret, that Lisanna died not knowing her sister properly.

As a result, she comes out to Elfman not long after.

Her and Laxus remain Bros though, and whenever there’s a guild event they take each other as “dates”, because it’s safe and non-committal and they can truly be themselves. 

Although Laxus is dense as shit and it literally drives Mirajane crazy.

Like, Freed could come into the guild wearing a rainbow jumper and bootyshorts saying *I love men” and Laxus would still be sat, frowning, with his head in his hands, 

“Mirajane… do you think Freed is gay?” 

She straight up hits him a couple times.

After he gets thrown out of the guild, and then the seven year time skip, he finally comes out to Makarov, and then soon after he and Mirajane are tag-teaming each other, being the best wingmans.

( @jinx13gxa2 has a great fic about Laxus coming out to his granddad by the way ahhh)

Eventually Mirajane manages to force Laxus and Freed on a date, but the thought of talking to Erza about her feelings? Unacceptable. Unheard of.

Laxus teases her constantly.

When Erza eventually confesses Laxus is secondhand freaking out because he knows how much Mirajane has liked the other women for years and finally they’re both living their dream!!

They go on double-dates but it’s super troulbesome because they’re all so powerful and intimidating everyone is scared to approach them

Still… they’re soft for each other, romantically and platonically. And they’re happy.

HOLY SEED; THE SOURCE THEREOF

HOLY SEED

Isaiah 6:13; The HOLY SEED* is the source thereof.

Seed*; in Aramaic is a metaphorical term for Teaching.

In the prayer books of the church of the East, we often read: “The seed (teaching) which the apostles sowed throughout the world,” which means “The gospel of Christ which they have published all over the world.”

For example, the words which once fell from the mouth of Jesus, his apostles and followers 2000 years ago now are published in more than 1,000 languages and dialects.

PARABLE; SEED AND SOWER

Jesus said, listen;

Behold the Sower went out to sow his seed, when he sowed, some seed fell on the road side and it was trodden under foot; and the fowls of the heavens came and at it.

Other seed fell upon the rock; where there was not enough soil; it sprang up earlier because the ground was not deep enough. When the sun shone, it was scorched because it had no moisture and the ground was not deep enough for its root to grow and then dried up.

Other fell among thistles and the thistles sprang up and chocked it and it bore not fruit.

Other fell in good fertile soil and sprung up and bore fruit; some thirty; some sixty; and some one hundred.

THE SEED IS THE WORD OF GOD

The apostles ask Jesus about the parable of the Sower and Seed. He said to them listen to the parable of the seed. The Sower, who sowed the seed.

However, hears the word of the kingdom of God and does not understand it, the adversary comes immediately and snatches away the word which has been sown in their hearts.

This is the that which was sown on the road side and the fowls of heavens came and ate.

SEED OF THE WOMAN SHALL BRUISE THE SERPENTS* HEAD

Serpent*; in this instance means “deception” or “lie” In the olden days the terms “devil” and “Satan” were unknown. But the serpent was metaphorically used as an agent of evil forces. This is because the serpent is sly and deceptive.

Daily Reading and Meditation Friday (April 6): “Jesus revealed

himself again to the disciples”

Scripture: John 21:1-14

1 After this Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias; and he revealed himself in this way. 2 Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together. 3 Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We will go with you.” They went out and got into the boat; but that night they caught nothing. 4 Just as day was breaking, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. 5 Jesus said to them, “Children, have you any fish?” They answered him, “No.” 6 He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it  in, for the quantity of fish.

7 That disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his clothes, for he  was stripped for work, and sprang into the sea. 8 But the other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from the land, but about a hundred yards off. 9 When they got out on land, they saw a charcoal fire there, with fish lying on it, and bread. 10 Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish that you have just caught.” 11 So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish, a hundred and fifty-three of them; and although there were so  many, the net was not torn. 12 Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” Now none of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. 13 Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and so with the fish. 14 This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed to the disciples after he was raised from the dead.

Meditation: Why didn’t the apostles immediately recognize the Lord when he greeted them at the Sea of Tiberias? John gives us a clue. He states that Peter had decided to return to his home district of Galilee, very likely so he could resume his fishing career. Peter was discouraged and didn’t know what to do after the tragedy of Jesus’ death! He went back to his previous career out of despair and uncertainty. The other apostles followed him back to Galilee.

The gift of faith opens our eyes to recognize the risen Lord Jesus in our midst When was the last time Peter was commanded to let down his net after a futile night of fishing? It was at the beginning of Jesus’ ministry in Galilee when the Lord dramatically approached Peter in his fishing boat after a futile night of fishing and commanded him to lower his nets (see Luke

5:4-11). After the miraculous catch, Jesus told Peter that he would be ‘catching people” for the kingdom of God. Now Jesus repeats the same miracle. John, the beloved disciple, is the first to recognize the Lord. Peter impulsively leaps from the boat and runs to the Lord. Do you run to the Lord when you meet setbacks, disappointments, or trials? The Lord is ever ready to renew us in faith and to give us fresh hope in his promises.

Do you recognize the presence of the Risen Lord in your life? Skeptics who disbelieve the resurrection say the disciples only saw a vision of Jesus. The Gospel accounts, however, give us a vivid picture of the reality of the resurrection. Jesus went out of his way to offer his disciples various proofs of his resurrection – that he is real and true flesh, not just a spirit or ghost. In his third appearance to the apostles, after Jesus performed the miraculous catch of fish, he prepared a breakfast and ate with them. John’s prompt recognition of the Master – It

is the Lord! and Peter’s immediate response to run to the Lord – stands in sharp contrast to Peter’s previous denial of his Master during the night of Jesus’ arrest. The Lord Jesus reveals himself to each of  us as we open our hearts to hear his word. Do you recognize the Lord’s presence in your life and do you accept his word with faith and trust?

“Lord Jesus, you are the Resurrection and the Life. Increase my faith in the power of your resurrection and in the truth that you are truly alive! May I never doubt your life-giving word nor stray from your presence.”

Psalm 118:1-4,22-27

if u need another argument for the tiring freed discussion you might as well take the stone age omake, its gross but it had freed in it among all the other men who ended up getting 'defeated' (ugh mashima) by the power of women who caused them all a boner or some weird shit. so I think it's legit to think he's bi or mashima could've left him out purposefully y'know and I don't get where the thought comes from that cana/wendy HAVE to be lesbian like I think it's more legit for them to be bi too

Thought that would have made the pl arc better and make juvias redemption better: Juvia is shown love by a positive female figure as well (probably mira bc she'd b able to relate to her feelings of isolation and being treated as an outcast bc of magic) and after losing her will to fight, instead of fainting, gray and mira convince her to help them by slowing down abyss break (bc since abyss break was powered by the element 4 they might b able to affect its speed ??) THEN they try to convince her to join ft but she hides bc holy shit these ppl were so kind to her and showed her affection even after she kidnapped one of their friends and like her showing up at the resort should b different like mb she tried to get a job there or smthn bc she wanted to get away from magic ? And then that hot guy who showed her the sun shows up and gets attacked so she helps then after that he convinces her along w lucy to join the guild (also there shouldve been more w them in toh like Mashima shouldve shown juvia regretting the stuff she did and lucy being like hey i dont hold grudges and u seem chill and ur helping us save erza so yea we can be buddies as long as u like stop kidnapping ppl) And also he shouldve shown her still liking gray (starting as a crush bc thats what it was in the beginning but then growing into genuine love as they gor closer) but also being friends w lucy and cana and mira and gajeel and she should have been helping the others trust gajeel more bc she already had team natsus trust so the others would probably see that she wasnt that bad before they saw that in gajeel And over time we shouldve seen gray noticing her changes, from the rain woman, to the shy newcomer who feels like she doesnt belong w these kind ppl, to someone who fits in among ft and grts along w her guildmates and him slowly falling for her and noticing it and being like oh shit ive got some rly strong feelings for this girl
