People taking the jokes about the cool-down room seriously on TikTok [and even here], is the funniest thing ever. I can almost 90% guarantee the comments made are jokes. At least from my side they are.

I don’t hate Carlos, in fact, the cool down room wasn’t even awkward. It was just that segment of the video was hilarious. Of course Max and Checo don’t hate Carlos, they’re all exhausted and hardly talk in general. They picked up a hefty conversation right afterwards.

Happy Sunday, everyone! Thanks to the ever lovely @heartstringsduet, @honeybee-taskforce, @paperstorm, @strandnreyes, and @three-drink-amy for the tags. Here's something from the Time Loop AU in which Carlos comes across a face that's both familiar and not familiar at all:

As he’s opening the door to the coffee shop, he almost makes impact with a man trying to leave through the same set of doors. Carlos only needs to take one look at the red knit scarf to know who it is.

“Oh,” Beau’s gravelly voice is almost like a welcomed tune. He pushes himself back from the door, giving Carlos room to walk in. “Excuse me.”

Carlos smiles and is just about to greet Beau before realizing that he technically hasn’t met him. Beau’s unaware of who he is.

Carlos mutters a, “Thanks,” before walking through the open door and letting Beau go on his way. He feels somewhat melancholic, almost like he’s lost a confidant.

Overall, he finds it strange, missing someone he’s never met.

Seven Sentence Sunday

She’s always done what she likes, which usually aligns with what Gabriel likes, apart from the odd occasion. The time she let Tía Lucy host a séance in the living room, and didn’t mention it, springs to mind. Gabriel rolls in, switches on the lights while saying a loud, “What in the name of hell?!” and a circle of ten people fling into the air screaming like a demon has been summoned from the hallway.

Carlos thinks his father would have a lot to say, but he doesn’t have the energy to list things off, or make the argument himself. So, he mumbles, “Well, I appreciate it,” and she kisses his cheek.

They sit down, Andrea occupying the chair next to Carlos’. She stares at TK and pushes her wooden Rosary beads between her thumb and forefinger, meditating with the Mysteries.
