Cutting Room Floor - Insidious Intent - XII
First Draft Epilogue
This was the epilogue in the first draft of the story. No real spoilers to the ending, as I have gone way off the original course of the story. But it might give you a certain vibe where I want the story to conclude, so read at your own discretion.
More info below the cut.
.
In this version, Sansa and Margaery didn't see each other anymore after after their encounter in the private visitation room and Sansa taking her off the visitation list. This epilogue is six years later, Sansa has been in prison for six years and has just been released from. They meet again for the first time.
.
There is a short awkward moment, where they can’t quite decide whether or not to hug. A little dance, two steps back, one forward, then another one until finally Sansa closes the distance and wraps Margaery up in her arms. Briefly, clumsily, and yet letting go feels like stepping from a hot steaming shower into a cold bathroom.
And then Sansa ushers her inside. To an inside that’s vastly different than anything Margaery would have imagined.
“Are those real life plants?” she asks in slipping out of her jacket.
Sansa spots a grin. “No one is more shocked than I am.” She takes Margaery’s jacket from her and puts it up on the wardrobe. “But yes, kept them alive so far. Guess that means my killing days are behind me.”
She shoots Margaery a most charming, mischievous smile, that has Margaery grin in return.
“Come on in, already. The coffee will grow cold.” She turns in walking away. “You do drink coffee right?”
Margaery nods, taking her in for a moment as she makes her way through the spacious corridor towards the kitchen. She’s completey different from what she remembers and yet completely the same. There is an elegance to her stride, but it’s no longer as perfectly controlled as it once was. To say there was a skip in her step would be too much, but it’s that almost.
Margaery got to know her wearing those unflattering prison uniform, she’s only seen private clothes during the trial, and then she was spotting that perfectly put together combination of slacks, skirts and blouses. The pair of jeans and the loose sweater she’s wearing now, are elegant too, she can hardly imagine anything not looking well fitted on Sansa, but it’s laid back, far more than she ever found her capable of. She’s glides across the hardwood floors in her wool socks. On it’s own accord Margaery’s eyes linger on her bottom hugged by those form fitting jeans.  She’s gained some weight, has curves where she didn’t have them before.
Standing in the doorway, Sansa gives her an expectant look that startles Margaery out of her staring. “Do you want me to—I mean should I—” she sputters, pointing at her shoes.
“Not for my sake.”
Margaery slips out of her shoes still. She knows Sansa watching her, eyes lingering on the combination of one of those dresses and all that hair, isn’t just wishful thinking.
Barefoot she shuffles after her, gives her a smile as she slips past her into the kitchen, where the pleasant smell of coffee hangs in the air.
The kitchen furnishing is old fashioned in a vintage sort of way. Seventies if Margaery had to guess. But high quality, luxury for the seventies, studded with some brand new appliances. On the side opposite to the kitchen counters sits a large wooden table, set up with a lemon cake.
If Margaery had to guess she would have claimed that Sansa is someone who serves her coffee in fine China, in antique flowered cups, serves milk in a small canine that has no other purpose, and has a bowl with sugar cubes along with fitting tongues to retrieve them.
The swimming pool of a coffee cup Sansa sets down in front of her, the milk carton and a large jug of sugar isn’t what she was expecting at all.
Margaery considers herself someone who can read people well, and it irritates her a little that she’s so far off in her assumptions about Sansa. What irritates her more is that she can’t tell if she didn’t know her from the very beginning of if the last four years changed her. Maybe both, she decides as she watches long wavy hair fall over Sansa’s shoulder as she sits across from her, a foot up on the chair, her knee tugged to her body.
Sansa smiles at her, still a little reserved. “You look good.”
Margaery holds her eyes and loses count how many spoons of sugar she put into her coffee somewhere along the way. “So do you.” She looks radiant. “Really good.”
“I am good,” Sansa confirms, her smile broadening a little. “Really good.”
“I’m glad to hear that. So you’re adjusting good?”
Teeth dig into her bottom lip in that besotting charming way. “I’m adjusting very good.” She sobers a little bit. “I mean, I am not going to lie. It is an adjustment. There are things nobody can prepare you for.”
Margaery schools her features, and nods. “I can imagine.”
“No, you really can’t,” Sansa tells her bluntly. “No one can prepare you for virtually all your favourite ice cream flavours having just vanished from the store.”
Margaery chuckles. Her cheeks feel warm and she wishes she could blame it on the hot coffee. “That’s the true punishment of crime no one will tell you about.”
“My mom promised to bring over her old ice cream maker. I’ll give making them myself a shot.”
She sips her coffee that’s nauseatingly sweet. “Culinary ambitious as ever, I see.”
“More like bored out of my mind.” She tugs her pant leg up, revealing the ankle monitor. “With this lovely accessory, my opportunities to keep busy are still a little limited.”
Margaery eyes the contraption, that looks heavy and bulky on her lean ankle. “You get to leave the house though?”
“I do,” she confirms. “All the way to x park and back.” She went by X park on her way here. It’s a good three blocks away. That’s not very far. Sansa smiles still. “I have a dentist appointment uptown in two days time. Medical appointments are an exemption. So that will be exciting.”
It’s not fair, is all Margaery can think. It’s not fair that she’s still limited in her life.
“Take that look off your face,” Sansa tells her, still smiling. “It’s not that bad, really. I have a place to myself, I have a trustfund to live off comfortably. Most people in my situation don’t have my level of privilege.”
She’s right of course. Most people don’t have lawyers that get them out on parole after only five years. Most people in her situation don’t have parents who buy them apartments in one of the best areas in town. And still. This level of control, of still having to rely on others, being limited in her own choices after she endured years of having her life directed by another person feels wrong in every perceivable way.
“It speaks for you that you’re taking it with so much pose,” Margaery says.
“After regaining the privilege of a bathroom with a door that locks, everything else is just semantics.” She shrugs one shoulder and for the first time it comes across lightly, like there isn’t any kind of burden on her anymore. “And I have a job at the national gallery in prospect. My mom put in a good word with a friend.”
“Really?” The joy that fills Margaery’s chest on Sansa’s behalf is honest and pure.
“Nothing too exciting. Back of the house things mostly. Inventory management, so I’m hoping that will get me a glimpse at some of the conservator’s work. Anyway, it’s a foot in the door. And more importantly it will get me out of the house.” Sansa sips her coffee and makes a wiping gesture. “But enough about me. How are you doing?”
“I’m doing well. I’m between stories now, so I have more time on my hands than I like.”
Sansa nods. She had that way of making her conversation partner feel important. During their first few interview sessions Margaery thought that was merely good PR training, then she thought it was the blooming attraction that brought it about. Now she thinks it’s just who Sansa is. Someone who cares for other people, even their most mundane parts.
“I’ve read your latest story,” Sansa says with a truthfully impressed tone in her voice. “Quite impressive. Single handily taking on the Defence Ministry.”
Margaery shrugs. “Or dumb. Time will tell.”
Sansa shakes her head slightly. “Modesty is not a good look on you,” she tells her. “It’s excellent. I hear they are scrambling to pick up the pieces.”
“Thank you.”
“That’s your main focus now? Politics?” Margaery nods, sipping at her coffee, and tries not to have her face show just how unfit for consumption she made it with her loads of sugar. Sansa notices anyway, and gets to her feet and holds out a hand. “Give. I’ll get you a fresh one.”
Margaery’s finger close tighter around the cup. “It’s fine. Really.”
“I can see you getting cavities in real time,” Sansa says, and peels the cup out of her hands, spinning back around to the counter easily. “There was this one woman working in the kitchen with me, who always said, coffee should be black and bitter like life.”
A freshly steaming cup is put in front of her, and Margaery reaches for the sugar jug, careful to only put one teaspoon into it this time. “Some sweetness in life doesn’t hurt occasionally.”
Sansa sits down, her elbows resting on the table, and her face propped up on her hands. It’s a perfectly familiar posture, but so much more relaxed than before. “I suppose you’re right.” She points at the lemon cakes. “Speaking of, help yourself. It’s my mom’s recipe. The best one you’ll ever taste.”
Margaery follows suit. They’re still a little warm. “How many batches have you devoured since you moved in?”
Sansa’s face sombers just the tiniest bit, even as her smile stays in place, as she eyes the filigree cake on the table. “This would be my first. I didn’t have any since the one you brought me for my birthday.”
Margaery lowers the cake and looks at her distraught. “Why not?”
Only she knows why not. She remembers that conversation so very vividly, like it just happened an hour ago.
“I couldn’t quite get myself to have them again, after what we talked about that day. My therapist calls it x.”
Margaery looks down, her own appetite disappeared in just an instant. “Leave it to me to ruin your favourite dessert.”
“Yes, well. If you hadn’t, we probably wouldn’t be sitting here today.” She keeps on looking at the cakes sitting between them, like a new version of that glass panel that once separated them. “I never had a chance to thank you for what you did for me.”
Margaery shakes her head and sets the cake down on the talbe, wiping her hands. “And you shouldn’t.”
Sansa’s eyes dash up to her. “No, I think I should.”
“For what? Going against your will? Betraying your trust? Dragging what you wanted no one to know out in the open?”
“Not that, no. Not what you wrote.” She sighs. “I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t still upset about that.”
Margaery can’t get herself to endure her gaze. “I…” She hesitates a moment, then gets her purse off the back of the chair. The envelope weighs heavy in her hands, as heavy as this moment as she holds it out to Sansa. “I wanted to put this into your mailbox on my way out. But I guess now is a good as time as any.”
Sansa turns the bulky envelope between her hands for a second before gently pulling the upper end open. She frowns at the stack of tightly inscribed sheets of papers she retrieves from it, skims through them. “You wrote me letters?”
Margaery nods. “I tried. They’ve been filling up my desk drawer for a while now. I could never get myself to send any of them, because no matter how often I tried, I never could find the right words to tell you what I wanted to convey.”
“Lucky for you, you don’t write for a living or anything,” Sansa quips, a little absentmindedly, her eyes drawing over the paper, and her face softening a little with the few lines she reads. “I wish you would have sent them.”
“I’m sorry, Sansa,” Margaery at last musters to utter the words that have been sitting on her chest like a deadweight for over five years. “I was arrogant. I thought it was up to me to save you. And I didn’t want to see that I not only violated your trust, but you as a person. You were right. I decided on your behalf, and that makes me no better than—”
Sansa’s hand setting itself on top of her own, silences her efficiently. “Don’t,” she pleads softly. “That name has no place here.”
“I’m sorry.”
It takes all of Margaery’s willpower not to twist her hand around, not to hold on. Sansa’s hand is warm and soft, holds slight traces of hand lotion. Different from the last time they touched, and yet completely the same.
“What you did was wrong,” Sansa goes on. “But you didn’t deserve the comparison to him back then and you don’t deserve it now. I know you did what you did in good intention. That doesn’t make it okay, but I of all people know what desperation can lead you to.”
“I really am sorry. More than I can ever tell you.”
Sansa nods and sets her free hand on the stack of letters. “Well, it seems I have a good bedtime reading material to proof your point.” For a second it appears like she wants to withdraw her touch, but then she skims fingertips over her knuckles instead. “And I do owe you gratitude still.”
“You don’t.”
“Will you shut up?” Sansa says through a smile that broadens when Margaery snaps her mouth shut. “You got to say your apology. Now I get to say thank you.”
“Thank you for what?” Margaery asks meekly, and immediately clamps her lips closed again.
“For believing me.” She traces along the length of Margaery’s pointer finger. “I had this whole narrative build up in my head that no one could ever believe me. And then you waltzed in that visitation room,” she smirks, “with those cutesy dresses and all that hair, and you did. Without knowing me for longer than a handful of hours. You listened to me and you believed me.
“I was not thrilled to have everything dragged out into the open -anything but- but you had unravelled that part of me that, that voice in my head -his voice- that told me no one would ever believe me. Without you, I could have never gotten up on that stand and told my story. And I’d probably be on day 1862 just about now.” Her hand settles flatly over Margaery’s again. “So, thank you.”
“It wasn’t—”
Sansa withdraws her touch and leans back while her eyes remain glued to her. “The words you’re looking for is ‘You’re welcome.’”
Margaery musters the tiniest of smiles. It’s a physical effort to smile. “Were you always this snippy or is that the effect prison had on you?”
“My mom asked me the same thing just the other day,” Sansa says with a smile.
Her smiles are different than Margaery remembers them. Perhaps they are just different. They’re not as constant. Not that looking to pleasant, but so very genuine.
Margaery’s far from accepting any credit for the positive outcome. It wasn’t her. In the end it came down to Sansa being brave enough. That sort of bravery you cannot spark in someone if it’s not there already in one way or another. But. If she only bore a small part in bringing that kind of smile to Sansa’s lips, well, it’s not that she thinks she deserves the credit for that either. But it’s the one thing she would want credit for.
“The truth is I don’t know,” Sansa goes on, looking down to where Margaery’s hand rests on the table, all but waiting for her to reach out again. “I’m thirty-five years old and I have no idea who I am.”
Margaery says with conviction. “You’ll get there.”
“I hope so.” Sansa looks a little tired just then. “I know I can’t undo a decade of trauma in a few therapy sessions. Some days I just really wish there was some kind of fast forward button.”
“That would come in handy for a lot of things in life.”
“Wouldn’t it?”, Sansa props her chin on a drawn up knee, her voice and eyes heavy with meaning, “Just skip right to the good parts. The easy and fun parts.”
“What would you skip forward to, if you could?”
“To the point where what he did to me doesn’t impact me anymore. I do so many things still with him in the back of my mind.” She gathers her hair and drapes it over one shoulder. “Like, I’m not sure yet how much I like wearing my hair open. But I know that he wouldn’t have liked it. I really wish I could be free of that, of making decisions based on a need to defy him.”
Margaery looks at her, looks at the soft waves draped over her shoulder and thinks that defiance is an excellent look on her. “You’re holding up okay though?”
“I have good days and not so good days.” She sighs curling into herself a little more. “Some days are just impossible altogether. Nights mostly. But I’m getting there.” In the moment of heavy silence that follows her eyes land on Margaery’s untouched lemon cake. She hesitates a moment, then picks one of the lemon cakes for herself. She twists it between her fingers, meeting Margaery’s eyes. “Baby steps and all.”
Margaery holds her breath as she watches her bite into it with a sense of defiance, that ever so slowly merges into relish. It’s the most gorgeous sight imaginable, how she closes her eyes and slowly savours the taste.
Eyes flutter back open, and the small flush that covers her cheek makes it obvious to Margaery just how bluntly she’s staring at her. Sansa wipes a few crumps of her lips and smiles prettily. “It’s good,” she says, licking her finger. “You should try it.”
Margaery’s eyes dart down to her own cake, that sits in front of her looking abandoned.
“Free of heart medication,” Sansa quips. “I promise.”
Laughing Margaery dares a first bite.
“And?” Sansa probes.
She hums softly as the taste unfolds. “Amazing.”
It’s without exaggeration the single best pastry she’s had in her lifetime. It’s sweet, without frills, just plain ingredients that mix together in the best way imaginable. A little like Sansa in the plain way she’s sitting across from her right now.
They sit there in comfortable silence, both munching away at their cakes, sipping coffee that has grown lukewarm in the meantime.
“I have a confession,” Sansa says into the silence, fingers wiping at crumbs remaining on the table. “I didn’t just ask you to come her today to have coffee and pastries.”
Margaery nods. “I figured as much.”
Eyes peer up at her through batted lashes. “I was wondering, if you’ve stopped with the societal coverage completely?”
Hands curl around her coffee mug, as she senses where this goes, senses why Sansa asked her to come here today. “I have. For good.”
“That’s a shame.” Sansa takes her in silently, unwaveringly. “I mean, don’t get me wrong. Your piece on the corruption scandal was excellent, but nowhere near as compelling as your previous work. It lacked the personal touch.”
Margaery holds her eyes in a way that she hopes is clear. “That’s the point.”
“Are you enjoying it though?”
Margaery shrugs one shoulder. She could lie. She could tell her that it’s everything she ever hoped for in her career. But it isn’t. It’s only the safe option for now. “It’s alright.”
Sansa appears amused. “That doesn’t sound too excited for someone in the talk for several high-ranking journalism awards.”
“It can be pretty tedious. You know how politicians can be.” She halts for a second. “I mean, it’s just … well tedious.”
“Would you consider returning to social coverage?”
“I don’t think so.” That’s vaguer than she intended, because the answer is no. A set in stone no.
“What if I asked you to?”
She should tell her no. This is a bad idea for so many, many reasons. It’s the proverbial devil on her shoulder that lets her ask, “What did you have in mind?”
“I want to tell my story. All of it.”
It’s the story every other journalist, every news outlet in the country is panting for. Her boss would fire her on the spot if he saw her right now, not agreeing in a heartbeat. “I heard you’ve had several offers from reputable networks and newspapers.”
“I did. And I refused every single one.” She leans in, and for a second her hand comes close to reaching for Margaery’s again, then she sets them both flatly on the table. “I want you to write it.”
“Why me?”
“Because you’re the best one for the job.” Challenge slips into her eyes. “Because I trust you.”
“I appreciate that. I really do,” Margaery says. “And I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little intrigued.”
Sansa’s eyes gleam with amusement. “But just a little?”
“Fine. A lot.” She leans back to bring some distance between them, as if it could help her to rationalise all this. “Too much.”
Yes, Margaery is interested. She’d have to be dead and buried not to be. But that interest is rooted in all the wrong reasons. It’s not about writing a compelling story that would get her the cover, that would get her the promotion she’s been crawling for. She’s interested because she wants Sansa to tell her, because she’s interested in Sansa’s story personally.
“How is that a bad thing?” Sansa asks.
“I’d lack objectivity.” She grips onto her mug a little tighter. “That doesn’t make for good writing.”
Being too personally involved in a story doesn’t make for good writing. And the longer she sits here the clearer it becomes to her just how absolutely, up to her neck deep, emotionally involved she still is. Even now. Four years later.
She told herself she came here with no expectations. None besides the chance to tell her she was sorry in person. And perhaps she did. But somewhere in those twenty minutes she sat here looking at Sansa, seeing this new, free, content self she evolved too, something resurfaced. Something she thought she had left behind, had found closure on.
“Most of your stories lack objectivity.”
Margaery head jerks back. “Excuse me?”
Sansa smiles, appears entirely too amused at her indignation. “They used to anyway,” she concedes. “That’s what made them so compelling to read. There was always a smidge of you in there. What you write now, politics, corruption, it’s still good, great from a technical point of view as far as I can tell, but it lacks any heart.”
“Good journalism at its core is about impartiality.”
“Maybe I don’t want someone who’s impartial to write about me. Maybe in order to do this, I need someone who I know is in my corner.”
“You’re looking for a biographer, not a journalist.”
Sansa tilts her head and looks at her for a long moment in consideration. “Maybe you’re right.”
Margaery deflates in releasing a deep breath. She knows it’s the right thing, refusing this story, and yet she can’t help a certain frustration with herself. If only for letting a chance like that pass her by. The chance to sit at a table once more with Sansa and listen to her tell her story. All of it. All she is so very interested to hear.
“I don’t suppose I could interest you in that?” Sansa asks.
Margaery blinks. “In what?”
“Writing my biography.”
In an instant Margaery’s heart is in her throat. “I have no experience in that.”
“You had no experience in political coverage either. And now you’re in the talks for several journalism awards.”
She can’t help a small scoff at the comparison. “It took me years to get to that point.”
Sansa shrugs one shoulder. “I’m not in a rush. If I have anything in abundance it’s time.” She sucks on her lips in the way she always does when she’s thinking about something. “And it would solve yet another problem.”
“Which is?”
Sansa grins in that way that leaves Margaery’s stomach a fluttery nauseous mess. “Well. There is a certain moral ambiguity to asking the journalist writing about you out on a date.”
Margaery ducks her head in a face splitting smile. “I think dating your biographer is still not entirely ethical either,” she points out lighter and more carefree than she should.
Fingertips inch closer on the table until they touch Margaery’s. “I think it’s a moral grey area. Not unlike, I don’t know… killing your rapist husband?”
The words would startle Margaery, but she delivers them lightly, easily. Like for a second nothing that happened still has a hold on her, and they have skipped forward to the good parts already.
Margaery inches her hand forward until their fingers lay loosely intertwined in the middle of the table. “Hard to argue with such compelling arguments.”
Sansa eyes flit over hers, and her grip tightens in Margaery’s. “Is that a yes to going out with me or to writing my biography?”
“Why don’t we talk contents over dinner?”

Manang Motorbike Tour: Conquer Rugged Trails in Nepal’s Heartland
Tumblr media
Nepal is best known for its towering peaks and legendary trekking routes. But for those with a passion for two wheels and the spirit of adventure, there's another way to explore the raw beauty of this Himalayan nation—through a motorbike tour. One of the most thrilling and scenic rides you can take is the Manang Motorbike Tour. This ride takes you deep into the Annapurna region, offering a blend of rugged trails, stunning landscapes, and authentic mountain culture.
In this blog, we’ll guide you through what makes the Manang motorbike tour so special, what you can expect, and how to prepare for this unforgettable journey. Whether you’re new to adventure motorbiking or planning your first high-altitude tour, this post has you covered.
Why Choose a Manang Motorbike Tour?
1. A Unique Himalayan Experience
Unlike other popular biking destinations that stick to paved roads and touristy spots, the Manang route takes you into the heart of the Himalayas. You’ll ride through remote villages, cross rivers, and climb steep gravel paths. The tour blends adventure with cultural immersion, giving you a close-up view of local life in the Annapurna region.
2. Unbeatable Scenery
From lush valleys to alpine forests and dramatic cliffs, the route to Manang offers a constantly changing landscape. One moment you’re riding along the Marsyangdi River, and the next, you're ascending towards the snow-capped peaks of Annapurna II and Gangapurna. The scenery here isn’t just beautiful—it’s breathtaking.
3. A True Off-Road Challenge
If you enjoy riding on challenging terrain, the Manang trail is perfect. The roads are mostly unpaved and rocky, testing both your riding skills and your endurance. But don’t worry—this isn’t about speed. It’s about taking your time and soaking in the adventure.
Where Is Manang?
Manang is a high-altitude town located at around 3,500 meters (11,500 feet) above sea level, nestled in the Manang District of Nepal. It’s a key stop on the popular Annapurna Circuit trekking route and lies within the Annapurna Conservation Area.
Though isolated, Manang is accessible by a rough road that winds its way from the lowland towns of Besisahar and Chame. In recent years, the road has been improved in sections, allowing experienced motorcyclists to reach this once-inaccessible area.
Best Time to Do the Manang Motorbike Tour
The best months to ride to Manang are March to May and September to November. These months offer the most stable weather, clear skies, and comfortable temperatures. During the monsoon season (June to August), the trails become slippery and dangerous due to rain. In winter (December to February), snowfall can block roads and make the ride treacherous.
What to Expect on the Road
1. Road Conditions
The ride to Manang is mostly off-road. Expect rocky trails, steep climbs, river crossings, and occasional landslides. The road becomes rougher as you ascend, especially after Chame. While the ride is tough, it's not impossible. With the right bike and preparation, even beginners with a bit of confidence can enjoy the journey.
2. Altitude Challenges
As you gain elevation, you may begin to feel the effects of altitude. Symptoms like shortness of breath, headaches, or fatigue can occur. It’s important to take your time, stay hydrated, and allow your body to adjust. Acclimatization stops are not just helpful—they're necessary.
3. Local Culture and Villages
One of the best parts of this trip is meeting the locals. Along the way, you’ll pass through charming villages like Pisang and Braga, each with its own unique culture and traditions. You’ll see Buddhist monasteries, prayer flags fluttering in the wind, and experience the warm hospitality of mountain communities.
Preparing for Your Manang Motorbike Tour
1. Choose the Right Bike
For this tour, a dirt bike or dual-sport motorbike is ideal. Bikes like the Royal Enfield Himalayan, Honda CRF 250, or similar adventure models work well on uneven terrain. Make sure your bike is in top condition, especially the tires, brakes, and suspension.
2. Gear Up Properly
Safety and comfort are key. Here’s a quick checklist of essential gear:
Helmet (full-face recommended)
Riding jacket and pants (preferably waterproof and armored)
Gloves (with good grip and protection)
Boots (sturdy, ankle-high, and waterproof)
Rain gear (you never know when the weather might change)
Thermal layers (it gets cold at higher altitudes)
Sunglasses or goggles (for dust and sun protection)
3. Pack Smart
You’ll need to carry only the essentials. Most villages have basic lodges and food, so there's no need to overpack. A small backpack or saddlebags with water, snacks, a first aid kit, and spare parts like inner tubes and cables should do the trick.
Tips for a Safe and Enjoyable Ride
1. Ride Slow, Ride Safe
Speeding on mountain roads is risky. The terrain is unpredictable, and you never know what’s around the next bend. Take your time, enjoy the views, and focus on control rather than speed.
2. Acclimatize
Don't rush the climb. Spend a night or two at mid-altitude stops like Pisang or Chame. This helps your body adjust to the thinner air and reduces the risk of altitude sickness.
3. Check the Weather
Weather can change rapidly in the mountains. Always check the forecast before heading out each day and be prepared to stop if the weather turns bad.
4. Stay Connected (When You Can)
Cell service is available in some areas, but not everywhere. It’s a good idea to carry a local SIM card with data or consider renting a satellite phone if you’re traveling solo or in small groups.
Responsible Riding in the Mountains
Tourism is a growing source of income for Himalayan communities, and motorbike tours are part of that. But with adventure comes responsibility. Here’s how you can travel respectfully:
Stick to established roads and trails
Don’t rev your engine in villages—keep noise to a minimum
Carry your trash out with you
Support local businesses by eating and staying in locally-owned lodges
Greet locals with respect (a simple “Namaste” goes a long way)
Why the Manang Motorbike Tour is Worth It
If you're looking for an adventure that goes beyond the ordinary, the Manang Motorbike Tour delivers. It’s not just about reaching a destination—it’s about the journey. Every turn in the trail offers a new view, a new challenge, and a new memory. The sense of freedom, the adrenaline of riding in the wild, and the peaceful moments in remote villages combine to create an experience like no other.
This tour gives you a chance to explore a side of Nepal that few tourists see. It's raw, real, and rewarding. Whether you're riding solo, with friends, or as part of a guided group, the Manang route will leave a mark on your soul—and likely a bit of mud on your boots.
Final Thoughts
The Manang Motorbike Tour is perfect for those who want more than just a vacation. It’s for those who crave connection—with nature, with culture, and with themselves. The road may be rough, the air thin, and the ride demanding, but the rewards? They’re unforgettable.
So, if you're ready to conquer rugged trails and experience the true heart of Nepal, start planning your ride to Manang today. Adventure awaits on every curve of the mountain road.
Would you like help choosing the right bike or gear for this tour?

Clinical Trials Support Services Market: Growth & Prospects
Tumblr media
Major regulatory authorities worldwide mandate pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies to conduct clinical trials prior to introducing any new drug, vaccine, therapy, or product to assess their probable outcomes. However, executing these trials is a rigorous process associated with several challenges. Several solution providers focus on offering support services to contract research organizations (CROs) that help to streamline processes. Experts at Triton Market Research estimate the global clinical trials support services market will progress with a CAGR of 7.84% in the forecast period from 2022 to 2028.
Disease incidence across the globe is surging rapidly. According to National Cancer Institute, annually reported cancer cases are expected to rise from 18.1 million in 2018 to 29.5 million by 2040. This necessitates an increased focus on developing treatment modalities, which would support the growth of the studied market.
Status of Clinical Trials across Regional Markets
Spain ranks fourth globally in terms of conducting clinical trials. In 2020, the top therapy areas for industry-sponsored trials in the country were cancer, infectious diseases, CNS disorders, respiratory ailments, and immunological conditions. That year, 1,019 trials received approval, of which 34% of the share was captured by oncology treatment drugs.
Thailand is an emerging hotspot for organizations to perform clinical studies because of its highly developed infrastructure, universal healthcare system, and supportive policies. Besides, the nation also boasts of a highly skilled workforce and a significant presence of research-based pharmaceutical companies and CROs.
Whereas, Turkey is working to achieve global competitiveness for performing clinical research, with rising attention from international players like Bayer AG, Takeda, and Janssen Pharmaceuticals. The vast majority of the trials conducted here are in phases II and III. The capabilities of its R&D centers and the efficacy of their results, make the nation an important research hub.
These developments imply enhanced adoption of support services in Europe, the Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East and Africa in the years to come.
Key Support Services in Demand
Data Management is expected to evolve the fastest, with a 10.26% CAGR
Clinical data management involves data collection, database design, CRF tracking & annotation, medical coding, etc. With growing data generation, it becomes essential to use data management systems to easily record data, minimize errors, and protect from data loss, among others. “Oracle Clinical,” “Macro,” “Clintrial,” and “Rave” are some systems that have gained immense popularity.
Clinical Trial Site Management accounted for the largest revenue share of $3624.69 million in 2021
Site management systems are required for effectively monitoring research sites and ensuring continuous communication between stakeholders. Clinical Conductor, offered by Advarra Inc, is a comprehensive trial management system that aids in optimizing finances, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing overall operations for research sites, networks, and healthcare institutions.
Market Players gain Leverage with Growth-oriented Strategies
In September 2021, Syneos Health acquired StudyKIK, a leading clinical trial recruitment and retention company. This acquisition will further help the company to boost its ability to deliver tech-enabled, insight-powered solutions to improve patient experience.
In October 2021, Parexel and Kyoto University Hospital announced a strategic collaboration aimed at providing more opportunities for clinical research and developing efficient solutions for supporting clinical studies.
In April 2022, Advanced Clinical announced its continued expansion in Europe by opening its new office in Switzerland, with a view to fully support the company’s current and new clients located in the country and also access its skilled talent pool.
Paving the way for Future amid Challenges
Stringent guidelines are issued by supervisory bodies to ensure that medical products are safe for consumption. Sometimes, ensuring that research institutions adhere to the required standards exceeds the set timelines. These delays are a major challenge for the institutions, especially as they increase the costs incurred.
However, incorporating tech-based services and solutions for regulatory purposes has made the overall trial processes more robust and efficient by saving time and money. For instance, ICON Plc offers support services that combine its operational expertise with extensive regulatory intelligence to ensure that the trials are in sync with the latest recommendations by administrative agencies.
Further, companies and CROs are increasingly preferring Japan to conduct clinical research, as the country’s regulatory frameworks now emphasize aligning their approval timelines with those in the United States and European nations. The regulative environment in South Africa has also changed drastically in recent years, with government policies being much more supportive. These favorable developments are indicative of positive prospects for the clinical trials support services market.
FAQs:
Q 1) Which are the main segments covered in the report?
The key segments covered in the global clinical trials support services market are Phase Type, Service, and Sponsor.
Q 2) Which are the key regions in the global clinical trials support services market?
The Asia-Pacific (fastest expected growth) and North America (highest revenue share).

まにまに (Merced) - r-906
youtube
Sigues temblando, ¿no?
[vii] ¡Quiero seguir aferrándome a ti!

Cutting Room Floor - Insidious Intent - XI
Birthday Sex
Sansa's first ILY, leaves Margaery appreciative.
It’s messy. It’s the most uncoordinated they’ve ever been. They stumble over their own feet, get tangled in clothing, twist hair in jewellery. And at that it’s wonderful. Sansa can’t stop giggling at the eagerness in that Margaery’s lips assault her, savour her, have her breathless. And Margaery can’t stop giggling either. Anyone watching them would think them drunk or high, and perhaps they are just a little bit.
Sansa back collides with a wall and knocks the air out of her. Margaery uses the moment she comes up to kiss her neck. She buries her face against her skin, sucks at her collar bone, scrapes teeth along the base of her throat, and Sansa just stands there smiling as she tilts her head back and lets her do what she has to do.
Now, Margaery is -despite prejudices Sansa might or might not have harboured at some point- hardly a pillow princess, but that eagerness tonight is absolutely unmatched. An anew giggle takes over Sansa as Margaery snaps her bra open and palms her breasts through her dress, while lips attach to the top of her breasts.
“Who’s using who as a human squeeze toy now,” Sansa breathes as hips pin her in place.
Margaery’s words come incoherent as she pulls the top of her dress down and nuzzles her face to bare breasts and an anew giggle breaks out of Sansa. Grinning like a fool she lets herself rest against the wall as Margaery kicks off her heels and makes most of the height difference that comes with Sansa still wearing hers. Sansa’s hand draws through silken tresses that have lost some of their elegant sleekness in the last few hours, and succumb to their natural waviness, tightens gently with lips wrapping around the peak of a breast.
“I love you so much.”
The words have Margaery go rampant, she tears at Sansa’s dress, her lips and fingers everywhere at once.
