ETABS Network Installation
youtube
ETABS network installation involves setting up the software across multiple computers in a network, allowing users to share a single license. The process begins with installing the ETABS network license server on a dedicated machine, which acts as the license manager. Afterward, ETABS is installed on client machines, which connect to the server to validate the license during use. Proper configuration of firewall and network settings is essential to ensure smooth communication between client and server. This setup allows organizations to efficiently manage ETABS licenses, offering flexibility and cost savings through shared usage across multiple users.

We also guarantee the success of your Infor SyteLine implementation. So, whether you’re commissioning an ERP system for the first time or replacing your current system, you don’t have to worry about the disruption of a failed implementation.
Among the biggest benefits of SyteLine for service providers is no longer having to enter data multiple times into disparate systems. Working with common data means that everyone works from the same real-time information, which:
Empowers your service technicians to complete more service orders
Enables your employees to spend more time building relationships with customers
Gives your managers the tools to analyze data and find strategic growth opportunities
SyteLine delivers the same type of functionality as SAP and Oracle for a fraction of the cost and none of the headaches associated with implementing a tier 1 ERP system.
Successful Implementations, Guaranteed
The BBTS team has implemented SyteLine successfully over 165 times since 2013 with a proven ERP implementation process that begins with improving inventory control, planning and forecasting, financial close, and other business processes. BBTS also provides post-implementation SyteLine enhancements, upgrades, business process improvements, and workflow optimization so you get the most out of your SyteLine investment.
Get Started Today
To determine if SyteLine ERP is right for you, we will connect you with one of our implementation experts as part of a process review. A successful implementation begins with understanding your core business processes, then recreating and evolving them in SyteLine.
Together, we can determine how you will benefit from SyteLine and calculate a target return on investment (ROI) to help justify the move. Contact us to learn more about SyteLine and how we are able to guarantee a successful ERP implementation when so many fail. If you think I've gotten less insane about StrickPage, no, I've just hit a minor depressive episode and been heads down lately but I still am working on The Project in the background and it continues to grow out of control I am just being Good and biting my tongue and staring at the wall when I get new info. But yeah the string wall is getting insane too I have no idea how I'll even make this a video essay series I might need a more experienced video editor's help legitimately. I have developed a deep and abiding loathing for the Genius phone App and a gnashing frustration at the fact one cannot forensically track changes to a Spotify playlist.
Incomplete Primary Sources now cover:
Five AEW Shows and [x] PPVs, a span of 350+ BTE episodes, footage from at least 6 other promotions, five plus albums and singles, Swerve's socials that he cleaned and/or recreated when he joined AEW, NOT Hangman's socials except Bsky skeets cuz I was slow, socials of others involved, at least three books, and miscellaneous promos, interviews, podcasts, documentaries, posts by fans about socials as secondary sources, playlists, and attempted CSI reconstructions of Spotify Playlist timelines.
I have fucked around with basic python for the first time to download containerized application 3rd party amazing open source software and had a meltdown when it then updated six weeks later and broke. I have learned so much about rap and r&b history my Spotify algorithm is permanently changed for the better, the same way getting in wrestling made my news apps send me push notifications about the local football team. I have paid for subscriptions for early 2010s indie wrestling archive footage and 'download everything from a public Instagram immediately with details' tools that make me both so happy and a little uncomfortable still.
Useful pre-existing knowledge so far: knowledge of Opera, Victorian Floriography, Horror Movies, some birding knowledge, your basic art history and queer history, and a strong layman's knowledge of Dolly Parton lore. Also just basic history, lit, and film nerd shit I think.
So yeah I am no longer raving about Gold in them hills in the streets, but I am collecting things in my cave of wonders like a little goblin and realizing I have dwelled too deep already and there's no way out but through the mountains and who knows how much I can carry out with me.

@hopestanding asked:
it’s a terrible thought. to die frightened and in pain. ( markus @ connor )
Tumblr media
Those words lingered in the stagnant air a long moment, the weight of the atmosphere surrounding them heavy, as if the stillness of it had settled upon the detective’s shoulders. He felt it pressing ever so slightly, more & more. His chest felt tight, & he drew a needless pseudo-breath to help dispel the feeling. It was all psychosomatic, he knew - androids did not experience these symptoms, but to Connor, it felt like the descriptions of tangible gravity humans experienced with guilt. & he did know guilt. He had learned the emotion well, becoming intimately familiar with its effects on his body & mind. Somehow he knew, even with the forgiveness of the Jericho leader, he would forever be marked as the deviant hunter.
That sensation was never far when dealing with cases such as the one he had been tasked with now. Another android had been found destroyed, the viscera which only barely resembled that of a living being scattered & discarded. The chassis had been brutalized, left in a dark hallway of an abandoned building in one of the more desolate areas of town. Servos had locked upon the sudden cease of function, keeping the dismantled form of the android locked in a state not unlike rigor mortis in humans, expression contorted into that of abject fear. Connor couldn’t make himself meet the android’s dead eyes, not after his reconstruction software had so completely calculated the manner of the other’s death. It was an AP700 model, one which had been listed as missing some time before the revolution.
One of many listed in the files upon files of cases still left unsolved by the DPD involving deviant androids. Though he had worked these cases for months alongside his partner, Connor always hated when their closure involved the discovery of a body.
Tumblr media
A faint sigh left him as he moved slowly to take a closer look, taking a knee besides the dismantled android. “When was he discovered?” His question was direct, to the point. He couldn’t afford to allow emotion to get the better of him, even if the scene horrified him in a way no human murder scene ever could. No matter how much the lieutenant tried to insist that androids weren’t all that different from humans, the RK unit knew that this just wasn’t the same. It was too close, far more personal to witness one of his own having been destroyed, knowing exactly which of the two designated intelligent species between them had done the slaying.
He understood why Markus had called him personally. Before the police got involved, before CSI & his fellow officers showed up, stealing away all the humanity from this display, rendering it cold & at the unwavering scrutiny of the law. Connor knew what had happened, how their victim had been chased down & mercilessly taken apart. This wasn’t a case of red ice related deactivation - he could see the splatters of thirium residue left over beneath the thickened puddles that had still yet to dry & evaporate. This was just hatred. This was overkill. It made his whole chassis twitch as a shiver ran down the length of his spinal assembly.

Allow me to clarify:
Single source DNA is real.
Toxicology and drug testing are real.
Probabilistic genotyping accurately suggests sources are present but we have no way of knowing if the likelihood ratios are correct because the software has not been (and cannot be fully) independently verified and validated.
Firearm toolmark examiners disagree with themselves 60% of the time when they view the same casings or bullets a second time.
Fingerprints are unique but fingerprint analysis does not accurately identify fingerprints to the level suggested by analysts, being wrong roughly 1 in 20 times.
Facial recognition has huge racial biases and is not accurate.
Polygraphs, hair analysis, bite marks, and profiling are all comedically discredited. For some ungodly reason the odontology people are trying to bring bitemark back.
Bloodspatter evidence vastly overstates the amount of accurate information it can provide.
I was just at a conference where someone was developing the technology to "identify" people using nail beds and knuckle prints. When we asked them to show us the studies that indicate there is any level of uniqueness/semi-uniqueness to fingernail beds or knuckle prints they could not do so.
Bad forensic science contributed to over half of wrongful convictions overturned by the innocence project. While some of it has probative value, the level of accuracy indicated on TV (and stated in the courtrooms) is overstated to an irresponsible degree. People believe scientific testimony over video evidence and confessions. Real people are being falsely convicted because people saw wild shit on CSI, and prosecutors/forensic scientists count on that to obtain convictions.
Things that work in fiction but not real life
torture getting reliable information out of people
knocking someone out to harmlessly incapacitate them for like an hour
jumping into water from staggering heights and surviving the fall completely intact
calling the police to deescalate a situation
rafting your way off a desert island
correctly profiling total strangers based on vibes
effectively operating every computer by typing and nothing else
ripping an IV out of your arm without consequences

Turning Happy Customers Into Lifelong Relationships: How Paul Burkemper Is Helping Car Dealers Win in the Long Run
Tumblr media
In the high-stakes world of automotive retail, it’s easy to get caught up in the numbers: monthly sales targets, lead volume, gross per unit. But in 2024 and beyond, the most forward-thinking dealerships are focusing on a different metric: customer lifetime value.
Why? Because acquisition is getting more expensive. Customer expectations are rising. And in a competitive, digitally driven market, one-time transactions are no longer enough to sustain long-term growth.
Enter Paul Burkemper, CEO and Co-Founder of VINsyt, a technology company built around a simple but powerful idea: if you treat customer satisfaction as a trigger—not an endpoint—you can turn every sale into a starting point for real retention and revenue.
“Most dealers already have the asset they need to grow—it’s their existing customer base,” says Burkemper. “The challenge is activating that value without adding complexity to their day.”
And that’s exactly what VINsyt is built to do.
Beyond the Sale: The Shift to Retention-Driven Growth
Historically, car dealerships have been volume-driven businesses. Move inventory. Hit quotas. Get through the month. While this model delivered results in past decades, it’s now facing serious headwinds.
New car margins are tighter than ever
EV and direct-to-consumer competition is growing
Consumer loyalty is weakening
Digital disruptors are redefining the buying journey
In this landscape, customer retention is no longer a “nice to have”—it’s a competitive advantage.
But retention requires more than good intentions. It demands consistent, well-timed engagement. And that’s where many dealerships struggle.
“Dealers know the value of retention,” says Paul Burkemper. “But until now, they haven’t had the right tools to execute it consistently, efficiently, and at scale.”
VINsyt: Retention, Automated
VINsyt is a smart, seamless platform that automates key acts of retention across the entire customer lifecycle.
The system works by integrating into a dealership’s CRM and DMS, using data like CSI scores, purchase history, service intervals, and loyalty indicators to trigger personalized follow-ups. These might include:
Thank-you messages post-purchase
Invitations to return for service
Trade-in value notifications
Special offers for high-satisfaction customers
Re-engagement for lost leads or inactive accounts
The key? It all happens automatically, so busy teams don’t have to remember who to call or when to reach out.
VINsyt turns every positive customer moment into a business opportunity—and ensures that no relationship slips through the cracks.
“The best time to deepen a relationship is when the customer’s already happy,” Burkemper explains. “We make sure dealers don’t miss that window.”
Empowering the Frontline
One of VINsyt’s biggest strengths is its simplicity. The platform was designed with dealership workflows in mind, so it doesn’t create more tasks—it eliminates them.
Salespeople no longer have to manually follow up or guess who might be ready to re-engage. Service teams get alerts tied to real customer satisfaction. And managers get clear metrics on retention performance—so they can coach their teams more effectively.
This operational clarity turns retention from a vague goal into a repeatable process.
“Dealers don’t need more software,” says Paul Burkemper. “They need solutions that fit how they already work—and make them better at what they do.”
The platform’s simplicity also means faster onboarding, higher adoption, and measurable ROI in a matter of weeks.
Dealers Speak: Results That Matter
Dealerships using VINsyt are seeing real-world impact across multiple areas:
Increased service retention
Faster trade-in cycles
Higher CSI scores
Improved team efficiency
Lower marketing spend per repeat sale
And perhaps most importantly: stronger customer loyalty in a market that’s more competitive than ever.
By automating the small, meaningful touches that build trust, dealers can stand out from competitors who still rely on impersonal email blasts and transactional thinking.
“VINsyt helps us stay connected to customers without overwhelming our team,” said one franchise GM. “We’ve never been more efficient—or more confident in our ability to retain.”
A Leader Built for the Moment
What makes Paul Burkemper such a timely figure in this space is his ability to blend tech innovation with dealership empathy.
Before launching VINsyt, Burkemper spent years working with dealerships firsthand. He understands the pressures they face—from sales targets and service throughput to staffing shortages and vendor fatigue.
That experience shows in VINsyt’s design. It’s fast. It’s practical. It respects the reality of how dealerships operate—while helping them do more with what they already have.
“We didn’t set out to build another platform dealers had to manage,” says Burkemper. “We built something that works in the background and drives value automatically.”
As VINsyt expands its reach, Burkemper remains laser-focused on delivering tools that create meaningful business results—not just dashboards and data dumps.
Final Thoughts: The New Era of Automotive Loyalty
In the future of car sales, success won’t belong to those who sell the most cars—it’ll belong to those who build the most trust.
Trust that continues after the sale. Trust that turns happy customers into repeat customers. Trust that transforms one good experience into a long-term relationship.
And thanks to leaders like Paul Burkemper, that future is already here.
With VINsyt, he’s proving that when dealerships are equipped with the right tools, they can turn every satisfied customer into a competitive edge—and build a business that’s not just driven by sales, but by sustainable loyalty.
“Retention isn’t a trend,” says Burkemper. “It’s the foundation of lasting success in automotive. And it starts with listening to your happiest customers—and making sure they feel valued long after the sale.”

Not. Helping.
Actively making things worse for some peeps, actually.
For all my peeps that just took massive psychic damage & unlocked a new fear/anxiety from that:
1) The fingerprints taken for background checks are looking to see if you have a criminal record (i.e you have been arrested and charged) or otherwise have been previously fingerprinted for a few key data bases. I promise you would be aware if you had been finger printed for any of these data bases.
There's no massive country/world wide database of every tiny bit of forensic information gathered from every scene of every crime that your finger prints might be flagged on. Especially not one the very tired county clerk trying to fight with the shitty software used with the fingerprinting scanner is gonna have access to.
2) life is not CSI. Planting evidence is a thing, but it's more likely to cause the person committing all these crimes to get caught than it is to result in you being charged for something you're not. Rule of thumb: the more crimes you commit in a single incident the more likely you are to get caught. Also, planting fingerprints is really hard and more likely to result in them being horribly smudged or just implicate the person trying to smudge them.
3) if someone hates you enough to commit a terrible crime just to plant your fingerprints at the scene in some wild scheme to get you arrested, that's your Big Dramatic Nemesis. You are now 100x cooler for having a Big Dramatic Nemesis, which means you can now walk away from explosions in slow mo, stage elaborate heists on the fly, and never have to say hello or goodbye on phone calls. Congrats on being a cool hero character now.
Seriously though, if yall see a post talking about how xyz thing that is very unlikely to happen but the idea of which causes a lot of anxiety in people, don't suggest that the thing is actually possible to happen and that you need to be *more anxious* about everything to be safe!
Again: Not. HELPING. Actively making things worse for some folks!!
tbh the best way that i explain to other people what it feels like to live with an anxiety disorder is the one time when i had to get a fingerprint and background check done for a job and i, someone who has never received so much as a speeding ticket my whole life, spent thirty minutes panicking that i would fail because i might secretly be a criminal and have no idea

I hope people realize the seriousness of this story, it means the contents of your cell phone can be accessed without any phishing click. This software is so controversial, that it was banned in the US, but there's a suspicion that Trump allowed it in a side deal with Netanyahu.
Laws and investigations are somewhat subjective in nature, so this puts anyone and everyone's privacy at risk. AI assistants are already trying to knock the privacy wall down, and big brother is right around the corner. Technology is not serving the people, it's a Damocles sword held over everyone's head.
Finally, the OPP is a provincial police organization, why on earth would that level of policing need this type of tool in the first place? This level of invasion should be reserved for the RCMP or CSIS.

THPS3 Black Label Mix Song Removal Alert!
I am going to phase out Nujabes' "Who's Theme" (feat. MINMI) from the Xbox and PC versions of the TONY HAWK'S PRO SKATER 3 NGO Black Label Mix. I might bring it back in an Xbox One & Series X music pack for the upcoming TONY HAWK'S PRO SKATER 3+4, but who knows? Once the song is gone, you can no longer download the mix that has it. If you have the XISO or the PC patch that has the song, feel free to distribute it, since I will no longer have it on future uploads on my end.
To replace "Who's Theme", I will be including The Who's "Who Are You" as a trade-off. CSI and The Masked Singer fans should recognize this tune. You can download the mixes here:
