CSIR UGC NET Notification June 2023: The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has released the official notification of the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December-2022 / June-2023 for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS) /Assistant Professor in Indian Universities. On behalf of CSIR, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct Joint CSIR-UGC NET Exam. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online here. Joint CSIR UGC NET is a test being conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS) /Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC. How to Apply

The applicant must submit self-attested copies of certificates along with the application form (as per the format annexed) and a brief of research work done vis-à-vis publications in peer-reviewed journals during postgraduation & present employment and two passport size photographs. Applicants must bring with them all original documents at the time of the interview for verification.

Applicants with minimum eligibility need to appear for an interview.

The interview will be held on 26th February 2021 at 11.00 am in ICAR-IARI, Regional Station, Indore

Reporting time for interview: 10.00 AM at ICAR-IARI, Regional Station, Indore-452 001

Terms & Conditions:

1). The candidate intending to attend the interview, if any of his/her near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in writing before the interview date.

2). The candidates are required to submit the application at the time of interview as per the format annexed along with the declaration form as per the format annexed.

3). No objection and experience certificate from the employer in case he/she is in employment.

4). All eligible candidates are requested to be present 60 minutes before the scheduled time on the date of the interview for necessary formalities.

5). Initially the period of engagement will be up to February 2022, and extendable till the termination of the project subject to satisfactory performance.

6). Positions are purely time-bound, non-regular and on a co-terminus basis with the project. An appointment can be terminated on one month’s notice.

7). The selected candidate shall have no legal right to claim regularization by absorption or otherwise against any regular posts or any further contractual engagement on termination of the Project.

8). Candidates reaching after the specified timing will not be entertained.

9). Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature. The Head’s decision will be final and binding in all respects.

10). No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

11). Any other clarifications can be had on the date of the interview.

National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) is an autonomous Institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. Research Positions (Temporary): Research Associate-I

Duration: Till 26th June 2022

Essential qualification: Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree in Life Sciences or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/ M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) journal. (Eligibility criteria as DST OM No.SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019.

Desired Experience: Experience in plant or agricultural biotechnology, plant tissue culture, rice or any other crop plant transformation, genome editing, genomics/bioinformatics.

Emoluments:– Rs. 47000/- per month plus 8% HRA. (As per DST OM No. SR/s9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019)

Responsibilities:– Maintaining fungal cultures, Genome editing, tissue culture, transformation, molecular biology

3. The applications should be submitted strictly as per the prescribed format that can be downloaded from the NABI website.

4. Candidates applying for more than one position can give their preference in the same application by ticking multiple positions. No need to submit a separate application form for each position.

Important points:

1. Walk-in-Interview starts at 9.30 AM on 27 -10-2020

2. Eligible candidates may appear for the interview at the following venue Seri Biotech Research Laboratory, Carmelaram post, Kodathi, Bangalore-560035 (Landmark : Near Harvest International School approximately 2.5 KM from Kodathi gate bus stop on Sarjapur Road)

3. Applications will NOT be accepted by post/ e-mail/ courier.

4. Age limit: 28 years as on 01/10/2020 (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and women candidates).

5. Fresh M.Sc. passed candidates are encouraged to apply.

6. No TA/DA will be provided to attend the interview.

7. The above-mentioned positions are purely temporary, on a contractual basis, and are coterminous with the project. Further claims for any post will not be entertained thereafter.

8. Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature.

9. The decision of the Director shall be final and binding in all respects.

10. The candidate attending the said interview must strictly adhere to the precautionary measures implemented by the Govt. of India for the containment of COVID-19 in the country.

11. All the candidates will undergo thermal screening before the interview

12. The candidates are advised to maintain social distancing, use face mask and sanitizers without fail.
