Byler kind of HAS to end this way in Season 5 - Let's talk #Castlegate
Let's have another Gate, shall we? =D
We're all freaking out and speculating how Byler will culminate. I've already given my best guess how it'll happen. But it's still a guess.
But I'm PRETTY SURE on a scene that would happen late in the season, If Byler is endgame. It's almost borne by NECESSITY.
I'll explain:
In s2 we saw Mike donating his toys, like his parents told him to...
In s3 we saw him tell Will, "We're not kids anymore. I mean what did you think, really? That we were never gonna get girlfriends? That we were just gonna sit in my basement all day and play games for the rest of our lives?"
And Will destroyed Castle Byers...
As someone points out in the comments, this wasn't just Will thinking he was "stupid" for wanting to play games, but for wanting a life with Mike...
A theme for Mike has been telling himself to put away "childish things," to "grow up" and be "normal." But he doesn't really want to: in s4 he's playing D&D again. He tries to bury his feelings for Will, but he gives up on that also.
If he and Will get together in s5, then there's no use trying to be "normal" when you're a boy with a boyfriend in small-town Indiana. They will start defining for themselves who they are. And that could include "playing D&D and Nintendo for the rest of their lives."
That's why, at the end of Season 5, after Mike and Will get together, they have to rebuild Castle Byers. They get to rebuild their childhood dreams and hope for the future.
We've already seen that Castle Byers will be featured in the season 5 BTS video:
Castle Byers is probably important in s5 for a number of reasons. It's where Will hid in s1 while in the Upside Down.
It's a possible place for the planned Miwi flashback(s) of young Jonathan, Mike and Will. Jonathan helped Will build Castle Byers when Lonnie left. Young Mike and Will must have spent a lot of time there playing pretend, playing out stories that became their D&D games. (I'm hoping for a flashback of a young Mike playing a paladin swearing allegiance to Will saying he'll always protect Castle Byers!)
When Gaten Matarazzo read the script for the final episode, he called it a "full circle" moment. I'm sure there'll be several moments. I'm willing to bet money we'll see the Original Four playing D&D together. I'm pretty sure another will be Mike and Will going to Castle Byers together and rebuilding it.
And of course, they'll kiss there!
This, more than anything, is a way to show they've fully accepted who they are, who they've always been, and always will be.
It's a perfect way to culminate the "childhood friends to lovers" trope: they end right where they began.

I know a lot of bylers are bored so here is a new gate I had the idea of. @teambyler made a similar gate called Castlegate which says that Mike and Will are going to rebuild the castle together. Note that I didn't know it before making my post :)
So, I present to you: Castlebyersgate
So, in my mind whats Castlebyersgate? It is a theory that says that Mike rebuilt Castle Byers while Will was in California, so he could remember him and also use it as a way of saying "sorry" because of what happened in S3 when Will destroyed this place. It can have 2 branches, either he just rebuilt it as Castle Byers or he rebuilt is naming it Castle Wheeler-Byers.
Annnd, it it also a theory that says that Byler is going to share their first kiss in this very same place.
It could be either in the Upside Down or in the real world, doesn't really matter honestly.
So yeah, what do you guys think? Do you believe in Castlebyersgate?

York’s forgotten cinemas
Have you passed by this grand structure on Fossgate and wondered what it once was?
The building where Cosy Club now resides was actually the first purpose built cinema in York. The Electric cinema was built in 1911 and was renamed the Scala before it closed in 1957. Inside, plaster mouldings from the cinema still survive today.
At the start of the 20th century cinema was thriving and so York continued to open theatres across the city.
Before the Picture House on Coney Street we know today, in 1915, there was an original Picture House further along the street which can be seen in the fantastic image of soldiers lining up to enter! The Victorian building was once a doctors home and surgery but was demolished after the closure of the cinema in 1955. Woolworths expanded into the site that is now Boots.
The final cinema we are featuring is Fairfax House, formerly St George’s cinema, a 1000-seater auditorium, the largest independent cinema in the country at the time in 1921. Fairfax House was merged with 25 Castlegate to make up the cinema as well as an L shaped ballroom.

Dog and Bone
This is a vintage shop located in the centre of York, the location is; 28 Castlegate, York YO1 9RP. The owner specifically chose Castlegate road as it has many tourists walking the streets like people coming from York Castle Museum and Van Gogh Museum giving them a better chance of getting customers and also people talking to family and friends about it if they seem interested giving them multiple ways to increase advertisement without paying anything. They have also got a Facebook account (Dog & Bone Vintage (dogandbonevintage.com), Instagram account (Dog & Bone Vintage (@dogandbonevintage) • Instagram photos and videos) and there website (Dog & Bone Vintage (dogandbonevintage.com)) including the chance to shop online if for any reason you cant get to the shop costing £2.99 for shipping. This advertisement gives them publicity to the entire world rather than just York giving them opportunities to interest others to come to York and visit places while visiting there shop.
The products sold in the shop are high quality, all of the clothes are in fantastic condition even though some are 2nd hand. As the quality of the clothes are high the average price is around £70 the cheapest being £5 and the highest being £250. Dog and Bone has many interesting and interesting variety of vintage clothes for men and women, targeting mainly targeting people in their 60s and younger. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful with an overall cosy atmosphere.

The dog and bone vintage store was a retro blast from the past with hand picked tote bags, flannel shirts, bandanas, cargo work trousers (Including their best seller; tweed jackets.) There prices may range from £5-£250 depending on the quality, condition and rarity of the item as all is hand selected there are rare items that may be missed by a commercial charity shop worker due to a small hole that may not decrease the value in accordance with the rarity.
They target an older demographic, supplying authentic vintage goods they would have enjoyed in their youth. However they also hold a wide appeal to a younger generation due to the resurgence of 80-90s fashion.
Dog & Bone use social media as there main source of advertisement such as : Instagram ( @Dog&BoneVintage ) and( https://www.facebook.com/share/8d8V1qK23sCeeALG ) ; York tourist guides; website and online shopping (£2.99 UK shipping). They are located within a high traffic area notably next to a Van Gogh exhibit and the York castle museum. - 28 Castlegate, York YO1 9RP -
In my opinion Bog and Bone vintage was reasonably priced and possessed a comfortable and “hippie” aesthetic made you not want to leave. However I found the women’s sections lacking in interest compared to the male selection restricting there choice market.

How Massage Helps Restore Balance in the Body?

Everyday life often disrupts the body’s natural balance due to stress, poor posture, or muscle tension. Massage is a highly effective way to restore harmony, relieve discomfort, and improve overall wellbeing.
How Does Massage Restore Balance?
Releasing Muscle Tension. Tight muscles can restrict movement and cause pain. Deep tissue techniques gently release this tension, allowing for freer, more comfortable movement.
Targeting Trigger Points. By focusing on areas of concentrated tension, known as trigger points, massage alleviates pain and restores mobility without discomfort.
Improving Joint Mobility. Gentle mobilisation and traction techniques help restore flexibility and alignment, easing strain on joints and surrounding tissues.
Working with Ligaments and Fascia. Balance involves more than just muscles. By addressing ligaments and fascia, massage provides a deeper, long-lasting impact.
Relaxation and Stress Relief. Massage promotes relaxation, reducing stress and allowing the body to naturally recover its harmony.
Why This Approach Works?
By addressing the root causes of imbalance, massage offers not only immediate relief but also long-term benefits. Each session is personalised to meet your needs, ensuring comfort and effectiveness.
Restore your body’s balance and experience a sense of lightness and ease. Book your session today and take the first step toward a healthier, more harmonious you.

JOHN NEVISON
JOHN NEVISON
Highwayman
1639-1684
John Nevison (William Nevison) was a British veteran of the Battle of Dunkirk (1658) who excelled with horses and weapons.
He became a highwayman but even though he was a thief, he was known for being courteous, elegant and stylish. Women couldn’t get enough of him, one newspaper described him as ‘very fabourable to the female sex’.
In 1676 he robbed a traveller near Rochester, Kent, and was in desperate need of an alibi, so he devised a plan. He crossed the River Thames and rode on his horse to York in a day, travelling 200-miles (320 km). When he arrived he had a conversation with the Lord Mayor of York. It paid off, the Lord Mayor later became Nevison’s alibi during his trial. The jury couldn’t believe that he was able to ride from Kent to York in a single day, so he was found not guilty. Afterwards was nicknamed ‘Swift Nick’ by King Charles II of England.
In 1677, he conducted another highway robbery at York. He was captured and imprisoned in York Castle, but managed to escape in 1681. A reward was offered for his capture and he was arrested in March 1684 near Wakefield. He was tried for the murder of Darcy Fletcher, a constable who had tried to arrest him near Howley Hall, Soothill, Batley.
Nevison was taken to York and was hanged at Knavesmire on 4 May 1684 and buried in an unmarked grave in St Mary’s Church, Castlegate.
