I just watched an Overwatch lore video and one of the comments was "overwatch is so cool, too bad it's overwatch"

I think I took actual psychic damage from that comment.

Like gameplay kinda sucks for the game right now but the lore always goes hard. I will still find myself lost in the Overwatch hellscape for years to come

Everyone needs to know I saw a very Soap-coded redneck today.

He came in with family(?) And was just such a cool looking dude. Had a mohawk mullet thing going on, looked just really fucking cool.

But it was the way he carried himself and I heard him talking with someone and I was like "American Soap??"

Absolutely hate when someone says something to you, and it's clear they're trying to be helpful or show their concern in a manner that isn't direct, but you're not in the mental space to receive it well.

Absolutely hate when you've made a lot of progress on your mental health only for something to happen and you take a step backwards. Absolutely hate that this is a part of the healing process: that healing isn't linear.

Absolutely hate executive dysfunction when I already feel that it's been harder to function

Honestly hate being autistic sometimes. It's just the pressure to perform well in everything is just horrible. Just there's been some things going on lately and it's kinda making the issues worse

Guys I'm being terrorized by birds

Every day for the last week that I've eaten lunch in my car, a bird will attack my windshield or my passenger window

I hate finally getting into the zone with writing only to be on a time restriction.

Like I don't wanna go back to work. I'd rather sit here and write than walk dogs. Granted, it's a really nice day out, so walking dogs won't be terrible and will feel pretty nice but still.

I wish some people would just use common sense

My mom ordered food to be delivered to me since I'm working today and she's off for spring break (she's a teacher), and it's my Friday so she wanted to do something nice for me (I don't work Tuesday/Wednesdays) *I seriously love my momma*

Well, it didn't arrive until a little after 1, which the shelter closes from 1-2 everyday for staff lunch and critter quiet time. I am at the smaller, adoption satellite location today. By the time the food arrived, it was just me in the building.

The food arrived at the same time as these two elderly ladies. I used a side door to grab the food, while they were at the front doors. We have a little hanging sign that says "CLOSED" on it. And the door was locked

These women tried the door several times, squinted at the sign, and so i was like "Hi, we're closed right now"

And you know what they fucking said?

"Well the little clock on the sign still says 10" *which is what time we open in the mornings*

I fucking- like? What?

Use some sense.

The door is locked, the sign says closed. Who fucking cares if the little clock says a time that's already passed??? Like clearly we aren't open!! There's a list of our hours just to the side of the door, too, okay?

They then were like "we have several questions" and I really didn't want to be rude and just be like "we're closed, come back at 2" and shut the door on them. So I ended up "answering" their questions. Half of them were about breeds of the puppies we have here and I was like "I don't know off the top of my head, but if you come back at 2, I can answer your questions properly."

They also proceeded to realize we open again at 2 and told me "we'll just wait in the car" Meanwhile I'm standing there like "great, wonderful, can I fucking eat my lunch?"
