The queue to check in was long at the hotel you were staying.

When you had been told about this city, this was not quite what they were saying.

But what was that Saying exactly, if not the misconceptions of the majority?

Who say it's the city of romance, love and, like, beauty?

They'd probably never been to Paris, really.

Because it was hard to picture all of that, taking an overpriced taxi.

Or the metro that you were certain doubled as a sewer.

And seeing the swarms of tourists along Champs-Élysées lining up to buy bags or whatever.

So what was it, really? What did everyone come here to find?

And what was it you were expecting an ideal night in Paris to be?

Well, if we're talking about Ideals, only one name comes to mind.

And of course it's her. It's Kim Minji.

So you imagine that Ideal. You imagine her just ahead of you in the queue.

And she happens to be here, right now, in the same city, at the same hotel, because she's here to see you.

Wait, no. This is your imagination, sure, but you'd still like to be realistic. Yes, that's what you'd like to do.

So you tell yourself she'd be here for work. And if you asked her what she thought, she'd probably think that was more realistic, too.

So, she's here for work and you're also here, just by complete chance.

And she finishes checking in and happens to shoot you a glance.

And she's here for work, but of course she's here alone, without her manager.

Because you like to be realistic, except when it comes to thinking about her.

Just like in high school when you thought you could ask her out.

But to her, you were just The One Sitting Two Rows Behind, no doubt.

That's beside the point, though, because she's here now and she's staring straight at you.

Checking to make sure that it's really Her Classmate From A Year Ago Or Two.

She walks over to you and you walk over to her, leaving your place in line as you do.

Because, with her right in front of you, there can be nowhere else to go to.

And she's smiling with those eyes, the ones that had you enchanted, enthralled, enraptured and all that.

And she's happy to see you, it seems, and she wants to have a chat.

The typical How are yous and I'm goods are exchanged.

A predetermined sequence of words that someone else arranged.

That should be awkwardly repeated whenever you meet Someone From Way Back When.

Or, in this case, when you happen to meet the girl who was your High School Crush then.

But we all know you never stopped liking her. You were in love and you always had been.

A Crush, evidently, does exactly what it says on the tin.

Because you feel again now that familiar pressure in your chest. That Feeling you feel whenever she's near.

And after not seeing her for so long (she's more stunning than you remember), you're falling all over again, you fear.

You're falling but this time she catches you. She has something important to say.

She says, "You can check in later. Wanna hang out in my room?" Stunned, you manage an Okay.

So you two are alone, heading to her room in an elevator.

You think to yourself, "What if someone finds out about this later?"

But she leaves you no time to think as her hand brushes yours.

And suddenly you want the building to have an infinite number of floors.

Because her hair is tucked behind her ear just so.

So you can see her neck and watch all her skin glow.

Stupidly but slowly, you lean in.

And she turns to you with this stupid grin.

An I've-got-you-now grin that's just so sly.

You have no other choice now but to comply.

And her eyes say something like, "I want you, too."

And the next thing you know, she's kissing you.

Her perfume. It's Chanel. Chance, Eau Vive.

And she smells so good, like you wouldn't believe.

Then you're in her room and she's in your embrace.

And you finally get it, why people love this place.

Because Paris is Paris. It's the City of Love.

And you found her here under the stars above.

Chance Eau Vive by Chanel is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women. Chance Eau Vive was launched in 2015. The nose behind this fragrance is Olivier Polge. Top notes are Blood Orange, Grapefruit and Citruses; middle notes are Jasmine and White Musk; base notes are Vetiver, Cedar and Iris.

Chanel launches the new fragrance CHANCE EAU VIVE which belongs to the Chanel Chance collection and arrives on the market on June 12th 2015. The collection was started with fragrance Chanel Chance in 2003, followed by versions Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche in 2007 and Chanel Chance Eau Tendre in 2010. The collection is refreshed with new flacon form at the beginning of this year, so the fragrances can also be purchased as 35 ml now.

CHANEL CHANCE EAU VIVE is signed by perfumer Olivier Polge who blends sparkling notes of grapefruit with juicy, explosive red orange, providing citrus splash to elegant jasmine and white musk. Base notes of the composition mix vetiver, cedar and iris, leaving a fresh, gentle, elegant and subtle trail.

Fragrance repeats the same flacon form as previous editions of the collection and will be available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

Who is Fabrice Mathieu ? Passionate about cinema, Fabrice Mathieu started studying at the French Film school ESRA while making his first short films in Super 8 and video. From his initial encounters a new group was born "Mauvaises Graines (Bad Seeds)" composed of actors, directors and musicians. UNE SOURCE D'ESPÉRANCE

Elle venait puiser de l'eau le midi en plein soleil pour être sûre de ne rencontrer personne parce qu'elle avait honte de sa vie misérable. Elle avait bien essayé de la combler avec toutes sortes de plaisirs, de joies passagères, comme beaucoup le font avec le sexe, l'argent (pas toujours gagné honnêtement), la drogue, et autres... mais finalement, sa vie était comme un panier percé qui ne retient pas le bonheur. Et elle n'avait plus d'espoir de retrouver des jours meilleurs.

Pourtant, bien qu'elle ne dût rencontrer personne à cette heure et dans ce lieu, elle rencontra Jésus. Et lorsque l'on rencontre Jésus, lorsque l'on prie avec un cœur brisé pour qu'il vienne au secours de notre vie gâchée, alors des sources d'eau vive vienne restaurer notre âme.

Pourtant, aujourd'hui vous avez l'opportunité de rencontrer Jésus, sans lui cacher votre vie gâchée qu'il connaît, vous avez cette possibilité de répartir d'où vous êtes avec Sa vie en abondance. Selon Sa promesse : "Celui qui croit en moi, des fleuves d’eau couleront de son cœur et cette eau donne la vie.” Jean 7:38

Que Dieu, la source de l'espérance, vous remplisse d'une joie et d'une paix parfaites par votre foi en lui, afin que vous débordiez d'espérance par la puissance du Saint-Esprit. (Romains 15:13)

Já que vocês gostaram de saber que “contratipo” no ~mundo dos perfumes~ significa “imitação”, tenho outros termos inúteis que aprendi por falta do que fazer (na verdade tem um motivo, outra hora explico):

Perfume assinatura: se “impeachment” é o que o Jacob tem com a filha da Bella em Crepúsculo, o “perfume assinatura” é aquele que te define. É o perfume da sua vida, num resumo. Pode ser mais de um, pode não ser nenhum (ou talvez você demore a encontrar) e pode até mesmo mudar conforme o tempo passa, normal. Tenho dois perfumes assinatura: La Nuit Trésor (da Lancôme) e Tonka, da Granado (ninguém perguntou);

Decant: é aquele vidrinho de amostra-grátis de perfume, só que com nome chique não sei pra quê;

Flanker: quando um perfume tem várias versões, mantendo a identidade do primeiro. Vamos usar o exemplo do meu perfume de pobre favorito, o Pur Blanca, da Avon. Tem a versão original (amo no pós-banho), mas tem também o “noite”, o “charme”, “harmonia, “energia”, deve ter outros também;

Gourmand: é uma tendência olfativa que designa perfumes com cheiro de comida, mas na maior parte das vezes é associado a perfumes extremamente doces. Laranja, por exemplo, não é gourmand, é frutado. Mas chocolate e caramelo são gourmand. Aprendi esse termo porque descobri que minhas notas favoritas em perfume são da família gourmand e acho essa família com mais chance de criar perfumes originalíssimos do que os florais, por exemplo, mas admito que ~não é pra todo mundo~, já que podem ser perfumes enjoativos e, aqui no Brasil, só combina com dias frios;

Formiguinha: povo que gosta de perfume gourmand;

Layering: especialistas dizem que “layering” é quando você sobrepõe camadas de perfumes, mas eu chamo de misturar mesmo. Hoje em dia tem “layering” sendo vendido pra você misturar com perfumes específicos, a Benetton, por exemplo, faz isso;

Sintético: quando um perfume tem cheiro artificial de coisa que dava pra ter cheiro real. Tipo, sei lá, morango . O termo com frequência é associado aos perfumes da Avon, mas acho injusto, são perfumes ótimos, melhor do que esses boticários água de salsicha e CAROS que vocês vivem comprando;

Compartilhável: perfume genderfluid, pode ser usado por homens e mulheres;

Projeção: o tanto que um perfume vai incomodar quem está ao seu lado. Galera fã dos Egeo da vida, esse recado é para vocês;

Fixação: o tanto que um perfume vai ficar na sua pele. Depende de cada pele, sinto muito se você sofreu a maldição da pele que não fixa perfume algum;

Body splash: cê vai passar depois do banho e vai durar cinco minutos. Use para dormir. Dizem que O Boticário vende bons body splash (bons em termos de fixação e projeção) e péssimos perfumes que, esses sim, deveriam ser tratados como body splash;

Colônia: também não vai durar nadinha, mas use no calor e leve um ~decant~ na bolsa para reaplicar;

EDT ou eau de toilette: tem mais essência e é bem menos diluído que uma colônia, duração aí de até seis horas na pele e baixa projeção. Acho mais inteligente comprar EDT do que colônia se você vive em regiões mais frias;

EDP ou eau de parfum: é o mais perto de perfume puro que você pode chegar, ideal é que fixe por oito horas ou mais e tenha projeção considerável. Pelo amor de Deus, não usem no calor;

Parfum: extratos com muita concentração de essência. Coisa cara. Coisa pra dormir com três gotas de Chanel n°5. Cheiro de ryca, não tenho dinheiro pra isso.
