I love headcanoning the Beifong family as just an naturally petite family. Like the most badass family that just happen to be very very tiny and very, very mad about it.

Toph is a small chaos gremlin, we all know this.

Lin is like 5'1 feet of pure, unadulterated rage. Conpensates for it by terrifying everyone in a five mile radius.

Suyin is a just couple inches taller than Lin and Lin hates it. Baatar Sr is actually pretty tall but very gangly.

Baatar Jr is a scrankly little nerd. His book 4 glowup never happened. Once he gets back to the Beifong estate under house arrest and Kuvira stops forcing him to workout he immediately goes back to his natural scrankliness.

Huan- lanky thin little stickman emo. Could break him in two over my knee.

Opal takes after her grandma and is an absolute lil chaos gremlin. Once she got airbending she became unstoppable and now keeps bending herself onto surfaces she previously could not reach.

The twins are, i imagine, the tallest of their siblings which still isn't saying much. Ate their veggies as kids. Since I always headcanon that they take part in their mother's dance shows i always headcanon them with like, male ballet dancer builds. (Weilin height difference, Weilin height difference, Weilin hei-)

Kuvira on the other hand is tall scary lady and she reveled in it as a child. Definitely held Opal's book above her head and made her jump to get them.

This has been on my mind for a while now because I can't choose from the sheer number of crackiest Lin ships I have in store lol. I'm probably going to get hate for this, but just for the drama I'm going to go with Linaar: Lin x Bataar Sr.

1)Dating headcanon: Bataar brings a candle, spicy noodles along with some sake to Lin's chambers when she's visiting Zaofu. He obviously wants to keep things on the down low. He is charmed by and attracted to Lin's mind and body and he can't help but just get some one-on-one time with her: even if he's doing it behind his wife's back in their own home. They also take day-long short trips to the more remote parts of the Earth kingdom for privacy to avoid arising any suspicion.

1)Positions/locations headcanon: How fun would it be to have them have sex on Suyin and Bataar's marital bed lmao. No, but maybe Lin's apartment, her chambers in Zaofu, or Bataar's parents' place in the Earth Kingdom. Bataar likes to watch her as he fucks her; his favorite position has always been missionary. Lin likes to ride his face while he's lying down on the bed.

So I've had this idea for a few weeks now. At first it was a bit of a lil joke but then i ended up putting too much thought into it. So here is that too much thought:

So Kya is living with Katara and working at her clinic but she's sorta feeling like she wants to branch out, but also struggling with the feeling of responsible to her mother.

Tenzin and Lin had dated for a while, so Kya knows Lin but not that well

Lin lives with Su and her family, but Su and Baatar travel often, so it's often just the kids and Lin in the house

I've aged everyone down, most notably the kids- with the oldest, Baatar being about 15 and the youngest, the twins being about 10.

Kuvira gets to be that jackass mailman Nazi sympathiser. (no kindness for kuvira in this au)

Kya takes a temporary job as a nanny/governess for the Beifong kids, who are quite well known in the area for being absolute menaces.

You're telling me that Lin wouldn't train her niece and nephews to respond to a whistle?

Lin of course is having difficulty bonding with the kids and doesn't exactly understand that children need to, y'know play and have fun.

Kya is very much a fun hippie nanny and the kids are almost immediately like 'yes. New aunt.'

“Sir—” you sighed, removing the stethoscope from his chest. You straightened the lapels of your white coat. “I’m your doctor.”

Carlos Sr. made an amused noise from his chair beside his son’s hospital bed. He gestured towards you.

“You don’t have a girlfriend,” Carlos Sr. told his son.

“Oh,” Carlos blinked his big, brown eyes. “I don't?”

Carlos was certain he had a girlfriend. They've been dating for over four years now. Their relationship was kept from the world as his girlfriend wanted to focus on her job without being bombarded by Carlos' millions of fans in her workplace and Carlos respected that, although he was not exactly the type who liked the idea of secret relationships. What did she do again? Carlos couldn't remember. The anesthesia was making everything whoozy for him.

“That's your wife, son.”
