there's a very underrated scene in COE where it shows rhiannon, gwen, and, alice fighting soldiers and trying to take back their kids (not exactly her kid, in gwen's case), and i just think it's one of the most devastating parallels in COE. they're all fighting, gwen's own child hasn't even formed a bump in her yet she's running for her and this little girl's life, both mica and steven were taken from their mother's arms. i don't know, i think it's the best portrayal of motherhood in the show, i liked that the scenes focused on the three of them.

i get that there's the running joke of "haha doctor who has no canon" but at a certain rate this gets ridiculous. I am not expecting two different seasons released 10-60 years apart from each other to be following all the exact same lore but still insane to me no one ever mentions what happened in s3/s4 of torchwood in the episodes of drwho airing AROUND THE SAME TIME AS TORCHWOOD.

some people forget that in CoE, sacrificing jack’s grandson is a direct parallel to the high-ups saying that their own children should have immunity - like they dont want it to affect them, and jack is forced to sacrifice his own grandchild (and lose his daughter in the process too), he doesn’t have the privilege to sit in a nice room and know it wont affect him, he doesnt
