I've been working on this for days smh. I love Wings of Fire, like seriously I own every book, hell I have a signed copy of one of the books! Anyways, so OmorixWoF AU, I do not have that much art of it yet because three moons the dragon designs have so much detail I wanna chop my hand of !
Tumblr media
Some things really had to change, like what to do about Omori and Mari’s death…
No, Omori isn’t an alter ego in this Au, he’s his own dragon. I seriously don't think the Dreamworld would exist in this AU, especially IF I decide Mari dies. Death is actually extremely common in Wings of Fire, with how violent the books can get. Especially in Legends:Darkstalker, holy shit that book is violent, but as a bloodthirsty reader that likes a good fight and death scene, I don't have a problem with that, some people might though. Also there is NO way Sunny can kill her in this AU with how dragon ages work in WoF, a dragon is considered an adult at age 7( human years) and the older the dragon, the larger it is. So IF Mari dies it would've happened when her and Hero were 3, making the rest 1, seriously, Sunny, Kel, Basil and Aubrey would be TINY in size comparison. And since dragons that are 1 would kinda be the same thing as a 5 yro child, Sunny pretty much can't kill her, she literally can't get shoved down the stairs and die, impossible especially with the technology in WoF. Last time I checked Sunny's the youngest, so I don't even think he'd be able to even fly yet, and the only way I can see Mari possibly dying involves her getting struck down mid flight so I'm really not sure...
Since Omori is his own dragon instead of being an alter ego, I had to change him up in some ways. Because I don’t think it’s possible for the dreamworld to exist, Sunny and Omori have a different dynamic. Since there’s both mind readers, Omori first encounters Sunny , telepathically for a good while. Sunny is pretty damn confused on what this voice in his head he’s hearing is and isn’t sure if he should trust him or not. Omori then has to start playing mind games to earn his trust ,which works until Sunny learns who he truly is and why he’s only using telepathy, basically Omori got sealed in a tomb to presumably rot away since he seemed nearly impossible to harm and is likely an evil animus, not very trustworthy at all. Omori still keeps trying to use him, likely to get him to set him free and ends up using animus magic to both harm and allow him to tap into his mind. Eventually at some point Sunny decided he’s had enough of his shit and tells his friends about the weird evil dragon that he hears in his head hoping any of them would know anything that could stop Omori from harming him, perhaps if any of them know an animus that could use their magic to enchant something to protect him from Omori. Unfortunately I haven’t decided what happens next, so cliffhanger?
Tumblr media
Anyways, naming time!
Nightwings: Dreamwalker(Sunny) Kindness(Mari) and Omen(Omori)
Rainwings: Charming( Hero) Konjac(Kel)
Skywing: Aella( Aubrey)
Leafwing: Balsam( Basil)
this AU is still a W.I.P ;/; but I’ll happily explain some stuff if there’s any questions .
I need to draw more dragons…my hand better not die …

A SEASON BY SEASON GUIDE TO MY PLOT PREDICTIONS FOR THE DRAGON PRINCE
Please know that these predictions come solely from a story craft perspective. If any of these happen to come true, I was not trying to “spoil” the show in any way. As a storyteller, I have simply analyzed the storylines at hand and made a logical progression of where they might go. So here we go.
BOOK 4-- EARTH
(Season 4 has been confirmed to be earth)
Plotlines Include:
- A time jump to summer, and Callum and Rayla’s birthdays, which we celebrate. Rayla makes Callum moonberry surprise!
- Ezran begins to grow into his role as king, where he maintains communication with Callum and Rayla through his connection with Zym.
- Callum and Rayla stay in Xadia, with the Dragon Queen, where Callum slowly learns more magic and unveils the secrets of the key.
- The world is still at war, as returning the dragon egg did not fix everything.
- Aaravos comes after Callum in Xadia, through a resurrected Viren.
- In a parallel to 3x9, Rayla has to save Callum from Viren in battle.
- In the battle, Viren gains possession of the key.
- Callum masters at least one more arcanum-- most likely moon.
-  Rayla discovers her parents are trapped in coins, and they are freed (potentially by Callum). She feels guilty, however, that she got her loved ones back and Callum could not.
- Callum realizes he and Rayla’s paths now divulge, as Rayla stays in Xadia to reunite with her family and he has a duty to find the key again. He feels a duty as he lost it, and now the world is in danger.
We end with Callum and Rayla separating, and Aaravos taking the key, as our cliffhanger.
BOOK 5- OCEAN
(Guessing season’s 6 and 7 are going to be star and dark, this left season 5 open for ocean)
- Callum returns to Katolis to explain his mission to Ezran.
- Knowing the growing dark forces, Ezran seeks to make alliances with the other kingdoms-- most specifically Duren.
- Ezran and Aanya form a friendship and bond both being child rulers.
- Rayla and her parents seek to gather the elves to help the human kingdoms.
- We meet Tidebound elves, hence the name of the season/ book.
- Zym begins to grow a bit into bit into maybe a “terrible toddler”, or even an angsty teenager.
- Callum has a solo mission/ adventure, which really allows him to grow into his full power and mature as a person even further.
- The Moonshadow, Sunfire, Skywing, Tidebound, and Earthblood elves unite and begin their journey to the human kingdoms.
- Callum encounters Viren in an intense magical final showdown, where Callum is gravely endangered or hurt and Rayla and the elves arrive at the last minute to help him, where Callum and Rayla reunite. In the process of the battle the key is destroyed.
We end with the elven armies walking into the kingdom of Katolis under the order of King Ezran, as symbolically two peoples’s previously divided come together to face a greater evil as Viren and Aaravos’s dark forces gather.
Before the battle, Callum is named the High Mage of the human kingdoms, and recognized as the first human to master all the arcanums. This includes a really cool amulet.
BOOK 6-- STAR
(The star season, to represent the rise of Aaravos)
- Conflict arises between the human kingdoms, as not all trust elves and agree with Ezran’s decision to fight alongside them
- Rayla starts training Callum in sword fighting and other battle tactics, to help him prepare for the battle ahead and wield skills on top of his magic.
- Rayla deals with discrimination from humans of the other kingdoms who may not like elves-- especially regarding her relationship with Callum
- Callum really starts to form deeper bonds with Rayla’s parents, as well as Runaan and Ethari.
- In a parallel to Rayla showing Callum her home of Xadia, Callum does the same for her with his home. They even reminisce about the place they first met.
- Ezran faces continued struggles as a king trying to unite his people, but ultimately all come together as Aaravos rises to power.
We end with the final battle looming, and the forces of Aaravos and Viren ready to take over the world. All together again, our characters stand strong to protect what they love. Rayla officially steps into her role as a Dragonguard.
BOOK 7-- DARK
(Obviously)
THE FINAL DEFEAT OF AARAVOS/ VIREN, AND THEIR DARK FORCES.
One or two major characters die in the battle.
We end with Ezran reigning as a great king, and Callum and Rayla together. With an epilogue or big time jumps, we might even get a wedding-- which symbolically unites both humans and elves forever. A much older Ezran looks a bit more like his dad on the throne, and Zym is grown to have a mate, the future of human and dragon kind looking bright.
So there’s my predictions for the plot line of The Dragon Prince! Obviously, the further ahead we go the less clear it becomes, and much will be filled in my new plot lines presented in later seasons.
There were even some things such as the return of Ellis and Ava, and Aaravos trying to tempt Callum into darkness/ forming a hesitant comradely, which I could not fit in here. There are also things like flashbacks of Viren backstory which will be scattered throughout.
Still, I hope you all enjoyed.
