The thing about Veilguard with the options for nonbinary pronouns and the addition of nonbinary characters to the world such as with Dreydan, I'm truly concerned they won't make it a conversation.

Like dragon age has always been very vocal about discussing gender and I think the conversations around Krem are some of the best the series has to offer.

And from what I've seen so far, I am worried that if you choose they/them pronouns you get addressed by they/them pronouns without it ever being a discussion that is had. Which feels so weird and hollow to a fantasy setting that has a lot of gender role narratives within it.

I understand I'm probably an outlier here with this. A lot of people just like to plug and play their fantasy self into the fantasy game and not have to think about things like queerphobia and what not. And like that was very refreshing in Baldur's Gate 3 where there is no established gender discussion really. But it'll feel very strange to not have that discussion at least somewhere in a series that has so much world building around gender and how it's percieved.

The urban legend of Orion Pax

It starts with a new guard on an average night. That was until the guy saw something crawling around on the shelves of the dimly lit archive. He tried to call out to it once. Although the only thing he receives is silent and a creepy pair of blue optics staring straight at his soul. Before whatever that was disappeared into the darkness like it was never there, to begin with.

Then there are more rumors being passed around about a cogless bot. They say that it was the spirit of an unfortunate a miner who got crushed after one of the tunnels collapsed on him. The small mech can’t reach the All Spark because he couldn’t see the path to it since his optics were lost in that accident. So he took a pair of optics from other mechs out of desperation but Primus could not allow a bot who committed such heinous crime to be back at the Well of All Spark. Which leads to him being forced to forever roam the land of the living.

Other believe that the cogless bot was an agent sent by Unicron or a mech who sold his spark to the Unmaker. They said that his mission was to find a perfect sacrifice. And few were lucky enough to pleas him may comeout alive. Also do not think about out running him because he could be everywhere.

There are blurry images taken in the middle of the night showing that uncanny pair of blue optics on the rooftop of opposite building sometimes even infront of windows. Or mech retelling tales of seeing something red and blue crawling around in the vents. Sometimes it could just be a voice asking them for direction but there is no bot insight.
