So Ash's real surname is Márquez!

So Delia's full name is Cordelia, Cordelia Redfern that is! Both her and Sebastian where in Team Rocket! Sebastian is a Scientist, and Delia was a Grunt (turned Comare as she caught Giovanni's eye and they eventually started dating.)

I don't know exactly how they met, but it must have been during a meeting while Delia is with Giovanni, and they noticed each other and well... there's obviously an instant attraction between them that they can't snuff away even though Seb knows that she's the Don's girl. You don't mess with Don's girl.

Eventually after a few weeks of dancing around each other, they finally just can't help themselves and start meeting in secret. Of course, when Delia gets pregnant, it's a huge and instant problem because it is most definitely not Giovanni's. So, after a lot of freaking out, Delia just decides that she is going to run away and leave Team Rocket for good, but of course, it isn't that simple when you've been in a committed relationship with the DON.

So Sebastian stupidly turns himself into the G-Men, knowing they'll be the only ones who can help them and they move Delia to Pallet Town because Sebastian's family is from there (of course, they have no idea that Giovanni's younger sister has already moved to Pallet Town and married into the Oak family) and give her the new surname Ketchum.

Seb only gets two or three months to enjoy being a father-to-be before he returns to TR to continue working, only this time he'll be undercover and gaining information for the G-Men while keeping Giovanni's confidence.

Unfortunately for them, Giovanni, angry at Seb's absence, sends him away to Johto to work on Project R. Seb rarely gets to see Delia after that but he tries his best!

Meanwhile in Pallet Town, Delia has made friends (unknowingly) with Giovanni's younger sister Amara (Gary's mother!) and of course, after Gary is born, she's very surprised and scared to see Giovanni in Pallet Town. He automatically can recognize that Delia is pregnant, and despite the both of them being very careful whilst in their relationship, Giovanni assumes (and is relieved) that Delia's unborn son is his.

After Ash's birth, Giovanni tells Delia of his plans to set up a fund for Ash later when he's older and wants to "make something of himself." AS Delia quite bluntly explains to Gio that she didn't want to raise a baby in Viridian, that she didn't want him to be involved in criminal activity. (And he oddly accepts that?????? Because he LOVES HER!!! His marriage to Ariana is only a marriage of convenience.) And of course, she can't refuse.

So, most of her money comes from Giovanni AND Sebastian, with a smaller part coming from the restaurant.

Unfortunately, while Giovanni is alive, Delia and Sebastian will never get to be together as the married couple they'd LIKE to be, but that doesn't mean he's completely absent!! He really DOES try his best to be there for Ash, he hates the fact that it's 100% of Delia doing the work. :(

Aaron and Cordy talk a lot through SnapChat while on their journeys. Cordy will usually send him pictures of where she is and selfies of her making dumb or funny faces, while Aaron will send her pictures of pokemon he’s caught or videos of his pokemon training. I put a + in front of the fankids that have one or both parents that are game only characters. My fankid universe is more anime centric but mingled with gameverse stuff. I left the + next to Hop and Victor even tho they were just in evolutions and are the whole reason I made most of these Galar ship changes, but it’s not the main anime so that doesn’t count.

Melli somehow leads to Harley. I know this man would never marry a woman but Harley comes from his loins somehow they are too fucking similar-

Akari is the ancestor to Lucas who eventually get’s thrown back in time. Thankfully they immediately pick up on the family vibes and just treat each other like brother and sister. Maybe she get’s with Wanda’s brother, Zeke, so that’s why Dawn and Lucas end up having similar appearances.

Cyllene x Prof. Laventon. Okay so this would make Cyrus, Leon and Hop related somehow but to add some degree to separation to that let’s just say Cyrus’s part of the family comes from a sibling of Cyllene. Also since Cyllene is someone who seems to care for others unlike Cyrus I want her to have the fun descendants. But Cyrus got the no eyebrows and bad at feelings part of that bloodline.

Iscan x Palina’s descendants lead to Marlon. It still works weather you acknowledge the weird tan or just pretend he’s that shade all the time. 

Tuli is the ancestor of Bianca, this was something I thought the moment I saw her in game but I am going to take something else from this video on ancestor speculation and say that she is also Ginter’s wife which would make Bianca and Volkner like cousins or something. (that video I linked is very good and it’s also where I got the Marlon idea from so go watch it 😊)
