Celebration Yorkshire Day August 1, 2021
The celebration of Yorkshire Day is central to the belief and custom of maintaining a locale 19s traditions and culture during a time of upheaval. A celebration started with just a reading, now encompasses anything to do with Yorkshire, from cooking and confectionery delights to history and military customs. A healthy percent of the population, namely most of them, celebrate this day in a way akin to many other celebrations; it started small and now has a minor culture behind the celebration of the Day.
History of Yorkshire Day
Yorkshire Day is a day to remember and celebrate, the largest county in the UK, Yorkshire. Originating as a military holiday, its roots stem from more than a few things, including the emancipation of slaves in 1834, and a few military customs and some protests about losing Yorkshire 19s cultural identity. The military custom involves light infantry originally as Minden Day, although later joined by five other regiments in this tradition.
The military permitted the regiments to wear a rose in their headdress; although the original Light Infantry use a white rose instead of the standard red rose. The emancipation anniversary is celebrated in the honor of William Wilberforce, whom successfully campaigned for the emancipation. The protests were regarding the identity of Yorkshire against the Local Government re-organization of 1974. Yet with such a long and diverse history of changes, Yorkshire has kept itself from changing, keeping it 19s old world appeal and aesthetic as the Day has become more and more known world-wide.
How to celebrate Yorkshire Day
In order to 18properly 19 follow tradition, one must read the Yorkshire Declaration of Integrity. This is to declare the boundaries of which the County, and City, of Yorkshire, exist and prosper. The entire declaration is aimed towards solidifying the ties to one 19s compatriots, to uphold tradition and not let any person or body change that. While in the City of York, the Declaration is made four times by the Yorkshire Ridings Society.
Spoken once within the actual City of York, and another in each of the three Ridings, or jurisdictions within Yorkshire. This is done by starting at the gatehouses within the City of York, and by moving along the ancient wall, they can use the old gatehouses to cross into the various jurisdictions, speak the Declaration and then move back within York to the next gatehouse. Finally, they would speak the Declaration within a gatehouse in York itself. This is actually done yearly by the Yorkshire Ridings Society, in observance with old tradition.

International Reggae Day celebrates this Jamaican music style, and brings it to those unfortunates in the world who have yet to experience it.
History of International Reggae Day
International Reggae Day is an annual event held in Kingston, Jamaica and is dedicated to celebrating a style of music that entered into the world in a sleepy little country in the Carribbean and exploded to touch every corner of the world with it 19s style. Originally born out of Ska and rocksteady style of musics in the 1960 19s, it quickly gained distinction with it 19s unpolished sound and dependence on rhythm. It took a few years as a grassroots movement before it began expanding.
Reggae became a powerful music with deep roots by the time Bob Marley joined the scene, and it 19s influence has never really stopped spreading. The style of reggae has really spread wide, with tons of different styles popping up, including a type of poetry called Dub Poetry, which is West Indian Poetry being synced up with amazing reggae beats to create a musical poetry style all its own.
International Reggae Day is celebrated in Kingston, with thousands of fans and musicians coming from all over the world to gather there to celebrate the amazing history of reggae history.

North American Inclusion Month (NAIM) was created by the Yachad/National Jewish Council for Disabilities. Now some five years old, the North American Inclusion Month was established as a way of recognising the need for more opportunities for people with disabilities, including in both employment and education. February 2nd, 2010 saw a U.S. House of Representatives resolution, which acknowledged the goals of NAIM.
NAIM is an opportunity for society to be more inclusive regarding people with disabilities. Regardless of an individual 19s disabilities the North American Inclusion Month aims to make them feel every bit a part of society as an able-bodied person. The month is not in place to create a better understanding of a disabled person 19s needs and aspirations for just four weeks. The North American Inclusion Month is used as a way of galvanising a more positive approach, concerning people with disabilities, for the whole year.
Making society more inclusive for people with disabilities can begin with simple individual actions during NAIM. Going out of one 19s way to interact more with people with disabilities is one example. Often people will not interact with people with disabilities because they are nervous about saying or doing the right thing. However, not feeling part of society is what will often hurt a disabled person most of all.
From children to adults, people with disabilities can feel part of things throughout North American Inclusion Month. Sport should also be inclusive, and this can be achieved by adapting aspects of that sport where necessary. Children at school, who are affected by hearing or sight problems, can be helped by aids, which will make them able to enjoy a lesson just as much as their classmates. For elderly people with disabilities a nostalgia night, which includes a sing-along, can help bring back happy memories.

Regardless of an individual 19s disabilities the North American Inclusion Month aims to make them feel every bit a part of society as an able-bodied person. The month is not in place to create a better understanding of a disabled person 19s needs and aspirations for just four weeks. The North American Inclusion Month is used as a way of galvanising a more positive approach, concerning people with disabilities, for the whole year.
Making society more inclusive for people with disabilities can begin with simple individual actions during NAIM. Going out of one 19s way to interact more with people with disabilities is one example. Often people will not interact with people with disabilities because they are nervous about saying or doing the right thing. However, not feeling part of society is what will often hurt a disabled person most of all.
From children to adults, people with disabilities can feel part of things throughout North American Inclusion Month. Sport should also be inclusive, and this can be achieved by adapting aspects of that sport where necessary. Children at school, who are affected by hearing or sight problems, can be helped by aids, which will make them able to enjoy a lesson just as much as their classmates. For elderly people with disabilities a nostalgia night, which includes a sing-along, can help bring back happy memories.

Celebration American Eagle Day June 20, 2021
The Bald Eagle, also known colloquially as the American Eagle, has long stood as a symbol of freedom and liberty in a country formed in its pursuit. This creature was chosen for the strength and beauty of its form and its longevity in the wild. They are strong protectors of their nests and are native to the country it represents. American Eagle Day celebrates this majestic bird and its place in its country 19s history, and how it came to be the symbol of what was once considered the greatest nation on Earth.
History of American Eagle Day
The use of the American Eagle as the bird to represent the country did have a tumultuous history. There were several seals established for the United States in 1776, but none of them were accepted by Congress. Eventually, the job of designing the seal was given to Charles Thomson, the then serving secretary of Congress, who took all the best elements of the presented designs and improved on them by adding this majestic bird to the seal.
While Benjamin Franklin was never actually recorded as lobbying for the Turkey to be the national bird, it is known that he described the Bald Eagle as being a 1Cbird of bad moral character 1D. The bird was included on the seal, and soon it became one of the most recognizable icons of the American culture. Unfortunately, this majestic bird has also been threatened with extinction, and American Eagle Day reminds us of the role it has served in national pride, the pursuit of freedom and liberty, and that it must be preserved as an honor to our country.
How to celebrate American Eagle Day
The best way to celebrate American Eagle Day is to pick out a piece of clothing with this amazing animal on it and show your national pride. Then get out there and raise awareness about its endangered status and volunteer to help preserve its place in nature. Celebration North American Inclusion Month February 2021
North American Inclusion Month (NAIM) was created by the Yachad/National Jewish Council for Disabilities. Now some five years old, the North American Inclusion Month was established as a way of recognising the need for more opportunities for people with disabilities, including in both employment and education. February 2nd, 2010 saw a U.S. House of Representatives resolution, which acknowledged the goals of NAIM.
