Jicky (Guerlain)
Léa de Lonval -- the wise heroine of Colette's 1920 novel Chéri -- had this to say about the primacy of style over propriety: "Naked, if need be… but squalid, never!" Being a celebrated courtesan, Léa knew quite a lot about being naked. And that she wore Guerlain's Jicky is a given-- for Jicky is her beloved Belle Époque in liquid form.
There is plenty that's naked about Jicky, but certainly nothing squalid. It is neither mad, bad, nor dangerous to know, despite the company it has kept. Colette elle-même; Sarah Bernhardt; Anita Ekberg and Brigitte Bardot; not one but two 007's (Sean Connery and Roger Moore). Jane Birkin wore Jicky before switching to L'Air de Rien, which amounts to a step down in the world for Jane. And Jacqueline Kennedy dabbed it behind her lovely ears, which may be construed as a step up for Jicky.
We cannot know if Alice Keppel -- Edward VII's discreet and congenial maîtresse déclarée -- ever tried Jicky. In Diana Souhami's biography Mrs. Keppel and Her Daughter, Sonia Keppel is quoted as saying that her mother exuded 'a certain elusive smell, like fresh green sap, that came from herself'. She did not say (as Virginia Woolf did of Katherine Mansfield) that her mother reeked 'like a civet cat that had taken to street walking'. If she had, Jicky would have undoubtedly been to blame.
Still, Jicky has more in common with Mrs. Keppel than a first glance might tell. Like "La Favorita", it's the perfect mistress, at once frankly suggestive and marvellously well-behaved. Assertive, heady, and rich, its comportment on skin suggests years of tutelage amidst the best society... and nights whiled away between the finest silk sheets. Finally, in its capacity to charm perfume-wearers of all genders, ages, and classes, Jicky employs the same "gift of happiness" attributed to Mrs. Keppel: "She resembled a Christmas tree laden with presents for everyone."
Jicky begins with a thousand acres of Provençal lavender concentrated into one crystalline drop. It stays there for exactly sixty seconds before transforming into the most remarkable olfactory hologram of a lover's body this side of-- well, the bed. Here is the intimate aroma of the one you adore. He or she is the person with whom you share your life, your heart, your secret inner self; you sleep together every night and reach for one another first thing every morning. With them, your secrets are safe as houses-- and before them, to paraphrase Millay, you are at liberty to "spread like a chart your little wicked ways".
The warm, animalic phase of Jicky's development is due largely to the generous amount of civet with which Aimé Guerlain anchored this composition of sparkling citrus, leather, and herbs. The result is a sinuous beast, delicate and decorous, who enters the room on tiny feet, lashing its tail. Close behind it comes its master -- a jovial, barrel-chested shaving-soap accord, rich with birch tar and vanilla -- who promptly pulls up a chair and offers you a piece of his mind. While he dominates the conversation (and a scintillating one it is, too), our civet sits silent and attentive, every so often yawning or giving its glossy fur a nonchalant lick. It never begs for attention, but it also never quits its master's side. Caught in the nexus between filthy and clean, you sense that you're the victim of a formidable tag team-- and you marvel at their effortless powers of persuasion.
Despite its embrace by the so-called "souls" of that age, Jicky did not debut during the fast-and-loose Edwardian era. It is solidly a product of Victoria's reign, a fact which turns the entire concept of Victorian prudery on its ear. The Queen herself, though straitlaced as any monarch must be, is said to have adored perfume-- particularly Houbigant and Creed, from whom she commissioned Royal Scottish Lavender in honor of her beloved Highlands. The only thing separating Royal Scottish Lavender from Jicky is the sensual frisson of civet, a distinction which also sums up the fundamental differences in character and taste between the duty-minded Queen and her sybaritic eldest son. In short: same genes, but considerably more sex.
If, while sporting Jicky, you likewise experience an uptick in "action", do not be surprised. By the same token, do not believe for an instant that by accepting said "action", your standards have been lowered by one jot. Wearing Jicky does not diminish one's dignity; nor does it deny one's essential pleasure-loving nature. It merely clothes the mammal with art.
Whatever else you choose to wear -- or not wear -- is entirely your own business.
Scent Elements: Lemon, mandarin, bergamot, lavender, rosewood, orris, jasmine, patchouli, rose, vetiver, leather, amber, civet, tonka bean, incense, benzoin

Perfume ask for you: Parfum and Essence.
Parfum: Tell me about the very first perfume you owned.
My very first perfume was Elizabeth Arden Green Tea. It was gifted to me when I was in middle school. It’s the same kind of citrusy-soapy fragrance that I mentioned in the previous ask though if I remember correctly it seriously lacked in longevity. I recently found out that it was actually created by Francis Kurkdjian, a famous perfumer best known for Jean Paul Gaultier’s Le Male and Maison Francis Kurkdjian with it’s Baccarat Rouge 540 so that’s pretty interesting.
Essence: Tell me the background story of one of the fragrances you know.
Apparently Creed made up all their royal connections that they use to market their ridiculously expensive fragrances.
The legend of the brand begins in 1760 when a pair of scented leather gloves was delivered to King George III by a new London tailoring company. Founded by James Henry Creed in the same year as the young King’s accession, the House of Creed has created fragrances for the discerning and the discriminating for over 260 years.
Queen Victoria - George III’s granddaughter - appointed Creed as an official supplier to the Royal Household. Then, in 1854, under the patronage of Napoleon III and his Empress, Eugénie, the stylish leader of European fashion, the House of Creed established another headquarters in Paris, France. Creed supplied most of the royalty of the time.
They also implied Tabarome was worn by Churchill and their Vetiver scent by JFK.
People have been trying to find some proof to support this for years and apparently there are no historic mentions of the perfumes and no vintage bottles of Creed. Which is weird seeing how there’s plenty of vintage perfume bottles from other brands, many people actually collect them. The earliest evidence of Creed comes from the late 60s and the 70s.

1
I celebrate myself, and sing myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.
I loafe and invite my soul,
I lean and loafe at my ease observing a spear of summer grass.
My tongue, every atom of my blood, form’d from this soil, this air,
Born here of parents born here from parents the same, and their parents the same,
I, now thirty-seven years old in perfect health begin,
Hoping to cease not till death.
Creeds and schools in abeyance,
Retiring back a while sufficed at what they are, but never forgotten,
I harbor for good or bad, I permit to speak at every hazard,
Nature without check with original energy.
2
Houses and rooms are full of perfumes, the shelves are crowded with perfumes,
I breathe the fragrance myself and know it and like it,
The distillation would intoxicate me also, but I shall not let it.
The atmosphere is not a perfume, it has no taste of the distillation, it is odorless,
It is for my mouth forever, I am in love with it,
I will go to the bank by the wood and become undisguised and naked,
I am mad for it to be in contact with me.
The smoke of my own breath,
Echoes, ripples, buzz’d whispers, love-root, silk-thread, crotch and vine,
My respiration and inspiration, the beating of my heart, the passing of blood and air through my lungs,
The sniff of green leaves and dry leaves, and of the shore and dark-color’d sea-rocks, and of hay in the barn,
The sound of the belch’d words of my voice loos’d to the eddies of the wind,
A few light kisses, a few embraces, a reaching around of arms,
The play of shine and shade on the trees as the supple boughs wag,
The delight alone or in the rush of the streets, or along the fields and hill-sides,
The feeling of health, the full-noon trill, the song of me rising from bed and meeting the sun.
Have you reckon’d a thousand acres much? have you reckon’d the earth much?
Have you practis’d so long to learn to read?
Have you felt so proud to get at the meaning of poems?
Stop this day and night with me and you shall possess the origin of all poems,
You shall possess the good of the earth and sun, (there are millions of suns left,)
You shall no longer take things at second or third hand, nor look through the eyes of the dead, nor feed on the spectres in books,
You shall not look through my eyes either, nor take things from me,
You shall listen to all sides and filter them from your self.
3
I have heard what the talkers were talking, the talk of the beginning and the end,
But I do not talk of the beginning or the end.
There was never any more inception than there is now,
Nor any more youth or age than there is now,
And will never be any more perfection than there is now,
Nor any more heaven or hell than there is now.
Urge and urge and urge,
Always the procreant urge of the world.
Out of the dimness opposite equals advance, always substance and increase, always sex,
Always a knit of identity, always distinction, always a breed of life.
To elaborate is no avail, learn’d and unlearn’d feel that it is so.
Sure as the most certain sure, plumb in the uprights, well entretied, braced in the beams,
Stout as a horse, affectionate, haughty, electrical,
I and this mystery here we stand.
Clear and sweet is my soul, and clear and sweet is all that is not my soul.
Lack one lacks both, and the unseen is proved by the seen,
Till that becomes unseen and receives proof in its turn.
Showing the best and dividing it from the worst age vexes age,
Knowing the perfect fitness and equanimity of things, while they discuss I am silent, and go bathe and admire myself.
Welcome is every organ and attribute of me, and of any man hearty and clean,
Not an inch nor a particle of an inch is vile, and none shall be less familiar than the rest.
I am satisfied—I see, dance, laugh, sing;
As the hugging and loving bed-fellow sleeps at my side through the night, and withdraws at the peep of the day with stealthy tread,
Leaving me baskets cover’d with white towels swelling the house with their plenty,
Shall I postpone my acceptation and realization and scream at my eyes,
That they turn from gazing after and down the road,
And forthwith cipher and show me to a cent,
Exactly the value of one and exactly the value of two, and which is ahead?
4
Trippers and askers surround me,
People I meet, the effect upon me of my early life or the ward and city I live in, or the nation,
The latest dates, discoveries, inventions, societies, authors old and new,
My dinner, dress, associates, looks, compliments, dues,
The real or fancied indifference of some man or woman I love,
The sickness of one of my folks or of myself, or ill-doing or loss or lack of money, or depressions or exaltations,
Battles, the horrors of fratricidal war, the fever of doubtful news, the fitful events;
These come to me days and nights and go from me again,
But they are not the Me myself.
Apart from the pulling and hauling stands what I am,
Stands amused, complacent, compassionating, idle, unitary,
Looks down, is erect, or bends an arm on an impalpable certain rest,
Looking with side-curved head curious what will come next,
Both in and out of the game and watching and wondering at it.
Backward I see in my own days where I sweated through fog with linguists and contenders,
I have no mockings or arguments, I witness and wait.
5
I believe in you my soul, the other I am must not abase itself to you,
And you must not be abased to the other.
Loafe with me on the grass, loose the stop from your throat,
Not words, not music or rhyme I want, not custom or lecture, not even the best,
Only the lull I like, the hum of your valvèd voice.
I mind how once we lay such a transparent summer morning,
How you settled your head athwart my hips and gently turn’d over upon me,
And parted the shirt from my bosom-bone, and plunged your tongue to my bare-stript heart,
And reach’d till you felt my beard, and reach’d till you held my feet.
Swiftly arose and spread around me the peace and knowledge that pass all the argument of the earth,
And I know that the hand of God is the promise of my own,
And I know that the spirit of God is the brother of my own,
And that all the men ever born are also my brothers, and the women my sisters and lovers,
And that a kelson of the creation is love,
And limitless are leaves stiff or drooping in the fields,
And brown ants in the little wells beneath them,
And mossy scabs of the worm fence, heap’d stones, elder, mullein and poke-weed.
6
A child said What is the grass? fetching it to me with full hands;
How could I answer the child? I do not know what it is any more than he.
I guess it must be the flag of my disposition, out of hopeful green stuff woven.
Or I guess it is the handkerchief of the Lord,
A scented gift and remembrancer designedly dropt,
Bearing the owner’s name someway in the corners, that we may see and remark, and say Whose?
Or I guess the grass is itself a child, the produced babe of the vegetation.
Or I guess it is a uniform hieroglyphic,
And it means, Sprouting alike in broad zones and narrow zones,
Growing among black folks as among white,
Kanuck, Tuckahoe, Congressman, Cuff, I give them the same, I receive them the same.
And now it seems to me the beautiful uncut hair of graves.
Tenderly will I use you curling grass,
It may be you transpire from the breasts of young men,
It may be if I had known them I would have loved them,
It may be you are from old people, or from offspring taken soon out of their mothers’ laps,
And here you are the mothers’ laps.
This grass is very dark to be from the white heads of old mothers,
Darker than the colorless beards of old men,
Dark to come from under the faint red roofs of mouths.
O I perceive after all so many uttering tongues,
And I perceive they do not come from the roofs of mouths for nothing.
I wish I could translate the hints about the dead young men and women,
And the hints about old men and mothers, and the offspring taken soon out of their laps.
What do you think has become of the young and old men?
And what do you think has become of the women and children?
They are alive and well somewhere,
The smallest sprout shows there is really no death,
And if ever there was it led forward life, and does not wait at the end to arrest it,
And ceas’d the moment life appear’d.
All goes onward and outward, nothing collapses,
And to die is different from what any one supposed, and luckier.
7
Has any one supposed it lucky to be born?
I hasten to inform him or her it is just as lucky to die, and I know it.
I pass death with the dying and birth with the new-wash’d babe, and am not contain’d between my hat and boots,
And peruse manifold objects, no two alike and every one good,
The earth good and the stars good, and their adjuncts all good.
I am not an earth nor an adjunct of an earth,
I am the mate and companion of people, all just as immortal and fathomless as myself,
(They do not know how immortal, but I know.)
Every kind for itself and its own, for me mine male and female,
For me those that have been boys and that love women,
For me the man that is proud and feels how it stings to be slighted,
For me the sweet-heart and the old maid, for me mothers and the mothers of mothers,
For me lips that have smiled, eyes that have shed tears,
For me children and the begetters of children.
Undrape! you are not guilty to me, nor stale nor discarded,
I see through the broadcloth and gingham whether or no,
And am around, tenacious, acquisitive, tireless, and cannot be shaken away.
8
The little one sleeps in its cradle,
I lift the gauze and look a long time, and silently brush away flies with my hand.
The youngster and the red-faced girl turn aside up the bushy hill,
I peeringly view them from the top.
The suicide sprawls on the bloody floor of the bedroom,
I witness the corpse with its dabbled hair, I note where the pistol has fallen.
The blab of the pave, tires of carts, sluff of boot-soles, talk of the promenaders,
The heavy omnibus, the driver with his interrogating thumb, the clank of the shod horses on the granite floor,
The snow-sleighs, clinking, shouted jokes, pelts of snow-balls,
The hurrahs for popular favorites, the fury of rous’d mobs,
The flap of the curtain’d litter, a sick man inside borne to the hospital,
The meeting of enemies, the sudden oath, the blows and fall,
The excited crowd, the policeman with his star quickly working his passage to the centre of the crowd,
The impassive stones that receive and return so many echoes,
What groans of over-fed or half-starv’d who fall sunstruck or in fits,
What exclamations of women taken suddenly who hurry home and give birth to babes,
What living and buried speech is always vibrating here, what howls restrain’d by decorum,
Arrests of criminals, slights, adulterous offers made, acceptances, rejections with convex lips,
I mind them or the show or resonance of them—I come and I depart.
9
The big doors of the country barn stand open and ready,
The dried grass of the harvest-time loads the slow-drawn wagon,
The clear light plays on the brown gray and green intertinged,
The armfuls are pack’d to the sagging mow.
I am there, I help, I came stretch’d atop of the load,
I felt its soft jolts, one leg reclined on the other,
I jump from the cross-beams and seize the clover and timothy,
And roll head over heels and tangle my hair full of wisps.
10
Alone far in the wilds and mountains I hunt,
Wandering amazed at my own lightness and glee,
In the late afternoon choosing a safe spot to pass the night,
Kindling a fire and broiling the fresh-kill’d game,
Falling asleep on the gather’d leaves with my dog and gun by my side.
The Yankee clipper is under her sky-sails, she cuts the sparkle and scud,
My eyes settle the land, I bend at her prow or shout joyously from the deck.
The boatmen and clam-diggers arose early and stopt for me,
I tuck’d my trowser-ends in my boots and went and had a good time;
You should have been with us that day round the chowder-kettle.
I saw the marriage of the trapper in the open air in the far west, the bride was a red girl,
Her father and his friends sat near cross-legged and dumbly smoking, they had moccasins to their feet and large thick blankets hanging from their shoulders,
On a bank lounged the trapper, he was drest mostly in skins, his luxuriant beard and curls protected his neck, he held his bride by the hand,
She had long eyelashes, her head was bare, her coarse straight locks descended upon her voluptuous limbs and reach’d to her feet.
The runaway slave came to my house and stopt outside,
I heard his motions crackling the twigs of the woodpile,
Through the swung half-door of the kitchen I saw him limpsy and weak,
And went where he sat on a log and led him in and assured him,
And brought water and fill’d a tub for his sweated body and bruis’d feet,
And gave him a room that enter’d from my own, and gave him some coarse clean clothes,
And remember perfectly well his revolving eyes and his awkwardness,
And remember putting plasters on the galls of his neck and ankles;
He staid with me a week before he was recuperated and pass’d north,
I had him sit next me at table, my fire-lock lean’d in the corner.
11
Twenty-eight young men bathe by the shore,
Twenty-eight young men and all so friendly;
Twenty-eight years of womanly life and all so lonesome.
She owns the fine house by the rise of the bank,
She hides handsome and richly drest aft the blinds of the window.
Which of the young men does she like the best?
Ah the homeliest of them is beautiful to her.
Where are you off to, lady? for I see you,
You splash in the water there, yet stay stock still in your room.
Dancing and laughing along the beach came the twenty-ninth bather,
The rest did not see her, but she saw them and loved them.
The beards of the young men glisten’d with wet, it ran from their long hair,
Little streams pass’d all over their bodies.
An unseen hand also pass’d over their bodies,
It descended tremblingly from their temples and ribs.
The young men float on their backs, their white bellies bulge to the sun, they do not ask who seizes fast to them,
They do not know who puffs and declines with pendant and bending arch,
They do not think whom they souse with spray.
12
The butcher-boy puts off his killing-clothes, or sharpens his knife at the stall in the market,
I loiter enjoying his repartee and his shuffle and break-down.
Blacksmiths with grimed and hairy chests environ the anvil,
Each has his main-sledge, they are all out, there is a great heat in the fire.
From the cinder-strew’d threshold I follow their movements,
The lithe sheer of their waists plays even with their massive arms,
Overhand the hammers swing, overhand so slow, overhand so sure,
They do not hasten, each man hits in his place.
13
The negro holds firmly the reins of his four horses, the block swags underneath on its tied-over chain,
The negro that drives the long dray of the stone-yard, steady and tall he stands pois’d on one leg on the string-piece,
His blue shirt exposes his ample neck and breast and loosens over his hip-band,
His glance is calm and commanding, he tosses the slouch of his hat away from his forehead,
The sun falls on his crispy hair and mustache, falls on the black of his polish’d and perfect limbs.
I behold the picturesque giant and love him, and I do not stop there,
I go with the team also.
In me the caresser of life wherever moving, backward as well as forward sluing,
To niches aside and junior bending, not a person or object missing,
Absorbing all to myself and for this song.
Oxen that rattle the yoke and chain or halt in the leafy shade, what is that you express in your eyes?
It seems to me more than all the print I have read in my life.
My tread scares the wood-drake and wood-duck on my distant and day-long ramble,
They rise together, they slowly circle around.
I believe in those wing’d purposes,
And acknowledge red, yellow, white, playing within me,
And consider green and violet and the tufted crown intentional,
And do not call the tortoise unworthy because she is not something else,
And the jay in the woods never studied the gamut, yet trills pretty well to me,
And the look of the bay mare shames silliness out of me.
14
The wild gander leads his flock through the cool night,
Ya-honk he says, and sounds it down to me like an invitation,
The pert may suppose it meaningless, but I listening close,
Find its purpose and place up there toward the wintry sky.
The sharp-hoof’d moose of the north, the cat on the house-sill, the chickadee, the prairie-dog,
The litter of the grunting sow as they tug at her teats,
The brood of the turkey-hen and she with her half-spread wings,
I see in them and myself the same old law.
The press of my foot to the earth springs a hundred affections,
They scorn the best I can do to relate them.
I am enamour’d of growing out-doors,
Of men that live among cattle or taste of the ocean or woods,
Of the builders and steerers of ships and the wielders of axes and mauls, and the drivers of horses,
I can eat and sleep with them week in and week out.
What is commonest, cheapest, nearest, easiest, is Me,
Me going in for my chances, spending for vast returns,
Adorning myself to bestow myself on the first that will take me,
Not asking the sky to come down to my good will,
Scattering it freely forever.
15
The pure contralto sings in the organ loft,
The carpenter dresses his plank, the tongue of his foreplane whistles its wild ascending lisp,
The married and unmarried children ride home to their Thanksgiving dinner,
The pilot seizes the king-pin, he heaves down with a strong arm,
The mate stands braced in the whale-boat, lance and harpoon are ready,
The duck-shooter walks by silent and cautious stretches,
The deacons are ordain’d with cross’d hands at the altar,
The spinning-girl retreats and advances to the hum of the big wheel,
The farmer stops by the bars as he walks on a First-day loafe and looks at the oats and rye,
The lunatic is carried at last to the asylum a confirm’d case,
(He will never sleep any more as he did in the cot in his mother’s bed-room;)
The jour printer with gray head and gaunt jaws works at his case,
He turns his quid of tobacco while his eyes blurr with the manuscript;
The malform’d limbs are tied to the surgeon’s table,
What is removed drops horribly in a pail;
The quadroon girl is sold at the auction-stand, the drunkard nods by the bar-room stove,
The machinist rolls up his sleeves, the policeman travels his beat, the gate-keeper marks who pass,
The young fellow drives the express-wagon, (I love him, though I do not know him;)
The half-breed straps on his light boots to compete in the race,
The western turkey-shooting draws old and young, some lean on their rifles, some sit on logs,
Out from the crowd steps the marksman, takes his position, levels his piece;
The groups of newly-come immigrants cover the wharf or levee,
As the woolly-pates hoe in the sugar-field, the overseer views them from his saddle,
The bugle calls in the ball-room, the gentlemen run for their partners, the dancers bow to each other,
The youth lies awake in the cedar-roof’d garret and harks to the musical rain,
The Wolverine sets traps on the creek that helps fill the Huron,
The squaw wrapt in her yellow-hemm’d cloth is offering moccasins and bead-bags for sale,
The connoisseur peers along the exhibition-gallery with half-shut eyes bent sideways,
As the deck-hands make fast the steamboat the plank is thrown for the shore-going passengers,
The young sister holds out the skein while the elder sister winds it off in a ball, and stops now and then for the knots,
The one-year wife is recovering and happy having a week ago borne her first child,
The clean-hair’d Yankee girl works with her sewing-machine or in the factory or mill,
The paving-man leans on his two-handed rammer, the reporter’s lead flies swiftly over the note-book, the sign-painter is lettering with blue and gold,
The canal boy trots on the tow-path, the book-keeper counts at his desk, the shoemaker waxes his thread,
The conductor beats time for the band and all the performers follow him,
The child is baptized, the convert is making his first professions,
The regatta is spread on the bay, the race is begun, (how the white sails sparkle!)
The drover watching his drove sings out to them that would stray,
The pedler sweats with his pack on his back, (the purchaser higgling about the odd cent;)
The bride unrumples her white dress, the minute-hand of the clock moves slowly,
The opium-eater reclines with rigid head and just-open’d lips,
The prostitute draggles her shawl, her bonnet bobs on her tipsy and pimpled neck,
The crowd laugh at her blackguard oaths, the men jeer and wink to each other,
(Miserable! I do not laugh at your oaths nor jeer you;)
The President holding a cabinet council is surrounded by the great Secretaries,
On the piazza walk three matrons stately and friendly with twined arms,
The crew of the fish-smack pack repeated layers of halibut in the hold,
The Missourian crosses the plains toting his wares and his cattle,
As the fare-collector goes through the train he gives notice by the jingling of loose change,
The floor-men are laying the floor, the tinners are tinning the roof, the masons are calling for mortar,
In single file each shouldering his hod pass onward the laborers;
Seasons pursuing each other the indescribable crowd is gather’d, it is the fourth of Seventh-month, (what salutes of cannon and small arms!)
Seasons pursuing each other the plougher ploughs, the mower mows, and the winter-grain falls in the ground;
Off on the lakes the pike-fisher watches and waits by the hole in the frozen surface,
The stumps stand thick round the clearing, the squatter strikes deep with his axe,
Flatboatmen make fast towards dusk near the cotton-wood or pecan-trees,
Coon-seekers go through the regions of the Red river or through those drain’d by the Tennessee, or through those of the Arkansas,
Torches shine in the dark that hangs on the Chattahooche or Altamahaw,
Patriarchs sit at supper with sons and grandsons and great-grandsons around them,
In walls of adobie, in canvas tents, rest hunters and trappers after their day’s sport,
The city sleeps and the country sleeps,
The living sleep for their time, the dead sleep for their time,
The old husband sleeps by his wife and the young husband sleeps by his wife;
And these tend inward to me, and I tend outward to them,
And such as it is to be of these more or less I am,
And of these one and all I weave the song of myself.
16
I am of old and young, of the foolish as much as the wise,
Regardless of others, ever regardful of others,
Maternal as well as paternal, a child as well as a man,
Stuff’d with the stuff that is coarse and stuff’d with the stuff that is fine,
One of the Nation of many nations, the smallest the same and the largest the same,
A Southerner soon as a Northerner, a planter nonchalant and hospitable down by the Oconee I live,
A Yankee bound my own way ready for trade, my joints the limberest joints on earth and the sternest joints on earth,
A Kentuckian walking the vale of the Elkhorn in my deer-skin leggings, a Louisianian or Georgian,
A boatman over lakes or bays or along coasts, a Hoosier, Badger, Buckeye;
At home on Kanadian snow-shoes or up in the bush, or with fishermen off Newfoundland,
At home in the fleet of ice-boats, sailing with the rest and tacking,
At home on the hills of Vermont or in the woods of Maine, or the Texan ranch,
Comrade of Californians, comrade of free North-Westerners, (loving their big proportions,)
Comrade of raftsmen and coalmen, comrade of all who shake hands and welcome to drink and meat,
A learner with the simplest, a teacher of the thoughtfullest,
A novice beginning yet experient of myriads of seasons,
Of every hue and caste am I, of every rank and religion,
A farmer, mechanic, artist, gentleman, sailor, quaker,
Prisoner, fancy-man, rowdy, lawyer, physician, priest.
I resist any thing better than my own diversity,
Breathe the air but leave plenty after me,
And am not stuck up, and am in my place.
(The moth and the fish-eggs are in their place,
The bright suns I see and the dark suns I cannot see are in their place,
The palpable is in its place and the impalpable is in its place.)
17
These are really the thoughts of all men in all ages and lands, they are not original with me,
If they are not yours as much as mine they are nothing, or next to nothing,
If they are not the riddle and the untying of the riddle they are nothing,
If they are not just as close as they are distant they are nothing.
This is the grass that grows wherever the land is and the water is,
This the common air that bathes the globe.
18
With music strong I come, with my cornets and my drums,
I play not marches for accepted victors only, I play marches for conquer’d and slain persons.
Have you heard that it was good to gain the day?
I also say it is good to fall, battles are lost in the same spirit in which they are won.
I beat and pound for the dead,
I blow through my embouchures my loudest and gayest for them.
Vivas to those who have fail’d!
And to those whose war-vessels sank in the sea!
And to those themselves who sank in the sea!
And to all generals that lost engagements, and all overcome heroes!
And the numberless unknown heroes equal to the greatest heroes known!
19
This is the meal equally set, this the meat for natural hunger,
It is for the wicked just the same as the righteous, I make appointments with all,
I will not have a single person slighted or left away,
The kept-woman, sponger, thief, are hereby invited,
The heavy-lipp’d slave is invited, the venerealee is invited;
There shall be no difference between them and the rest.
This is the press of a bashful hand, this the float and odor of hair,
This the touch of my lips to yours, this the murmur of yearning,
This the far-off depth and height reflecting my own face,
This the thoughtful merge of myself, and the outlet again.
Do you guess I have some intricate purpose?
Well I have, for the Fourth-month showers have, and the mica on the side of a rock has.
Do you take it I would astonish?
Does the daylight astonish? does the early redstart twittering through the woods?
Do I astonish more than they?
This hour I tell things in confidence,
I might not tell everybody, but I will tell you.
20
Who goes there? hankering, gross, mystical, nude;
How is it I extract strength from the beef I eat?
What is a man anyhow? what am I? what are you?
All I mark as my own you shall offset it with your own,
Else it were time lost listening to me.
I do not snivel that snivel the world over,
That months are vacuums and the ground but wallow and filth.
Whimpering and truckling fold with powders for invalids, conformity goes to the fourth-remov’d,
I wear my hat as I please indoors or out.
Why should I pray? why should I venerate and be ceremonious?
Having pried through the strata, analyzed to a hair, counsel’d with doctors and calculated close,
I find no sweeter fat than sticks to my own bones.
In all people I see myself, none more and not one a barley-corn less,
And the good or bad I say of myself I say of them.
I know I am solid and sound,
To me the converging objects of the universe perpetually flow,
All are written to me, and I must get what the writing means.
I know I am deathless,
I know this orbit of mine cannot be swept by a carpenter’s compass,
I know I shall not pass like a child’s carlacue cut with a burnt stick at night.
I know I am august,
I do not trouble my spirit to vindicate itself or be understood,
I see that the elementary laws never apologize,
(I reckon I behave no prouder than the level I plant my house by, after all.)
I exist as I am, that is enough,
If no other in the world be aware I sit content,
And if each and all be aware I sit content.
One world is aware and by far the largest to me, and that is myself,
And whether I come to my own to-day or in ten thousand or ten million years,
I can cheerfully take it now, or with equal cheerfulness I can wait.
My foothold is tenon’d and mortis’d in granite,
I laugh at what you call dissolution,
And I know the amplitude of time.
21
I am the poet of the Body and I am the poet of the Soul,
The pleasures of heaven are with me and the pains of hell are with me,
The first I graft and increase upon myself, the latter I translate into a new tongue.
I am the poet of the woman the same as the man,
And I say it is as great to be a woman as to be a man,
And I say there is nothing greater than the mother of men.
I chant the chant of dilation or pride,
We have had ducking and deprecating about enough,
I show that size is only development.
Have you outstript the rest? are you the President?
It is a trifle, they will more than arrive there every one, and still pass on.
I am he that walks with the tender and growing night,
I call to the earth and sea half-held by the night.
Press close bare-bosom’d night—press close magnetic nourishing night!
Night of south winds—night of the large few stars!
Still nodding night—mad naked summer night.
Smile O voluptuous cool-breath’d earth!
Earth of the slumbering and liquid trees!
Earth of departed sunset—earth of the mountains misty-topt!
Earth of the vitreous pour of the full moon just tinged with blue!
Earth of shine and dark mottling the tide of the river!
Earth of the limpid gray of clouds brighter and clearer for my sake!
Far-swooping elbow’d earth—rich apple-blossom’d earth!
Smile, for your lover comes.
Prodigal, you have given me love—therefore I to you give love!
O unspeakable passionate love.
22
You sea! I resign myself to you also—I guess what you mean,
I behold from the beach your crooked inviting fingers,
I believe you refuse to go back without feeling of me,
We must have a turn together, I undress, hurry me out of sight of the land,
Cushion me soft, rock me in billowy drowse,
Dash me with amorous wet, I can repay you.
Sea of stretch’d ground-swells,
Sea breathing broad and convulsive breaths,

Tumblr media
Creed Silver Perfume History:
Creed Silver Perfume Before we dive into the specifics of Silver Mountain Water Millesime, it’s important to know a little bit about the history of Creed perfumes. The House of Creed was founded in London in 1760 and has been creating fragrances for over 250 years. The brand has a rich history of creating bespoke fragrances for royalty and other high-profile clients. Some of the most famous wearers of Creed perfumes include Queen Victoria, Sir Winston Churchill, and Grace Kelly.
Creed Silver Perfume Inspiration
Creed Silver Perfume Mountain Water Millesime was inspired by the crisp, pure air of the Swiss Alps. The fragrance is meant to evoke the feeling of standing at the top of a mountain, surrounded by snow and ice. The fragrance was created by Olivier Creed, the sixth generation of the Creed family to be involved in the business. It was first introduced in 1995 and has since become one of the brand’s most popular fragrances.
The Notes of Silver Mountain Water Millesime:
Silver Mountain Water Millesime is a complex fragrance that combines a variety of notes to create a unique scent. The top notes of the fragrance include bergamot, mandarin, and neroli, which give it a fresh, citrusy scent. Cons:
Expensive: Creed perfumes are known for being expensive, and Silver Mountain Water Millesime is no exception. It may not be a budget-friendly option for some people.
Not for everyone: While the scent of Silver Mountain Water Millesime is unique and sophisticated, it may not appeal to everyone’s taste. It’s always best to try a sample before committing to a full bottle.
Moderate sillage: While the longevity of this fragrance is impressive, the sillage is only moderate to strong, which means that it may not leave as strong a scent trail as some other perfumes.
Availability: Creed perfumes are not widely available, and it may be difficult to find a store that carries Silver Mountain Water Millesime. Online ordering is always an option, but it may be difficult to know if you like the scent without first smelling it in person.

Song of Myself (1892 version)
Walt Whitman
I am satisfied—I see, dance, laugh, sing;
4
Trippers and askers surround me,
People I meet, the effect upon me of my early life or the ward and city I live in, or the nation,
The latest dates, discoveries, inventions, societies, authors old and new,
My dinner, dress, associates, looks, compliments, dues,
The real or fancied indifference of some man or woman I love,
The sickness of one of my folks or of myself, or ill-doing or loss or lack of money, or depressions or exaltations,
Battles, the horrors of fratricidal war, the fever of doubtful news, the fitful events;

He’s channeling his energy productively.
Jaune walked down the halls of Beacon backed to his dorm, it had been a long day so far, not a hard day though, just one of those days that kept going and seemed like they wouldn’t end. Making it back to his room would at least let him spend the rest of day how’d like.
The sounds of laughter followed a group of older girls walked pasted him. It was outside of class time so the students could wear whatever they wanted. They wore clothes that were made to go clubbing.
Jaune’s eyes had a life of their own as they stared at the girls walking past, you’d think having seven sisters would make him more respectful wouldn’t you? But, having a lesbian older sister, and a couple others that were bi, all they did was teach him how to peak without getting caught.
That said he’d doubt his friends would call him out for staring, considering some of the girls here had assets that would give Yang pause.
They didn’t notice him pausing and walked by, a fragrant fruity perfume left behind. Jaune couldn’t help but look behind him, watching those girls go, a sway in their step that cause something in Jaune to rise up.
“Dammit,” Jaune cursed as his pants tightened up.
Jaune look around before he adjusted his pants, so that his zipper wouldn’t fly off by accident again, and tucking his erection down his pant leg so that it’d be less noticeable.
Jaune felt frustration well up in him, this had become a reoccurring problem since he started Beacon. The girls here were just too damn hot! It made walking anywhere a damn hassle and a embarrassment, and he had no way to release any of his damn tension in his dorm, Nora had broken the locks to the bathroom and the door; That had probably been the closest he had ever come to killing somebody.
Letting out an other sigh he resigned himself to shuffling back to the dorm as the blood went flowing elsewhere. He should just thank his lucky stars that he’d never popped a boner anywhere near Ruby, Yang would have found out somehow, probably Nora, and then killed him.
Right as he got close to the dorms, Jaune’s blood-flow was back to normal, but he still felt tense and incredibly worked up.
The sound of weights being lifted, treadmills running, and other exercise equipment sounded from nearby.
The gym was only a short walk away from the dorms. Jaune paused for a moment, Nora and Yang always seemed to go to the gym when they go worked up, maybe he should try it, it’s not like he didn’t go often anyway, so what would it hurt to work out so stress?
---------
Jaune stared at the scroll in his hands, ‘10:03′ where did the time go? He went in at ‘4:26′, went to the weight rack, and then everything seemed to go into a blur, and then the next thing he remembered was a upperclassman telling him the gym was closing in soon.
“Guess, I had more stress to work out than I thought I did.” Jaune said to himself walking to the gym showers, suddenly starting to feel exhausted and wanting to jump into bed at the closest opportunity.
-----------
The next morning was agonizing, his arms felt like they were made of pure, while on fire and being pulled apart! Maybe he went too hard last night.
He was also feeling cavernously hungry. No wonder Nora has an appetite like a black-hole.
------
Jaune’s problem came back in full force during lunch when Yang leaned too far back and the top couple buttons of her shirt decided they wanted a life in the air force.
Leaving Jaune with a delicious view of her cleavage.
Yang looked at her shirt, “Shoot, I actually liked this one.” She then resumed eating.
A hand caressing his leg, brought him out of his vision. “Are you alright, Jaune?” Pyrrha’s warm, gentle voice whispered into his ear
A mildly blush went up his face. “Yeah, just, uh, taking in the view.”
“Oh, ok then, but if your not feeling well, I can take you back to the room.”
“I’m good.” Jaune said a little too fast, as his mind started to fill in the blanks of what his monkey brain wanted to do to Pyrrha.
Pyrrha nodded.
Jaune felt thankful that Yang or Nora hadn’t found a chance to tease him about being alone with Pyrrha.
Lunch came and went, and Jaune made sure he was the last to get up, so that his problem wouldn’t be seen. He couldn’t exactly fiddle with himself under the table without drawing attention. So with all the swiftness he had, he tucked himself into his pant-leg while getting up.
In hindsight, maybe walking behind his developed female friends, and especially Blake, was a bad idea. His other head disagreed with him.
The rest of the day went by in a blur, combat class was a mess, but mostly cause he can’t being drawn to his friend outfits, they showed so much leg.
He went back to the gym again after class, he went to the treadmill and leg exercise machine. The upperclassman had to tell him to leave again.
-------
The rest of the week seemed to follow a similar pattern for Jaune, he’d wake up sore, but a little less so each day, go to class, end up aroused, then pent up, then go to the gym when he had the free time, and only when he had free time, going into those workout trances made him lose anytime for studying, hanging out, or training.
Training with Pyrrha was probably the hardest part of his week, literally and metaphorical, because while he loved Pyrrha like a sister, his body constantly reminded him that they were not siblings! It always made him feel disgusted when ever he looked at Pyrrha that way. No way Pyrrha ever looked at him that way.
After training with Pyrrha though, he still had two hours before the gym closed, and he was pent up again.
The upperclassman had told him to get an alarm or something, cause he wouldn’t always be there to tell him to leave.
-------------
Hanging out with team RWBY was always a... Experience, they were fun, don’t get him wrong, but it was like chaos in a bottle. The bottle was also cracked, and there was no cork either.
Today he and the rest of his team came over to hangout, and Ruby insisted they play twister.
Jaune was forming a bridge with his arms bending backwards to stay on there spot, while Ruby was draped across him with one leg over his shoulder and the other over his arm, with her front laying across his stomach, and her arms going in between and around his legs. While Nora lay under him her chest pressing into his back. It was also a really small mat.
Everybody else had dropped out, or refused to play, while Blake controlled the game, and Yang video taped everything.
Then Nora sneezed into his neck. That was the straw that broke the camels back. Sneeze both tickled his neck and scared the life out of Jaune, as he somehow managed to jump a foot into the air from his position, carrying Ruby with him. They landed on Nora with a thud.
Jaune’s position with Nora’s chest on his back and Ruby’s legs on his chest, really wasn’t going to help with his tension, as his lower-body decided to achieve liftoff.
That said he had managed to get a grip on himself lately,. So Jaune calmly got off Nora, and picked up Ruby, putting her next to Nora. All while hiding his full mast, then went to the gym again.
“You think he’s alright?” Ruby asked innocently.
“Probably just rubbing one out.” Nora said full of confidence. “These sweater puppy's of mine are of a quality most women can only dream of, yet here I sit, my majesty a reality, I don’t blame Jaune at all.”
------------
Jaune was watching with wrapt attention as Ms. Goodwitch strode across the arena pointing out several flaws in recorded fights she had on holographic videos. Tapping them with her wand to enhance the smaller images at time.
RIIIP
Her blouse broke, showing off globes of creamy white flesh barely being contained by a purple bra.
Ms. Goodwitch paused, a light blush on her face. “Well, Students this should teach us to be prepared for anything.”
Jaune then got up, walking out the door.
“Mr. Arc, where do you think your going?” His teacher asked severely, as several laughs broke out of the room, many people pointing at him.
“To the gym. I don’t think I’m going to be able to focus much today.” “Very well, any others who wished to join him?”
The gym was very packed that day.
------
Jaune enjoyed hanging out with Pyrrha, she was probably the best friend he ever had. He just wished she would stop having to bend over so often in front of him, or walking in front of him when she did that he couldn’t help but focus on her swaying hips.
Jaune sighed as he felt a rise tower start to erect. “I’m going to the gym be back later.”
Pyrrha merely looked bewildered. She though she had him for sure this time!
----
The transfer students were interesting people, and he couldn’t take his eyes off of them. They came from all walks of life, all paths, all creeds and kingdoms. From the strictly dressed military like Atlas Academy, to the survival of the fittest types and loosely dressed Shade Academy, or the storied and traditional style of Mistral. They were all interesting, diverse, strong and incredible sexy.
Ever since he ran into that black haired girl and her green haired partner, he somehow kept managing to find them in the most compromising or revealing positions possible.
So, Jaune started hitting the gym harder than ever.
--------------
1 Year later....
----
With a slight shaking arms Jaune pushed the loaded bar back up, exhaling. Then he took a slow, deep inhale as he lowered it down to his chest, then exhaled rising it up again. Inhale, exhale, till he finished his rep.
He rose up from the bench with a grate moan, feeling the warm soreness across his body. It hurt, but in a good way. In a way he couldn’t have appreciated a year ago.
Grabbing his towel he wiped the sweat off his face, and then cleaned off the bench. Treat the gym right, and it’ll treat you right back.
Jaune paused as he walked toward the shower, he had gotten into a habit of showering here so he didn’t have to make his teammate's rush to clean up, there was wall of mirror he looked himself over finding nothing of note, beside himself sweaty and his hair kinda sticky looking.
The water was cold, but high pressured, helping unwind any knots on his back and wash off grime better. He had started taking cold showers more frequently as in the field your rarely got to wash off in general, and if you did, it’s not likely you’ll get hot water, so it he thought it was probably best to get into the habit now.
Working out felt good, taking a shower afterword was just perfect. The only thing that would make it better was wearing his onesie, he had a right to comfort! But, it had gone mysteriously missing after he met Coco on his walk back from the gym half a year ago. So, for now he was stuck wearing white tank-top, and a pair of cotton shorts back to the dorm.
He waved by to the upperclassman about to close the gym, and left for his dorm. He may not have started going to the gym for the right reason, but over the course of a year, he felt like he had grown from then. In fact... what was the reason he started going to the gym? Something about women? Eh, must have been nothing. Ever since he started taking his training double seriously during the Vytal festival, it was like he just didn’t feel dating anybody till he around to being a huntsman, like that there was more to life than dating or stuff.
Jaune ran a hand through his hair, he had started growing it out at the beginning of the second year and now Pyrrha and everybody else vetoed him getting a hair cut!
“Hahah, jokes on them though, they have to brush the knots out of my hair!”
Walking back to his dorm a fruity perfume pasted his nose, a vaguely familar laughter along with it. Then a slightly familar group of girls were walking in the opposite direction as him. They looked like they came back from a night on the town. He liked the way they dressed, it complimented themselves very well.
As he walked pasted them they paused and stared at him, Jaune paused too, but shrugged, giving them a broad smile and a wave before walking back to his dorm.
Jaune failed to miss the women eyeing fucking him as he walked away, all of them red face and heavy breathing.
“Hmm, why do I feel like I’m in danger?”
----------
Jaune wasn’t sure when, but he had grown into a morning person. It was fun to get up in the morning now, he liked watching the sun rise, seeing the sky change colors on his morning runs.
Being team leader meant having responsibilities, so being a early riser now meant getting up his team, they were going to be third-years in a not small amount of time. So he made sure that they got up at a reasonable time to prepare for the day. Along with the fact on mission they would have to get up before the sun rise on most days.
Also, he especially liked to watch his teammates get up, it was entertaining in different ways from Nora crashing out of bed, to Ren rising from a blanket cocoon, and Pyrrha’s silly little death threats to any man stealing bitches out there.
He tended to wake them up with a gentle approach putting hand on there shoulders and carefully shaking them awake. He had forgotten how strong he was a couple of months ago when he sent Nora flying into a wall by accident, so had tried to be gentle.
The rest of Team Jnpr had learned a couple months ago that they no longer had a choice in waking up early, the only choice was before the sun was up or after.
Jaune put on his uniform for class, he frowned a little bit, as it was tighter than it was yesterday. Maybe it’s new? Guess it needs to be broken in.
Team RWBY met them at breakfast, Ruby refused to let her other bestie get ahead in the leader game by letting just JNPR get up early! Jaune didn’t notice but he often got murderous glances from Blake.
Eating breakfast Jaune felt a crick in his back so he leaned back.
Pop-pop-pop-pop, RIIIIP!
His buttons on his shirt fired off like a machine gun shattering against the walls of the cafeteria, and then his shirt fell to pieces, revealing his sculpted torso, arms and abs.
“Ahh man, I liked that shirt.” Then continued eating, not aware of the stares his friends, other students, and Ms. Goodwitch were giving his body, eyeing him up as much or more than he used to do to them.
AN: If this Jaune was ever put into a situation where couldn’t exercise for like a week, his libido would come back with vengeance and make him a unstoppable sex monster. That said, what are the odds of that happening?

Assassin-To-Be (Assassin’s Creed Syndicate AU)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Assassin!Luke x Reader (1880's Victorian London)
Words: 7300+
Author's Note: so, a few months ago I decided to do an Assassin's Creed Syndicate AU with Luke. Cause his fake death scene in No Shame made him look like an assassin sneaking around. This is my masterpiece. I love it. I hope you do too.
A few things to cover- Templar's are a group of bad people. Starrick is the head boss of the Templar's in London and they're trying to find the Shroud. Which is a giant scarf that provides the person wearing it immortality. Blighters are a gang that works for the Templars.
You and Jack finally moved into the small apartment the two of you have been looking at since you arrived in London.
Although, since you moved here you've noticed Jack's been a bit distant. He hasn't really shown any affection towards you in almost two weeks.
You studied him for days, noticing him coming home late from work more frequently. You sometimes even stayed out late yourself, just to see if he cared. He didn't.
-
The curly blonde shivers as the wind smack him in the face while stepping off of the boat. His blue eyes look around the area before a sigh escapes his lips. "Here we go," he mumbles and heads towards the stone stairs that lead to the streets.
Henry Green and two other assassins, Jacob and Evie Frye, stand at the top of the stairs and watch the Australian make his way towards them.
"This is the guy?" A scruffy English voice asks and Henry looks over at Jacob.
"Yeah. This is the guy. Luke Hemmings. The best assassin in Australia. He's a key to stopping the Templars."
-
You were heading home from your day at Alexander Graham Bell's shop, always intrigued in watching him work. You met him during your shopping one day, literally running into him and dropping all the vegetables you had in your arms. Since then the two of you have become quite good friends, spending most of your days with him.
You wrap your shawl around your shoulders, shivering at the chilly wind as you walk down the dim streets. You made it to your apartment an hour later and you just couldn't wait to slip into bed.
"Jack! I'm home," you call out while closing the front door behind you. A woman's moan stops you in your tracks and you look towards your bedroom. "Jack?"
You walk towards the bedroom and a gasp leaves your lips upon seeing your boyfriend fucking another woman. Both of them look over at you, Jack's eyes becoming wide as he pulls away from the other woman.
"Y/N-"
"Fuck you," you mutter, feeling the tears come to your eyes as you swallow the lump in your throat. "You're such a fucking cunt I don't know why I stayed with you."
You're seething as you slap him across the face, huffing, and puffing before walking out of your apartment. You cross your arms over your chest as you make your way to the hotel that's a few blocks down the street.
You sniffle while walking down the uneven cobblestone street, being careful not to hurt yourself. You're wiping the tears off your face when a man comes out from an alley beside you.
"Hello, sweetness. Aren't you a cute little thing," his thick accent compliments and you go to move around him when his hand stops you, grabbing ahold of your wrist. "Hold on, I'm not done with you."
You begin to struggle in his grip as he tugs you into the alley before pressing you against the wall. "Please," you beg, wanting to get away from him and he laughs wickedly, one of his hands grabbing my breast. You cry out, doing everything in your power to get away from the man dressed in red. "Stop!"
Luke was running along the rooftops when he heard your voice. He stops in his tracks, skidding along the damp rooftops before heading closer towards your screams. The blonde peeks over the side, seeing a blighter try to assault you in a sexual way.
He growls a bit, growing hatred towards the man in question. Luke flicks out his hidden blade before jumping down from the roof, landing on top of the blighter.
The man lets out a groan as Luke kneels above him, his hidden blade embedded in his chest. "Scum," he whispers harshly before pulling the blade out, seeing the life drain from the blighter's eyes.
You watch with wide eyes before moving away from the wall, needing to get away from here. You end up tripping over your feet, falling to the ground and Luke looks up at you. He takes a step towards you and you pant heavily while backing away from him.
Luke puts his hands up as you continue to scurry away from him on the damp sidewalks. "Hey, hey," he mutters and crouched slightly, "I'm not gonna hurt you. I promise."
You stare up at the hooded man, your chest heaving rapidly. "W-Who are you?" You ask him as he pushes the black hood off of his head, exposing the blonde curls underneath it.
"I'm Luke. Luke Hemmings."
"You...you killed that man," you remind him and his blue eyes dart towards the now dead blighter on the ground.
He scratches the back of his head, his curls swaying in the London breeze. "Yeah, yeah. I did," Luke mumbles and rubs his hands together. "To be fair-"
"To be fair?!" You draw out, cutting him off from speaking with wide eyes. "What justification is there for killing a man?!"
The blonde sighs and looks over your facial features, noticing the terrified look in your eyes. "Yes. When he's working for a sick man and for trying to take advantage of a beautiful woman, like yourself," he explains, and your mouth parts slightly.
"Okay… you're not wrong there, I guess." You breathe out as your cheeks become a bit red.
Luke lets out a chuckle and holds out a hand for you to grab. You look up at him before darting your eyes towards his hand for a moment. "C'mon," he class and tilts his head to the side, "you can trust me."
You nod your head and grab a hold of his hand. Luke pulls you off the ground and you wipe the dirt and mud off the back of your dress the best you could.
"Thank you, Luke," you mumble and he grins, nodding his head.
"Not a problem, love. Just doing my job more or less," he shrugs and you hum in response.
"What is your job? If you don't mind me asking," you question him and Luke sighs slightly before looking around. "Wha-"
"Hold onto me," he states and your eyes widen. You try to form a sentence when Luke takes a step towards you. "If you want to know my job, you'll grab a hold of me."
You swallow thickly and nod once, reaching out to wrap your arms around his neck. Luke raises his hand in the sky and your eyes move to it when a metal wire shoots out from the gauntlet that's on his hand. A scream leaves your lips as the two of you thrust into the air, Luke's hand gripping onto you tightly.
The two of you land onto the roof and you hold your hands out to balance yourself, eyes wide as you glance down. "What the…?" You mumble and look back over at Luke, looking over the clothes he was wearing.
The trench coat has blue accents in it and seems to split into two once it goes past his ass. Under the trench coat was a navy blue vest that was tucked into his high waisted pants with a collared shirt that was slightly unbuttoned. The gauntlet on his arm shines in the moonlight as it stops just below his elbow. Even looking at him you had no idea who he was.
"I'm… I'm an assassin," he informs you while motioning towards the clothes he was wearing. You stare at him with wide eyes for what feels like the millionth time before shaking your head.
"This is crazy," you whisper to yourself and run your fingers through your hair, "t-th-there's no way you're an assassin. That's not… that's not a thing."
Luke let's out a laugh and rests his hands on his hips. "It's real. I'm standing right in front of you. There are three other assassins that are living in a train in London," he tells you and you're in utter shock.
"Wow…" you whisper and tucks a strand of hair behind your ear. "So, uhm, you plan to get me down right?"
He grins widely and nods his head. "Of course. I'm not going to leave you stranded up here," he chuckles and wraps his arm around your waist again.
You grip onto his trench coat, watching him as he points his hand towards a five-foot bring wall. You try to keep in the scream, but it comes out anyway. A laugh leaves your lips afterward as the wind flows through your dark hair.
Your feet connect with the ground and you stumble a bit, grabbing a hold of him to keep my footing. "Okay, I gotta say… that's fun?" It comes out like a question and you chuckle.
Luke smiles down at you, admiring the look on your face. He found you to be really cute, the entire time you were holding onto him he couldn't stop inhaling the perfume you were wearing. You smell like flowers. He swallows thickly and places a hand on your forearm.
"Why were you out so late?" He asks in concern and the smile drops from your face.
"Uhm, my now ex-boyfriend was making love to someone else in our bed," you tell him with a frown and clear your throat. "So, I was walking towards the hotel."
The blonde nods his head, noticing your defeated look and he lands a hand on your arm. "I'm sorry you had to deal with that. He definitely doesn't deserve you from what I can tell," he mumbles and you look up at him, your eyes meeting his blue ones.
"You don't know me, though," you whisper and Luke shrugs his shoulders, dropping his hand from your arm.
"I have a knack for reading people and I can tell that you're a good person. Can I… can I walk you to the hotel? Or, would you… would you want to stay at our hideout? It's very safe. He wouldn't be able to find you," he mentions with a tilt of his head and you stare up at him in shock.
This man you just met. Who kills people for a living. Invited you to stay at the train hideout with three other assassins. You would be safer there most likely. Jack was always the type to follow after an argument. You nod your head at his offering and Luke lets out a sigh of relief, grabbing a hold of your hand before heading towards an empty carriage.
"Hop in, m'lady," he smiles and opens the carriage door for you. You giggle and curtsy before climbing into the buggy.
-
You hide behind Luke a bit once you get onto the train, glad to see no one in sight. "Are you sure they're going to be okay with me being here?" You ask the blonde and he looks down at you.
"Yeah, I'm sure. I mean, I don't see a problem with you staying here," he mumbles and shrugs his shoulders. You stifle a laugh, gripping his arm as he leads you through the different train cars. "You can stay in the room I'm sleeping in. I'll sleep somewhere else."
"Luke," you reach out and grab him, stopping him from leaving the room. "I-Can you stay with me?"
The blonde stares down at you as you chew on your bottom lip, not wanting to be alone in a train with skilled killers. "Yeah, yeah," he whispers and lays a comforting hand on yours. "I'll be right here."
He sits down in a chair beside the bed after taking off his trench coat, setting it on the desk. You slide onto the bed and lie down, your eyes staring up at the ceiling as you try to calm your nerves. "Luke," you whisper out one last time and you hear him hum in response, "thank you for saving me tonight."
Luckily once you passed out you slept like an absolute baby. Nothing disturbed your sleep throughout the night. Not even the sound of the train constantly running. The time was nearing seven in the morning when you woke up, stretching your arms while sitting up in the bed.
"Hell," you whisper and swing your legs over the side before getting up. You glance over at the chair to see Luke's tall frame scrunched up, heavy breaths leaving his lips as he was still sound asleep.
You smile gently, noticing how cute he looks before grabbing your things and walking out of the train car. You quietly make your way through the train, seeing that you guys are almost near the train station in The Strand.
You stop dead in your tracks as you walk by a board with a bunch of pictures tacked to it along with strings connecting to each other. You furrow your brows together, taking everything in when a hand presses against your shoulder. A scream leaves your lips as you're roughly turned around, your back now pressed against the board.
"Who are you?" A deep voice rasps out and you can feel a cool blade press against your throat.
You look up at the man, seeing a scar in his eyebrow and his striking brown eyes. "I-I… my name's Y/N!"
Loud footsteps are heard and you glance towards the train car door to see Luke standing in the doorway. "Jacob! Stop!"
A gruff leaves his lips and presses the blade harder to my throat. "Why? She could be working for him?!" He states and looks over at the blonde.
Your body shakes in fear as Luke slowly walks towards the two of you, his hands out. "She doesn't. She didn't even know we existed!" Luke informs him and Jacob looks back at you, a skeptical look in his eyes before he pulls the blade away from your throat.
"What is she even doing here? If Evie finds out-"
"If Evie finds out what?" A woman's voice cuts him off and you twist your head to the left, seeing a woman your age standing in the room. "Who's this?" She asks while her eyes are set on you before moving back to the two men.
"This is Y/N. She had a bit of a dilemma last night and I offered for her to stay here so she was safe," Luke explains and Evie nods her head, stepping towards me.
"You alright?" She asks you and you swallow, nodding your head.
"Y-Yeah, yeah. Luke… saved my life last night from a-a blighter?" You question the name you've heard him call the men who dress in red and you glance towards the curly blonde to see him nod his head. "I was heading towards a hotel since my ex-boyfriend decided to, uhm, cheat on me with someone else in our home and the blighter came out of nowhere and tried to assault me."
Evie's eyes widen a bit and she rests her hand on my shoulder. "I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" She asks and you nod your head.
"I heard her screaming and managed to kill him before he got too far," Luke pipes up and you tuck a strand of hair behind your ear, the images from last night flashing through your mind.
"At least you were in the vicinity. God knows what would've happened after he was done," she comments and your heart drops in your chest, shivering at the thought of it.
The train comes to a stop and you move to glance out the window to see that you made it to The Strand train station. "I'm…" you trail off and look back at the rest of the assassin's, "I'm gonna get going. Thank you, Luke. For everything." You smile at him before moving to step off the train. You heading straight towards the stairs that lead to the street when Luke's voice yells to you.
"Y/N! Wait!" You stop your movements, glancing over your shoulder to see the blonde running up to you. "Do you… do you need help finding a new place or what's going to happen?"
Your heart flutters at his words, surprised that this gorgeous man cares about you after just meeting you last night. Or maybe that's just his job.
"I-I guess I didn't really think of that. I think I'm just going to gather up my belongings and head to that hotel. It should be safer in the daytime, yeah?" You ask him, fiddling with your fingers as his blue eyes stare into yours.
"It should be. I would go with you, but we've got stuff we need to do today," Luke mutters and you nod your head, smiling softly.
"That's fine, Luke. I'll see you around maybe?" You question with a tilt of your head, praying that he says he will.
A smile comes to his pink lips, nodding his head. "Yeah, absolutely. You'll definitely see me around Alex's place," he comments and you nod your head.
"Perfect."

You rush through the streets of the borough you live in, The Strand, running as fast as your heeled boots could take you. The train station was in sight and you're beginning to feel out of breath from running so far, so fast.
News about a shootout between the Rooks and Blighters roam the streets in almost every borough. What had you worry the most was when you heard someone mention that a man dressed in a trench coat got shot.
Luke immediately came to your mind and you dropped what you were doing to head to the train station, hoping that their train would be at the station. You were in luck to see their train just pulling in when you reached the top of the stairs. You quickly run towards the train, hopping onto it as soon as it stops.
"Y/N?" Evie's voice calls out and you look over at the woman, your chest heaving rapidly.
"Is it… is it Luke?" You ask in a whisper and she nods her head. Your heart drops into your and she motions her hand, silently telling you to follow her.
Your heart beats a million miles a minute as the two of you walk into the room Luke is resting in. You swallow thickly as your eyes lay on Luke who's barely conscious. Evie heads back out of the room, leaving the two of you alone. You fiddle with your fingers before moving a chair near the bed.
Luke's face is a bit pale and you watch as his chest slowly rises and falls. He squirms a bit before turning his head towards you. "Y/N…?" He trails off in a whisper, a groan leaving his lips as one of his hands move to his side.
You nod your head, scooting closer as you give him a sad smile. "I'm here, Luke, I'm here," you mumble and rest one of your hands on his arm, rubbing gently.
The blonde-haired assassin grabs a hold of your hand, lacing his fingers with yours. "W-What are… what are you…" Luke struggles as you watch his blue eyes roll back into his head, heavy breaths leaving his lips.
You squeeze his hand, tears dancing along your waterline as you swallow the lump in your throat. "The shootout has been roaming around the streets and ran here as fast as I could. Get some rest, Luke. I'll be here when you wake up," you inform him and lean forward to kiss his forehead.
Luke hums as you comb your fingers through his curly locks and leans into your touch. "'m glad you're here…" he mumbles before nodding off. You wipe the tears that are streaming down your cheeks while keeping a close eye on him, in case he gets any complications from the "surgery."
Footsteps were heard from behind you and you glance over your shoulder to see Jacob standing in the train car doorway. "So, you ran about twenty blocks to see if he was okay?" He asks and you blush a bit before nodding your head. "You must really care for him then."
"I do. A lot more than I ever thought I would," you mumble and look back at Luke, stroking the back of his hand with your thumb.
"He's lucky to have you. I'm actually glad he brought you here that night," Jacob compliments and you smile back at him, giggling softly. "It's nice to have you around. I know Evie likes not being the only woman, that's for sure."
-
It's been almost a month since Luke got shot by a Templar and you wish he would take it easy still, but he's a stubborn man. The two of you walk down the streets of Westminster and he keeps a constant lookout for Blighters or Templars roaming the streets. You can feel his arm brush against yours every so often and you can't help but blush each time he does.
You two walk past the gate, standing at the base of Big Ben and your gaze moves upwards. "Are you sure about this?" You ask Luke as he tucks you into his side. He glances down at you, a smile on his lips while his ocean blue eyes twinkle.
"Of course, why?" Luke questions and you gently place your hand over his healed wound. His eyes move to your hand and then back to your face. "Y/N, I'm fine. I promise."
You sigh and run your fingers over the spot, feeling his clothing against your fingertips. Luke's finger hooks under your jaw, lifting your head to look up at him.
"Hey," he whispers and you hum in response, your fingers gripping his vest. "I'm gonna be okay, alright? You don't have to worry about me."
"I don't have to, but I do. I care about you, Luke. More than you know…" you trail off and he smiles softly while tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
"I know how you feel, love. I care about you so much," Luke whispers while wrapping his arm around you, large hand gripping hold of your waist.
Your heart flutters in your chest as you smile up at him. You could hear his zipline go off and your eyes widen. A smirk comes to his lips as you wrap your arms around his neck, the two of you flinging into the air. You breathe heavily as you reach the top, Luke's hands gripping your hips as he helps you up.
Your breath hitches in your throat as you look at the view London gives. "Wow," you whisper and spin in a circle, taking everything in.
"Seems like maintenance broke the gate and haven't fixed it yet," Luke mentions while eyeing the open section. His fingertips drag along your lower back, his blue eyes set on you. "Be careful, okay?"
"Yeah, I will," you mumble while taking a step towards the open gate. The wind blows your hair back and you shiver a bit at the cold breeze. "This is incredible, Luke."
He chuckles from behind you and you look over your shoulder, smiling softly as his eyes are set on you. "I knew you would like it," Luke grins and you nod your head in agreement, glancing back out at the city.
Part of the building crumbles and you're too late to notice. "L-Luke!" You shriek as your foot gets caught in the rubble, your body falling through the open gate. Luke lurches forward and manages to grab your hand before you fell 315 feet.
"I got you…" he trails off, his blue eyes wide and he pulls you up. You collapse on top of him, gripping his trench coat tightly as your heart pounds in your chest. The two of you breathe heavily as your eyes meet, your faces inches from one another's. "I got you."
You close your eyes, letting out a sigh before resting your forehead against his. Luke brings a hand to your face, pushing some of your hair behind your ear. Your eyes flutter open, your breath hitching in your throat as you can see the adoration in his blue eyes.
"You're so beautiful, you know that?" He whispers and you blush, attempting to hide your face in his chest when Luke stops you from doing so.
You're almost panting as the blonde keeps you from hiding, his thumb stroking your cheekbone. The distance between your faces diminishes and your eyes flutter shut as his lips press against yours. One of your hands leaves his trench coat and combs through his hair, moving your lips against his.
Luke's hands move to your waist and grips slightly. Your heart pounds in your chest as you pull away, looking down at him. A smile comes to his lips and you slowly get off of him, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
The blonde sits up, his blue eyes looking over you for any cuts or injuries. "You okay?" He asks quietly and you chuckle, nodding your head.
"Yeah, yeah… guess I should've been more careful," you mumble and Luke laughs, getting onto his feet.
He holds out a hand and you grab onto it, Luke pulling you onto your feet as well. "I'd say I told you so, but I'll let it slide this time," he smiles softly and you giggle, wrapping your arms around his waist.
"Thank you," you mumble, resting your head on his chest. Luke kisses your head, his large hands resting on your back.
"It's no problem, Y/N/N. Can't have you dying on me. I like having you around," he tells you and you pick your head up, looking up at him. You melt at the dimpled smile on his face and he takes one of his hands to move some of your hair from your face.
You smile softly and fiddle with his trench coat. "I like being around you as well, Luke," you grin, and the blonde wraps his arms around you again, holding you against his chest.
"C'mon, let's get going," Luke mentions and you nod your head against his chest before pulling away from him.
-
"Why do I have to go to this ball?" You ask Evie as she fastens the buttons on the back of your dress.
"Because we feel that we'll need an extra pair of eyes," she states before pulling her hands away from you. You look at her through the mirror, running your hands down the Bordeaux-colored dress. "Plus, Luke's been training you right? So if we're in trouble we're going to need your help."
You nod your head at your words as you feel a bit nervous about actually having to fight someone who would kill you. A knock on your bedroom door snaps you from your thoughts, glancing towards the wooden object to see Luke standing in the doorway.
Your breath hitches in his throat as you take a good look at him. He wore a striking white waistcoat with a burgundy-colored undershirt, black slacks along with the same colored pumps, finishing it off with a black tailcoat. You can feel your hands becoming sweaty as Evie leaves the room, giving you a wink on her way out.
Luke's blue eyes dance over your outfit, really taking in how breathtaking you look. The dark color really complimented your skin tone. "You look stunning," he breathes out and takes a step towards you.
You fiddle with your hair and tuck some of the strays behind your ear. "You really think so? I've never… I've never been in such a fancy dress before," you chuckle softly and Luke smiles down at you.
"You definitely should more often. I'll have to get you some-"
"Luke! No, no. You're not going to get me anything. When I can afford it, I'll buy some," you cut him off and res one of your hands on his forearms. "At least, for now, I own this."
He nods his head, giving you a small smile as his hands gently grip your arms as well. "Okay, okay. So, I have something for you to keep hidden," Luke informs you and releases your arms. You do the same, watching him diligently as he pulls out a medium-sized dagger. "I want you to, uhm, slip this in your garter."
You laugh softly as you listened to him choke out that sentence. Luke clears his throat as his cheeks turn pink. "Why are you so flustered, Lukey?" You grin teasingly while taking the dagger from him before hiking up the skirt of your dress.
His blue eyes go wide, finding it hard to look away as you fasten the knife in your garter, positioning it in a way where it won't cut you. "Fucking hell…" Luke trails off and looks away from you.
You fix the skirt before glancing back towards Luke, seeing him scratching the back of his head. "How were you so confident kissing me on Big Ben but can't look at me now?" You ask with a tilt of your head.
"I-Because it's not right? I was just taught to treat a lady with respect," he mumbles while fiddling with his fingers. "Don't get me wrong i-it's nice to see you're so comfortable with me. I just… I'm just not used to this I guess?"
You're in awe as you look at Luke, watching him continue to fiddle with his fingers. "That's the sweetest thing someone's ever said to me," you whisper and Luke raises an eyebrow and mutters "really". You nod your head, grinning ear to ear as you take a step towards him.
Luke reaches for your hand, his blue eyes cast down to look at it before lifting it up, pressing his lips to the back of it. "I never would've thought I'd find love while being here," he confesses and the butterflies in your stomach begin to soar.
"I'd never thought I'd find love after what happened with Jack," you tell him and Luke hums, rubbing his thumb against the back of my hand. "Especially with an assassin."
Luke let's out a laugh and shakes his head, dropping your hand. "You're on your way of becoming one as well, sweetheart," he grins and you giggle, shrugging your shoulders.
"Are you guys done?" Jacob yells from the other room and both you and Luke glance towards the open bedroom door. "We're going to be late if you two keep jabbing on."
You bite your lip, glancing back at Luke as he lets out a sigh. "C'mon, we can "flirt" in the carriage," you giggle and grab his hand, beginning to lead him out of the room when he stops you.
Luke spins you around before pressing his lips to yours. Your eyes widen, one of your hands gripping his forearm. It only takes a couple of seconds for your eyes to flutter shut, proceeding to kiss him back. The blonde's hands rest on your waist, feeling him squeeze slightly through the dress.
"If anything happens. Come to me. I really don't want to put you in any danger," he whispers against your lips and you feel his forehead resting on yours. "Promise me you'll come to me if something happens."
You nod your head, a deep sigh coming from your nose as you inhale his scent. "I promise, Luke."
-
You and Luke walk into the courtyard together, the twins walking in front of the two of you as your nerves are rocketing through the roof. A hand slips itself into yours and you glance up at the blonde, his blue eyes already looking down at you.
"It's gonna be okay, alright?" He whispers and you nod your head, letting out a breath. “Do you want me to get you a drink?”
You shake your head, dropping your hand from him before placing it on his chest. “No, no. It’s fine, Luke. You’ve got stuff to do,” you reassure him and he nods his head.
“Don’t forget,” Luke starts and grabs your hand, bringing it to his lips. “If you need me, find me. I don’t care if I’m in the middle of something. Find me.”
You giggle, smiling up at the blonde as you mutter an alright before leaning on your toes to press a short kiss to his lips. Luke’s hands rest on the sides of your arms, his thumbs stroking the skin gently. The smile on your lips widens when you pull away from him, seeing his lips pursed still.
“You are going to be the death of me,” he whispers and you let out a chuckle, fiddling with his tailcoat.
“Go help save the country, handsome,” you tell him and he nods his head, leaning down to press one more kiss to your lips before walking away from you. You sigh happily and bring your fingers up to your lips, the feeling of his lingering.
You watch the people dance from the terrace railing, tapping your foot to the beat of the music that's being played. You smile softly, watching the couple's dance close to one another. It would be so nice to dance. I don't really know how to dance though.
"Would you like to dance, m'lady?" Luke's Australian voice asks from behind you and you glance over your shoulder, eyes wide.
"Luke," you giggle and he takes your hand in his, "I thought you were supposed to be doing something?"
He smiles softly and you set your drink onto the table as the blonde leads you towards the other people dancing. "Jacob's taking care of it. I'm just here in case something goes wrong, as are you," Luke states while placing a hand to your waist.
You smile softly as the two of you dance to music. The two of you stare at each other in admiration, your fingers intertwining with his as the other rests on his shoulder. "I never would've thought I'd be here right now. With you," you whisper and Luke chuckles softly, nodding his head.
"Yeah, I agree. I mean I probably would've ended up here since it's my job, but I never thought I'd be dancing with the girl I fancy," he states and your heart flutters, still in awe after hearing it a second time. "On a more serious note… you think you'd want to train to become an assassin after all of this?"
You look up at him with wide eyes, halting your movements and he stumbles a bit. His blonde curls bounce a bit as he regains his footing. "Are… are you serious?" You ask and Luke grins ear to ear, nodding his head.
"Absolutely, sweetheart."
"Holy shit…" you trail off and Luke chuckles, tucking some hair behind his ear. "I- Yeah, that would be awesome!"
He smiles softly before dipping down, pressing his pink lips against yours. You couldn't help but smile into the kiss, your fingers going into his hair when you felt a pair of eyes on you. You pull away from Luke, glancing to your left and your breath hitches in your throat at the man who's staring at the two of you from afar.
W-What is he doing here? And why's he wearing Templar gear?
Luke notices something in the corner of his eye and glances up at the building, seeing Jacob on the roof as the other assassin raises his hand. He nods his head before looking back down at you. "Sweetheart," he starts but stops as he detects the fear on your face. "What's wrong?"
"Jack's here," you whisper, tearing your eyes away from your ex to look up at Luke.
"What?! Where?" He asks while looking around. You grab his chin, turning his face in the direction your ex is standing as he chats with another Templar.
"There."
He curses softly, his large hands running up your arms. "Okay, I need to go help Jacob, uhm," Luke pauses and turns his attention to you, "stay out of sight from him. Do anything you can to not let him near you."
You nod your head, swallowing the lump in your throat. Luke caresses your cheek before kissing it softly. "Be safe," you mumble as he begins to walk away. He smiles softly, nodding his head as his heart pounds in his chest as he looks you over.
"I will. Same goes to you."
-
The last thing you expected was to find your ex-boyfriend at the ball, walking around proudly in his Templar uniform. You did your best to stay away from him, but you started to worry about Luke, Jacob, and Evie when they haven't come back yet and it's been over an hour and a half since they left.
You chew on your nails when looking out towards the trees and begin to panic when you feel Jack's eyes on you.  You quickly take a glance his way to see him and another Templar eyeing you while your ex points in your direction. You start to walk away from them and head out towards the ruins, keeping a lookout through the corner of your eye. When the two men began to follow is when you went into full-blown panic, walking a bit faster towards where Luke is.
You hike your dress up a bit, closing the distance between you and the ruins. You glance back once more to just see Jack following you still and when a smirk forms on his lip is when you decide to break out into a sprint.
You were running through the grounds of the Palace, breathing heavily as you continue to hear his heavy footsteps running behind you. "C'mon, Y/N, stop running from me," he calls out from behind you and your heart pounds in your chest. You trip over a rock, catching yourself before you fall over.
You can see Luke standing about 100 yards in front of you, fighting a few Templars that are guarding the opening to the ruins. A grunt leaves your lips as Jack tackles you to the ground. You end up flipping over, trying to kick him off of you when he lands a punch to your ribs. A yelp leaves your lips, pressing your hands to his chest before kicking his kidney.
"Get off of me!" You yell and kick him in the kidney once more. You flip onto your stomach and your eyes meet Luke's for a second when a sharp pain travels up your back.
A scream leaves your lips as you feel Jack pull the knife from your back before flipping you over. Luke lets out a gasp as he watches the Templar straddle your chest. "Y/N!" The blonde yells and assassinates both of the men beside him.
"It's such a shame that you have to die," Jack tsks as you did everything you could to get him off of you. The knife he's holding almost pierces through your chest when Jack was tackled off of you.
You gasp and since as you lean on your left hand, watching Luke shove his blade into your ex-boyfriend's chest. A surge of pain shoots up your back and a shriek leaves you lips, falling back onto the grass. "L-Luke!" You call out and the blonde glances over his shoulder, seeing you arch your back off the ground and your chest heaving.
Luke rushes over to you and lifts you off the ground. "C'mon," he starts and wraps an arm around your waist. You let out a grunt, gripping onto his trench coat as the two of you trudge towards the main gate. "We need to get you to Miss Nightingale."
"B-But the shroud…" you trail off, feeling yourself getting weaker as Luke hushes you. You almost trip as you get closer to the exit, a cry leaving your lips.
"Jacob and Evie will take care of it. I'm not losing you," the blonde assassin states before stopping, lifting you completely in his arms as he carries you bridal style towards an empty carriage.
-
You smile as you watch your little girl run around the living room of Luke’s home. The blonde curls on her head bouncing as giggles. Evelyn picks up one of her toys, shaking it in her tiny hands before tumbling back towards you. “Hi, baby girl,” you grin and pick her up from her spot. “Wanna go find daddy?”
She lets out a squeal, clapping her hands together as the two of you head further into the house. You walk into the kitchen to see your husband cooking lunch, the smell of the beef he’s sauteing starts to make you hungry. “Hi, loves,” Luke greets and peers over his shoulder. You smile at him, walking up to him and pressing a kiss to his cheek. Luke bends down to kiss your lips before moving his attention to his daughter. “Hi, Eve!”
Evelyn smiles at the blonde, reaching out to him and Luke pulls away from the stove as you hand her to him. You continue making the beef patties that are in the pan while Luke places a kiss all over Evelyn’s face, her squeals echoing off the walls of the kitchen. You pull the pan off the burner when they were done, setting the two and a half patties onto a plate. “Luke, can you get the highchair for her?” You ask and he nods his head, walking into the other room with her in his arms.
You cut up the half patty, making it small enough for Eve to eat when a knock on the front door reaches your ears. “Sweetheart, can you get that?” Luke calls out.
“Yeah!” You answer and place the fork and knife down before walking towards the door. You open the door to see three men standing on the porch, all dressed up in Assassin gear. They look at you confused as you give them a smile. “Luke! I think it’s for you.”
Your blonde husband talks nonsense to your daughter while walking towards you. “Who is-” Luke starts but cuts himself off as his blue eyes catch sight of his three friends. “Guys, hey! What are you doing here?”
The brunette scratches his neck and chuckles, “well, we heard you were back in town and decided to stop by. You know… since it’s been a decade since we’ve seen you,” he explains and the smile on his lips falls.
“Yeah, I’m sorry. I meant to send letters but the job in London took up a lot of my time and then I was training her afterward,” Luke mumbles and glances down at you. “Uh, Y/N, these are my fellow assassin friends, Calum, Michael, and Ashton. Guys, this is my wife Y/N and our child, Evelyn.”
You give the three men a small wave and they do the same. “Do you guys wanna come in? We just made lunch and if you’re hungry I can cook up a few more,” you smile, and the other blonde grins.
“I don’t know about Ashton or Cal, but I could eat,” Michael states and walks into the house. You let out a chuckle as he and Luke head back into the kitchen. You motion for the other two to come in and you close the door after they come inside.
“It’s nice to finally meet you guys. Luke talked about you all a lot,” you smile and Calum smiles down at you.
“Of course he did. I only wish we knew about you,” he states while the three of you head into the kitchen to see Luke already cooking the other patties as Evelyn sits in her highchair.
“Well, there’s no time like the present,” you grin and sit in the chair beside your little girl, your heart fluttering at the scene in front of you. You never thought this was the future you were going to bestow and you were not complaining. I love my little family.

OC asks - YuGiOh & Assassins Creed
OH YES, THIS IS GONNA BE FUN~!
--- YU-GI-OH
Tumblr media
1. What is your OC’s favorite color?
She loves green! It’s a calming colour that highlight her eyes and gives her a more alluring look.
2. Does your OC collect anything? What do they collect?
Not sure if it counts, as she doesn’t collect physical things, but she loves to take pictures of everything that makes her happy and look at them from time to time.
3. What kind of things is your OC allergic to?
Idiocy.
4. What kind of clothing does your OC wear?
Black jeans, with a regular green top, a black vest-like trench coat and knee length black boots, so pretty basic.
5. What is your OC’s first memory?
Uhhhh......Like, as a child?  I suppose it’d be when her mother smiled at her and gave her the family heirloom, the Millennium Medallion.
6. What’s your OC’s favorite animal? Least favorite?
She loves all animals, but at first, she loved Wolves the most, since she thought it would suit her loner personality. Her least favourite animal were, ironically, foxes, because her father blamed every mistake on her and her ironic name.  That is, until she meets Seto and Mokie, and becomes friends with Yugi’s group, who taught her that instead of listening to the bad stuff, she should make her own name meaning, and since then, she wore her name and spirit animal proudly.
7. What element would your OC be?
BYFIREBEPURGED
Well, if we go by elements meaning, I think either Earth, because she is a nurturing and healing person who helps others without realising. Either that, or water, because she is calm and relaxes people, but she can also become an outright tsunami.
8. What is your OC’s theme song?
I think “Too Late” by Dead by Sunrise, since it shows how desperate she was to find an escape from the darkness she succumbed to once her mother and younger sister were killed in a car accident and she was left under the strict hand of her father who had inhumane expectations of her and wanted only perfection and for her to follow the path he dictates.
9. Do you have a faceclaim / voiceclaim for your OC?
I never thought of that, to be fair? For voiceclaims no, but I imagine her to have a pretty versatile voice, feminine and casual most of the time, but can go low enough to either sound alluring or have a hint of poison darkness.
As for face claims, while creating my Game of Thrones OC, I stumbled upon this picture and she’s been my “faceclaim” if I can’t do a drawing of her, or if the fandom doesn’t have anime/cartoon characters, but real people.
Tumblr media
10. What deadly sin would best represent your OC?
For a long time, I’m pretty sure it would be Envy, because she’s see happy people with no family issues, and envies them so much, having dark thoughts about them.
11. What are your OC’s hobbies?
Games of all kinds, travelling, staying in the nature, relaxing outside.
12. How patient is your OC? How hot-headed are they?
She’s incredibly patient with everyone and everything, in most situation, but can’t handle bad behaviour and dumb questions, especially if repeated, and especially if she’s tired, concentrating or the repetition of the conditions is a much too high number.
13. What is your OC’s gender / sexuality / race / species / etc.?
Kitsune is a human girl, but I haven’t thought of her sexuality or romantic orientation before, since she’s only ever attracted to Seto.
14. What foods does your OC like to eat? What are their least favorite foods?
She loves any kind of home-made food, but can’t stand some sea-food dishes.
15. If your OC could have any pet, what would they choose? Why?
Do foxes count?  If not, dogs and snakes would be her first options.
16. What does your OC smell like?
Okay, so, there’s this perfume and shower gel that I love so much and they smell SO good, like chocolate...So yes, that exactly.
17. How do they make a living? What kind of job do they want / not want? What is their dream job? What do they think of their current job?
She’s a student, so she has no actual job, but her dream job revolves around technology - Either a programmer or a game developer, both options, later, allowing her to work together with Seto.
18. What are your OC’s greatest fears? Weaknesses? Strengths?
She’s afraid of being manipulated and controlled again, insects and loneliness. Her biggest weakness is her kindness and the fact that she has a hard time denying anyone’s requests, so she can very often be walked all over, if someone doesn’t interfere. Her strengths are her perseverance and ambition that keep her going on and not giving up.
19. What kind of music do they listen to? Do they have a favorite song?
She loves rock, trap and indie songs mostly, and has a hard time choosing only one song, but one of them would be Scorpions - “Still Loving You”.
20. If they came from their world to ours (if not already in our’s) how would they react? What would they do?
Honestly, the Yu-Gi-Oh world is pretty similar to ours, so I don’t think it would be a huge problem to adapt, and would try to make friends and pursue her dreams.
21. What personal problems/issues do they have? Pet peeves?
Apart from her family issues with her mother and younger sister dying and her father being a controlling jerk? She gets pretty restless when she feels something is wrong, and would go in an overly-protective mode and often get herself in trouble.
Her pet peeves are when people chew too loud, being too loud in general, people looking at her phone and people who aren’t punctual or go back on their promises.
22. What kind of student were they/would they be in high school?
“The Nerd” trope. Straight As, loner, shy, but that’s mostly because of her father and how he’d punish her if she didn’t do perfect, and would move her to other schools/cities each year, depending on where his business would lead him.
23. What is a random fact about your OC?
Her hair has more personality than she has. No matter how much she tries, she can’t get it nice and neat, so she stopped caring and leaves it as untameable as it wants it to be.
24. What is their outlook on life? What is their philosophy / what do they think in general about living?
She’s a realist that can often slide down to pessimism or fatalism, as she doesn’t actually have any experience in the real world and is afraid of failing  and ruining everything around her.
25. What inspired you to create them / how did you create them? Were they originally a fan-character? What was their personality / design like when you first made them?
Honestly? She’s based on me and how I really am or I’d want to be, in a way. I love how I look with red hair, and I love foxes and their various portrayals and meanings, so I used them to create Kitsune, but instead of giving her black eyes, like I have, I gave her green eyes, like emeralds, to give her that touch of mysterious seductive aura around her.
26. Who is the most important person in their life? Why? Who is the least important to them (that still has an impact and why?
The most important person ALIVE in her life is Seto, because he was the one to take her away from her father and show her they are more than their bad parenting and tragic backstory. (Basically, after some exam results were showed, and she didn’t get the marks he expected, her father went to the principal’s office and realising the girl was using her mother’s old Duel Monsters, proceeding on lighting it on fire, making the girl freak out and put the slightly aflame deck in the principal’s aquarium, before having an outright breakdown, only for Seto to get mad and sass out the father, who was supposed to be a future business partner. When she left the school, she saw Seto and went to thank him, but he only asked if she wanted to babysit Mokuba for a short period of time when he’ll be in another country with business, and from then on, they bond.) On the other hand, the least important person, who still impacts her life, is her father, for the reasons stated before.
27. What kind of childhood did your character have?
Does it count as your usual sob story? Because until she was 13, her childhood was the dream childhood, but when her mother died, it all went down the drain.
28. What kind of nervous habits do they have? Do they stim? Do they have any kinds of addictions?
She tends to wet and bite her bottom lip a lot, she always walks out with earphones and music at max volume to avoid anxiety, walks fast when alone, focuses on her phone to combat the same anxiety and awkwardness, and when impatient or focused, she plays with a strand of her hair, drums her fingers on the table (she likes it when she hears the tapping of her nails), or bounces her leg.
29. If they could choose their epitaph for their grave, what would they choose?
Game over. Respawn time : 3...2...1...
30. Do they want to get married? Why or why not? Would they ever want kids? Do they have kids? Why?
She can’t stand children, they annoy her very much and especially doesn’t want to go through the whole childbirth mess, or have her child hate her. As for marriage...She is afraid of marriages, of rather said, of the possible heartbreak of a divorce, but she wouldn’t actually mind having a dream/fairy tale like small wedding, to make everything beautiful and ethereal.
31. What is their most traumatic memory/experience? What is their favorite memory?
Her most traumatic experience is hearing that her mother and sister got in a car accident, and while her mother was killed on the spot, her sister died in the hospital, in front of her, not long after giving her her favourite Duel Monsters card : Madolche Cruffsant , just because it was hella cute.
Her favourite memory is either her mother teaching her Duel Monsters, or her reading her Disney Princess stories.
32. If they could have one thing in the world, what would it be?
Her mother and sister back to life.
33. Would they ever kill someone? What would someone have to do to push them to kill someone? If they would kill someone, why?
She’d only kill in self-defense or to save someone else, otherwise, the farthest she’d go, is a hell of a beating.
34. What social groups and activities does your character attend? What role do they like to play? What role do they actually play, usually?
In a group of friends, she’s the moral and emotional support of the group, as well as the one to attempt to stop others from doing impulsive and reckless decisions.
In a game, she’d be the healer, priest, shaman or white mage.
35. How is your character’s imagination? Daydreaming a lot? Worried most of the time? Living in memories?
Her imagination goes through the roof, as she always day-dreams about literally everything and anything and reads a lot. Yeah, she does worry a lot and lives in the past, but she’s trying to work on it.
36. What does your character want most? What do they need really badly, compulsively? What are they willing to do, to sacrifice, to obtain?
She needs affections, validation and comfort. (Give her a hug pls) She’s used without it, so she wouldn’t do anything physically/aggressively to obtain it, but it’s eating her alive when she’s overthinking and doubting herself. Other than that, she knows she can obtain everything she wants by herself and just a bit of work.
37. What’s something that your character does, that other people don’t normally do?
I don’t think she does anything special that she does and others don’t... But she likes to carry Mokuba on her shoulders.
38. What would your character do with a million dollars?
Would make sure she doesn’t have to depend on anyone’s money, since she can’t stand being a burden to anyone, and would use the rest to make even more money, so one day, when she’ has a proper and constant living, she could help create animal shelters and donate to different charities.
39. What is in your characters refrigerator right now? On their bedroom floor? Nightstand? Garbage can?
Bubbly soda, water, chocolate and food in the fridge. A fluffy carpet on the floor and nothing else. Her laptop, a bottle of water and a bag of snacks. Fruit remains, empty snacks bags and other random useless things.
40. Your character is getting ready for a night out. Where are they going? What do they wear? Who will they be with?
She’s going on a calm walk on the shore, barefeet, with Seto, feet in water and letting the breeze mess up her hair even more. Kitsune’s wearing a soft coloured flowery patterned  dress that’s above the knee, it’s flowy and somehow transparent with an underskirt, and the sleeves are long and loose, all the paired with a pair of sneakers that she can easily take off, knowing she’s going to the beach.
41. What does your character do when they’re angry? Why?
It takes a LOT to make her to visibly show her anger, but she’s going to become extremely verbally aggressive, insulting, sarcastic, barely able to keep herself from getting physical.
42. Does your character have any scars? Where did they get them from?
Nope, she’s clean.
43. What was the most offensive thing your character had ever said?
“If I wanted to kill myself, I’d climb your ego and jump down to your IQ, that’s lower than your shoe size. In fact, it’s non-existent, much like my respect for you. Get the hell out of my sight, can’t you see nobody wants you here? You’re going to be missed like the leprosy.”
44. How does your character react/ accept criticism?
If it’s not actually an insult or a rude remark, she’ll listen and see what she can do with the advice, more more often than not, she still does whatever she thinks it’s right.
45. If your character was given a slice of pineapple pizza and they HAD to eat it (or something bad would happen), how would they react? Do they even LIKE pineapple pizza?
She never tried pineapple pizza, so she’s not sure how she’d react, but it’s just 1 slice, so it won’t kill her. She’s not a huge pineapple fan though.
46. Your character is given a voodoo doll of themselves. What do they do with it? Do they see if it actually works? She takes a needle and gently pokes her hand, and if it’s actually true, she’s gonna keep that doll a secret for safe-keeping, so nobody will ever be able to use it.
47. Can your character draw? What do they like to draw? Do they doodle?
She’s not THE best artist in the world, but she draws cute things like flowers from time to time to relax. As well as that, she draws flowery borders on her notebook pages.
48. What were their parents like? How has that affected how they are as an adult?
I already talked too much about her father, but her mother was a sweet and kind soul, and incredibly ambitious and playful and competitive, which is why she won countless gaming competitions. Her mother’s angelic soul and kindness was the way she wanted to grow to be, and whenever she gets angry, she gets reminded of her father and hates herself for doing something he does that she hates so much.
49. Does your character like candy? Do they get sugar rushes? What are they like when they get a rush?
She loves sweets, but she doesn’t feel the need to eat too many, especially at the same time, so she doesn’t get sugar rushes, nor does she get hyper.
50. If your character was presented with imminent and unavoidable death/fatality, how would they react? Would they try to avoid death anyways? Would they try to make their last days count?
She would cry a lot and would try anything in her power to alter her fate, but if it isn’t possible, she’ll try to spend as much quality time with Seto, Mokie and Yugi’s gang as possible.

ASSASSINS CREED
I haven’t gotten around to actually drawing anything for AC unfortunately, and I’m not sure I’ll ever get around to do it ^^”
---
1. What is your OC’s favorite color?
She loves Green and Blue, but the longer she stays in Masyaf, the more she misses the beautiful shade range of purple and lavender.
2. Does your OC collect anything? What do they collect?
In her time, she didn’t collect anything, but when she traveled back in time to Masyaf’s 1191 timeline, she started picking different flowers, pressing them in an empty tome that Malik gifted to her, and together with him, she would draw the flower on the other page, and write information about the plant in cause, with the help of her beloved Malik, both in her language and in his.
3. What kind of things is your OC allergic to?
As to quote a line from the Secret Crusade novel...
“Stupid Altair. Arrogant Altair. He was in trouble.”
4. What kind of clothing does your OC wear?
During her time, in the Japanese Brotherhood, as she is the Master Assassin of the Stealth branch, she wears mostly black, light clothes that allow her to sneak around, spy, snipe and blend in.
In Masyaf time, she had to wear the usual male Assassin outfit that literally engulfs her, which is really annoying as she can’t play to her strengths, so she has to fight quite a lot to get some practical adjustments to the outfit, and ones that won’t attract civilian nor templar unwanted attention.
5. What is your OC’s first memory?
Her elder brother singing this song to her : LULLABY
6. What’s your OC’s favorite animal? Least favorite?
She loves foxes so much. She knows she looks like one, and she uses everything to her advantage, and since she doesn’t actually remember her real name, she chose “Kitsune” as her assassin name.
Also, keep spiders away from her, or she’ll feel her soul leave her body in a split second.
7. What element would your OC be?
Fire. Without a speck of doubt. She’s a little, smug firecracker.
8. What is your OC’s theme song?
I think “Demons” by Starset works pretty well, as whilst she’s a strong person, she still has moments of weakness and needs someone by her side, before she loses control of herself and become someone she’d hate.
9. Do you have a faceclaim / voiceclaim for your OC?
Tumblr media
Same person as before. I don’t know who she is, but she’s my muse.
10. What deadly sin would best represent your OC?
I believe Pride is going to give her a looot of trouble.
11. What are your OC’s hobbies?
She loves ice skating, singing, dancing in the moonlight and chilling on the grassy ground, watching the clouds pass by.
12. How patient is your OC? How hot-headed are they?
This little firecracker is somewhere in the middle ground, because yes, she is definitely patient in a lot of circumstances, but Gods, when she gets angry or impatient, you can literally see fire around her.
13. What is your OC’s gender / sexuality / race / species / etc.?
Kitsune is a human girl who never thought of love, as she was married to her work as an assassin, but when she arrives in Masyaf, she falls in love with Malik Al’Sayf.
14. What foods does your OC like to eat? What are their least favorite foods?
Cherries! She loves fruits in general, but she LOVES to seductively eats strawberries or tie cherry steam knots! On the other hand, she won’t eat anything that looks weird or not aesthetic.
15. If your OC could have any pet, what would they choose? Why?
Give this girl a horse, she loves feeling the feeling of wind in her face as she feels the horse speeding up! It’s like she’s on a motorbike again, but a bit different!
16. What does your OC smell like?
Vanilla and Roses <3
17. How do they make a living? What kind of job do they want / not want? What is their dream job? What do they think of their current job?
Kitsune is the Master Assassin of the Japanese Brotherhood’s Stealth Branch, so it’s needless to say that she gets her pay from this.
18. What are your OC’s greatest fears? Weaknesses? Strengths?
She fears getting close to anyone, only to have them dying on her again, just like her parents and older brother. Her weaknesses are her physical strength, her fear of the unknown and the fear of failure. She is small, fast and agile, has an amazing sight and always does her job at perfection, thanks to her ruthlessness, and can easily seduce and manipulate people with words and a simple bat of her long lashes.
19. What kind of music do they listen to? Do they have a favorite song?
Give her the loudest rock music and the best trap and dubstep remixes, she loves the energy she gets from those kids of songs.
20. If they came from their world to ours (if not already in our’s) how would they react? What would they do?
She is from our world...Sort of, so she won’t have too much of a problem living her life at leisure.
21. What personal problems/issues do they have? Pet peeves?
She has a hard time straying from the rules or showing mercy because she’s been brought up by the Brotherhood since she was 7. Her parents died at such a young age (as they too were assassins) that she doesn’t remember them, and the man who took care of her, as per her parents’ death wish, died when she had to assist him on her first mission, at 12 years old, which was a chaos and he died saving her so she could make sure the mission was a success.
Her pet peeves are people getting too close to her when talking, breathing too loudly, children misbehaving and slow internet.
22. What kind of student were they/would they be in high school?
She didn’t actually go to a regular school, but was trained and taught by the brotherhood, where she was an incredibly perfectionist and diligent student.
23. What is a random fact about your OC?
She absolutely L O V E S to playfully flirt with people she likes, which makes Malik the one to endure all her flirting.
24. What is their outlook on life? What is their philosophy / what do they think in general about living?
She doesn’t care if she dies or not, as long as she’s happy. She’s an assassin, she’s been fearless for as long as she can remember.
25. What inspired you to create them / how did you create them? Were they originally a fan-character? What was their personality / design like when you first made them?
I love Malik, I want someone to flirt a lot with him, I flirt a lot with my friends, and hell, Kitsune, as I said, she basically myself with green eyes and maybe better make up skills.
26. Who is the most important person in their life? Why? Who is the least important to them that still has an impact and why?
The most important person in her life that is alive is Malik now, as her “Elder brother” died, and she never got personally close to anyone in the brotherhood, only professionally.
There’s nobody who really influences her negatively, apart from her own self and her perfectionism/over-thinking or the brotherhood creed.
You could say that, half-jokingly, her least favourite person is Altair because he’s a jerk who caused Malik to lose his arm and Kadar to die, but she forgives him when she sees true redemption in him.
27. What kind of childhood did your character have?
It was a pretty basic childhood, her elder brother taking care of her while studying and training for the brotherhood, and for her, that was normality so nothing was weird.
28. What kind of nervous habits do they have? Do they stim? Do they have any kinds of addictions?
She bites her lip very hard, until the point she draws blood, she cracks her knuckles a lot and she has a sort of internet addiction that went down the drain when she went back in time and realised her Brotherhood wouldn’t/couldn’t bring her back in her times.
29. If they could choose their epitaph for their grave, what would they choose?
I went down in the flames of success, so better throw my ashes in the Haunted Mansion from Disneyland Paris, or I’m gonna haunt everyone.
30. Do they want to get married? Why or why not? Would they ever want kids? Do they have kids? Why?
She’s an assassin, so she sees no reason to marry, or worse, have children, which she can’t stand. However, that doesn’t mean she wouldn’t want to to wear a pretty dress, have a nice hairstyle and make up and dance in the moonlight, alone, with Malik. It’s the closest she would get to a normal, domestic family.
31. What is their most traumatic memory/experience? What is their favorite memory?
Her brother dying in front of her, and him yelling for her to finish the mission and return to the Brotherhood, otherwise they’d kill her is a scene that still haunts her every nightmare.
On the other hand, her favourite memory is her brother singing to her that Lullaby, something which she took up and would sometimes sing to Malik, or would sneak out at night and sing while dancing by herself, trying to find a bit of freedom and sense of self.
32. If they could have one thing in the world, what would it be?
Her brother back...And maybe some fucking WiFi and electricity...And a bathtub...With bath bombs...And scented candles...
33. Would they ever kill someone? What would someone have to do to push them to kill someone? If they would kill someone, why?
She’s an assassin who struggles with showing mercy, need I say more?
34. What social groups and activities does your character attend? What role do they like to play? What role do they actually play, usually?
She’s the one who flirts and jokes a lot, I guess you could say she’s the popular girl stereotype?
In an RPG, she’d be the assassin, rogue or even warlock or necromancer, without a doubt.
35. How is your character’s imagination? Daydreaming a lot? Worried most of the time? Living in memories?
She doesn’t have too much time to day-dream, but now that she’s stuck in the past, she has more free time to do nothing but imagine random scenarios that would never happen.
Kitsune doesn’t live in the past or future, she lives in the moment...In a way that is borderline robotic and as if she tries to forget the fact that she’s human at all.
36. What does your character want most? What do they need really badly, compulsively? What are they willing to do, to sacrifice, to obtain?
She wants to find a life that won’t bind her to the Brotherhood in a way that she’d have to sacrifice everything for it. She wants a normal life that still has some of the assassin thrill, but not the risks...Keep the adrenaline though, she hates getting bored.
She doesn’t know yet what or how to achieve this utopia, but perhaps the fact that she’s in the past, with a Brotherhood that she’s not officially part of, might prove enough for her.
37. What’s something that your character does, that other people don’t normally do?
Does anyone flirt in Assassins Creed 1? Because if they don’t, Kitsune does A LOT.
38. What would your character do with a million dollars?
She’d take Malik with her and travel the world, exploring every inch of it, away from everybody she knows, and going to all theme and amusement parks.
39. What is in your characters refrigerator right now? On their bedroom floor? Nightstand? Garbage can?
Her laptop, phone and tablet on the nightstand, along with a water bottle and food. She has notebooks and ink and feathers on the ground next to her bed, since she’s usually too lazy to go to the table. There’s...No fridge in Masyaf, unfortunatelly...No more chocolate or ice cream... Lots of sketches and messed up scrolls in the trash.
40. Your character is getting ready for a night out. Where are they going? What do they wear? Who will they be with?
She’s so used to wearing either assassin or sexy clothes, that she chooses to wear something so simple and casual, like a pair of sneakers and a simple sundress, taking Malik on a walk at night, as during the day she wouldn’t really be able to dress as revealing, in public.
41. What does your character do when they’re angry? Why?
She tries to calm herself, but when she can’t help herself, she’d either go physically or verbally violent and harsh, depending on the gravity of the situation.
It doesn’t take long to piss her off, but it takes a LOT to actually get her to lose her temper.
42. Does your character have any scars? Where did they get them from?
She has a scar on the left side of her face, going from the forehead, to her eye and down to the middle of her cheek, because of the accident in Solomon’s Temple when she sneaked to get the artifact.
43. What was the most offensive thing your character had ever said?
“Tell me… Is being stupid a profession or are you just gifted? Why Don’t You Slip Into Something More Comfortable. Like A Coma? Wait, don’t worry, I can help with that. Whatever permission you thought you had to speak to me, I hereby remove. Honestly, did I ask you anything? No? Good, because nobody asked for your opinion, you filthy little mudblood.”
44. How does your character react/ accept criticism?
Can’t take it, especially if it’s not sugar coated or said in a gentle way, so she could understand it’s not an insult or an attack, but a suggestion.
She’d do whatever she wants regardless.
45. If your character was given a slice of pineapple pizza and they HAD to eat it (or something bad would happen), how would they react? Do they even LIKE pineapple pizza?
Pick up the pineapple slices, throw them at Altair’s face, then eat the pizza slice with no problem.
46. Your character is given a voodoo doll of themselves. What do they do with it? Do they see if it actually works?
Would keep it safer than her own heart and would try to track down whoever did the doll, in order to kill them. She doesn’t need potential killers on her case.
47. Can your character draw? What do they like to draw? Do they doodle?
She’s not too bad, but she likes drawings plants, animals and landscapes, which is why she likes to draw every plant she collects. On the other hand, she can’t doodle when absent-minded, she only taps the front of the pen on the table or paper.
48. What were their parents like? How has that affected how they are as an adult?
She didn’t really know them, as they died when she was too young, so they didn’t exactly affect her in any way. They weren’t bad people, despite being assassins, but as far as she heard around the Brotherhood, they were diligent, intelligent and reliable, so she was proud to be their daughter.
49. Does your character like candy? Do they get sugar rushes? What are they like when they get a rush?
She doesn’t get sugar rushes, nor does she eat too many sweets at once, but if she’s in a playful mood, she can get a bit more energetic than usual.
50. If your character was presented with imminent and unavoidable death/fatality, how would they react? Would they try to avoid death anyways? Would they try to make their last days count?
She’d try to see if it can be avoided, but if not, not a big deal for her. She’d just do the weirdest things possible and spend quality time with Malik and Altair, maybe even trying to make the Masyaf Brotherhood a better place, teaching them new healing methods and whatever...If she was in a good mood, at least.
