Kreta im Winter, mit leeren Stränden, freundlichen Menschen und vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Dazu die wunderschöne, grüne Insel!

Eine Woche Resturlaub gilt es auszufüllen und so suchen wir uns die Insel Kreta dafür aus. Ende November geht es los. Kreta im Winter. * Anreise Ab Mitte, Ende Oktober gibt es ab Deutschland keine Nonstop-Flüge mehr, also fliegen wir mit Aegean Airlines von Frankfurt via Athen nach Heraklion. Die Flüge sind sehr gut gebucht und nahezu voll. Das Umsteigen in Athen ist einfach und die gute Stunde…

A great place to make memories

I’ve been visiting this place since I met my husband over a decade ago. Coming from the Greek mainland myself, Crete -famous worldwide for its natural beauty, cultrural wealth and exquisite cuisine- always seemed to me like a wondrous place to visit; little did I know about Gournes, this little charming village by the sea close to Heraklion, the largest city on the island.
