I would also recommend drawing small pieces 1 and 2 on paper before cutting, as they are difficult to draw directly on cloth.

Method that owners use to name their pets.

Less than 4.5% of owners named their Pets based on Seasons of the year

Each season represents its special meaning. Some owners love to name their dogs based on the seasons and months which they were born such as spring, summer, autumn and winter. For example, babies who were born during spring season can be named Haru, in Japanese, ha ru は る) means spring. Some babies who are brought home by their owners in summer are directly named as summer. For babies born in the cold winter, they can be named as winter. 

From the above ideas, the following are some of the names which you may take into consideration:

Spring - Asher, Abril, Lily or Spring rolls

Summer - Sunny, Lia, Lilac or Summer ball

Autumn - Pablo, Raven, Mooncake or Cinnamon

Winter - Polar, Santa, Sparkle or Gabby

More than 55.2% of owners named their Pets based on Human Names 

Human names make great and meaningful names for dogs and puppies too. If your dog loves running, you may consider one of the suggested human names below to give him or her some cool attitudes.

Female dogs can be named as Anne, Anna, Angel, Alice, Lucy, Emily, Juliet, Amy, etc. Alternatively, the owner can use the characters from TV series as reference. Male dogs can be named as Jack, Nick, Mike, Peter, David, Henry, Irwin etc.

Less than 4.1% of owners named their Pets based on Foodie Name

Food naming method is also a very popular naming method. The pet owner can base on food names according to their pets’ fur colours or their own favourite food.

White fur – Tofu, Cauliflower, Onion, Garlic

Yellow-ish fur – Milk Tea, Coffee, Potato, Banana

Black fur - Cola, Sesame, Pepper, Seaweed

You can also call these little guys directly with your favourite snacks, such as pudding, buns, milkshake, noodle, cheese, cupcake, dumplings and other food. 

To our surprise, about 30.3% of owners named their Pets based on Numerology method

Pet owners can actually name their pets using numerology naming method, owners will count the number belonging to their pets by deriving it from the dates of birth of their pets, and put a name that matches the pet birthday so the pet will have the character they want to have. 

This can be done by finding the pet Life Path number, these Number can be obtained by adding the birthday numbers together until you get a single digit, for an example, a pet was born in November 14th, 2018, it would be = 1+1+1+4+2+0+1+8 = 18 = 1+8 = 9 …, So their Life Path is a “9”.

With the life path number, they will then decide what name to give so the number changes slightly to what they wanted. How to count a name with number so they add together to become single number. 

For an example EDDY, E= 5,D=4,D=4,Y= 25 =2+5=7

Birthday date + Name = 9+7=16 

The final digit would be, 1+6=7

Here you go ! Your best friend Life Path Number is a “7” .

Here are some of the attributes of the different Numbers :

Number 1, is a number that represents Self, and it brings a very independent character. If your pet has a name that reduces to “1”, you expect them to be more independent, this pet will probably be headstrong! Your best friend is going to do what it wants to, so be patient. They can make excellent guard dogs or protective animals. 

Number 2, this is a Number of Cooperation and Relationships. This is the pet that will be happiest sitting in your lap! They will also like company, other pets, and humans. They don’t do well alone for extended periods. They can be naturally shy, and will dislike fireworks and thunderstorms.

Number 3, this is a Number of Creativity and Communication. With humans, they are likely to be on stage and often have a good sense of humour. They are quite social, and hyperactive, they love to be out & about, meeting new humans and other pets.

Number 6, This is the Number of The Nurturer. Ideally suited to home and family, this is a very devoted and loving animal. They love affection and are quick to give it too. They love to sleep in bed with you and will love cozy warm places to snuggle in. These dogs also make for the best service animals and can be trained to help a human who has disabilities.

Number 9, This is a Number of The Philanthropist, Old Soul, Wisdom. They are Natural Leaders, but do not have a competitive streak, so not the best choice for a show animal. They are extremely sensitive. They know when you are hurting and when you are happy. They like a lot of physical contacts to assure that everything is alright.

Many young owners have their favourite cartoon characters, comic protagonists and so on. Hence, they can name their dogs by their favourite characters. For example, One Piece's Luffy, Qiaoba, Naruto, Kakashi, Doraemon etc.

About 2.9% of owners named their Pets based on Celebrity name

Pet owners do have their own favourite celebrities who they like and admire. Therefore, it’s pretty cool to name their pet according to the celebrity name, or the name of their fan club.

How to make your pets remember their name fast?

Giving a name to your pet is easy, but how do you want your pet to remember the name you gave or effect the change of name ASAP? We provide below some methods which you may adopt to make your pets remember their name.

1. Food temptation: After giving your dog a name, you need to patiently let him remember his name. One of the best ways is giving them food and treats!

He doubts Michelle’s been thinking of it herself, so he feels rather ridiculous whenever the memory of it crosses his mind. “Where are you going again?” Aunt May asks, taking Peter from his thoughts as he snaps back into reality. “I’m — meeting Michelle, we’re just. Going to get a drink, I think,” Peter explains, feeling Aunt may’s gaze on him as he does so. He swallows, unsure of what she’s going to say next but bracing himself for it anyways, exhaling slowly as he smoothes out his shirt. She brushes some hair out of his forehead, her touch gentle and careful, as it always is with Peter, before smoothing out the collar of his shirt. “It looks nice on you, Ben’s jacket,” she says finally after a small few moments of silence. Peter’s throat gets tight with the usual dull ache of grief in his chest at even hearing his name spoken in the stillness of the moment between the two of them. “Have fun with Michelle. Don’t stay out too late, alright?” she says after a moment, but Peter can still clearly see the tears that are unshed shining in her eyes. “I won’t,” Peter promises, leaning over to kiss her cheek quickly before making his way out the door. He has a series of texts from Ned, as is a normal occurrence, the last one in all caps reading: RU AND MICHELLE PRETENDING TO BE A COUPLE AT THE COUPLES THING AT THE BAR ???? which makes Peter wonder who told Ned that they were doing that. He hadn’t told anyone, and he assumes Michelle didn’t — though he supposes he could be wrong about that. He sends Ned a reply that he’ll call him tonight, then sending one to Michelle, telling her he’s on his way. The place is pretty full when they get there, being instructed to sit at a table near the back, and Peter follows to a small table with two seats beside one another as he sits down next to Michelle now. All the other couples are chatting, sitting close and holding hands as Peter debates for about half a second if he should do anything, but he figures if they need to sell they’re a couple, he can do that, can’t he? He puts a gentle arm over her shoulders, the pads of his fingertips brushing against her arm in lazy, slow movements as Peter leans over, taking in a deep breath and murmuring, “is this alright?” as he presses a kiss to her temple before slowly pulling back, reading the sheet left on the table for them to read. Pretending, briefly, at this same bar a few weeks ago to be together hadn’t been at all difficult for Peter, and judging by how Michelle had kissed him back — he assumes not for her, either. But a part of him worries, panicked and unsure because what if she just thinks he’s playing a part now, to go along with all of this? The idea of telling Michelle how he really feels is absolutely terrifying to him, unsure if she’d even believe him. They’ve been through so much, and losing Gwen — that was a big part of that, and Michelle had been there when Peter had needed her; Michelle’s always been there, a lighthouse that’s ever present in times of trouble in Peter’s life, shining bright, almost as bright as the sun. He knows, after kissing her, just how deep his feelings for her run. He wishes so badly Uncle Ben were here, to try and piece together all the different emotions going through Peter — the grief and pain of missing Gwen, but also the terrifying feeling of being in love with someone else, and not knowing if they’re ever going to love you back. Ever since that night where they’d kissed, Peter finds himself wondering what things would look like if he’d just told Michelle how he felt before he’d started dating Gwen, what his life would look like now. He knows he shouldn’t be dwelling in the past, but a large part of him is constantly curious — creating an alternate reality in his head of what it would look like, what the two of them together would have looked like. And Peter likes it, the world he’s so easily able to construct around him and Michelle being together. Because he knows how easy it would be, if they were together. It feels as if they’re tip toeing on their friendship now, having kissed and treaded that line between the two of them. The line that’s always been there, unspoken but never once crossed, until that night. Peter remembers how soft and warm her lips had been, pressed against his own — how he finds himself staring up at the ceiling in his bedroom, wishing and hoping that somehow, someway, it could happen again. There’s no easy way to ask your best friend if you can kiss them, so Peter doubts that even tonight it’ll happen, but a small part of him is holding out hope. The way she’d kissed him back, though, it makes Peter wonder. Does she feel the same way about him? There was something in the way their bodies pressed together, something so real about it, since they were merely putting on a show but it wasn’t just for show. Not for Peter, anyway. When he looks up from the drink menu, Peter catches another man’s eyes wandering over Michelle’s figure as he clears his throat, turning his attention and his focus back to Michelle and ignore the burning jealousy in his stomach, considering the man currently checking her out is with who Peter assumes would be his girlfriend. “Do you want anything?” Peter asks quietly after a moment, motioning to the drink menu as he keeps his eyes on Michelle, holding back the urge to lean over and kiss her cheek, though his knee does brush against her own, maintaining the contact there now lightly. “It’ll be on me. When we win you can get me something,” Peter adds teasingly, trying to lighten what he feels to be some slight tension between the two of them now. He can feel the panic and worry starting to set in now, unsure if this is all a bad idea and is going to upset Michelle — Peter’s eyes trace her face, trying to find any sort of reassurance in her gaze, to tell him that she isn’t going to want him out of her life, after seeing what they could’ve been, small glimpses of the two of them together. Why can’t he be in love with two people? Why does that notion seem so odd to him? He loved Gwen, and he loves Michelle — it’s as simple as that. But Peter doesn’t say any of these thoughts in his head as he leans back against his chair, the nerves settling under his skin as he does.
