THINGS WE FVCK WITH : CROSS PROCESSING
Cross Processing is an old trick where you develop film in an alternative chemical solution that is formulated for another film type ie. processing slide film (e6) in negative film chemicals (c41). Usually, it provides a unique look with plenty of unpredictable elements making it a bit nerve racking but worthwhile in most cases.
The above photos of Stephan, Seb and Deigo were shot on an old broken Yashica T4 with Fuji Color Slide film and developed at the local 1-hr (C41) lab.

Bruno's Motel, Gerlach, Nevada. I shot this early one morning when I was jet lagged. I laid down flat on the road. It was shot on slide film (E6) and processed through a negative processing machine (C41) better known as cross processing. It gives you lovely warm and contrasty colours. Also sharper than standard neg film as well. This is a 20 x 16 inches gloss print going off to a new home. This image was on show at a recent exhibition I was in called Eclectica through @ckbgallery and @themotelcollection 🤟 #shotonfilm #printing #photographicprints #lensculture #crossprocess #myfeatureshoot #visualauthority #nowheredairy #artofvisuals #colourphotography #lensculture #shotonfilm #b8zine #photocinematic #photographyislife #ifyouleavestagram #travelmcqueen #somewheremagazine #vsco #quietthechaos #noticemag #broadmag #pellicolamag #apricotmagazine #wyattclarkejones (at Bruno's Country Club) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_fxsymA7Iq/?igshid=1gh2n2lbdx9m4

studiobaby: #tbt #ewanmcgregor Throwing this right back, 2001, to when #Ewan and I liked to style his shirts to match the curtains and pretend we were shooting a 1970’s perfume ad! Also note the cross processed film, it was a phase I went through, E6 through C41, always gave me vibrant reds and high contrast. #sarahdunnphotography #filmisnotdead #hasselblad #nofilter #noretouch

The sign says: look for strange faces in unlikely places. Another c41->e6 cross process. I think the previous one was underexposed; in this one the orange cast is much more subtle. Swipe to see the colour corrected one for comparison. https://www.instagram.com/p/B8zUP8mBRiD/?igshid=12wogvwa964bt
