Hiiii I know it's been some months and that's mostly a double whammy of losing fixation on this + physical capabilities + guilt of not working on it leading me to procrastinate and also not upload anything at all here because my goodness I gained a lot of followers for this when this is actually my art dump blog. So what I'm gonna do is I'm just gonna post what makes me happy and perhaps for fun do the other comics for this au I got rattling in my brain.

oh my gosh im in a taz balance re-listen and currently at the crystal kingdom post-debrief confab in the Director’s office and i am losing my shit

Lucretia: What have I done to lose your trust?

Magnus: Director, everything up to this point has taught us to not trust anybody. We haven’t been getting all the information, and I think you would agree that’s true.

Lucretia: I have told—

Magnus, interrupting: If you want us to trust you, we need to know everything you know about the hooded figures.

Lucretia: I don’t know about the hooded figures. But if you want to know whether or not you can trust me, I—I have no reason to—

Lucretia: *proceeds to show the Bois the relics’ history of destruction*

Lucretia: I swear to you. I am trying to stop this from happening. And we’re over halfway done! But if you give up now, if you stop trusting me now, we’ve already lost. I need to know, are you with me or are you against me?

Like, Lucretia has lost the trust of all six of the others, and even when they don’t remember, when they could be trusting her again, they don’t? That must just be devastating for her. Yet she immediately proceeds to make her case to them all over again which was her whole mission in the first place.

I still have moments on re-listens that surprise me, and I love the experience of watching something for another time when whole parts of the story are recontextualized!

I say “wrote” because the lyrics are the prophecy and then the second half is simply a cover of the Crystal Kingdom verses + a final one I added

My taz balance relisten is going strong and good lord!! You can tell that the planning started in Crystal kingdom.

Like it didn’t really occur to me when I first listened just how apparent it is. But going through, knowing how it ends. Yeah. Here’s where stuff got real.

Side note: Lucas goes ‘you guys reference the plane of thought (pretty much earth) so much I feel like you must have spent some time there’

Did they??? I don’t remember if that’s actually in the stolen century or not. I don’t think it is, so it very well could just be one of the years that doesn’t get mentioned.

Some watercolor marker TAZ bookmarks I made a long while ago. I realized I never posted them on here.
