CHiRAL BEST Nitro+CHiRAL 10th Anniversary (2015)

I was just about over the moon to pick up a sealed (!) copy of this set earlier this year, so I'm happy to finally be able to share it with you all. While it doesn't have every song, it does contain a good selection from the soundtracks for TnC, Lamento, sweet pool, DMMd, & re:code. My fave bit might be Disc 3, which includes Japanese versions of a few of the songs that were originally sung in English!

chiral night rhythm carnival song visualizer ranking because now that ive played all the main chiral titles i can fully appreciate them and dislike others

i dont blame dmmds visualizers like idk when they were made in relation to each other but theres a lot of songs to make visualizers for so i understand them being more simple

but also because of 1) how dmmds songs are 2) its scale

dmmd has songs for each character so they cant use cgs from across the game like how togainu does it. togainus songs are for ending TYPES not specific characters meanjng they have access to almost every cg when dmmd has to keep it to one character like you cant use a noiz cg in Tears yknow

sweet pools visualizers are so good because of how small sweet pool is in every way. its cast is small, its a short game, its world is small meaning they can put their effort into portraying characters emotions and the tone of the story more. with dmmd you'd have to portray all the things like scrap, rhyme, platinum jail, the tech etc and thats a lot more and a lot harder

i put curriculumachine higher up even when its only effects are shaky cam and strobe lights because it fits the energy so well

what separates it from just feeling like a cg slideshow is that it matchrs up with the music and keeps the energy which is important for me

other things, ai catch is so low because 70% of it is just the ai catch op vid and the original stuff is bad whereas i put cosmocall field higher because while a good amount of it is the original cosmocall field vid the original stuff feels like thwres more effort put in + overall feels natural

the "funny as shite" tier is because some of the cg transition are really funny

id maybe put holo ghost higher but them running out of cgs is very funny

all of them serve their purpose as visualizer like they arwnt meant to be full music videos, theyre just there to be put on in the background, so they all work but i love seeing the songs i love be presented like this and when they really encapsulate the feelings behind them i think its something to appreciate

Continuing the TnC ask... Hope you don't mind, please don't reply if you do! I will understand. Yes to Grind, I head-bang(internally) whenever it starts playing. Same with curriculumachine too. My favourite has got to be STILL. It brings me back to the game... It was just officially translated/localised by JASTBlue by the way!

THE CHiRAL NIGHT -meets sweet pool- Live at Akasaka BLITZ [2009.03.14]

Today marks the 15th (!) anniversary of this event, so I figure it's the perfect day to post it. Though sweet pool is in the title, there's a lot of fun Togainu no Chi & Lamento content in this one. I'm a big fan of the live reading segments with some of the voice actors! THE CHiRAL NIGHT events are always so enjoyable for me to watch, so I hope you like it too.

THE CHiRAL NIGHT -Dive into DMMd- Live at Tokyo Dome City Hall 2013

In honor of the 10th anniversary of this event, I decided to embark on a personal project to archive it & share it with fellow fans. This year also marks my own 10th anniversary — I first played a fan translation of DMMd in 2013 & found myself immediately connected with its music. This truly was a labor of love to undertake, but I’m happy that I can celebrate this milestone with you all.
