“So perhaps all of us worked harder to get where you are, but whatever work you actually put into it, is all yours, YN” you feel a whine ripped from your throat at that “Y/N, you know, the only reason I’m your friend, over the bunch of other rich kids at our school is because you are actually aware of the privilege you’ve got, and that speaks volumes about you deserving such an opportunity. Waktu yang lama ini bakal digunakan si developer buat merancang taktik ke depan, misalnya nambah fitur ga kesusahan, meminimalisir memory leak, atau menghindari bad practice, ya emang ga semua berhasil, sih. Seringnya hal begini malah jadi soft block, alias penghambat ngerjain fitur atau bugfix sesungguhnya. Codebase hand off ke developer lain juga bakal lebih sulit kalo belum ada starting point nya apalagi karena hal tak terduga, contohnya aja karena nyamuk yang kebetulan ngisap darahmu waktu riset bawa virus. Damn you mosquito!

Tapi riset bukan berarti ga penting, loh. Kebebasan buat milih framework udah dihilangkan, kebebasan milih library masih (dengan catatan ga boleh bikin aplikasi tambah berat), jadi semua yang dilakukan harus dalam standar yang sekarang udah ga bisa digeser seenaknya. Developer beda sama engineer, mereka kerja di standar tertentu yang lebih fleksibel (intinya kerja bakal selesai dalam batasan-batasan yang bisa didobrak, tentu dengan tujuan efisiensi dan efektifitas). Engineer, khusus start a project mereka punya kebebasan milih penyelesaian masalah dengan framework apapun, library apapun, asal masalahnya resolve. Dia ga terbatas waktu per task, emang ga kecil biasanya masalah yang dikasih ke engineer ini, jadi estimasi lebih ke masalah terselesaikan daripada tugas-tugas kecil yang dipecah dari keseluruhan masalah. Dia lebih banyak pilihan singkatnya.

Aku mikir, sebagai manusia kita berkarya terbatas pada ruang gerak itu bakal standar aja hasilnya, jadi lebih manusiawi kalo kita punya banyak pilihan. Tapi developer dan engineer tadi bukan sekadar job title, di luar sana beneran ada. Pembagian kerja seperti itu nyata, engineer dibawahi scrum master, melacak progress dari setiap masalah yang sedang dikerjakan, developer dibawahi project manager yang membagi tugas dan menilai beban tugas. Programmer adalah tukang ketik, menerjemahkan kebutuhan user menjadi kode yang bisa berjalan di mesin.

Since QCad CE was built around the outdated Qt3 library, it had to be ported to Qt4 before additional enhancements. This gave rise to CADuntu.

The project was known as CADuntu only for a couple of months before the community decided that the name was inappropriate. After some discussion within the community and research on existing names, CADuntu was renamed to LibreCAD.

Porting the rendering engine to Qt4 proved to be a large task, so LibreCAD initially still depended on the Qt3 support library. The Qt4 porting was completed eventually during the development of 2.0.0 series, thanks to our master developer Rallaz, and LibreCAD has become Qt3 free except in the 1.0.0 series.

This thesis indicates out-of-school learning spaces to address the limitations of traditional, in-school, and formal learning contexts. These spaces aim to foster voluntary engagement from people of all ages and backgrounds, with no restrictions. The fundamental goal of this research is to create non-traditional and flexible learning environments that foster creativity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. By combining non-formal and informal learning methodologies, these after-school learning spaces will offer individuals the knowledge and skills needed to flourish in today’s rapidly changing world.

Despite considerable changes in the education system throughout time, the dominant teacher-centred paradigm persists, encouraging conformity rather than individual interests. The proposed out-of-school learning spaces would provide individuals with a varied range of learning opportunities adapted to their specific needs and interests by merging non-formal and informal learning approaches. Furthermore, sustainable materials and construction practices will be employed to create environmentally responsible and efficient learning spaces. Community centres will function as vital hubs for these after-school learning environments, assuring accessibility for economically disadvantaged populations and encouraging community involvement.

This thesis aims to develop an integrated approach to lifetime learning that recognizes the value of both formal and informal education. Hola! Apakabar semua semoga baik-baik saja

Mau ngelist things to be grateful lagi karena ADA BANYAK BGT YAAMPUN betul-betul heran Allah baik banget padahal jujur sekarang solat Subuh tu beratnya minta ampun padahal ya udah 03.51 sih nggak early-early amat hmmm. Anyway, so.... mau bersyukur atas:

1. Masih agak relax pace kerja belakangan ini karena (masih berhubungan sama pos sebelumnya) orang-orang lagi pada away. Palingan lagi rada rempong aja ni ngurusin berkas-berkas persyaratan dari cpui ke pui, mana salah satunya harus pake surat sehat dari RS tipe B yakaliii di sini di maneeeee??? huf. sama kepentok di first writer jurnal nasional juga haduu, baru masih ngedraft manuscriptnya blom disubmit... ada2 aje

2. Kemarin habis trip dari Bath dan Bristol! Kali ini perginya sama Mas Indra, Dini, Carina, dan Leon terus so fun senang. Pagi-pagi ke Castle Combe dulu (ini semacam desa kecil gitu ada 1 small river flowing with a bridge) merupakan tempat shooting filmnya Steven Spielberg "Warhorse", dan Stardust. The village is very pretty! And then we continue out trip to Bath (which is also a very beautiful -and surprisingly big- city). They have HMV there! Tapi ga jajan banyak karena udah abis uang w buat trip Scotland dan trip Bath ini kemarin. Untungnya tapi tadi pagi ngecek email udah ada invoice dari HSBC duit Jardine bakal masuk sih yang September HEHE Alhamdulillah rejeki anak solehah. Kemarin tapi di Manchester udah beli poster, mug, sama gantungan RJ juga di HMV jadi sepertinya belanjanya di-pause dulu. Terus di Bath kita masuk ke Roman Bath (which is quite expensive tapi b aj, tapi ya senang lah ya, at least kalau ditanya udah pernah ke sana apa belum jadi bisa jawab udah). Terus makan di Chinese restaurant! Yang sangat enak mapo tahunya HUHU I think mapo tahu ini adalah highlight of the trip deh. Abis dari Roman Bath, we hang out a bit di park gitu sambil makan eskrim, dan scone + tea. Lanjut foto-foto di Crescent Bath, nyari owls kata Kalina ada owls tapi sepertinya sudah di-take down in 2018 :( sad. Terus dari situ tadinya kita mau ke Dorset, ke Durdle Door, tapi ternyata waktunya ga cukup karena cukup jauh dan berakhir ke Bristol. Lihat suspension bridgenya (WHICH IS VERY COOL!) -- I am really interested in human-made construction & engineering + rocks. Lalu ke citynya kita makan di Korean Restaurant - which tastes okay. Lalu jalan-jalan nyari Banksy and foto-foto depan Uni of Bristol's cathedral(?) or museum itulah. Lalu pulang deeeh. Sampai Oxf jam 22pm lalu langsung tidur.

3. Kemarin Sabtu acara Indonesia in Oxfordnya lancar! Di-pos sama akun embassy di IG, you can find it here. Hujan sih for half of the event :( so sad tapi sangat amat bersyukur dan berterima kasih pokoknya sama Archu (she's an Indian who plays badminton with us, and I asked her to be the MC of the day and she said yes!), Bu Yani (the mastermind of all, sampe menelantarkan anak-anaknya -Nadia yang cerita lol, anyway Nadia ini army juga ternyata dan dia kemarin nonton Wembley 2019!! NANGIS BGT GAKSI T_T), Leon, Kevin, semua panitia pokoknya, Pak Peter Smith! yang ngajarin aku main kenong + passionately keep performing the Gamekan in the middle of the heavy rain (kayanya akan gabung ke tim beliau, I think I should go back to be near musical instruments...). Terus randomly, beres acara, ketemu sama Bu Rosi Meilani di Turl st, dia WNI tinggal di Luton, terus punya channel youtube gitu. Katanya sih dulu doi kerjanya sama Net TV. Jadi si Bu Rosi ini pengen ke toilet tapi acaranya dah beres jadi si tourist information center (tempat beskemnya panitia acara) udah dikunci, akhirnya w ajak aja masuk Exeter college kan buat pipis. E terus jadinya malah diajak interview wkwkwk di Fellow Garden di atas ngobrol-ngobrol lumayan lama dan w ajak masuk chapel juga. Abis itu doi sama suaminya kayanya masih mau explore Oxford dan ku sendiri sudah capek banget (BARU 2 HARI SETELAH 2ND JAB JUGA!) jadi ku pamit undur diri. Sialnya malamnya susah tidur, baru tidur jam 1 apa ya, padahal besok paginya harus sudah siap-siap jam 7.15 am dijemput Mas Indra buat trip ke Bath itu. Sedih banget tapi, sebetulnya malamnya ada acara perpisahan Sergine. Sergine ini teman 1 flatnya Arthur di Wolfson terus suka main ke rumah buat dinner. She's finished her master programme and will leave Oxford for good. She'll be back in November though for the graduation so I hope I can see her then. Aslinya pas ku sampai rumah dari acara Broad st ini Kalina masih siap-siap buat acara Sergine but I can't come karena betul-betul sudah tepar gakuat. 4. Beberapa hari yang lalu juga (apa minggu lalu ya) telponan random banget sama Noumi sampe 2 jam LOLs. Ngebahas tips n trick belajar. Berat ya pasti hidupnya ambil kedokteran di Jerman. Kemarin juga sempat chat apa gitu sama Abi tapi hilang ga kulanjutin. Suka gitu dah belakangan ini chat sama orang terus berhenti aja tiba-tiba lols. Mungkin memang seperti itulah hidup.

5. Satu lagi, akan datang abon ke Oxford! Karena Alris bakal ke sini in 3 days(?) dan bawa titipanku. So happy. Kemarin tapi juga ini barang-barangnya Alris banyak bener sih yang dititipin di tempat w dari Indah (panci-panci, kipas angin, sepedah) jadi yaudah biarin aja Alris dititipin yang banyak. Si Papa sampai ke Jakarta lho di tengah-tengah PPKM untuk mengantar abon, imagine, sayang banget gaksi sama Papa....

Yaudah sepertinya itu dulu saja untuk hari ini karena ku harus bekerja. Ciao!

What’s up everybody? Been quite a while since I open my tumblr. A lot has been doing on ever since; and to sum them all up, the highlight is maybe this latest significant event: scholarship. I have been endeavouring and spending most of my time in the first half of 2017 looking for scholarship. As the result, email is becoming a very important thing. Every email notification in my phone is making me nervous. I made the Gmail app ring in a specific tune, so when I heard that particular tune, I know that an email is coming.

Alhamdulillah, earlier in July, I received a thrilling news. The government of the Netherlands, through the Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP) and Wageningen University & Research notify me that my application is accepted. I am going to the Netherlands! Whoa! Never in my mind I imagined that I will be going this soon. It feels like ages since I graduated from ITB, a lot has been going ever since. A lot. But if I look back, it is actually less than a year. Only two years ago, I only thought about working in Jakarta to work in an office, but somehow life is taking me the other way..and here I am.

Pursuing a master degree in Europe has always been my dream since I was a kid. It is now only 20 days until my departure. As excited as I could be, one ‘sad’ thing is that I am going to leave my parents behind, at least for two years. As the only child in the family, it is quite a big deal. The first few weeks might be tough; but I am sure that I will adjust pretty well, considering my previous “merantau” experience when I was having an internship for three months in Jakarta.

I am confident with my journey that I am going to explore. By the end..

Usahlah kau pertanyakan kemana kakinya kan melangkah Kita berdua tahu, dia pasti Pulang ke rumah..

Latih Mental dan Skill Berbicara Santri, OSDN Adakan Webinar Menjadi MC yang Menarik

Di kesempatan kali ini, Organisasi Santri Darunnajah mengadakan seminar tentang “Cara Menjadi MC yang Baik”. Seminar diadakan secara online pada tanggal 20 Juli 2020 dengan aplikasi zoom. Salah satu manfaat seseorang jika menjadi Master Of Ceremony (MC) atau pembawa acara adalah dapat lebih percaya diri untuk tampil di depan orang banyak.

Tak hanya itu, dengan menjadi seorang pembawa berita atau MC, kita juga melatih diri untuk dapat berbicara yang sopan dan berwibawa. Kegiatan ini di adakan oleh Bagian Informasi Organisasi Santri Darunnajah yang dihadiri oleh seluruh santriwati kelas 1 hingga 6 dan int TMI Darunnajah yang berjumlah 298 santriwati.

Pembicara dengan topik “Cara Menjadi MC yang Baik” ini dibawakan oleh Kak Iffa Azkia Adilla, dia adalah alumni Pondok Pesantren Darunnjah (2015) angkatan 38 yang banyak menuai prestasi selama belajar di Darunnajah.

Semasa di Darunnajah Kak Iffa pernah menjabat sebagai Bagian Darunnajah Marching Band masa bhakti 2014-2015 yang sering menjadi MC pada acara-acara pondok seperti saat acara Haflatutakhruj. Sekarang kak Iffa menempuh pendididkan di master’s programme in Notary Studies-Universitas Indonesia, Kak Iffa sendiri sudah mendapat serifikat Duta Promosi Universitas Indonesia 2018.

Seperti dalam seminarnya, kak Iffa menjelaskan apa itu arti dasar dari seorang Master of Ceremony, ia juga menjelaskan berbagai jenis intonasi nada Ketika menjadi MC, serta mengajarkan kepada seluruh santriwati tentang kekurangan dan kelebihan dari diri kita jika menjadi seorang MC.

Selain itu, Kak Iffa juga menjelaskan tentang tugas dan tanggung jawab seorang MC disaat acara berlangsung, dan tidak lupa beberapa tips-tips agar kita tidak “demam panggung” saat menjadi MC suatu acara.

Ohxalá - Ovoavoa by Casa Caos Ohxalá is the musical project of a Portuguese duo: Maria & Luís. Maria works as a printing technician in a photo lab and Luís works as a website programmer moreover both devote much of their non-working hours to music and photography. From this dedicated and parallel passion started the will to make it alive somehow and, consequently,it had been growing faster particularly since the recent adventure of the duo in Germany in 2016. Such a journey is the starting point of this plot. On his return to the Portuguese lands, eager for information; an effervescent and inspiring will to investigate and absorb settled in the duo. They are in need of a call to go through other times, other peoples; which have completely overwhelmed them. The name Ohxalá comes from the Arabic expression “ 'in sha' allh ”, whose meaning is “God willing”, which is used as interjection to express the desire for something to happen. Nevertheless, it is also a reference to the father Oxalá, orixa associated with the creation of the world and of the humankind. Maria and Luís make distinguished use of African-born religions' "imaginarium" as a basis for inspiration in the elements of their music. This thesis aims to improve the teaching and learning experience for visually impaired individuals by designing inclusive educational spaces that reduce segregation and increase accessibility. Through research and analysis of existing case references, the study highlights the importance and need for inclusive design in the context of visual impairment. The study also examines the issues related to inclusive design and the specific accessibility and orientation criteria that should

be considered when designing educational spaces for visually impaired individuals. The final design proposal is based on the findings and recommendations of the study and aims to provide a model for inclusive educational spaces. Overall, this thesis emphasizes the importance of inclusive educational spaces and provides a framework for creating accessible and empowering environments for people with visual disabilities.
