Exploring the Benefits of Midbrain Activation

5 Time Management Tips For Students
Today I want to discuss the crucial subject of Time management. I call it crucial because I know that most of the students genuinely do not get free time. I moreover think that student’s life is worse than that of the parents working in MNCs. Students are busier than them. Hence Time management is very important.

1) If your child is a toddler and yet to take admission in the school,  I will always recommend to choose a school nearer to your home as I have observed that most of the time is wasted in travelling.
2) Students and parents should analyse the time wasted by the children in gossiping, chatting, mobile phones and excessive use of T.V This is a real waste of time called as passive entertainment. However, reading books, attending a hobby class, watching a T.V for entertainment for half an hour is considered as an active entertainment.
3) Time wasted in passive entertainment needs to be rectified and must be used appropriately.However, time invested in active entertainment will gear up the students for the study.
4) Also students invest lot of time to do self study. Completion of books/Copy writing can never be counted in self study. Hence, I suggest that students should manage their time for both but prioritise self study as it will lead to strengthen the foundation of knowledge and improve the performance.
5) Never keep your self study time immediate after the school or class. Your brain will not be ready immediately to absorb the knowledge. So you need to rest before you start fresh. The rest can be a hobby class, entertainment, playing etc.
How to manage the time?I would like to discuss the case study of my student here. He was in 8th SSC last year. I had given him the similar technique of study that I mentioned in my first post. He used to go to the school from 7 am to 1.40 pm. He returned home by 2pm. I told him to relax from 2 to 4 pm. (A short nap as he used to get up early, watching T.V and playing).4.30 to 6 pm he had his tuition. I again gave him 1 hour for relaxation. At 7 pm he used to start his self study and would do it by 9pm. Then he had his dinner with his parents. After that 10 to 11pm he used to complete his books. (Purposefully the book completion which involves writing is kept at night where brain just needs to do copy writing.)This is just an example. The schedule was made considering the comfort zone of the student. 
However, if the child’s comfort is taken into consideration, you can definitely plan a schedule where the child will surely get the time for self study. Also, the child will happily follow it as all his activities is also considered in this schedule. Banning the hobbies, putting extra restrictions on the child can never fetch the success. 
On contrary, it will make the child negative towards the study. Such schedules make the process easier for the child to adapt. Gradually this becomes their habit and becomes easier in the higher standards. Hope this works out for all Parents. Please let me know about the feedback. Another weird concept!
Caitlyn going with her mother or father on a trip into the Undercity, Topside doesn't like to dmit how much they rely on the Undercity but sometimes you can't help but go on a business trip there.
A well guarded one.
Naturally, her family deals with Vander, he has a reputation, he's reliable and he's not a cruel adist so you won't find better. And while the adults are talking, young teenage Caitlyn see's Vi and the gang lounging in the back and goes to say hello. Normally she's quite outgoing but these rough and tumble children regard her coldly at first.
Until Vi pulls up a chair and tells 'Cupcake Girl' she can sit with them.
They might all go to the Arcade later when the adults aren't looking.

Born Ulysses Davenport, donning half a dozen names across his life but for the most part; favoring the alias ‘Finch’ . For himself. When addressed by others, it’s more a name to him than any other. Which some say makes perfect sense, after all; he’s a shifter that specializes in avian forms. While his past is largely unknown to most, he was born the oldest of five children to a pair of self-titled entrepreneurs. More of a tool than a child, Finch’s first form nurtured with precision and care was that of a Pomeranian. A secret which he vows to take to his grave. A popular breed with those from all walks of life, but most noticeably…the wealthy.  Adorable, fluffy, fur as white as snow with baby blue eyes. Commonly sold time and time again more as an accessory than a pet (loathe as he to admit the times he was as a pet were more warm than any moment with his own flesh and blood). As the foot in the door, to observe and judge; make note of what lay within–it was a con he did so often he could do it in his sleep. His parents would descend and strip the homes of all their worth, and even abscond with the darling puppy itself time and time again. Eventually he learned other animal shapes, always the popular sort and by the time he reached his teen years (joined by several young siblings) he’d mastered three more shapes in the forms of more designer, rare and exotic pets for the 1%. The faces behind the con were posted in the form of a sketched portrait from former victims and passing acquaintances. For all the wealth and luxury they accumulated, they themselves lived in a simple home crammed to the brim with pilfered goods. A hoarder’s wet dream. A reward was offered, and at sixteen and the eldest of the Davenport brood; it was just enough to be worth turning on his parents.
‘But what of the bonds of blood?’ he had no such qualms, they were hardly a family–merely a well oiled machine. Designed to do one thing from day one, why his parents were so shocked that he turned on them; was beyond him. It’s what he’d been groomed to do. From there on one would think he’d try and strike out on his own, on a path towards a better and brighter future. His younger siblings drifted, attending various therapy groups before being funneled into the system–he was no different. But, he held no desire to remain under anyone else’s thumb; age be damned. At the earliest opportunity, he struck out on his own heedless of being a minor in a grown man’s world. He utilized the sparse contacts his parents had had, mostly to fence the odd item or so; and buried himself deep. Over the years, he became an esteemed criminal; primarily an information broker over some of the more heinous acts of cruelty, but he had a finger in every pie worth sampling. Finch earned himself a place on the FBI’s most wanted list, something he held close to heart with a form of pride. He had a close nest of fellow shifters he passed his tricks onto while they worked under him, favoring various avian forms, rodents, and the odd insect as well to listen; to observe and steal away secrets. Secrets that allowed him to cripple a criminal empire. Oops. He’d gotten in bed with a vampire both literally and figuratively. Though he preferred the literal aspect of their relationship, he was a creature of nature. The man was the head of a smuggling business that operated out of Europe and spanned the entire globe. The kind of operation that had been going on for decades, if not centuries; birthed from the golden age of piracy. 
And Finch up and destroyed a whopping sixty percent of it overnight. His fanged (ex) lover didn’t take kindly to this once the cat was out of the bag, caught with his hand in the cookie jar on board one of the vast shipping freighters. Finch endured a week of torture; the kind of nightmare stuff only someone who lived forever could come up with. He got lucky. Taking the form of an albatross he took to the waves figuring a death at sea was a kinder end than one of the many that awaited him deep in the bowels of a ship. Maybe it was the fear, maybe it was the pain; either way he managed to make it to land where he fell into a period of cat and mouse. Never before had he imagined himself in the role of a mouse (without some delicious cheddar coated secrets to peak his interest of course) and after one too many close calls over the span of several months he bit the bullet and went off the deep end. Domesticity. A new life. Lethe. The entrance interview was unlike any other, the lich representative seated shooting down every web he tried to spin. And so, he came clean. Admitted he’d not have come to their gates if he had any other choice, hung his head heavy in shame–grit his teeth to swallow the bitter pill. All he asked from them was a chance, a chance to live a new life–as if he hadn’t already lived nine, ten, twenty before. That was what the haven was all about wasn’t it? They allowed him to call it home, it was supposed to be temporary. But something wicked did lurk beyond the town’s borders and temporary…turned to three years.
Most aliases he favored involved associating with avian wordplay. He opted for Gilroy Twain. Terribly mundane. Just like him. More often, he goes by Gil; or simply Twain (no longer Finch) and he works as an event planner. Hell of a job change. He likes it, planning things; good and bad. Not every event was a celebration and while he’s been around the rodeo once or thrice prior–he’s never been so entrenched somewhere with such a  hefty supernatural population. He’s got something of a routine, he’s a regular at the Ground Up cafe where he orders the same thing every day. Treating himself prior meant extravagant vacations and designer clothes, now it’s a chocolate croissant once a week. He attends tai chi sessions multiple times a week at the local park, yoga sessions at the community center; he’s got a phone for business and a phone that’s never been so dry, for pleasure. The Everyman’s Event Planning is a very, very small business run out of the office space under his apartment. He works long days, can commonly be seen flitting about town always on the go. He keeps in a positive light with varying businesses across town to secure a supply line, “to support our local businesses” he’d claim, but really he wants to limit the amount of outside resources as much as possible; and when he does, he goes through a series of channels under yet another alias. For the most part, he’s perceived as something of a workaholic–taking very little time for himself outside of his morning coffee (and friday croissant). In fact, he has zero social media presence; he loathes having his photo taken so much that it comes off as an unnerving bout of paranoia. Bit of a poor sport for a business meant for the pizzazz of life.
The Riverborn are….concerning. In the sort of way a tragedy happening half-way across the globe might be. Cold, maybe so; but, by and large they aren’t much of his concern. Gil has avoided the police precinct and every member within it like the plague. Just in case his, or rather, Finch’s face, is plastered somewhere in some officer’s head who doesn’t believe second (never mind that the number is so far beyond that) chances stretch enough to cover all he’s had a hand in. That being said, he almost wishes he could…be one of them. To truly start anew. Wouldn’t that be something?

Severus Snape - Presumed dead after the Second Wizarding War. Currently resides in Cokeworth leading life as a muggle, while secretly collaborating with the Ministry. Provides information about  Death Eaters on the run as well as a cursed artifact created by Salazar Slytherin that could be of interest to their plans. Finds himself in a romantic relationship with Evelyn Black which is at odds with his double life and the feelings he still has for Lily.
Evelyn Black (oc)- An Irish historian and writer, who lives next door to Severus. Granddaughter of Marius Black, she came to England trying to piece together her grandfather´s mysterious past, after he passes away leaving her a house in Cokeworth. Currently working as a teacher at Cokeworth Academy. Enters a romantic relationship with Severus Snape not knowing he´s a wizard.
James Wright (oc) - One of Evelyn´s students at Cokeworth Academy. Embittered by his drunk father´s constant abuse of himself and his mother, James seeks solace in music, for which he has a remarkable talent. Tancey´s best friend.

Constance "Tancey" Francis (oc) One of Evelyn´s students. Youngest of two children born to a loving family of Bahamian immigrants, Tancey is a kind and bright girl, who excels in maths and sciences. James´best (and only) friend.
Angela Holt (oc). Evelyn´s co-worker, friend and confidant. Eventually befriends Severus but never quite gets comfortable with his standoffish personality.Teaches English at Cokworth academy.
Minerva McGonagal - Current headmistress of Hogwarts. Habors some feelings of guilt regarding Snape and the revelation os his true alliances and is trying to do her best to do right by him.

Draco Malfoy - Questioning his entire life and deeds in the wake of the traumatic events of the Second Wizarding War, Draco starts working as a spy for the Ministry. Snape is his contact.
Virgil Shafiq (oc) - An experienced auror, despite being barely 30 years old. Currently dividing his time between the training and inteligence sectors, and in charge of Evelyn´s safety. Was a student in Severus´ first year as a teacher and still holds Snape in great regards, as he was his head of house.
Kingsley Shacklebolt - Current Interim Minister for Magic. He´s the one to strike a deal with Snape to get him to work with their inteligence sector.

John Dawlish - Veteran auror, currently in charge of investigating Fenrir´s whereabouts. Severus´ contact.
Fr. Thomas (oc) - The presiding priest of Our Lady of Cokeworth church. Has known Severus since childhood and was the only adult who tried (unsuccessfully) to help him as a child. Still cares deeply about Severus and worries about him a great deal. Involved in various charities and social programs in his parrish.
Dmitri Vladimirovich (oc) - A stupendously wealthy Russian wizard, whose fortune is based upon suspiscious and potentialy ilegal dealings  with both wizards and muggles. Nothing much is known about him, not even his real name, "Dmitri" being a pseudonym. He is one of the people interested in the cursed artifact Snape is investigating.

Anya Vladimirovna (oc) Dmitri´s adopted sister and right hand woman. Has a remarkable talent for potions and poisons.
Arseniy (oc) A long time servant of Dmitri´s family, he oversaw Dmitri and Anya´s education personaly after their mother passed away. He´s a skilled potioneer who specializes in poisons and toxic substances and taught Anya all she knows.
Claire Rott (oc) - Lucius Malfoy´s cousin and Ludwig Rott´s wife. On the surface she´s adazzling socialite living an idle life in a French chateau, but in reality she´s a vicious blood-purist, who funneled money into the UK to aid Voldemort´s take over of the Ministry. Now she´s using her funds and contacts to help fugitive Death Eaters

Ludwig Rott (oc)- Claire´s husband. A bureucrat with the French Ministry for Magic, almost as much of a biggot as his wife, but more sensible and much less fanatic than her. Uses his political contacts to help fugitive Death Eaters and finances their actions.
Rodolphus Lestrange - Recently escaped from Azakaban. Obssessed with taking revenge on Snape for his treason. Believes Salazar´s cursed artifact may be a solution to all his problems
Rabastan Lestrange - Recently escaped from  Azakaban. Doesn´t trust his brother´s  plans, but goes along with them simply out of fear of being sent back to Azkaban.

Selwyn - Recently escaped from  Azakaban. Claire initially gives him the task of finding Snape´s whereabouts. Eventually defects to Dmitri´s side becoming a double agent.
Lucius Malfoy- Currently in house arrest, after losing access to all of his properties and funds. Sends Draco to France in order to have him contact other Death Eaters and restablish his conections, but has no idea his son is working for the Ministry instead.
Narcissa Malfoy- Hasn´t been charged with any crimes, as a pardon for her actions during the war, now all she wants is to live a peaceful life with her husband and son.

Fenrir Grayback - Recently escaped from  Azakaban, is currently going on a violent murderous rampage, leaving many young muggle victims on his wake.
Lewis Porter Murray (oc)- Evelyn´s editor, mentor and father figure.. When they first met, when she was living alone in in Dublin away from her family and he had recently lost his husband of 40 years to cancer, so  took her under his wing, not only for her talent, but because her presence filled some of his solitude.
Richard Keenan (oc) Evelyn´s ex-boyfriend, with whom she lived for two years. A writer of historical novels, he and Evelyn had a complicated relationship where personal and professional matters clashed, leading to a bad break up.

Emmet "Fin" Finnerty(oc) Evelyn´s childhood friend and confidant. Considers himself her brother, and has filled the role since Paul´s death. Works as a freelance photojournalist. 
Douglas "Doug" Cleary(oc)- Producer for a local sports channel and Fin´s boyfriend. They live together in Dublin.
Caitlin Black (oc) Evelyn´s sister, mother of Alice and Elizabeth, Sean´s ex-wife. Recently divorced, she works as a nurse in the oncology ward of Ennis General Hospital.Caitlin can´t really understand Evelyn´s obssession with finding their grandfather´s origins, but supports it nevertheless.

Sophia Black (oc) Evelyn´s mother, a very generous but overbearing woman, who went through the traumatic death of her young son which caused her to become extremely protective of her family. She doesn´t trust Severus at all at first, but eventualy warms up to him and comes to love him like a son.
Elizabeth "Liz" Black (oc)- Evelyn´s somewhat quirky grandmother, wife of Marius Black. Her husband never told her anything about his origin or the fact that he was a squib born into a magical family. She´s the first one to suport Evelyn´s search for the family´s past.
Alice Sullivan (oc) - Caitlin´s older daughter and Evelyn´s niece. Struggles with strange events and seeing things nobody else does.

Born a squib to the prestigious Black family, he was disowned at age 14, and after wandering for a few years found himself in Doolin, Ireland, where he married Liz and formed a happy family with her. Never told anybody in his family about his origins. Posthumous character

Paul Éamon Black (oc) Evelyn´s older brother, a wizard who died in an unfortunate accident involving underage magic before getting his Hogwarts letter. Dumbledore and Marius Black covered it up so the rest of the family wouldn´t know the truth.  Posthumous character
Salazar Slytherin - Hogwarts founder, Rowena´s husband and Helena´s father. Created the cursed artifact Snape and the Ministry are trying to find before disbanded Death Eaters can get a hold of it. Severus uses his letters to his wife to track down the artifact.  Posthumous character
Rowena Ravenclaw - Howarts founder, Salazar´s wife and Helena´s mother. She kept her husbands letters safe in Hogwarts, which allows Severus to use them in his investigation.  Posthumous character

Eileen Snape (née Prince) - Severus´mother. After suffering years of abuse at the hands of her husband, her already delicate health declined. She passed away when Severus was 19 years old, both of them having struggled with debt for years. Posthumous character
