Liz Phair kept going despite not achieving the heights of her biggest success. Then again, why should she stop? The musicians who had a huge blockbuster early in their career do have to continue. Cerrone, for instance, could've left after Supernature, but he kept working, until he reached the stage, where he gained a chance to achieve his Supernatural, if you catch my drift with Red Lips being the album, where those that consider him to be their idol collaborated with him. The problem? The LP presents the idea of him, because the platters in that vein often feel like fan conventions. Sure, one becomes happy to meet one's idol, but the latter corresponds to his past, not his present. Still, we should cherish these records as they give their players an opportunity to shine again.

It's hard to focus on the mission briefing while being graced by your handsome partner's presence. Viper's words sounded mute to you- like you were caught by one of Fade's prowlers. All you can hear were the fireworks cracking in your ears from the loving act that Chamber's giving you.

You were slowly intoxicated by the dopamine that surged within you as you savored the feeling of his skin around you. His pinky sometimes often curled tighter, enough for you to feel the texture of the gold tattoo that coiled around his finger. The way he claimed you in discretion was giving you a pleasurable kind of high, almost orgasmic but not in a lustful context. Heat crowded your cheeks and butterflies spammed your abdomen. Slipping little glances at you, Chamber adored how pink you were for him, his dark eyes thinning to a smile, and how you were trying to desperately hide your fluster from the people in front of you with pursed lips.

His hand then tugged to finally hold yours, thumb rubbing circles on the back of your hand. It's like someone planted a spike in your head, detonating it, and the more he teased you lovingly, the more you felt yourself slipping away and just wanting to jump onto his arms. This must be a dream, you wondered. You were very lucky to have a man like Vincent Fabron fall for you. To have him obsessed over a humble being with no Radiant powers- with absolutely no means in being a part of his bigger plans. He'd often spoil you with your needs in the morning, treat you subtly sweet even around your mutual friends, and worship the very ground you walk on- even under the sheets. He was your shining knight, shielding you as much as he can from obstacles emotionally worse than the battlefield. Chamber would even go through the lengths of leaving his Rendezvous porters next to you just to ensure that you're fine, especially in days you're burdened with stress.

"Is there something I said that's amusing to you, Chamber?," Viper called out to the marksman in a scolding tone. The agents in the room all looked at him as his name was called out.

You quickly tried to pull your hand away from his grasp, but he tightened his hold, never letting you go. He wore a gentle smile as he apologized to your superior, "My apologies, Viper. I just thought of a nice thing to do after the mission."

The sassy woman rolled her eyes, "Don't get too excited yet. This is a big mission. So, back to where we were interrupted..."

Your head remained down from embarrassment as you looked at how Chamber's hand insisted to be one with yours. You'd certainly get in trouble when one of the agents, especially your commander Brimstone, see your hands intertwined under the conference table, your relationship with the French gentleman kept a secret and all. As you peeked Chamber from your peripheral vision, you were then contented by how he reassured you that things are okay with a short yet sweet smile. You couldn't help but smile back in the same duration, just to make sure that nobody in the room was picking up any hints from both of you.

Who knows? Maybe he was thinking of taking you to a nice dinner after the mission.
