Today is the day!!! #PREY is officially out on @hulu and if you love action, badass final girls, and appreciate SFX, do yourself a favor and watch this!!! * MY SPOILER FREE REVIEW * 11/10 This movie literally had me on the edge of my seat, from start to finish!!! I have ADHD so my attention span varies, and this movie kept entertained and invested. It was very touching to hear the foreword from the films director. I hope this opens doors for more Indigenous actors, directors, etc. Representation matters!!! The fight scenes were epic. The special fx and cgi was very well done. I also noticed a couple Easter eggs that our homage to the previous films. My favorite thing about this movie was seeing a badass female Indigenous action hero!!! I loved everything about @ambermidthunder and her character Naru!!! @dakota_beavers was captivating in his breakout role, and he was so humble and gracious, and I’m pretty sure he stopped to chat and take photos with every single person who asked. @dd was such a creepy, ferocious menace, and he reminded me a lot of Kane Hodder without giving too many details away 👀 Everyone who worked on this film needs to win all the awards, because it’s incredibly done!!! HUGE thank you to @hulu @predator @disney @disneystudios @20thcenturystudios for the amazing red carpet experience!!! I got to take my oldest son, and he really enjoyed himself. (My kids have indigenous ancestry from their Dad’s side).
