i just finished dark heir so i made some memes to cope (dark heir spoilers + some speculation on part 3 from me)

I can't stop thinking about Dark Heir and how Will was essentially rejected by everyone he cared about and even then when they were all accusing him of being the dark king he was still fighting, wracking his brain trying to figure out a plan to save everybody.

god im just now realizing. will never outright lied to his friends did he. he let people assume things but he refused to actually lie about who he was to his friends. that’s why he always listened to them but shared very little about himself. he let them rely on him and he helped them and saved their lives but never let himself fully rely on them. he was desperate for companionship and trust and love and desperately happy to have a taste of it but he constantly lives with the knowledge that letting himself have that in itself means betraying them and eventually losing them. GOD.
