so i was watching Gundam SEED Destiny and i saw one of the sexiest moves I've ever seen a mecha do during battle

like. HELLO?

throwing your rifles into the air. activating both shields and parry a beam sable with your bare hands. shoot your rail guns to take it away from your rival. and then catch back your rifles while posing in a threatening way?

Built the Dragon Momoko Destiny Gundam over the last few weeks. Aside from some minor issues, it’s a pretty fun build for a third party and looks better than the Bandai MG, in my opinion.

Another Birthday present from my wife - the HGCE Destiny Gundam.

I've just barely started Gundam SEED Destiny, so I'm not familiar with this particular Gundam. But I was absolutely blown-away by this kit.

There's eight different colors of plastic in the box, plus two different transparent plastics for effects parts. Everything is very nicely color-separated. There's hardly any stickers at all... The usual foil stickers for the eyes and camera, and then a couple tiny triangles for the weapons and shield. That's it. Everything else is in the plastic.

See those red slits below the eyes? That's plastic. The white layers up over the red plastic, with narrow cut-outs to let the red show through. It's really a fantastic level of detail.

The articulation is amazing, too. Both the elbows and the knees are double-joined allowing for tremendous flexibility. And there's two different points of rotation on the arms.

And then there's just a host whole host of accessories. A giant sword, a huge gun, a shield, a regular gun, two boomerangs, and an amazing backpack.

This thing really feels more like a simplified real grade than a normal high grade gunpla model. It's so much more detailed than I expect from HG kits. Much better articulation. It's definitely my favorite build at the moment. And it doesn't feel flimsy/fragile like my RG Zaku II does.

Truly a fantastic kit.

Sima Yi Destiny Gundam totally looks like Egyptian Kaiba.

Gets even funnier when you remember that the kit even has its own duel disk.

Although the writing is undoubtedly worse compared to its predecessor, gundam seed destiny's visual design is brilliant

The ginn high maneuver type 2 is almost definitely the best the ginn has ever looked

Although lazy in concept, the zaku warrior is one of the best zaku designs there is

The 3/5 zaft gundams are all very zaft looking,

the abyss has side sections highly reminiscent of the ZnO and the GOOhN

the gaia's beam wings are an obvious evolution of the LaGOWE's wings and melee weaponry

the impulse looks like a more advanced but also standardized version of the freedom with the two sharing a similar chest shape

The saviour looks like not much seen before in terms of zaft transformable ms nor zaft gundams, However its legs are rather similar to the legend's, its beam saber placement is obviously inspired by the justice's beam boomerangs and the chest V is shared with the impulse

The chaos can be best described as not zaft in the least, it has the forbidden's colours, an omni machine, the legs from the aegis, a omni machine, and the top half inspired by a moebeus zero, an omni machine aswell, around the only zaft thing is the side skirts which seem to be the freedom's but without the rail guns

The legend is brilliant because it is simultaneously more advanced than the providence but looks less advanced with fewer dragoons and less exadurated features, symbolic of rey as lesser than rau

The sheild that the destiny throws away is brilliant because shin throws it away whenever it gets in his way, just like how he discarded athrun when he believed he had surpassed him in power level

The fatum 01 has actual use as an offensive weapon in space now and the infinite justice's sheild is brilliant as it uses its physical nature to its advantage to store weapons while still having a beam sheild emitter
