Peace and praying (mantras)

We just had an unpleasant encounter with thugs and their violent dog in the park. hubby kissed the man when the latter started bumping chest with him to start a physical fight. (All we had asked was that they put their dog on leash after he had attacked for no reason two dogs in the first 50 metres of the park).

I recited mantras and thanked Buddha and God for having protected hubby from being punched by a thug when we came home.

All is well and the mantras, tibetan, are being recited on the cd. Deva Premal and The gyuto monks of tibet. An old favourite.

I feel like change is happening for us nowadays. I feel more insecure because of it. And I shall meditate and pray and recite mantras more today and this month.

May Buddha protect us from poverty and ill health and harm, and may we and all sentient beings reach enlightenment.
