This is my digital exhibition of "Months in Hell". It took me a year to make it and it contains 5 different collections of photographs and art made by me. The paintings are made out of postal cards which I drew by hand and then scanned and compiled. It's a very personal collection to me and is basically my inner world and thoughts of how I see it. Months in Hell is a collection of postal cards sent from hell. And I was living it. Anxiety, stress, and ungodly amount of alcohol broke me, but I ended up in the hospital multiple times for different reasons, this is a collection of those events, It's basically a diary of mine, but instead of writing my thoughts and emotions, that I could not understand I drew them to give them a shape to understand them better. Different colors, shapes, and textures help break down the feeling and the emotion behind it. While also, being a message to others, hence the postal cards from hell. The photographs in the back are my photography collections in order: The Lost Side, Cleptomania, Blue Skies and Golden Sunshine and Oddities. For our first #wipwednesday we’re sharing something exciting coming in October! We’re partnering with the Tracing the Potter’s Wheel Project for their hybrid exhibition at the @allardpierson in Amsterdam called De Geheimen van het Pottersbakkerswiel/Tracing the Potter’s Wheel. We’re developing a series of mini games to complement the thematic displays within the exhibition space, so that visitors can play them on dedicated tablets. These same mini games will also be available for anyone to play using their web browser. Our focus here is keeping each mini game lightweight in terms of memory usage, designing game art and animations which clearly illustrate concepts, and providing multiple language support (Dutch and English for now, with Italian coming soon!). We are using some fantastic open source tools that have made work as a small, early stage studio much more accessible, most notably @godotengine, Inky, and @blender.official.
