In our day to day life, we all must have experienced machine learning. When you type something and spell a word incorrectly on google search it still shows you the right results that’s where a machine learning application is implemented. Social media services like “people you may know”, “face recognition” are also a part of machine learning applications. We can say that it is everywhere nowadays. Probability is that you are using it in different ways without even releasing. Machine Learning is a buzzword in the world of technology and even if you are not familiar with all the technologies you would have heard about this term.
Let’s try to understand what is Machine Learning precisely ? And how it is revolutionizing the field of artificial intelligence.
Machine learning is a section of Artificial intelligence which is targeted on the concept where machines can learn and make decisions for themselves. Learning is an important part of human life. To implement AI into the systems that can show intelligence like humans then machines should be able to learn and adjust based on their last experience. It basically explains what machines can do with learning.
We come across many applications that are driven by Machine Learning in our daily life. Some examples of these are Facial, voice or object recognition, Anti-spam mails, forecasts of weather, predictions about traffic and search engine for improving search suggestions. We all know about spam mails. The email system uses spam filter to differentiate between emails that are worthwhile from spam emails of no use.

Machine Learning has become a significant part of artificial intelligence. Machine Learning and artificial intelligence are not the same yet they are often combined into one term. ML is a branch of AI and without machine learning, artificial intelligence signifies nothing. AI is the term that enables the machine to do task intelligently. On the other side, Machine learning indicates the automated process that machines make use of to recognize meaningful patterns in data.ML is the most dominant thing in today’s world and also in the future of technologies. The progress in ML is reshaping the future of industries. It is powering the AI development currently. Self-driving cars are the most talked about topic today.
By machine learning, technologists have copied the way human mind works. It has developed complex frameworks called neural systems. Thus, neural systems make deep learning possible, a result that has delivered computers superseding human intelligence.Machine Learning algorithms deal with a large amount of information that give way to technology to make predictions. The best example of this is Amazon’s suggested product feature. It looks through your preferences and the buying habits of other people, and then suggests you other products that might appeal to you.
By using ML algorithms, we can build models that discover connections. Also, organizations can make better decisions deprived of human intervention. There are lots of ways where ML has been rendering its potential for empowering Artificial intelligence.

NXP's xAI technology uses a new neural network technique to identify Covid-19 through Xrays. This is set to be integrated into embedded chips in the next year for real time identification. The xAI neural network adds clearly defined errors into Xrays to create uncertainty that improves the accuracy of the network training. This is currently being tested on several neural network frameworks, including Google’s TensorFlow.

Telepass is wrongly rapresented as a comodity, but thanks to @Gabriele Benedetto we had the chance to see how the digital transformation is the enabler to enlarge the value proposition inside an historical and solid company. Thanks to #MIP and @Andrea Rangone we had the possibility to understand how vision and the correct business strategy, combined with digital start-up ecosystem engagement, could generate an impressive number of new services (26 in 4 years) provided to final customers thanks to a mix of technology, customer centricity and data driven approach.

Machine learning in the supply chain has given a whole new life to the machines and make them even smarter. Machine learning in the supply chain is leading the industry by giving better analysis insight which in return helps in reducing the revenue and increasing the efficiency. There is one challenge that every manufacturer’s face is predicting the outcome of the decision. Here comes the role of machine learning apps. They help in predicting the desired insight which manufacturer needs. These apps are made to give better decisions and results based on the predictive patterns by relying on the algorithms.
Finding new patterns in the supply chain will help in revolutionizing the business. The question then arises is how to find such a pattern? This is done through machine learning algorithms without the need for humanitarian efforts. Following are certain ways in which machine learning is revolutionizing supply chain management:
Helps in Better Analysing:
Machine learning apps help in analyzing the data more accurately and fastly. It gives the manufacturers an idea of the products and services by analyzing how reduced prices will have an inverse effect on the sales. The whole purpose of managing a supply chain is to predict the future demands. Machine learning is helping a lot in improving the efficiency.

Prepares the supply chain industry For Challenges:
Every sector of the industry has its own challenges and solving them at the right time with accuracy is what matters the most. Use of machine learning in the supply chain prepares the industry for sudden changes, problems, supply load etc. Supply chain industry is quite uncertain and nothing is definite. It helps the supply chain industry to choose the right tools, technology, and proper warehouse to avoid any problem in the future.
Improves the supply quality: Almost every manufacturer relies upon the supply chain system. Since companies are dependent on the external sales, therefore, the machine learning helps in choosing the right suppliers and machines. The supply chain quality matters the most in big industries and machine learning applications help in managing that quality with its algorithms. This saves the time, money and even efforts of the human labor.
Not only the machine learning, but ERP has also revolutionsed the Supply chain management.
