The phrases “#RemoteWork,” “#WorkFromHome”, “#DistributedTeams,” and “#DigitalNomad” are becoming more and more trendy on the Internet. A lot of companies and virtual employees (us included) are #writing about why it’s so great to be able to #work from across the world and on your own #schedule. Basically, there are a lot of benefits of working remotely for both #employers and #employees. But there’s another side of the coin. Since remote work is such a new trend, there are plenty arguments for it and not as many #arguments against it from companies who have tried and failed. . . . . . . . . . . #WorkFromHomeLife #workfromhomeperks #workfromhomeopportunity #workfromhomeday #safetyfirst #safety #Covid_19 #quarantinePeriod #StayIndoors #StaySafe #WFH #WFHlife #productivity #hacks #benefits #stayHome #StayFit #ComfortZone https://www.instagram.com/p/B-eKB_UDnhD/?igshid=1748yqks44b7a

What does remote work do to us?  Atlassian Study
From the Management Summary
Tumblr media
1: Distributed work could lead to an innovation drought
2: It’s hard for people to know you’re doing great work when it seems so invisible
3: Working from home brings an unexpected bonus for women
4: Distributed work brings latent inequalities to the surface
5: Everyone is experiencing working from home differently, based on 3 basic factors:   1. Household complexity. 2. Role complexity. 3. Network quality.
Interesting read. I like the effect on women and found the effect on the “What work we do” very interesting.
We also found that when working remotely, people tended to prefer more structured and routine tasks
It seems like we focus on easy work.

Coffee Chats & Cloud Tools: Our Morning Routine as a Distributed Team
What does a “morning at the office” look like when your office is everywhere? 🌍
At CorporateOne, we start our day not with a commute, but with connection. Whether we’re dialing in from Berlin, Bangalore, or Brooklyn, mornings begin with something simple yet powerful: a virtual coffee chat.
No agenda. No pressure. Just a few minutes of human connection before the productivity kicks in. ☕✨
Then, it’s on to the tools that keep our distributed team moving in sync:
🗂️ Notion to map projects and ideas
💬 Slack for async convos and fast feedback
📅 Google Meet for real-time face time
📊 Asana & Trello to keep priorities crystal clear
☁️ Google Drive for seamless sharing, everywhere
This blend of cloud collaboration + intentional culture is what makes our remote rhythm work—and why we believe the future of work is not where you work, but how you work together.
Curious how we help other companies build strong, distributed teams too? 🔗 Explore more at www.corporate.one
